Fun way to spend the afternoon....although I would like doing this at night time again. We went there on a Saturday afternoon and it was just very bright and we couldnt take good pics. Overall we had fun ;)

Great experience here. Did not have any trouble whatsoever. Rooms were clean and modern, rooftop pool was very relaxing, and distance to the city of Dallas is very close. There is also complimentary printing.

Hyatt Recency Dallas is absolutely beautiful, great place for a convention! The bar is a bit pricey but great staff. Of course this is an one of the most iconic hotels of Dallas, and has the giant ball with the restraunt inside. If you've never been to Dallas this is the light up ball that you see in skyline photos. So i would say pricey but worth it. Helpful staff, beautiful hotel and convention center, and in the center of Dallas, what more could you want?

The hotel room had a very nice view and had everything you may need for a hotel visit, minus toothpaste. The beds were super comfy and big, enough to fit 2 people on each bed. The room had access to the thermostat, so you can set the temperature to whatever you feel comfortable with. I passed into the valet section to ask where the non-valet parking was, but they ignored the question and immediately took the car into overnight valet parking, so had to pay $35.

Everyone at the hotel was very professional & room was awesome. There was a lot of people noise because we were close to the elevator. We were facing the train line, but it wasn't loud. We were on the top floor.

I was there during the TFF convention recently an I have to say the food was very very sub par for a classy hotel/restaurant. Charging 9 bucks for a cheeseburger I do understand the inflation an convenience. However I the burger was AWFUL! I would be ashamed to serve that to my guests. If I am going to pay 9 bucks a burger can I at least have a real burger?

I WILL SAY THO! EXCELLENT STAFF AN THANKS FOR THE GUMMY BEARS!

We chose the Hyatt for a vie of the downtown skyline. Definitely not disappointed, it was an amazing view! The original room we stayed in had a sheets issue. We called down to the front desk whom instead of just sending housekeeping to changing the sheet she offered us a room on the top floor. If we wanted to move up. We moved floors to and even better view. The rooms were very nice and quiet. Their staffing is excellent from front desk to bar waiters. Sitting down in the evening for drinks in the atrium watching reunion tower lights was amazing. The only downside to this hotel would be its unusually small pool. I am not sure why it's so little and why they only have one with 1100 rooms. My only thought was maybe they get more convention people who wouldn't have time to spend in the pool. If they would put a 2nd bigger pool and outdoor lounge they would be a perfect hotel! Other than that one hiccup our stay was amazing.

Nice view but the pool is very small our family couldn't swim cause it was shoulder to shoulder full literally bigger kids fighting and hitting others with wet towels wasn't fun for my younger children. For the hotel to have so many guest we werent impressed.

Great stay here. The Regency is within walking distance to many restaurants and the historical district, as well as the convention center. Plus, Reservation Tower is literally right here. It's a great spot to see the entire city, especially at night. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable with a modern look and feel but still inviting. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Dallas and I would recommend this hotel to anyone also coming to Dallas.

I WOULD RATE A ZERO, but I DIDN'T HAVE THAT OPTION... Spending over $200 a night for this is ridiculous... Please don't make our mistake..
First of all got in late last night early morning and the bed and pillows are as hard as bricks..
Second, trains running all night and they were loud..
Third, you can hear everything in the hallway..
Fourth, I heard faucets turning on and off through out the night..
Fifth, 8am and there were window washer cables banging and slapping against my windows..
Sixth, there are hairs in the bathroom that don't belong to me or to my boyfriend.. And there is mold in the shower also.. And be cautious when turning on the shower.. The glass doors only open one way and it is at the opposite end away from the shower head...
ETC, ETC............

The service is amazing. We showed up late to a reservation and they were nothing but polite about it. The wait staff was equally as good. The food has been better in the past, but still worth the price.

