Rude concierge staff at the door today. Unhelpful and showed no courtesy.

beware of the pool scam pay 400 a night and then they say sorry cant use the pool

and up charging room is 300 too 400 then you get double charged and cant use the pool

room online is 255 then they charge you 479

stay away better deals down the street

REALLY fun place for bowling. Great hotel too, but $$$$

Went the the Spare room for coctails, atmosphere was good, it's cool place but the hostess seemed to be irritated by our presence.

I ate at the 25 degrees restaurant. The food was pretty decent size and was extremely delicious. I had the number one burger and switched out the thousand island sauce with a spicy aioli sauce. It was rather pricy, but worth it in the end because I haven't had such a good burger in a while.

The library bar always has the best bartenders. Such good drinks. Which of course leads to burgers across the way which are amazing.

Classic Hollywood at its best! Great new management! Much more high-end/relaxing then the old pool party college crowd. Love the bungalows much more natural and classic cali Palm Springs vibe. Love it all!

The Roosevelt Hotel is by far one of the best hotels I have ever stepped my foot inside. The pool was amazing and and the all around ambience is so welcoming. The place is kept absolutely immaculate.

The staff was very friendly. Place was well cleaned. All amenities were great. The hotel is located at the most popular spot in LA. Madame Tussauds museum is just across the road. Overall the experience was great!

Very cool bar with bowling. Cocktails are on the sweeter side. Had an old fashioned.

Upscale hotel in the middle of Hollywood Boulevar. Opposite is the Kodak Theater, the Walk of Fame passes in front of the hotel. A great starting point to visit Hollywood. The hotel is of course older but exudes a certain charm. You feel comfortable. The staff was always friendly. Room was a bit small but clean. A laundry was also just around the corner as well as many shops, bars and restaurants.

Good service. Good location in Hollywood. Near TCL, Dolby, Walk of flame, Etc.
Service : Fitness, Pool, Coffee and tea in the morning, Free Wifi. Enjoy to stay.

Great staff, and a beautiful hotel. Without going into too much detail, we had a few issues here and there with our room which were not able to be fixed but, the staff still made the best of the situation and made good on it at the end of the day. Location is perfect if your wanting to walk around Hollywood and all together this hotel is worth at least visiting.

The only problem with this place is that it's overpriced. The DJ was also absolutely beyond horrible too, but the actual venue is amazing so I didn't factor that into my rating

Not worth the money or the hype, This place is the ultimate in squeezing every penny out of you that it can. Place is by far over rated.

I live in hollywood and really like to hang out at the Roosevelt with friends. Their pool area is really nice and you will feel like home. The service is great. there is no attitude in their waitresses or servers. The lobby is great but a bit dark for me. I really prefer the whole pool area, much nicer. The Roosevelt is also the best place to celebrate your Halloween. that event is the bomb, they really do a good job with it.

Would get a 5, but we've had the AC on 50 for two days straight and it's still hot in here.

We didn't stay overnight, we used their parking valet. Employees were nice, restroom was clean.

My friends and I went to the Library Bar inside the Hotel Roosevelt. The mixologist really knew what he was doing. They don't have a menu like every restaurant. You tell the mixologist what you like (ie fruity, savory, gin, vodka etc) and they will take it from there. It really is a unique experince.

I don't want to be so rude because however their staff treated me well. I just don't like the hotel surrounding 'coz of its color and the hotel style isn't that stylish.

An amazingly historic & yet still very current hotel, fantastic posie to be in amongst the Hollywood Blvd strip, comfy rooms and a gorgeous pool and bar. Some serious Hollywood parties fill these halls, don't forget to check-out the spare room - super cool!!!

We stayed here for a night, great location across the road from the Chinese theatre. You have to pay for wifi.

This is one of the best hotels we stayed in! The room was large with a big sitting area and a couch. The room was very, very clean and modern. The staff at the front desk was also very friendly, helpful and professional. I can extremely recommend your Hotel to everyone. Good job! A big hand to all of you, guys.

5 dollar happy hour! Great sophisticated vibe. Very relaxed atmosphere. I like to meet my friends here on weeknights. On Fridays and Saturdays this place is packed and very loud. But if you are looking for a more sophisticated hangout, this may be the place for you.

I have stayed here 2 times and each time has been great every time, coming over from a 15 hour flight you want a clean, safe boutique room that is close to everything.

The staff has always gone above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable and with the other guests, nothing was ever a hassle or any trouble.

It has the famous poolside lounges that the LA chic and Hollywood elite frequent, which gets busy very quickly, they also cater for parties and functions, as well as their room service is speedy and situated on the iconic Hollywood Blvd everything is in close range.

