The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel is a gorgeous hotel. One of the nice features about staying at this hotel is that they often host exclusive events. A lot of celebrities have stayed here and it's definitely a highly recommended visit! Not to mention, the staff has been very helpful and friendly.

The bartenders are AMAZING as usual. This is my SCHEDULED SAT PRE GRAMMY SPOT every year for the last 4 years and they never disappoint. Coming from DC i just enjoy the eclectic and entertaining scenes of the hotel and love the vibe of the "Spare Room"

The location was great, right on Hollywood Bvd opposite the Chinese Theatre. The hotel itself was really nice and well maintained.
Check in was easy and the staff were friendly.
The room was nice with a four post bed alhough it was a bit on the cramped side. There was a large sideboard with a mini bar, separate fridge (with more drinks to purchase) and mini merchandise store I felt this could have been removed or something smaller put in instead.

Negatives:
Valet Parking - The only parking option was valet parking which I wasn't keen on. I found it expensive but there was very little public parking available in the vicinity so we opted to use it. The gentleman on reception pointed out that it was comparable to other options nearby - this is true however as a guest I felt it should have been a lot cheaper.

The lift - The lifts were very slow and unreliable. Both mornings we had to wait in excess of 10 mins. On the first day I gave up but the stairs weren't easy to find. On the second day i had the suitcases so couldnt use the stairs.

Ate at 25 Degrees- didn't stay at the hotel or use their services. Service at the restaurant was great, food is delicious, and they were conscientious of us needing to be at a movie next door.

This place is amazing. The rooms are small but it's an old building. The restorations are amazing and there are classic photos of Hollywood stars everywhere. It's also supposed to be haunted though we didn't have any paranormal stuff happen. If you're looking for a classic Hollywood experience, this is your place.

Would not stay there if it was free a party hotel for young adults very disappointed even our chauffeur asked why we had booked it

The front desk clerk tried to scam us with made-up mini-bar charges. At check-out, he mentioned cooly that $103 was charged for the mini-bar, even though we did not touch any of the food and drinks there. I told him so and he quickly canceled the charge. When I asked him how the mistake occurred, he had no explanation. He may have assumed that we were foreign tourists with limited English ability and few resources for recourse against a made-up charge and thus easy prey. He failed to print or email the final invoice.

Later, when I looked at my credit card account, I saw a charge of $196! I called the billing department to complain, they promised to investigate and get back to me the following day, which they did not do. I'm finally got a refund after calling my credit card company to dispute the charge.

Furthermore, the mere fact that they have a mini-bar loaded to the brim with extremely overpriced alcohol in the room is a testament to the low class of this hotel. It is really bait for the weak minded.

In addition, the rooms were not well maintained, and the staff was unresponsive. We mentioned that the cold water faucet of the bathroom sink was loose, but it was never repaired in the next two days.

Good people pool party and right near Hollywood blvd great place to stay for the Hollywood experience

The bedroom was fabulous but the communal sitting room with a picture window was the star of the show. Breakfast was just incredible and was served at a time to suit us. They also have a very accommodating staff who served us throughout our stay. Thanks a lot! Highly recommended!

The heated swimming pool is especially nice. The small cold air pool outside is very warm. The Avenue of Stars is downstairs. The room is spacious. I went back to the hotel after watching a movie. The shortcomings are not ideal for sound insulation. After all, the tourist area.

Such an awesome hotel, so beautiful, so much history, cool vibes and creepy vibes, great staff in the heart of town...doesn't get much better!

The Roosevelt hotel is one of the hotels in Hollywood, it is also on the Hollywood walk of fame and across from the Chinese theater.

The hotel is located right on Hollywood Blvd. Within walking distance of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Walk of Fame and Chinese Theater. Our room had good views of downtown Los Angeles skyline. Ate at the Public Kitchen in the hotel - Excellent food and service.

This place is quite lovely with some great Hollywood history. The staff were tremendous, friendly and helpful.

Never a dull moment at this Hollywood Hotel. Can be quite the scene, so if that's not your thing, it may not be the place for you. But if you're into the Hollywood lifestyle, the people watching here is worth the effort.

I put a 2nd because I wanted to visit the hotel because of it. its history and interior but this is unfortunately not met. This is an extremely modern hotel that caters to couples or singles aged 30-40; a Hollywood party party hotel simply with hash smell in the corridors and pool music at the pool. But if this is what you are looking for then the hotel is definitely a 4th! But if you want to visit the hotel because of it. its history I would recommend just taking a look around. Everything costs extra: empty water in the room.

