My family stayed at this inexpensive hotel, and I didn't make the mistake of picking this hotel when all we wanted was there. The services they rendered were very swift and reliable. I couldn't have called for more! A huge thank you to all of you guys! Strongly suggested service in our city!

The service was odd, not bad but weird. The beds were ok although I didn't find them that comfortable. The rooms are a bit small and they charge for everything. The bathroom was extremely small and awkward along with the toilet paper was rough. It's not my first choice hotel. It does have an old charm to it though.

We were staying during our honeymoon and everything were details, from changing rooms to a better suite, strawberries with chocolate ...
The reception guy's attention was unbeatable and the facilities amazing.
This hotel does not disappoint, it is right in front of the kodak theater and it was the hotel where the first Oscar ceremony was held, a lot of history and legends in this hotel.

FYI - parking is valet only with in and out privileges and was about $45 a day, which isn't too unexpected for the area, but just be aware. The valet guys are great and were very fast with getting the car. The hotel is conveniently located in Westwood with plenty of nearby dining options and is a quick trip to UCLA, so that is another plus.

I had the BEST experience visiting Hollywood and staying at the Roosevelt. What made my experience amazing was the staff. Visiting from Canada and excited to be there I dislocated my shoulder in the gym the second day of vacation, and the staff was so assertive. A security guard by the name of Stephen made sure I was looked after from the time of the injury till the next day, complimented by evening treats in my room from the Hotel manager Milly and a "Feel Better" note. I was so grateful for my experience there, and couldn't have been happier and more pleased with all the staff. The food was amazing, and our room was extremely clean and ready every time we returned after a long day. The food options, and drink menu was also extremely pleasing, and the pool party is a must!
If you want an amazing experience and to be treated with amazing service and respect I recommend The Roosevelt!!

Staff is friendly. Room is small but comfortable. Parking is extremely expensive and there are no alternatives. Website says parking is 36$ but at checkin, they tell your it's 39.50$ - PER DAY! WIFI is ONLY FREE in LOBBY. Otherwise, it's 15$ a day! There is a pool but both days we were there, it was closed off to us because of private parties. Each time, the pool bouncer asked us what room we were in and then explained that we couldn't go for this reason or that. Kind of disappointing. If they are going to advertise the pool, they should specify that it is to "important people" and "select guests" only! Location is good though. Right on Hollywood Walk of Fame and across the street from the TCL Theater. Expect your stay to be busy. There is a club inside the hotel and it gets really busy at night. This ain't your home away from home kind of place. This is Hollywood. Still, for a young couple, this was a good stay overall.

I am shocked that when I went downstairs I saw a person driving my car. I asked what he was doing driving my car......he appeared to be confused. I have received no answer as to what this person was doing driving my car. Further we were not informed prior to our reservation that the hotel was being used for filming. However, the cleaning staff, food, front desk, and door people are great. It is a shame my get away with my 11 year old daughter had to end like this, me being confused and angry.

The history is alive and well in this beautiful structure in the heart of Hollywood. Great food, fantastic music, lovely amiance...just a perfect getaway for lovers. We only live two miles away but enjoy "staycations" at the Roosevelt. Highly recommend.

I have always loved this hotel, it has always been a go to when I ve visited LA. However today, I visited to see if I could come for breakfast and the lady at the front desk a young blonde girl was beyond rude to me. She couldn t even put a smile on her face! She was rude, sour, didn t even tell me any information - you should probably hire someone who enjoys their job and has passion for what they do. It was disgusting to be treated so disgracefully at a hotel I ve visited many times.

Went to the spare room for a birthday event and had a great time.. I enjoyed most of the drinks although they are hotel prices. Our group did reserve the bowling lanes so that gave us more room and everyone had a blast.

Ahhhhhh the Hollywood Roosevelt. How can you not like this place. Diverse food and specialty drinks. Cool pool, nice rooms and if you feel like rubbing elbows with the stars while bowling on two vintage lanes go to the mezzanine level and hit the Spare Room. Yes, clever name but it was actually a spare room for a number of years.

They took my money and I didn t even stay at the hotel. Never confirmed a reservation no email no phone call no nothing. The manager was disrespectful and dismissive and told me I would not be getting my money back.

Food overpriced and it's not even seasoned properly. Bathroom was dirty as well as towels upon check-in. Room was not pictured as described. Was not aware of additional fees being charged. Needs microwave in room when food is cold and need to be reheated. Great and convenient location.

Kristin is great. She is punctual and speedy. I really appreciate her and her professionalism. Unfortunately other staff members are not up to par. Charging me 20% gratuity and a delivery fee to not bring me everything? Not answer my calls despite being on the line non stop on speaker phone waiting. I went to front desk and said he can t do anything. The food was bad and I wouldn t have complained but forget at important item I ordered which ruins 2 other items not having and the my chicken being cooked to rubber. Come on. I tipped on top of the 20%, it s the pandemic and I wanna help everyone out especially those directly helping me. But you can t even just make sure the order is correct and cooked right? Pretty bad, I will wait and hear back on this. I look forward to the room service workers excuses on this matter.

A really cool hotel with a lot to offer guests in terms of history, style, and onsite restaurants and bars. Glad that I checked it out. I would add a warning though. If you stay there during the many events they host, as I did during AFI Fest and Vulture Fest, of which I was not attending either, you can feel a bit inconvenienced. The wait for the elevators can be brutal while security transits festival goers up and down to the penthouse for their VIP party. I was blocked by security from entering the elevators several times because I didn t have a festival badge. Also the security guards are everywhere, they re imposing and mean mug you as you re wandering around your hotel. Weird, uncomfortable and unwelcoming.

Brilliant rooms, housekeeping everyday, gorgeous pool, and an amazing restaurant make for an excellent experience. The pool attendant is overly aggressive in making sure you are an actual guest though.

I went to "the spare room". It was really cool, and pleasing on the eye... But the drinks took a VERY long time to be made. These drinks were EXPENSIVE too, so I was expecting them to be incredibly good. But, honestly, they were just okay. They had a lot of flavor, and were very well made, but the taste wasn't anything incredible. It felt very "fake" to me. Like the whole experience felt "you have money, or you want to look cool in Hollywood, so you should come to this bar and spend $18 on a mediocre drink. Oh! And we're gonna take our sweet time making it too". Idk, didn't feel worth the money to me, but overall an interesting experience.
