The hotel is preparing for a remodel, which seemed like it needed it. The room was fine, but there were small issues. The TV remote didn't work right, and the coffee pot kept turning itself on randomly.
When you have a cancelled flight, or just need a night to stay for an early flight out, this is where you go. They have nice rooms, a good restaurant/bar, and an early shuttle that takes you directly to your terminal. I've stayed here twice due to necessity and it's better than some of the hotels I go to intentionally.
Nice room. Even with hardwood floors the neighbors weren't too loud. Hot water, good pressure. Descent gym. Smaller indoor pool. Great restaurant (Steak salad, steak soup are great.) Shuttle drivers are really excited to get you to the hotel (Wear your seat belt ). With it being under renovation expect some miscues. I didn't have cold water the last time there. Just a couple drips when the faucet was turned on.
This hotel is being remodeled at the time if the writing. The updated guest rooms are lovely. The lobby will be very nice. The staff is professional yet very pleasant. There is a full.service restaurant and bar at this location. I believe that once all the construction is complete this hotel will be really nice.

Lovely location on the river. Really enjoyed our stay, hotel staff quickly picked us up from the airport in a shuttle even though it was late. We unexpectedly received a free upgrade to the presidential suite and were thrilled with the room. Room service was prompt and responsive. I would highly recommend this hotel!
I stayed here when a missed connection had me overnight in Kansas City during holiday travel, Jan. 30. I was greeted by friendly and competent staff, including Brad, who quickly helped my disheartened mood improve. The hotel itself was very quiet and comfortable and the staff in the Bar/ Restaurant were lovely. Even at 5:00am, all staff including shuttle driver were friendly and professional. Thank you for turning a disappointing travel day into a relaxing evening.

This is a recently remodeled hotel. They have a shuttle to the terminal. The staff is usually friendly. I use this hotel often, very convenient for travelers.
This place is VERY UNSANITARY!!!! Allso ran into one of the stake house managers here mike knockbar? I beleave was very rude and shouted at me he was an extremely belligerent person after I requested a simple refund this is no good...
The hotel is definitely old. But it appears it was maintained okay. Staff are nice.
I don't mind the poor overall craftsmanship of the latest remodel so much as the new shower doors now being a safety hazard. If you're over 5 1/2 feet tall, don't forget to duck when you enter/exit the shower because a normal person will be watching their footing instead of looking at the rectangular metal crossbar placed at forehead height. The doors do look nice though.

I only stopped there to use the restroom for a moment. from what I did see it looks fantastic lots and lots of construction going around the area but it is definitely from the looks of things worth getting a room at. Also to enjoy a fine meal at from the restaurant area. I definitely would like to go and stay to get the real experience of it.
I paid $150 to stay 1 night in a king suite with my boyfriend for a lash certification class I was taking. Breakfast was expensive, not complementary! Most waitress staff was rude and employees stole some product from the lash class.

Hotel itself was nice. Room was updated, staff was excellent. Only issue I had was waiting over 30 minutes for the hotel shuttle at the car rental return after calling to be picked up. Not a big deal in the big scheme of things. The shuttle in the morning to the airport was fine.
The pool tables were junk and everything was super expensive but the experience over all was ok.
The rooms were very clean and big, the beds were very comfortable. Rooms were fantastic, and the location was great. My only concern was the breakfast, there were not a lot of options for people allergic to nuts, but otherwise I had a fantastic experience.
Remodeled room was very efficient and tastefuly timelessly decorated l. Enjoyable visit. Front desk personel very helpful.
I absolutely LOVE this hotel. We come here in the winter to let our son have fun in the pool. You get free drinks in the evening and free snacks. You also get free breakfast in the morning. You really can't beat the price. The pool and hot tub are very clean. That's extremely important to me. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I plan on coming back many more times!

Why am I paying twice as much for less than half the service? I don't know, maybe it's just me but when I pay more I expect more. This hotel is beautiful in every way. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the service or staff. They are very polite and accommodating. However, I'm paying for breakfast. I'm paying for WiFi. I'm paying for everything that is generally complementary at lesser priced hotels. Forget your toothpaste? That's 5 bucks. Forget your deodorant? That's another 5 bucks.
Facilities are also very nice, pool, weight room etc but nothing so over the top that it far supercedes a lesser priced hotel.
All in all nice hotel but you DON'T get what you pay for. You get less.

Thoroughly disappointed in our 2-night stay. We got there at 11pm because of how bad the ice was on Friday and found out they had canceled our reservation, so they gave us a 1 bed oom for 2 adults and 2 kids... Then we woke up to the sound of construction work right above us before it was even 8am and that was both Saturday AND Sunday. I also find it quite a misrepresentation to say on your website that you have a Starbucks coffeehouse in yourbhotel. You obviously do not. He only positives I have are that the bed was comfortable and the food in the restarantula was very good. I hope you improve your hotel.

