Spacious rooms with an excellent view of the city. The train tracks below may be a little noisy for some, if so request a room on the quiet side of the building. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

My husband and I were at the Hemp convention at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Center and we stayed at the Hyatt in order to reduce our ticket prices for the event. That part was a great deal. And the location is very close to the conference and the view was nice, Both looking down from our elevator stop to the lobby area below with the water fountains, bar, and restaurant as well as the view outside the window of our room. There is a very large bar in the lobby and a restaurant featuring fine Italian food as well as a miniature convenience store with exorbitant prices.
Normally my husband and I would stay at a mid range hotel. Embassy Suites Holiday Inn something like that. And with your stay you normally get a free breakfast, parking, etc. It s not amazing but it s free, it s quick, it s easy and it can be very healthy. At the Hyatt you will pay out the nose for anything and everything. You have to pay for parking which is probably a quarter of a mile or more away from the front of the hotel. You re going to pay for breakfast. There is a single serve coffee pot in your room with 4 cups for coffee cartridges and two bottles of water. The mini fridge in the room did not stay cold. There is no microwave.
My husband had something he needed to print out and it was gonna cost over $12 to print. And when you leave the Hyatt they have a check-out key drop. Ashton and I thought that was really cool. And then we leave our luggage at the front of the hotel, and I go and trek to the vehicle. And because we turned in our hotel keys, and I didn t have the code for the parking lot I had to pay $30 to get out of the parking lot! There was no attendant in the guard shack to give me an alternate option. Now you re going to pay $12-$15 a day anyways for parking. Please don t get me wrong the hotel is lovely, it s wonderful, great for a business meet up. But if you are used to holiday in express or something like that, the hotel offers very little compared to the price and what you get with a less expensive hotel. The rooms are comparable. In fact the only mirror was in the bathroom so my husband in the bathroom I m getting ready I can t check to see how old the outfit I m wearing looks until he gets out of the bathroom. We did stayAnd a double queen room and we would normally get a king, but that s all that was left to get the reduced ticket prices for the conference. So it s possible that a king room might have a mirror elsewhere. The room was clean and organized. One of the things that we found puzzling was the fact that there were no trash bag liners in the trash receptacles. That seemed strange.
We don t use valet but it s $32 for overnight usage.

The staff were attentive. The room was clean and I had a great view of downtown Dallas. I wish they would supply some basic amenities if you forgot something, such as a toothbrush or toothpaste. However, they do have a store that supplies any needs you may have, just at an exorbitant price.

Absolutely beautiful views and Grand hotel. Beginning to show its age, but the design is still lovely. The location makes it difficult to go places without Uber or the train station (which is connected via a creepy tunnel) but is in downtown Dallas.

Nice hotel as long as you don't actually want to sleep!

The hotel is nice; very picturesque. Rooms are nice, staff are friendly, they have a nice bar and couple nice restaurants. The pool is small but adequate. That's where the good ends.

The location is not the greatest, but not bad.

The biggest problem with this hotel is that the design results in excessive noise in the room, making you feel like you're trying to sleep in a night club. The middle of the hotel is hollow from the 2nd floor to the glass ceiling roof. On the second floor in middle of the hotel is the bar and the all rooms enter from this "hollow" inside balcony. The noise from the bar travels all the way up to the ceiling and right into your room, where you can hear the party till after 1 am. Beware if the hotel is hosting a convention as you will not sleep.

Additionally, the hotel has a noisy freeway on one side and whistle blowing trains on the other side. So, pick your poison.

Another comment, unrelated to noise: although the service is good, the hotel has a text for service option where you text your needs to the hotels (towels, etc.) but the response time in my case was almost 2 hours. So that needs work.

Finally, don't bother ordering drinks or snacks to the poolside, unless you want to pay a premium for really slow service. The delivery charge is $5.00 which means a couple drinks may cost you over $20.00.

I would likely try to avoid this hotel in the future.

The hotel itself and rooms were incredibly nice, clean, and well stocked with everything you may need. From valet to check out everyone we encountered was very friendly and provided quick and thorough assistance with anything we needed. When we went down to the bar, the service there was great, the drinks were so good, not just bottled mix, and the food was also really good. Our only complaint is that we never waited less than ten minutes for an elevator, sometimes up to twenty minutes just to get downstairs. That's something that needs to be improved.

