Excellent experience during my 6 night stay at the Universo hotel. Recommended!

I went for a course organized by my company and I must say that the reception was really good. Lunch is also very good.

It's q small relatively clean centrally located room. That's what you get no more no less

We spent three days in Rome as guests of the Hotel President. We found ourselves very well, cozy, comfortable and very clean. The bathroom is not very big but equipped with all the comforts, the shower is spacious and very pleasant to do. We stopped only for the breakfasts that are abundant both in the sweet and in the salty the kind and attentive solicitous waiters. It is a bit far from the center but very well served by public transport, to be recommended without reservation

Excellent hotel, clean, in the center of Rome. The arrival, at the reception, was not very polite ... polite yes, but I didn't like it. For the rest, nothing to say.

Great hotel just 5 minutes from the train Station. Lovely rooms, buffet breakfast with plenty of choice (hot/cold/pastries). No swimming pool at hotel, but there is a fitness suite.

This is a really nice hotel and is centrally located to all of what you need to see in Rome. The front desk staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms are very nice, the bed is really comfortable. Breakfast was great too! Stay here.

I stayed in hotel universo in the middle of 2015 around mid july for my final place of my trip in italy and croatia. I went to see my family in italy and croatia at the start of my trip. Then roma was a great place to stay. The weather was too hot but still such a nice place. I was sick so i didn't get to go to the colosseum but my family did. The hotel is a great place. Good computers good breakfasts in the morning. Nice beds strong internet gym was really good but the showers were average. If I come to italia I would come back to that hotel. We did a lot of walking in rome but it was fun seeing everything great hotel

Within walking distance to the Metro and Termini Station, quiet room, delicious breakfasts, comfortable beds. I loved it!

I was expecting something more ... pro: spacious room, well soundproofed and that really comfortable bed !! The cons: it stinks in the bathroom on my arrival, and a dirty teacup remained for a full 2 days without them changing, it is in an excellent position to then take the means and visit Rome, an excellent breakfast buffet, very varied and rich. I didn't try the restaurant

I was a hotel guest for a business event. Elegant structure, kindness and excellent lunch. Exceptional location as it is within walking distance of Roma Termini station

I found it an international hotel, clean and relaxing, quiet room and well-appointed staff, friendly and helpful

I attended an event, a seminar in one of the many available rooms. Communication and the paths to reach them are very well organized, the room is excellent for acoustics and multimedia. The closing cocktail is good, with very friendly staff.

Just do not get confused because you have Western and Plus Western.

The hotel is in a great location. It is a few blocks from the train station and only a 30 minute walk from most of the major tourist attractions in Rome. There are also some good restaurants nearby. The staff speaks English for the most part and try hard to accommodate you.

There is no replenishment of water at the entrance for guests and empty bottles are placed.
Fitness water server is also empty. There is no correspondence even if we tell.

I had a taxi dispatch but did not tell me that the taxi had arrived. Unfriendly response.

I can maintain some cleanliness and safety, and the location is good, but I don't want to recommend it to people, and I don't want to stay again.

Great Western style accomodations. Friendly staff, English friendly. Good location nearby the bus and train terminal and the squares

Used for a meeting. Excellent location just 5 minutes from Termini station. Seevizio active and well organized restaurant. Staff helpful and kind.

Friendly and helpful staff by far. Michele was exceptional. Breakfast at 7.50 Euro is unbelievable for such an excellent spread. Rooms are clean and well serviced.

They ran out of cutlery at breakfast both days we stayed there, others on our tour that we were on said it happened on their extra days there as well. Rooms and food were adequate though.

Great central area of Rome ... recommended more for conferences than for vacation

It is good hotel of caution rain near Termini Station. Because it is in the center of Rome, I can not expect the latest facilities, but the inside and outside of the building were neat, and the room was also simple, not the new room. The first thing I liked the most was that the water pressure in the bathroom was high and I could easily wash it, and the room was also big for the price. The location is also very close to the station, so it is easy to get around and there is no breakfast at the hotel, but there are many Korean restaurants nearby and delicious Italian restaurants.

Food was terrible. Asked for espresso and got coffee in a small cup. Lasagna was disgusting.

This hotel locates in very good position! Trip from Fiumicino airport takes aboout 40 minutes and costs 11euro/person. Location was good: Termini railway station (direct connection to Fiumicino airport!) and metro lines are 5 minutes away from hotel and Colosseum is about 10 minutes away and costs 1 euro while using metro.

Hotel by it self was clean, employees were very polite and room has air condition. While outside temperature was 36C inside temperature was 25C =).
Our room was in 1st floor and room view was not so good. I did not notice any kind of annoying noise or sounds. Breakfast was OK. Only negative thing to really mention was that you have to take showers in bath tub ( I don't like bath tub showers!). Oh yeah, we ordered twin bed but really it was double beds putted together.

Near by hotel has food store, 20+ Trattoria restaurants with very good food (if you like pasta/lasagna/pizza/beef food...) and couple of more explecive restaurants with "better" food who likes to eat "better" food.

Conclusion is: I will use this hotel again when we visit Rome next time!

Good location close to Termini station, and Republica Square. rooms were clean and renovated. breakfast was good, but needs some organization. good for families in case managed to obtain connected rooms. prices were reasonable considering location.

Location was pretty good. The air-conditioned service worked very well in the venue we had the conference, food and drinks were cheap and ok and around the Hotel there's a lot of typical restaurants open either for lunch and dinner

Great location. Nice room. Wi-Fi is good. Staff are generally friendly except those working at reception. Not much smile, always in a rush. Check in and out are ok. Breakfast is sufficient.

All really excellent, in the period of covid then having a breakfast like this and an efficiency and professionalism of all the staff up to the situation is not cheap ... scrubbed rooms and excellent reception in all its units especially allow me to mention Alberto

I was in this structure for a business meeting. The structure is very suitable for this type of event, but it is difficult to find parking if you go by car.

Nice working structure and welcoming bad management of the booking by booking com that made me pay a higher amount of 120 euros on a normal room. Vile burglary for customers who blindly trusted !!!!!!

Great location, friendly staff, there was an issue with our room at first (they sent us to a suite rather than a standard room on accident), they fixed it and gave us free drinks. No free breakfast but it was available. Easy to walk to all the landmarks, lots of hotels and places to eat in the area. Clean rooms, large size for Italy.

hotel in an excellent position to get around the center of Rome on foot. The rooms are functional and quite large, however the rooms for the disabled must be equipped with a shower chair, not present. The breakfast cannot be judged as I stayed during the coronavirus emergency. The staff has always been very nice and helpful.

We love Hotel Universo! Every year we bring a group of students to Rome and every year we stay here! The location is ideal for the Termini train station and exploring all of the main attractions in Rome. Nicoletta and Simona in the commercial office are so wonderful to work with, and the front desk staff (especially Anna Maria!) are friendly and helpful!

The Best Western Universo is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Rome. The location is great for train departures from Rome Termini, and also making it features for metro access. Most major sight seeing points aren't too far off either. The staff were friendly and check-in was simple and smooth. The breakfast was outstanding, featuring eggs, bacon, fruit, sweet croissants, and more! The rooms were also very comfortable and modern. I would definitely recommend a stay here.