First, the hotel is under renovation right now and it looks like it'll be great once it's done. Our room was still unfinished, with exposed wires along the wall and a light fixture hanging off the wall. Not good for a wee one...
The concierge staff were super helpful though in moving us to another room and patient with our stream of requests, so it's much appreciated. The second room's (new) shower was leaky though. Apparently the crew will be doing another pass through once the whole floor is finished but it's unfortunate. I had the breakfast buffet at the restaurant and it was tasty. Decent variety of proteins and fruit, along with a waffle maker and friendly sociable staff.
Again the staff here were absolutely great and there's a great view of the airport on the south face. You can't hear a thing but you can watch the planes take off! I think once the renovations are done the hotel will be fantastic. While my experience wasnt the best I do think it was atypical.

I recently booked a board room for a day long meeting at the Marriott. The hotel is incredibly close to the airport allowing the out of town attendees to fly in and out the same day and lose no time with lengthy ground transportation. The board room was beautifully furnished and comfortable for the full day session. We ordered in the room from the hotel restaurant and were satisfied with the quality of the food and service. I would recommend the hotel to business travellers or anyone looking for professional meeting space.
No hot water in the morning, windows leaked, no locks on bathroom doors, no AC.
This hotel has a ton of improvements that need to be made. I got a "renovated" room but it was awful. The A/C barely put out any air at all and couldn't cool the room down. The toilet didn't flush everything until 3 or even 4 flushes. The shower didn't have warm water, let alone hot water. Wi-Fi at the hotel is a joke as well. It charges you $13 a day and I got 2 day access to it, but the second day it dropped out completely and I couldn't reconnect. With that being said, the room itself is nice and clean and modern, but they overlooked most of the important details in the room.

I stayed here a couple of times in July 2018 along with a small group international visitors. I also used one of their conference rooms for a meeting session.
I recommend the hotel for a variety of reasons.
First, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. I also found the rooms to be very quiet.
The service at the front desk was very friendly and customer focused. They were also very supportive with coordinating our meeting room.
The restaurant attached to the hotel was very good.
The parking area was spacious and we had no issues.
The location was perfect if you are connecting on a early morning flight.
Overall, I was very pleased and recommend the hotel.
We booked here after a flight cancellation and re-route to KC. After being in an airport all day and an unexpected flight to KC we were looking forward to a shower. Then we realized that our first room assignment had a tub/shower that didn't drain. We called down and they changed us to a different room. The second room was ground floor near the pool. We got off the elevator and knew right away that this a very old section of the hotel. The carpet was old and worn and the hallway smelled like pot. We went back to the front desk at 1 am. Our third room wasn't great but it was acceptable. Bathroom very small and shower water pressure very low. Then I realized that the wifi was not free and they would not provide an access code. Overall a bad experience! Not worth the money!
Booked at this hotel through my employer for three weeks. The pictures paint a better, more modern picture than what actually exists. The rooms seems like a throw-back to the 70's, they could use a bit of upgrading. I had to request a refrigerator and microwave for my room.The restaurant is attractive but the prices are outrageous. Breakfast, which fortunately for me, was free (due to employer) is $14.00 for continental and $17.00 for buffet! I did not eat other measl at the restaurant due to prices and reviews. Marriott also did not mention in their "Places to dine" section, the best restaurant around, 54th Street Bar and Grill at Zona Rosa. They have pamphlets at the front desk for Zona Rosa which is a large shopping/dining area that covers several blocks. My wife joined me for a week and we went to Zona Rosa almost daily and ate at 54th Street Bar and Grill several times. Both of us could dine there for what it would have cost just for me at the hotel restaurant. On the plus side, the staff were all friendly and the maid service was excellent.
I was pleasantly surprised with their very modern renovation that now meets a current Marriott exlerience. Previous stays were not so accommodating. The M Lounge is a huge step up in comfort and general service level. Speciality coffee machine was the bomb for me.
22 dollars for a premade salad, microwave chicken on the side and ice tea that was gone in three gulps. Room service didn't care at all about what they were serving. Terrible. Wrong dressing, no avocado on a Cobb salad. What a waste of money. Called to complain. No one cares at all.

Clean, open, friendly, restaurant/bar, good food, reasonabley priced, TV quit working, recently renovated. Unfortunately, the windows were not replaced. Much condensation that seeped under the wood floor. The water comes out between the boards. There will be mold for sure in the future.

A nice hotel with a good renovation. The tech options in the room show a move to the modern day. The restaurant and bar area are more open and natural light flows well. I have stayed here twice and this upgrade is something I enjoyed. It is very close to the airport and the five minute trip makes getting in and out convenient for everyone. Easy to recommend staying here.