I would definitely recommend, does range about the $300+ per night but definitely worth the money.

Room Tip: Lower Level Rooms are the key

This was the second time I stayed at this establishment, but as of my last stay, I can no longer call it an establishment but a ramshackle run down convention center. Costco has less going on than this train station of a hotel. Not only were there ten events happening at a time, between weddings, art fairs, snail racing, who the eff knows what else. The elevator wait time was over 30 minutes for each trip. When you asked the staff if there were stairs, they rudely and semi proudly boasted that there were no stairs. I asked if there was a fire what would happen, the safety warning reads if you must evacuate , like yeah if I m stuck in a fire I must evacuate . That was one facet of this disastrous stay. When we wanted to turn the ac on a waft of French fries emanated through the vents. Not only did it smell worse than a burger king s bathroom, actually burger king s bathroom smells better, but when we asked the concierge about this bizarre circumstance, they failed to help us in any way. Next up, the shower. As much as I love to stand in a lagoon of my own filth every time I shower, I found myself almost going surfing in the shower rather than, showering. The waves that were created from the over flooding were over a foot tall. Not to mention that my towel has black stains on it Anyways, if you want to wake up to the sweet smell of fried chicken, wait preposterous amounts of time to get to and from your room, and be greeted by staff whom I honestly think were less friendly than prison guards, please by all means, stay at this establishment . Oh not to mention, the lobby looks like someone was murdered in it. The pool is the only redeeming quality. Do yourself a favor and drown yourself.

Let s get into the amenities, or rather, lack there of. I think these towels were found in the rummage of hurricane Katrina. They were so hard, so dirty, and barely fit around my waist. They were fit for a toddler. We arrived to our quarters at 5 pm to a dirty and unserviced room, the concierge was so busy that they could not even answer the phone after calling 20 times in a row. As for room service, one would think this is a perk of staying at a hotel, but actually, room service was a disservice. The grilled cheese that I ordered was not grilled, but a stale piece of toast probably the size of my head smothered in cold, barely grilled cheese. The caesar salad looked so depressing, that we ate out of sheer famish and desperation than enjoyment. That is all my friends, stay here at your own risk.

I could play without worrying about time at the best location for sightseeing in Hollywood. There was only a long-established hotel, and the view of the palm trees and the pool seen from the window with American interior was wonderful. There was a feeling that the facilities were too old, the keys to the toilet and the door to enter the bathroom were not easily hit. I can not speak Japanese at all. The threshold is a bit high for tourists who do not bring a heel for dressing up for dinner.

It's a lovely old hotel. We have stayed here twice now. Location is great. Staff were helpful, room was basic but clean. Would stay again.

This is Hollywood history at its best. A beautiful old hotel with all modern amenities and a great 24 hour diner/burger restaurant. Supposedly haunted too.

wow this is amazing. I stayed at the hotel for a week as a back- up resort because the original hotel I was going to was closed. Everything was great while our stay with my 12 year old daughter. It was the last day at the hotel and they had said because of possible damage to the room, they would a pending on my credit card account. I am now back home and it has been 3 weeks and there is yet still a pending. I try calling everyday, sending emails, and even trying to get through with instagram and Facebook direct messages. But yet still no answer nor call. I do not recommend this hotel if you don't wanna get caught up in this little game of theirs.

Very good service at the bar. Very laid back place to have a few drinks. They do offer bowling, which, while expensive, was very enjoyable.

The worst hotel I have ever been!
We reached to the hotel around 9am and we have booked for early check-in at 11am.
That girl with spectacles and has long hair from reception was like she knows everything more than us. We were told you guys are so early and check-in time is 3pm.
But I was shocked. I mean we booked for the advance purchase and already paid for early checked-in thing. So I told her I already paid for early check-in.
And she didn t even say sorry. She was like oh yeah, okay. You guys already paid.
Can you imagine like you booked for your parents and you paid for early check-in and then they meet with this girl who works really messy. Your $99+ is already waving good-bye.

Anyway, no daily water and a bottle of water cost is USD 6.00.
I don t understand there was no complimentary for water.
Coffee or tea is served at the hotel lobby. What if I want to drink coffee at night in my room, have to call and order and pay for coffee like USD 12.00+ ? Bathroom was total nightmare. No idea how you guys designed for the bathtub and shower place.

We did check-out one day before our actual check-out date as me and my sister were disappointing with such a disaster service and bad accommodation.

Location is fantastic, the ambiance inside was lowlight and personal. Custom drinks based on your mood was a nice touch.

Great rooms with assorted beer, liquor, and premade cocktails ready for purchase. Room service for breakfast then lunch and drinks poolside was how we spent our time. Will definitely be coming back.
