A lot of great activities: sport bars, putting green (not the same as putt-putt), watercraft rental (best to reserve before you check-in), pools and restaurants. They have Starbucks coffee at the marketplace store and they have a open field for spontaneous play. Hotel rooms are small for a family of four. We went with a apartment, which had a kitchen and balcony views to the lake.

This is a hidden gem! Boasting gorgeous views of Texas hill country, combined with amazing hospitality and endless opportunities for fun and/or relaxation, this is the place to go. Several pools, Lake LBJ with tours and rentals available, easy walking trails, tennis courts, lawn area, ponds, water features, several restaurants, a spa, etc., there is definitely something for everyone, including all ages. Shuttle services allow for you to park your car and truly rest, not even having to drive from place to place. We stayed at the hotel and it was gorgeous with beautifully designed and maintained rooms. The friendliness of staff throughout the resort was astounding, even with all of our "it's our first time here" questions. Completely positive experience!

We have been coming here for years and it is truly one of the best places to relax and unwind in central Texas! The owners of the resort have done an amazing job - the grounds are immaculate, the golf is world class, and the drinks on the beach at the Yacht Club are perfection. I always feel like I am on a total vacation even though you are just 1 hour outside of Austin (where we live). Since Horseshoe Bay/Marble Falls is a small and more rural community, the staff and servers at the restaurants are constantly changing so sometimes it is hit or miss on the level of service you will receive. For the price and convenience, it is first rate! Make sure to check out the "asian gardens" located behind the pool area.

They cancelled our reservation giving us reason that they have power outage. But I know the reason they gave us was sounding fishy. such a big resort and they dont have generators?? really? They did not even call us to inform this. Luckily we called them to confirm our reservation, for this huge resort they don t have power generators?? It s totally made up story. I had rented car for this trip from Houston, now I have to bear the cost for car rental. This is not acceptable, no courtesy to call customer and inform about cancellation.

I start with positive. Resort is beautiful. J's restaurant located in the Tower was great. Very hospitable and friendly staff. Food was exceptional quality. We had few dinners and breakfasts there. I would rate it as 5 star. Resort has a plenty of amenities. Staff is very friendly everywhere. But unfortunately Tower's room quality and service deminished a great affort of others. There is a gross misrepresentation of "7th floor lake view" rooms by the management and on a website. Our stay was contingent on lake view and balcony. And we were assured many times that we would get it. But there is no direct lake view from hotel! In addition to that, room with "supposed to have lake view" located over internal roof with multiple extremely noisy equipments. There was a balcony. But how you would use it if it was located literally in some factory?! And noise was horrible even with closed doors and windows. Room was exchanged per our request. We got pool facing room with all kinds of noise coming from there. Also, windows and balcony were facing other balconies and windows. There were no privacy whatsoever. We could not use balcony we paid for without being watched by other people. Room was supplied for one person and for one night stay. We understand and respect "no room service" in given circumstances, but we reserved room way in advance and expected to have bathroom supplies sufficient for two people for three nights and do not worry about the things you are paying for. I would give Tower hotel only 1 star. Very disappointing experience.

Older hotel and the resort is spread out a bit too much. But the view is amazing. Andrew (Bar manager at the yacht club) was an amazing bartender giving us suggestions for drinks and was also helpful with meal choices. We also visited the spa. Which was extremely relaxing. We absolutely loved the conversation we had with Angela while we waited to be led into the massage room. She was very nice and helped us start to relax before the great massage.

This place is amazing! The grounds and ambiance really sets the tone of relaxation and leisure. Dont miss out on the kid play area! Ee went during family time (which is free) and my kiddo loved it! Its very close to a parrot area too and that was another special treat that was unexpected! Theres a very large hot tub by the yacht club area (theres a shuttle that will take you there from the reception area) that is amazing and very impressive! Trust me check that area by the club out! The main pool at the hotel is pretty nice, I love that it lighted up!

This place was a great retreat but the weekend was cloudy and raining so we didn t get to enjoy much of it but you can t help that. I did enjoy the hospitality and attention to detail by all the staff. Also my kid enjoy the playground they have and the pool. We enjoyed the jacuzzi (the water was nice and hot). Overall great place to unplugged.

Bad place for a conference.

Bad place for a conference.

Upon arrival, the circle drive was so clogged with parked and running cars, resort busses, and resort golf carts that I just had to back out and find a parking spot. Unfortunately, the tiny paved lot was full, so I had to wind my way off property, through a neighborhood, then back on property to a dirt field. The unlit dirt field featured large boulders, uneven ground, and low hanging trees that scraped the top and sides of my vehicle as I navigated around the cluster of cars there. I finally parked, dragged all my luggage across the unlit dirt field, across a road, then up that same road into oncoming traffic (no sidewalk). Front desk staff was nice.

The facility is laid out poorly for a conference. The meeting rooms are generally in one area, comfortable, and have good sound. However, you had to walk out to a large makeshift tent to visit most of the exhibitors. This particular tent had a very loud AC system that made conversations challenging. While food was served in this tent, you had to take it outside to another, non climate controlled tent to eat. This greatly reduced the amount of time attendees had to spend with exhibitors. Also, no restroom facilities in the tents. You had to return to the main building for that. The exhibitors spend a lot of money to come to things like this. A disjointed, spread out, low traffic setup like this yeilds a poor return on that investment.

Room was small but well appointed. Staff was OK.

Very disappointed, came to town to meet with a wealthy customer, called in ahead of time; I was told that my room was ready.got to your beautiful property,I was treated with the worst disrespectful way. My room was given to someone else, your night audit(lady) decided to conduct business out by the main entrance, just to finish her cigarette and not to even find a parking space. She was very helpful to just to let me know about the closest Walmart and a What a burger so a could sleep in the car. Sometimes I think we forget to just pay attention to the smallest details. Thanks again for your time.

We stayed here for my husband's birthday weekend and it was wonderful. The front desk service was very nice and helpful. The place is huge so I found myself going their quite a bit. The transportation was very handy because their were a few places on the resort map that we wanted to try for a meal and they were pretty far for walking distance (not that I mind walking or anything. I just wanted to relax as much as possible) The hot tub is huge! One of the biggest that I've seen at a resort and the bartender that was working the outside bar really new how to make drinks. I made a special request for them to deliver something nice to our room for my husband between check-in and dinner and they did a phenomenal job. A beautiful, big slice of chocolate cake with some light frosting drizzle, with Strawberries and a bottle of Champagne! Very tasty and a job well done! Thank you!

My wife and I went here for our 1 year anniversary. unfortunately, it was the same time as spring break and there were a lot of unmonitored children running around, I don't blame the staff for that, but it definitely put a damper on our anniversary weekend getaway. Do some research on events at the resort before you arrive.

Upon arriving, we dropped off our bags at the front desk and went to the Spa (while our room was being prepared). The couples massage was very enjoyable and the best part of our stay. If there's any nice things to say here, it would be regarding their spa... After the massage, I received a call from the front desk that our room was ready, but when we got to the front desk, we were told it was a mistake and wasn't ready yet. We asked if we could go back to the spa to wait, since they messed up, and they refused and said it would cost additional to go back to the spa. We waited 2 hours until our room was ready (about 3 hours PAST the check-in time). Horseshoe Bay resort did nothing to attempt to fix this. It really put a sour taste in our mouth and we wouldn't recommend anyone going there.
