I was there for a grammy party and the drink situation was a crazy situation. Limited bartenders, crowds that made it take 30+ minutes to make it up to the bar. Part of it was the organizer's fault: they ran out of VIP wrist bands and caused many to not be able to enter the VIP area. They also didn't have a separate bar area or waitress to get drinks in the VIP area. Making your guests pay for drinks at a Grammy party is also not classy at all.

Amazing!Amazing!!Amazing!!!

Amazing!Amazing!!Amazing!!!
The way we were treated from the moment we got there was if we were Stars.
When you stay here, do a little research on the history of the hotel. Getting to see the rooms that some of the past great stars stayed at I thought was amazing.
Right on Hollywood boulevard made it so nice to be able to go explore. Everything we needed was in walking distance, from a CVS to Forever 21.

Room service, amazingly delicious! Every thing we ordered was definitely what you would expect at a hotel like that. I am not a big burger person but after 1 bite of my husbands that was my next meal.

Got a poolside room and paid for VIP parking since I never like Valet people in my car. The next day I got harassed by a parking attendant who obviously didn't get his part of the VIP parking money because he tried to charge me again the next morning before checkout. However, the parking guy called this security guy named Donald who didn't really know what was going on but tried to interject his few cents into the issue by asking me questions. You are not the police, you are a security guard or executive security lol. Walked away from him and asked to speak with the GM and this guy named Sebastian came out who I later found out was only the Front office manager but represented like he was the GM himself. Well, the front office manager told me I was banned from the hotel since I was upset that they followed me around the hotel and came to my room looking for me to pay additional parking. On top of that the cleaning lady took my Ghirardelli candy I just bought and when I came back to the room she said I didn't know you were still checked in. Smh The worst service ever and Sebastian Knight didn't handle the situation well and he needs to be disciplined by Corporate for treating a paying client like that and not making sure I knew he wasn't the GM. Stay far away if I were you. Calling corporate tomorrow I will follow up with details on the call.

One other note. There employees Richard and Brian were great and were very respectful throughout the situation and they will both go far in customer service and may soon be Sebastian and Donald's Boss.

Nice quiet area across the street from the crowds at Grauman's Chinese. The place is fully restored to its original glory back when the first Academy Awards were held here. Take a stroll in the mezzanine.

My favorite hotel in Hollywood! Just being there you feel like your part of old Hollywood. Having a drink at one of the bars or by the pool is always a great time. I prefer staying in the cabanas because the pool is lively night and day, but the tower is also a great place to be and relax. Great food, great drinks, and great atmosphere really all add to the experience and make staying here feel special!

Nice lunch or happy hour spot in a very red decor, complete with round booths. Delicious buttermilk ranch dressing and tasty fries, regular and sweet potato. Limited table seating, but there's a long bar with lots of beer and booze available.

The most expensive meal of my trip and it was only a salad and a cocktail

Weather wasn't so warm and they didn't have any heating for the garden area so can't say it was the most relaxed experienced.

Nonetheless the pool area is indeed lovely and a welcome oasis from the Hollywood chaos

Stayed here because of its historical relevance. Marilyn Monroe lived here so we have to check it out. A two-night stay in this Historic Hotel gave us the ultimate Hollywood experience. Perfect location great proximity to local bars restaurants and sites. Room was relatively small but very well maintained and decorated. The staff was attentive but somewhat snobby. The pool party here over the weekend is what it's all about. Everyone wants to get in to rub elbows with industry people. Great service by the pool delicious drinks on the pricey but worth the ambience and the relaxation.

We booked a suite and it was right on Hollywood boulevard. The hotel was funky, fun and had a young vibe every though it was a historic site. We walked to all the restaurants around and Ubered from there.

Not staying in a room, but me and my friends are visiting LA for the first time, and wanted to check out the famous Roosevelt! So, as we're checking things out, Bill, one of the security staff approached us. Bill asked us if we needed any help, and we told him we were just checking out the hotel because we were curious about this vintage, allegedly haunted place. He proceeded to delve us into a great history of the Roosevelt, showing us some historical spots, and adding in his personal stories from working there for 13 years. It was just an incredible treat and bonus to our trip to LA! Definitely makes me want to come back even more, and I definitely am going to be checking into the hotel for my own personal experience!

Beautiful boutique hotel on Hollywood Blvd opposite Mann's Chinese Theatre - the sidewalk stars are right outside. Interesting architecture throughout, especially the lobby. Rooms are small, but very comfortable, and the amenities and service make this a really nice hotel. Thoroughly recommended.

We were only the overnight so we didn't get to experience all thatthe Roosevelt had to offer but we had an amazing stay and want to stay again... without the kids! It was so classy in the Old School way and the bed is my favorite of any I have slept in! Highly recommended, even though we didn't get to have any ghost experiences;) The staff 's hospitality was also top notch!

The hotel Roosevelt in Hollywood was an amazing experience! Great customer service, and worked well with me, a mom who was saving breast milk for a week. It was a very relaxing stay, cannot wait to stay again!

Loved every moment of this stay. We was fortunate enough to be able to stay in the marylin Monroe suite room 229 and got to experience some of the most paranormal activity we have ever seen will most definitely be back to stay on the 9th floor next time !!!!

Watch out for the reservation process. I was quoted one rate online, then when I went to confirm it, the confirmation came back with a higher rate. When I called to see how we could address it, the response I got was "I'm very sorry. The promotion must have changed and there isn't anything I can do about it" From the perspective of a frequent business traveler who had stayed in this boutique hotel chain with no rewards program many times in the past, this cold response was unacceptable. I expect that from the big chains, but not from a boutique chain.

Its worth noting that the hotel itself is very nice for a historic property.

World-class celebrity Hotel with celebrity past guests located in the heart of L.A. with very nice rooms especially the upgraded ones and a nice and private pool area with lots of cabanas. Amazing food is offered with upscale room service and amenities. All that considering the price is very reasonable for such an elaborate hotel

Gorgeous interior lobby, the entire staff looks impeccable and stylish. Noticed a bit of a gender discrepancy however. Need more female staff for sure. Valet was a bit slow and disorganized. The couple in front of me parked at the same time as I did and they were rung up for 9 hours of valet service, and I was only there for 1 hour max (to attend a Vulturefest panel). They seemed a bit annoyed, luckily after some finagling, valet fixed their mistake. The ballroom itself where they host panels and social events is beautiful and spacious. However, I'm not a huge fan of the bottleneck exit system, feels claustrophobic when a 300+ person of people have to exit through only one set of doors. Also feels a bit dangerous in my opinion.