1 st off im a truck driver and i stay in many hotels and i like to travel leisurely also but the main thing is having a comfortable bed which wasn't happening there @ 195.00 a night and to describe the room its a updated motel 6 at best valet parking 30 bucks, but you do get unlimited in and out or parking across the street at least a block from entrance to parking lot, and pool so small you do better in bath tub and the reunion tower don't belong to them now so its 16 bucks to go up no matter what your going to do but they do give you 20% off but at room price it should be free, and staff was ok but they will tackle you if you try to take bag up your self and don't even try to order room service 18 bucks 3 eggs or a movie 18 bucks for a old movie so definitely this is a pass go to omni, super8 or baymount suites

Located adjacent to the Reunion Tower and Union Station (all connected by tunnels), this hotel has quick access to the West End or any other part of downtown Dallas via the train. The two restaurants on the second floor are appealing, but we had other plans and so we're unable to patronize them. The room was spacious, with wonderful views of downtown, incredibly comfortable beds, central air for each room, and an array of relaxing furniture. From the valet at the front to the cleaning staff, everyone was friendly and helpful.

I loved all the Hyatt''s I've stayed at so far, but not this one. The room is clean and nice, however. the pillows are super uncomfortable. The worst part is that at night it's super loud. Sound insulation from the partying downstairs is non existent and you hear all of the noise amplified by the beehive structure, into the late hours of the night. Unrelaxing and disappointing.

It was in a good location for us to walk to the West End everybody was nice the only thing is if someone was smoking on the 23rd floor...The rooms we're nice.. We also got upgraded too... We had a great time!!!!

I was there for professional conference. One of the things that I thought was particularly good was that all of the audio visual equipment in all the conference rooms actually worked.

We booked the stay at the hotel for Leakycon, which was supposed to be held here in the hotel. When we arrived they told us that Leakycon had moved to the convention center 10 minutes up the road due to the overwhelming amount of tickets sold for the event. When asked to be compensated because the reason for staying at this hotel was to be in the same building they would not do anything to compensate for the changes. They said it's just a short walk up the road in our underground tunnels. We asked about a shuttle but its first come first serve with no Gaurantee. This is upsetting because we were not informed by the move to the convention center til after we arrived. This says they didn't want to lose the money for the room because we could have stayed at the Omni which is across the street from the convention center. I am not interested in a business that is only concerned about its money and not its customers.

Great.

Most people give it a 3 or 4 stars but I think it deserves a 5 due to the atmosphere that it has and the rooms are above all the best I've seen in a long time. But I've haven't had the money to stay at the Hilton or the Renaissance Hotel. If you plan on staying here don't hesitate to , do to four stars reviews that this place has on it. Thank you letting me give you the insight on this hotel

The Hyatt Regency Dallas is an upscale hotel in the heart of Dallas. Home to the iconic Reunion Tower and only steps away from Reunion Park, the hotel is a great option when attending events in downtown Dallas. The hotel was clean and the rooms had a modern look and feel. There are many restaurants on site, so if you don't feel like going out, you can simply dine in. The only negative thing I can think of with regards to my stay is the parking situation. If you opt to self-park, the lot is down the hill from the hotel, so you have quite a trek back to the hotel's entrance. It would be nice to have the option to self-park in the garage or somewhere that is at least level to an entrance to the hotel.

Very big hotel, typically used for large conferences. Very convenient (lots of restaurants, good location - about 30 minutes from the airport). The rooms are comfortable - wouldn't describe them as luxurious, though. Good service. Recommended!

Was pretty nice location for a convention, I will say the rooms that are built "hanging over the lobby" was a little freaky to look over the hand rail. Nice restaurants built in in the lobby, the bar is good for late night food after the restaurants close.

From the outside this hotel is beautiful. Until you are told that self parking is $19 plus tax or pay for valet which is $26 plus tax. Self parking is located in the back of the hotel and you walk a good quarter of a mile to get to your room.. The pool is small and no jacuzzi.. We got to our room and had a barking dog on our hallway barking all night. The steam from our shower set off the smoke alarm which went off at 2am.Only to find out that they charged $40 a night just in case for incidentals. On top of everything checked my account and they charged me an additional $233 and they can't tell me what happened and its not on their end so I'm having to go dispute the charges with my bank. Its a headache to stay here..
