Nice room with good view. Noisy location. Aircon very loud but thankfully didn't need to use it.

Stayed here once with my mom and we really enjoyed the star treatment that they give you. The valet parking is expensive, but when you're in LA lots of places have valet. The rooms were cozy and clean! Centrally located in Los Angeles, and it's right in the heart of Hollywood!
Best location and ambience of old Hollywood. We got a tour of Marilyn Monroe's suite - and where the original Oscars was held.
Hotel is nice. Unfortunately, the connecting rooms we booked were not available when we arrived. Very disappointed. Hotel is located close to just about anything.
The Hollywood Roosevelt was an imaginable experience. The entrance was beautiful and the receptionist offered us drinks and sweets. We went to eat at the burger restaurant our first night and they were delicious. We'll be back soon!
I didn't stay at the hotel but I dined at Public Kitchen and bar. The food was OK but the libations were better.
Another really neat place to get a drink! The bathrooms are really nice too!
Best location and wonderful staff. Plus beautiful hotel
This Place Was Scary I got the Maryland Moore And i seen lights flicker and more and i went To Governer Quiffs Room and He sits and the seat in the corner of a chair and i seen a hand print on thee seat
Came for a quick meeting at the outside bar area. Had a very Hollywood-style, swanky atmosphere. Good drinks, great service.
Always love going there to grab a drink before the new week starts. Good people, good bartenders, and a great environment
Upon arriving we were greeted very well after our long flight by a young lady at the front who checked us in. This same attendant helped with a room change later on in the day. Viewing their website could be slightly more clear about which room choice we would be receiving. The minimal up grade was worth it (from a Cabana room over looking the street to one with pool access), showers we're made for one we made it work though. Our original was too small for the price, but had a bigger bathroom. We only had one real complaint about the stay and one minimal one. Upon arriving, since it was going to be a long flight, I wanted to book an in-room or on the premises massage to take place the day we arrived. When I called to set one up two days prior I was directed to the masseur's line and left a detailed message and was never contected. I called about three separate occasions with no return calls, so I made off site arrangements (couples massage up sunset blvd was worth the $6 uber ride). The minor complaint was about having to call two days in a row to receive a glass from house keeping. The front desk did apologize being that they remembered the request from the day prior, and we received one within 15-20mins.
We stayed here when traveling out of the US on our last night before heading back to Sydney. It was nice and there were not a lot of people staying here due to COVID. They were taking good care to make sure people followed mask rules and the dining / bar areas were all closed. I m sure it s amazing when everything is open. Be aware, when there is not a pandemic happening they sell pool passes to the public. That wasn t happening during our stay or I probably wouldn t have stayed knowing that the pool could be overrun by those not staying there.
The rooms do not look like the pictures online. We reserved the Cabana Poolside and as we stepped out to the cabana there was water dripping down from the above balcony and a big puddle on the ground. Strike 1, 2 & 3. Went right back to the desk and checked out, I was glad there wasn't a hassle with that.
Gorgeous hotel right on Hollywood Boulevard. Beautiful room. Comfy bed.
This hotel s location is perfect for visiting LA. It s right in the middle of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Our room was clean and their reception was incredible. The staff was really friendly and they gave us a little something because we told them we were celebrating our honeymoon. The Cabana room was great and had a great view of the pool area. The rooms service breakfast was delicious. The only drawback was that we can hear the neighbors as if they were in the same room with us. We couldn t really hear the pool area but our neighbors came home at 2 am and woke me and my wife up after a night out.
Great building! Really great venue to watch Harry Potter and the half blood prince
It was amazing. Many have said Marilyn Monroe died there. The service was amazing. Rooms were clean.
I can t say anything bad at all about the service. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the whole stay. My issue is I felt misled getting the cabana room. It s pictures with a balcony when I reserved but once I got to the hotel I was told it s a $79 up charge for room with the balcony. Overall environment could have been much cleaner, but beautiful view and scenery at this hotel!
Historic, I supposed. Smelled terrible inside, like dirty old shoes left in a pool.
Beautiful hotel. Very well made drinks and the food was delicious. Can't wait to go back.
Had a great time checking out the Tiki themed night at The Spare Room. Also loved the drink I had at Library Bar.
Problems with check in, finally got room at 16:30. And we got a really bad one. Complained and luckily got a better room...so it was not a total disaster... but the first room i got... that was really bad...
Very Pretty Hotel And Friendly Service . The Food Was Really Good. Thank You
This hotel has come a mighty long way over the last two decades making it once again the chic, upscale hotel that it now is. The revamped rooms are lovely as is the decor around the hotel. It even has a nightclub that caters to the Hollywood Elite as well as the normal club going crowd. You will love the new rooms, room service and all the other amenities that go with This swanky hotel.
Tasty drinks at the Spare Room! Comfy, interesting space
Awesome old school Hollywood atmosphere, several bars to cool off in
Friendly staff and beautiful hotel and pool...for a fun vibe, be sure to get a room around the pool, separate from their tower rooms.
