The location was great. Just far enough from town but secluded. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Lots of people there but the place wasn't overcrowded. Rooms were perfect size for my family of four. The food was awesome. I looked forward to dinner. The meat selection was impressive. We will be going back.

This place is incredible. We love this place! The staff is super friendly and helpful. We had a few issues that were addressed way beyond what was expected. One staff member remembered my name and always greeted me every time she saw me around during our stay!

Attend annually w family since the opening. This year was just- eh. Not as many activities lined up for kids, pool and lazy river were filthy. No small coolers in pool area and no more live music. That's quite a few changes and for my family; not for the better.

Had a little trouble with my key card. I was in the gall on day 2 of my stay trying to get it to read and a maintenance man walked by. He took the time to stop, clean the lock and then my card worked perfectly. That's customer service.

Nice place. Lots to do. Unfortunately you have to stay for a couple days as making same day reservations to do activities is tough. Also no carts for luggage as they stay with bellman. That's ok but you are stuck to thier schedule, not the schedule that is important. THE WIFES. :) really nice place though and definately recommend

The resort is great as always. This was my first time staying overnight as I've always been here just for professional events. The rooms are clean and modern with nice views. The only downside to my room was an extremely dirty vent in the bathroom. Like an inch thick layer of dust completely covering the vent. Other than the above mentioned item, everything was great. I'm sure we'll be here again for events, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the resort for others.

This place is great! I highly recommend especially if you have kids. The accommodations and activities for kids is really great. If you want a couples getaway, this might not be the spot although it's a huge resort. There is an adult-only bar and pool. The lazy river was our favorite as well as the s'mores in the evening and the family movie. The golf course is nice and well maintained. We highly recommend. The only cons are this place is expensive and the drinks were not that great.

Loved it. The room was small but kids had an awesome time with the different activities planned in a day. The resort is very family friendly and has great staff. Kayla who greeted us in was awesome. Awesome place to take a break and spend quality time with the family.

This is a great place to visit for families. There are a ton of events planned for kids and a lazy river for for children. The reason I'm giving it 3 starts is because I came for a couple retreat and is not great for that.

Friendly staff and amazing site. Only issue I had was the cellular service for t-mobile wasn't great but that can't be helped by the hotel. Nice to be disconnected a bit (they still have WiFi). Def will be returning.

Do not pay for a poolside room, there aren t any. Could not even see the pool from our poolside room!! If in anyway handicap bring wheelchair or such because they walking to and from the pool is ridiculous. Nice personnel, great adult pool area.

Nice resort - not overly fancy but very comfortable. Traveled here for a work retreat and they put on a good show - food and service were great. FYI, bar closes at 11pm during the week and midnight on weekends. Rooms and conference areas are fairly well contained but the grounds are sprawling.

I cannot say enough nice things about this resort!

It is like its own little world...especially when you drive down the longest driveway EVER! You will think you've entered some sort of Californian hideaway resort with a Texas twist!

The grounds are just absolutely GORGEOUS! You would never guess you are in Bastrop, TX?!!

The staff are so professional and polite and the resort itself is just gorgeous from the lobby to the facilities to the actual rooms!

They also have micro horses and actual longhorns!!!

I will definitely be returning to experience the infinite amenities this amazing place has to offer again! It is like a fancy "staycation" if you are in the Austin or Central TX area.

While the location is a bit out in the boonies, it is a beautiful area with nice but average rooms. The bathrooms have walk in showers and separate tubs, which was nice. The service was mostly good, although there were a few times where toiletries and the like weren't replaced when empty.

Great, isolated and self-sufficient Shangri-La of a property located against the Colorado River about 20 minutes from Austin. Great staff, great meeting rooms, great trails, impeccable maintenance, superb food, and great times in the bar. I would most definitely return or host a gathering here.

It's a beautiful location and perfect for young kids, but the best feature is the staff. From the valet when you first arrive, to all the restaurant staff, to the folks who run the kids' activities... They are superb. I drove all the way from Atlanta with five kids for four nights there and I look forward to doing it again.

This is the best resort in the greater Austin area. The restaurants, golf course, and service are all top notch. The weekends can be quite crazy with families looking for a fun getaway, but that is never a deterrent to staying there.

It is a pricey resort, but it is worth it. I brought my family to a TEEM conference and the trip was worth it. Floating down the lazy river at 8:30 p.m. with the stars and the moon above was incredible. If you can afford it or you simply need to get away and relax in a beautiful setting, come to the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort and Spa. You won t be disappointed.

We visited this location for the 2016 Spa Girl Triathlon (just cheering on a friend). Very nice location with very nice grounds. The only weird things I saw here were:
- The speed limit: 19 MPH. Why not 20? Not bad, just weird.
- That they have signed saying that swimming in the river is prohibited. Why would you stay at a place on the river, if you can't swim in the river?

I would definitely stay here, though.

Room was dated but very well kept. Food and drink a little higher priced then I was expecting. However it was an amazing time with everything on the grounds. Several activities for adults. Impressed that my husband and I didn't lack for things to do without kids. I very much recommend it!

Wonderful resort. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and they offer free bikes to ride around the grounds, Smores around a fire pit everynight and a fun game room with classic arcade games. The room service is also very nice.

The place is beautiful, lots to do. We were there for a training event for our company so we didn't get to enjoy the amenities as we would have liked. There were bikes to ride, horses, golfing, walking trails etc. There are several restaurants and we felt they were overpriced, you have a captive audience and we would have enjoyed the experience more if we didn't feel gouged on the food prices.
