Nice hotel as long as you don't actually want to sleep!

The hotel is nice; very picturesque. Rooms are nice, staff are friendly, they have a nice bar and couple nice restaurants. The pool is small but adequate. That's where the good ends.

The location is not the greatest, but not bad.

The biggest problem with this hotel is that the design results in excessive noise in the room, making you feel like you're trying to sleep in a night club. The middle of the hotel is hollow from the 2nd floor to the glass ceiling roof. On the second floor in middle of the hotel is the bar and the all rooms enter from this "hollow" inside balcony. The noise from the bar travels all the way up to the ceiling and right into your room, where you can hear the party till after 1 am. Beware if the hotel is hosting a convention as you will not sleep.

Additionally, the hotel has a noisy freeway on one side and whistle blowing trains on the other side. So, pick your poison.

Another comment, unrelated to noise: although the service is good, the hotel has a text for service option where you text your needs to the hotels (towels, etc.) but the response time in my case was almost 2 hours. So that needs work.

Finally, don't bother ordering drinks or snacks to the poolside, unless you want to pay a premium for really slow service. The delivery charge is $5.00 which means a couple drinks may cost you over $20.00.

I would likely try to avoid this hotel in the future.