The hotel was kept spotless throughout our convention despite the large volume of people. Elevators were directed well, allowing fair use for everyone. The buffet was okay last year but the menu items were superb this year. Many of the staff members got into the spirit, dressing up alongside us, and the menus were even customized to fit the theme. Also, met the best waitress to ever serve me at their internal restaurant. I don't remember her name but she was this adorable black woman with a cute fro and the best disposition I've ever been graced with from a server. I look forward to going again next year.

REALLY difficult to spot from a moving vehicle in close range & difficult to navigate the area if you arent familiar. Valet is worth it. Very nice, clean facilities and staff exhibits phenomenal customer service, anticipating the needs of guests. Just make sure you leave enough time to get lost and turned around and found again if you are new to the area and driving.

A really nice hotel with some amazing views of Dallas and the Reunion Tower. Convenient location just 2 blocks away from the convention center and super close to the DART station. The only thing I wish they had were some microwaves in the rooms. It was a hassle to go down to the lobby every time we wanted to heat up some leftovers.

Attend the USASF 2018 National Meeting, event ran well due to the ample space for meeting rooms and plenty of seating. Along with our meetings we did several mixers that the staff provided food for. We had around 600 in attendance.

They charge you in advance for charges that you do not make and after you check out days later they still charge you. Charges you do not make, daily make you a new charge. The pool is very small and the cleaning service bad. I had to talk almost daily for them to do it. Send to request amenities for a birthday and only one card delivered. Very bad service in general. Very unhappy with all the inconveniences of the hotel.

I did not like the fact that the rooms do not have a microwave , they don't tell you upfront that the room doesn't have one, you have to call and ask. If you are going to check in the hotel ask for a microwave immediately upon check in , they do this purposely because they have several restaurants so you are more likely to order room service so if you are on a budget get your microwave upon check in :)

Reception was good, room wasn't quite ready but I was early so totally fair. They called as soon as it was which was slick. Room was clean and well appointed. Staff congenial and concerned, even about small things. Thanks Hyatt Dallas!

This place was busy for Easter weekend but the staff made it flow quickly and easily. Valet staff was great and the hotel staff was friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfy.

Me and my spouse stayed here and the hotel staff was amazing overall. when we arrived after check In time our room still wasn t ready. When we finally got in our room there was vomit under the vanity in the bathroom and makeup where room service didn t clean the room well. They sent room service to clean the room and gave us a rate of $99.00 which was great but me seeing vomit on a floor while taking a bath was extremely disappointing. This was one of the worse experiences with hotel cleanliness. and it seemed as if the staff cared enough to knock a couple bucks off the night stay but I do t think I ll be visiting any time soon. I was surprising my wife with a weekend out and it turned Into a not so relaxing beginning. She convinced me to stay another night to have another night from our new born baby since my parents were here to spend time with the baby. The staff is amazing but the housekeeping and cleanliness of the room I had was unacceptable.

Im in the military and due to being in the armed forces i travel more than the average person. Well on my way back to post in El Paso my flight was cancelled sadly around 1130 pm. American Airlines did not provide hotels for the ones left stranded. Like myself and many other passengers we had to find hotels to stay in, i would of stayed at the airport like a bum but my flight wasnt till two days later so i was out of luck. I ended up with the Hyatt Regency hotel, which provides free shuttles to and from the airport. And because i am military i was able to have a discount by almost 80$ off my bill plus free continental breakfast. I wasn't able to retrieve my luggage from the airlines because the airlines will just forward it to my next destination, which was extremely irritating because i only had the clothes on my back for two days and bare minimal hygiene products. Once settled in my room there was a extended amount of products that the hotel was able to provide. From female razors to wine openers. All i had to do was call them and all the stuff i needed was delivered right to my door. Not only did they have products to keep but also products to borrow such as chargers and flat irons! The staff here is extremely friendly! i arrived at the hotel after 1 am and they were still smiling. Seriously some of the nicest people i have ever met at this hotel. And i highly recommend the breakfast, it was absolutely delicious. My over all opinion is that this hotel was absolutely the best, and i highy recommend it!

Really great place. Great views. The staff seemed really busy as there were a couple of conferences going on. I asked them to check out my shower drain because it wasn't draining and the lady wrote down my room number and said she'd take care of it but I immediately knew it would get lost in the mix and it did. But the place is a top notch stay. Clean. Good location. Walking distance to everything. I'd stay there again no problem.