The poolside bar is amazing and so is their customer service! This hotel is a wonderful landmark and should be the first stop on any visit to Hollywood!
Iconic landmark, great to just go walking through if you're in Hollywood
Nice hotel, however something grabbed my leg in the middle of the night... I woke up suddenly from that, then all of a sudden the bathroom sink turned on. Nope....other than that, the hotel is beautiful with great history, the location is prime, and the staff is friendly.
The hotel bar is gorgeous and has an amazing high ceiling
Nice hotel. Good service . Nice view if u got the right side.
It was nice but maybe not $300 plus. It is in the heart of Hollywood (Blvd). It was across the street and in the epicenter of it all! In walking distance to most main attractions: Madame Toussaud's, Ripley's Believe it or not, Hollywood Wax Museum, Chinese Theatre, and much more. We parked at the hotel just out of convenience but I was told by our shady tour guide parking is $15 across the street. It was my wife's birthday's so I splurged on everything this weekend.
The room was small but it's a boutique 20's themed hotel, so that's ok. Everything in the room was nice but I was disappointed that we didn't get use of the refrigerator in the room. It was locked. We left the window open, mid-Oct, so temp was really nice. No humidity...we from Florida. The parking is in the rear due to traffic so we didn't get the 4 star feel upon entrance but we understand. The lobby is gorgeous.
I'm not saying this is a bad hotel, I give it 4 stars, but I will try another place next time I come just for the experience. I would recommend this place due to location and overall it's a nice hotel.
Beautifully haunting atmosphere right on the Hollywood strip.
Delicious late night food at the diner. The fried egg sandwich and truffle fries hit the spot!
The staves were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable every time I asked questions. The hotel was also very clean in every area, and the staff was very friendly and professional. One of my favorites was the food, it was very delicious and the presentation was extremely beautiful! Strongly recommended to all!
Very solid room with a very comfortable bed. Nice and quiet steps away from famous Hollywood blvd. Star walk. Beautiful historic building very up to date and clean.
Accommodations were great, staff was friendly and nice, drinks were unexpectedly expensive.
Beautiful historic hotel, rooms are elegant and staff are attentive
Staff was friendly room was nice and it was a very relaxing experience
The best location ever.
Perfect view.
Pool gets overcrowded... But that proves how great it was.
Staff was polite and helpful. I came in early for a check-in almost an hour and half early.
They checked me in without a cloud over their heads.
Very happy visit.
Nice decor and ambience. The location is prime! Try to get a room with a patio if you can. That sets it all off! I have the room facing the street and it is real nice. The only reason it isn t a 5 star is because it doesn t have basic things that I have been accustomed to at other hotels.
1. Blow dryer
2. Fridge
3. Microwave
4. Coffee/Tea maker
The day staff is AWESOME!!!! Love them and they did everything they could to make my stay perfect. The night front desk guy, not so much. No biggie since I am asleep anyway.
The staff is very rude. Get rid of the bouncer guy he scares off people.
A Special Hotel. The Roosevelt is steeped in history but it only partially plays to its heritage. They have seven bars and has some of the best drinks in LA. The pool looks like it could be in Pulp Fiction. There's two restaurants that are decent. The hotel rooms range from nice to elegant. If you stay there on the weekend, be sure to stay high up to avoid the obnoxious, dental rattling "music" that doesn't stop until 2AM. Having said that, The Roosevelt is a great location and a good place to stay and mingle.
The bar service was great, the ambiance was great, we usually visit for a drink when visiting la
Great customer service. Waiter was very helpful and funny
Strategic location right in front of the walk of fame and 100 meters from the metro and bus stop. Hotel with huge common areas and a comfortable 24-hour American bar. King size 1239 room of adequate size. Nice modern and comfortable four poster bed the pity the pillows which had a bad smell despite the pillowcases being clean. Old wardrobe and worn furniture generally rather worn small and old bathroom to the limits of decency with old door painted in white. Room and bathroom clean. Very friendly reception staff.
Very beautiful and right in the middle of Hollywood. Perfect place to stay
The hotel is really beautiful, right on the Walk of Fame. In the rooms you can hardly hear something from the street. The windows can not be opened and the standard rooms are very small - hardly any space for the suitcases.
Great hotel. Came and stayed here about 4 years ago so this review is sort of old but can still talk about my experience. At first my friend and I were just hanging out outside and we saw a few basketball players staying here since it was the off season so we kind of just snook our way to where the pool is and we had a blast, took pictures with people. Jumped in the pool and it was fun, they have a bar by the pool as well. A week later we ended up staying a weekend here and the room was nice a cozy and still had a blast. Its also nice for tourists that want to be close to Hollywood blvd.
Stopped by for breakfast. The 25 Breakfast Sandwich is everything!! Ask for Jesse...had order out in less than 10 mins.
