My husband and I did a stay-cation last week and we had a blast. We live in the suburbs of Atlanta and thought it would be nice to hang out in the city a few days and nights. The Grand Hyatt was the perfect place as it is close to everything. The rooms are very nice and clean. The staff is extremely helpful. And the hotel is beautiful. We ate in, we walked to dinner, we hung out by the pool. Enjoyed the waterfall while we had a delicious breakfast. Be sure to get the breakfast it is delicious. Thank you Grand Hyatt Atlanta for a fun and peaceful getaway.

Beautiful first class hotel. Not super luxe, but everything runs properly, cleanly, friendly, professionally. Calming waterfall view from lobby. Surprisingly good food, not too expensive. Drinks and rooms are expensive but worth it

Unbelievable! Booked this hotel for weekend getaway to celebrate husband's birthday. Upon check in, Daniel asked "what brings you to Atlanta this weekend?" When I mentioned my husband's birthday, he upgraded us from a high floor with pool view to a higher floor with city view + gave us access to the club room. He also asked if my husband preferred beer, wine, etc. Later that day the hotel delivered a bottle of red along with a fruit, nut & cheese tray and a birthday card signed by a members of Hyatt staff. Every single housekeeper, bellman, driver stopped to wish my husband a happy birthday and asked about our stay. On the second day chocolate strawberries were delivered and staff called us by name, acknowledged the birthday again, and asked us about our stay. We popped into the club a couple of times during our stay for an appetizer before dinner or to grab a premium coffee and muffin. The club offered first class selections without being stuffy. We also took advantage of the pool, sauna and steam rooms. On our 2nd night we used the complimentary shuttle to go to a restaurant and the service to/from was second to none. Joe was a great driver and picked us back up within 5 minutes of our call. The bellman who helped us with luggage when we left called us by name and asked if we were headed back to Tennessee (he had done his homework and knew where we lived). Okay, we were full on impressed!!! We have stayed in chains, boutiques, moderates and high end joints but the Grand Hyatt was one of our best experiences ever. The property was very nice but the service definitely wowed us!

The bedrooms are large, with extremely comfortable beds and good soundproofing. Breakfast is tasty, and the waiting staff are some of the most pleasant I have come across. After a few days the lack of variety does become obvious, however.
The bar and gift shop opposite are both well stocked with very friendly staff and the bar snacks menu is extensive.
Standard WiFi is fast enough for my needs but some may find it slow; there is the (pay extra) option to opt for Hi - speed Internet for a reasonable sum.
Only complaint is the pool, small, dated, and if there is a restroom it's extremely well hidden! No staff to ask and I've never seen anyone manning the pool bar.

Went there for a convention and they served lunch and a light dinner, BUT the dishes weren't exactly the cleanest, probably from being pushed through the hands free dishwasher so many times. Also the drinking iced water in the 5 gallon dispensers was well, "horrible" no where near filtered and it has a shell of dishwater and tasted like it too. So I poured it in a trashcan because 8 couldn't force to swallow any from 10AM till the end of conference at 6PM. I steared clear of it and drank coffee since I don't drink soft drinks. Bottled would've been better at this venue. Lunch menu was good though... Speakers were excellent for the Cyber Security Summit

Awesome! We did our holiday work event here and the hotel was very nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was good, and every body made me feel welcome. It was also easy to get to from the main street and the valet parking made getting in and out a dream. The drinks were a bit pricey. But that's to be expected in a hotel, especially one in Buckhead. Well worth the visit, not only because of the company that I work with, but also the experience as a whole.

Conveniently located within walking distance of Buckhead area shopping and transit. Accommodating staff, very helpful during business meeting(Salesforce Service Cloud Campfire). Prompt setup and break down of food throughout the day.

This hotel is very elegant and enjoyed the safe area and the meditation garden. However, during my stay I ran into several problems. First, they were not going to let me stay in the room I had already booked and paid for three days with no refund until I came up with fifty dollars for "incidentals". Secondly, after I booked the room for another five nights, I was locked out of my room for an hour. Although, the free movie was a nice gesture, and later the fruit basket was also nice. It would have been better if when I ask for coffee in my room late at night, I did not have to wait two hours. Also, when checking out, I was surprised that the bottles of water were three dollars a bottle. I guess that is what they call an incidental- drinking water that is placed in the room! The walls are super thin and you can hear everything going on next to you. I was also surprised that my "free upgrade" to a corner room cost an extra twenty five dollars a night, one in-room breakfast was fifty, and I paid thirty for another breakfast. Meanwhile, I had already paid for the breakfast on the 24th floor. Did they think I ate breakfast twice on those days? I was definitely charged for it. This place will nickel and dime you for every penny, and then lie straight to your face while getting an attitude. This is not exactly the kind of treatment I expect after I spend two thousand dollars at an overpriced hotel. Finally, after being told she would call her manager, I proceeded to call the front desk and repeatedly I was put on hold all morning. I was then told I never called by the rudest person who obviously is not cut out for the HOSPITALITY business.