Quite disappointed with the 2 night stay here. The original room they gave us was microscopic, so for only $75 more per night we got a deluxe room. I've never been in a hotel room that cost so much and offered so little. How do you have a large hotel room without a single drawer for clothing? There's a large table acting as a desk, with a single hard wooden chair. The tv very annoyingly drops out every 5 to 10 minutes for 30 seconds. I called to complain and they said it was a system wide problem for the whole hotel. Room service forgot half my order, the service at the pool was terrible and when we asked for the manager she ignored us. Over all a very disappointing stay which won't be repeated. The only redeeming factor was the food when you finally get it is very good, and the staff is quite pleasant. Although constantly apologizing, but at these prices they should be able to hire enough staff to see that things work right. Thank you to Riley and Ryan the bellmen for being extra helpful.

The hotel, rooms, the pool area and staff are very nice, but the Library bar is AMAZING. Cocktails made just for you! No drink lists, made customised to your liking. Of course, fame spotting...

It's kind of dark and I don't really like the mood. There's a bowling alley so that's nice.

Historical hotel in the middle of all the action! Excellent front desk service to valet to bell hop checking in and out. I was a single parent traveling with two kids during the Holidays, and the staff were awesome. Clean spacious room and bathroom. Highly recommend this hotel based on service and location.

It's trendy and in a touristy neighborhood. The room was a let down and the directions to find my room were terrible.

Once in the room I felt like it was just a gift shop. Why would I want to pay $12 for a branded , reusable bag?

This is really a hidden gem in LA. I was impressed with their bar concepts and service. Well done. Great place.

Definitely new age in their approach to fine cuisine. Their "Mixologist" in the bar/lounge area was very receptive to making my group new cocktails based on our preference of foods. I was so surprised at how spot-on he was. Have you every had a Tequila drink with a little Jalapeno thrown in? Oh my. A little floral with a little nasty!!! again, oh my. The pool/late night party area just amazing. Visit their other sites; they take culinary/mixology to an entirely new level. Just amazing!

It was almost as if we were in the middle of a rain forest, which was weird. We had a delicious breakfast, and the service was quick and pleasant. My girlfriend and I have enjoyed five relaxing days here and are eager to return!

The location is convenient. Service could be a bit more organized. The DJ in the area rught outside the pool was great.

Had a great time by the pool on Sunday. Good djs and music. Drinks are always done well. Expect long delay to get in if you are not staying at the hotel. Overall very fun

I got possesed in the lobby while visiting. A pretty ookie spooky place.

The food was excellent and the service was superb! There was a staff member who was particularly helpful, accommodating and shared his knowledge every time I asked questions. The overall experience was outstanding! Highly recommended to all of my family and friends here in our area! Nice place!

One of the oldest luxury hotels in Hollywood. The first Oscars in 1901 took here place.

Worst hotel ever! Andrew, Stephen, and Corey are jokes! Worst customer service ever! My friend paid for the hotel. And they called the police on her just because she wanted a refund! She didn t even get to stay the night! I feel sorry for the authorities working there. They are clowns and criminals!

The hotel perfectly balances old romantic Hollywood history with modern luxurious accommodations, phenomenal Suites overlooking the pool, super chill vibe and amazing staff. I was just there for a few days and absolutely love the whole experience. Laying poolside on comfortable tandem lounges, poolside breakfast - the scramble #2 and an famous egg sandwich, followed by their amazing mimosa - absolute must when in La. minutes away from the main Hollywood strip and shops. The hotel does everything by the book to adress the new health guidelines and does it very efficiently. We return few times per year and always a great time

I came to this hotel expecting a luxury room and that was the absolute opposite, there was a stench coming from the bathroom it was horrendous there was a dirty feminine product in the trash that was probably there for a few days and the toilet looked very dirty like it was not cleaned in a long time, the shower had a lot of hair in its drain I was taking a bath and hair came out of the drain it was super gross and freaky, the bed had red and yellow and brown stains from both beds one bed was super soft and one was like a brick, the WiFi was terrible the tv didn t even work I used all my data on this vacation and the battery s were taped on the remote the staff were pretty nice but they need better janitors! Over all the stay was bad but I bet some of the other rooms were better.
