Iconic Hollywood hotel rich with old Hollywood history. Beautiful and spacious rooms, a pool to gather around with friends, privacy bungalows - great fun! Shirley Temple practiced her tap dancing on the Spanish tile steps in the hotel. Great meeting space should you need for a wedding or corporate event. Staff is friendly, inviting and accommodating. Great food and drinks, too!
I was very happy with my choice of hotels. Great location and beautiful room. The only thing that was less then perfect was that the shower drain seemed a little slow- but it was not a big deal. Wonderful hotel.
Nice place and good rooms but not worth to because overpriced here not like when you spend time at Santa Monica with beach view or near by the 3rd street.. etc

Nice hotel , very interesting location , I had seen better rooms and service during my life , but i won't complain , overall its a Hollywood experience , feels classic , there's always a chance to meet a celebrity or find yourself in the middle of a movie recording scene , food is fine , staff , well staff are helping but you don't feel they are welcoming. pool is really nice , water is cold though , overall its a nice place to be , i recommend it , but if you are picky , you may find reasons to complain.
3rd floor room, clean lots of bars, restaurants and helpful staff

I go for the food and the nightlife, and I'm never disappointed. Expect to be out all night.

Food was very good and big servings taking the price into account. Server/barista felt to me a little impatient but staff service overall was comfortable.
I have never personally stayed in this hotel so I'm not rating it on the rooms. But, I have been here often to enjoy the pool bar. Its very clean and the service is always very efficient.
Get a cabana! I ran into some celebrities, right in the heart of Hollywood :)
The Hollywood Roosevelt is a beautiful, historic hotel.
Rooms and building are fantastic service is great. My only gripe was the bed. Very firm and for some reason no sheets on the bed just a comforter

Good for sit down and drinks but the drinks are way over priced.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Excellent service and clean, comfortable rooms. You almost feel like you've stepped back in time with the historic atmosphere, famous photos, and exceptional service. Including the upscale outdoor pool area including the mural on the bottom of the pool! You must try their adult Cherries Jubilee milkshake at 25 Degrees Burger joint in the hotel!! Step out the front entrance of the right onto Hollywood Blvd. They were filming a clip for NCIS LA when we arrived and got a behind the scene experience watching them film the scene!
Great time in this classic Hollywood hotel. The rooms are a bit small but still fun, and the bars are top notch!
The lobby is beautiful. It has an old charm feel to it. It was very cozy and spacious.

I had to pick up my daughter and it was really confusing to find the front desk and the card to get to the room quit working.
Went for happy hour and was very surprised how cheap the prices were for a happy hour at a hotel! Cool iconic hotel in Hollywood and fun vibe! Must go for happy hour!
Staff were super friendly and attentive and venue was gorgeous and inviting.
Room is decent. It was clean and spacious. The bathroom was mediocre. There was absolutely no counter space, but again was clean. My main complaint was that we were placed near the elevators and it was extremely loud. The walls are paper thin and your can hear everything. If you are a heavy sleeper, this may not bother you. My wife and I did not get a good nights sleep due to the noises. When we went to ask if we could switch our room, they were all booked for the evening. I can understand given it was a holiday weekend. Definitely not a four star hotel as it claims.

The location was phenomenal, the food was great, some staff were not as accommodating on arrival.
Only stay at the cabanas. If you do you will thank me.

So basically I've stayed in the the hotel for about a week now and I've woke up multiple times to hearing noises in the halls and the lights turning off, also they are not sensor lights so it was a horrifying 1 week stay.
Room was clean and nice, Service was pretty good, you will hear the sounds of the street, because of the windows are not really isolated. We think best option in that really central area!

Good drinks. Went earlier in the evening so it was pretty quiet.
It was my birthday when we checked in and they asked if we were celebrating anything. Told them so and they sent complimentary champagne and chocolates to our room! Such a great surprise.
We took the offered upgrade for the rooms above the pool. They warned it could get loud but on this Wednesday night it was very quiet. Location is great. Staff super friendly and helpful. Speakeasy and bowling Lanes way too expensive. Otherwise it was awesome.
You can't order champagne for a room. They send you an email so you can fax or scan the document back to them. Huge joke of service. Knew the hotel was old, not the technology they use. Pretty appalling for a "high end" hotel.

Stopped off for a cocktail in the beautiful lobby bar. I ordered off menu and the girl behind the bar was more than helpful, would love to stay a night on our next visit.
This city is alive meaning super.. it's called walk of fame for a reason most of all have fun and put on your walking shoes... And Be safe
Very very old hotel in the heart of Hollywood. Stayed over Oscar weekend... so little manic. Missed propper concierge and luggage service only drawback. You need to cart your luggage down stairs and to your room. Smells of history.
I love coming to this place at least twice or three times a week having the great scotch watching the people swimming love the attitude of everyone who I met there from managers to representative to bartenders

Lovely staff and hotel, has a great vibe. Aircon was quite noisy in my room and it would have been nice to have somewhere to make tea/coffee, but otherwise I enjoyed my stay.
It is a hotel with a retro atmosphere. The facilities are not very good but the location is quite good. You can walk to chinese theater or go shopping.
We used super shuttle from airport.

Great Old Grand L.A. hotel. Sits on seedy and fun block of Hollywood Blvd. as do many things. Great view from the upper rooms. Bellman, bartenders, and front desk are exceedingly helpful and attentive.

Historic Hotel with multiple onsite bars, great pool, you can find rooms for 250. Perfect location to hike the Canyons, walk the strip or shop on Melrose.

Historic, low-key spot with a swanky wooden interior. Really good place to rest if you're trying to get out of the heat or use the bathroom. Drinks, while delicious and creative, are really pricey though, so beware.
Absolutely blown away by this hotel. Gorgeous rooms, perfectly located and a rich history to top it all off! I had the most incredible stay here, not to mention the wonderful staff who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Simply the best!