Nice conference facilities, but confusing layout. Unfortunately parkingn is very expensive so uber or train to this location if possible. The employees were very helpful in helping us locate our conference which was nice!

I just stayed in this hotel over the weekend. The hotel room was nice & clean, but the front desk clerk wasn't friendly at all, quite rude (can't remember her name, but she had short brown hair). I had trouble with self-parking the ENTIRE time I was there. I kept having to call for assistance to get in and out of the gate, after I was told that my room key was supposed to work. I went back and forth to the front desk, and received 3 keys and NONE of the keys worked. It was an inconvenience and terrible experience. The lady at the front desk, laughed in my face, as if it was funny that I was having trouble with my key. I agreed to pay for my self-parking separately in cash (at the beginning of check-in) and they charged my card anyway, so I'm currently waiting on that refund to be reimbursed back to me. I will definitely not satisfied with the service I received at this hotel.

I was double charged for a no show and an actual room stay on the same night after checking in late after a delayed flight. The receptionist never explained that I would be charged as such and Hyatt has refused to refund one of the charges even though the invoice provided to me upon check-out showed a single charge.

Excellent stay at the Grand Hyatt! What started out as a 50th birthday celebration for an old friend turned into an elegant date night for me and my wife. The lobby is majestic, spacious and inviting. The small shoppes transport you to areas in Vegas or France. The closeness of the Buckhead 'walking' scene is perfect for the Atlanta first-timer, as well as, the casual come-into-town-date night couple (like us)! Great stay and top-notch staff.

I see a lot of great reviews for this hotel, and can't really figure out why. When I am in town for business, I normally stay in a hotel downtown. This particular hotel that I normally stay in, has much nicer amenities, MUCH nicer rooms and better service.

Nice hotel in an elegant area of Atlanta with a couple of shopping centers nearby. Beautiful common areas including gym and pool. Free shuttle service within 2 miles. Good food quality. I have been there 3 times but the rooms are not always on the same level.

I stayed here in April. I left my Lexus that just had a total engine overhaul by a certified Lexus mechanic with valet. Once I went to retrieve my car as soon as I got back in the car all of engine lights were on.

The valet broke my seat and thought I wouldnt notice. Which is obvious considering the battery is under the seat making it a even more expensive repair.

When I questioned him about it he blew me off and told me to speak to a manager. I tried to talk to the hotel manager about the incident she blew me off saying valet was not apart of Hyatt.

Which makes no sense considering Hyatt is the one collecting the money and its their property. I then reached out to the valet manager he dodged my calls for two days.

Once I finally spoke to him he said he d file a claim with corporate. I come home literally 24 hours later they sent a letter via snail mail that they were refusing to pay the claim stating my car was already broken. Which is a bold lie considering I have the receipts for almost $10,000 worth of repairs.

I tried to reach out to the hotel again. No response manger was never there. When I finally did get her she took no responcibilty said its the vendors fault. At no pint accepting responcibilty for anything or acknowleging the issue.

Then AAA parking made me call random numbers for days trying to reach someone. No response. I had to reach out to Hyatt corporate to get the help the hotel was not giving.

After speaking to corporate I got someone from Hyatt who again took no responcibility or acknowleged the real problem. The only thing he did was have a random Manager from AAA call me just to give me the number to a dead end.

Then asked hotel management to step in again nothing. Then the same person from Hyatt corporate sends a email to a Director at the same Vendor. Guess what he blew me off too refused to take any responcibility.

He told me to get the dealer to call him with the details $200 later they call AAA and never received a responce.

Then I reached out to Hyatt corporate to complain about the staff at the hotel and they told me All complaints about hotel management need to be with Hotel managers . So if theres a problem with the manager of a hyatt hotel the only outlet you have is the person your having problems with.

Don t stay here whatever you do. There are so many nicer and affordable places to stat in the same area without the headache. The staff and service here is the worse. Ive never received such poor services at high prices.

If anything goes wrong here theres no vehicle to a resolution. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would have to pay to be treated like a bug.

I will never do business with Hyatt again and I am buying up ad space to ensure more people are warned about this money pit.

Nice hotel, spacious rooms. Wifi connectivity without worry.
Breakfast not generous but correct, buffet style.
Reception team welcoming and smiling.
Gym in good condition and quite complete especially for cycling and running.
Small shop to remember in the hall.

As you walking in, the entrance leads to a beautiful garden and a bar. The lobby is beautiful. The room was very big and the bathroom was also a very nice size. We loved the toiletries . The extra money for the upper floor is not worth it. The view is nice but I rather expend the money in something else. The Pool is really nice, it was open late so we got to enjoy it. There is also a really nice zen garden to relax in.
The room was spotless clean and the hotel looked immaculate. Definitely recommend this hotel !

This is a nice location especially considering the price in this area. The rooms are a little bland and we had some cleaning issues, but overall it was comfortable. The gym and spa facilities were well equipped, the lounge area was quite lively and the gift shop had a wide selection. Not bad for the price.
