It's very sad to get to this nice hotel, with high expectation of cleanliness, and find some nail clippings right next to the welcome water bottles! Other than that, it's an O k hotel. The staff on the other hand is very nice and professional.
P.S. don't put your car with the valet service if you're planningto go out right after checking in, it'll take a while for you to get your car ready. Do it after you're done with your outing, when you're about to settle for the day.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and it is typical of higher end convention hotels where you pay a premium for the convenience of the facilities and for the amenities (no free waffles here!). Most recently, I did not spend the night but attended an all day youth convention. One disappointing experience occurred when I wanted to mail a stamped letter. The receptionist told me to take it to the FedEx office on the lower level, which did not accept USPS mail. I returned upstairs to the concierge desk (adjacent to reception) which accepted and, I trust, mailed my letter.

Here's the bottom line: the parking accommodations are unacceptable. Came for a kids piano competition - they'd booked some other event at the same time and clearly overbooked everything. I didn't want to pay $30 for valet, so I was directed to the "B Lot", which was literally a one mile walk. Hauling luggage and with two small children in tow. And it's still $20 per night. Based upon that alone, they get one star.

Staff is friendly enough. Accommodations are fine. If you're traveling for business and the company is paying all of the little costs at every juncture, the place is fine. But I'm never coming back with family or on my own dime.

This is a nice hotel with nice amenities and the rooms are very well done. However, if you get a room that has a door to an adjoining room, you better hope your neighbors are extremely quiet. Normal conversation can be heard like you are sharing the room with a couple of strangers. It's impossible to enjoy anything when all you hear is your neighbors voices, music, and whatever else they are doing to carry on. I expect it from a hotel charging 30 or 40 dollars a night. However not something I would pay 120 bucks a night for. It's an utter water of money. I've never had this problem with adjoining rooms before, but I will avoid this chain and any rooms in this setup from here on out. How hard is it to purchase doors that actually block out sound?

Nice hotel, restaurant has great views of Dallas. Food is just okay and prices of food/beverages have huge markup. The $40 bottle of whiskey I drink is $17 a shot. Valet parking comped if dining at restaurant.

Me and my wife are currently staying at the one in Dallas. The room was amazing and comfortable. The service was stellar along with the food. I would definitely be staying at another Hyatt Regency in the future with how great the stay has been so far.

Good, not great. We booked an Executive King room for 3 nights though. When we arrived, we learned that there were actually no Executive King rooms available for our first night, and that we would stay in a standard King instead. Not a huge deal - they knocked a few bucks off the cost of our stay and comped us breakfast for the whole trip. The standard King was a nice room. Pretty spacious, and with a comfy bed. We had a 9th floor Park View room, which would better be labeled a Highway View room since it overlooks a tangle of interstate intersection. When an Executive King opened up, the concierge offered to have our luggage moved up to our new room for us since we would be out and about. At about noon, I told them that would be lovely. At 3, I arrive in my new room and there's no luggage. 1 hour and 3 phone calls to the concierge later, a bell man arrives with my luggage and states that he had just heard it needed to be picked up. Unacceptable. The executive King room itself is quite nice. Comfy sofa, nice glass table, and a comfortable bed. Walls may be a bit thin - or alternatively, my romantic neighbors may just be a bit overzealous. Nothing that negatively impacted my experience. This room is a "City View" room instead of the park view, and I definitely prefer seeing the skyline over seeing a bayou and a tangle of floating concrete. There is a train that runs by and you certainly can hear it from the room, but it isn't terribly loud and didn't affect my sleeping. If you're a particularly light sleeper, this may be a problem. Breakfast at the Centennial Cafe has been wholly unremarkable. It's nice as something that's free for us, but it would be a crazy rip-off if it weren't. We had drinks and appetizers at the hotel bar, which was less absurdly overpriced than I expected. The nachos were solid. All in all, there were some issues but I got a hell of a deal that makes it worth it to be here. It's a lovely hotel - just try to make sure that they actually have availability if you book through a third party.

Our company has reserved this for the past 3 years & they always exceed my expectations. The have working with massive crowds down to a science. Polite, efficient & friendly. The rooms are well proportioned & updated in a modern motif.

Friendly staff, very attentive and accommodating. We purchased the room using Hotwire and it was obvious based on the room they put us in. The room itself was very well furnished, clean, but a few problems. 1. When we entered the room the smell of cleaning products was intense. Based on the dampness of the carpet they had just cleaned them, but the smell was very similar to that of fresh paint. 2. We were out on a lower floor, on the front of the hotel facing the train yard. All day and night you hear the trains and their horns. 3. Noisy neighbors. While I do not fault the hotel for their guests, on the floor we were on the walls were paper thin it seemed. Luckily they put their kids to bed early, so this was not a real issue. Overall for the cost we paid I was satisfied with the stay, just the minor annoyances above that I would not have expected in a hotel of such high reputation.

It's rare that we have the opportunity to stay in higher end hotels. When we do, we thoroughly enjoy the experience!

The room was clean and spacious with a great view!

The bed was comfortable but the pillows were less than desirable. Too soft.

The only thing I don't like about staying in the bigger hotels like this one is how far you have to walk to get to things. (It's not that I don't like to walk. With MS, it's just a bit of a challenge for me.)

It would be great if check-in process could be faster. It seemed to take a long time.

Beautiful place!... So many amenities. Surrounded by so many city activities... Being an Evacuee of Lake Charles, Louisiana and no home to go back to, I could see myself creating a life here.
