I was there for a comedy show. The venue was beautiful and they have so many event rooms inside. There was one with a bowling alley. It's definitely a place I'd stay on a visit. It's in the heart of Hollywood.

First and foremost Great Staff, but did not make up for the short falls of the Hotel! Hotel needs major renovation. Room, Bath Room, Hallways are completely worn out. My Room was smaller than the ones I stayed in Europe. A/C Unit from above was Loud so I had shut the Bath Room door - non functioning sliding door - to cut the noise. Shower drain was clogged partial and not draining properly. Mold on the edges of the Tile. TV interface is terrible to move between the channels. Not a good place for Business Meetings. So called the "Business Room" had the worst Lighting ever. Burger joint adjacent to the Hotel had one of the best Burgers I have ever had. Also, the Pool area is Beautiful on a sunny day. On the way out, I had the correct bill. A day later they sent another bill with 1 Large Evian added ($10) which I did not consume. I called the Hotel and they will correct the Bill.

Definitely a must-visit place if you're in Hollywood. Walking in there's a restaurant to your right and a lounge in front of you as well. Drinks are moderately priced but what do you expect at the Roosevelt. There's also a Club that's open in the weekend which has a very good vibe and good decor as well. Going upstairs there's actually a two-lane bowling alley with a bar and a DJ. That in my opinion is the funnest part of being in the Roosevelt. There's also the club downstairs after walking in from the valet and check-in but I've yet to go inside.

We were looking to do something at 130am and my friend took us here. It was so nice to get here at 130am because we had more time to see everything and take out-crowded pictures because the sidewalks were empty and very clear to walk through. Clean sidewalks (the city was working on cleaning) fun open bars but make sure you get in before 2am if you want to buy alcohol.

Amazing place historic on one side, modern on the other. Beautiful pool side cabanas. Tropicana pool area is so relaxing and refreshing. Cabanas offer poolside views. Family fun in the day and amazing adult nightlife including amazing djs and delicious custom cocktails. There are multiple bars all themed appropriately . I met an A list celebrity on a thursday night there. Everything about this place was perfect. It is very pricey tho.. expect to pay a pretty penny. I can't emphasis enough how much I enjoyed my stay here. The complimentary

I went into my two night stay at the Roosevelt believing it was going to be 5 star. I mean, why would it not be booking a Cabana Suite at a Historic Hotel? I get we are in COVID-19 times, and particularly in Los Angeles there is a lot of care in how businesses are operating. I take all that into account as I think about my experience here. I teeter between 2-3 stars overall. Since I only have so many characters let me start by saying when you are paying roughly $700 per night for a room, regardless of size you are expecting overall property top notch service. Valet - Five star... the gentlemen that work out in Valet/Bell were the only outstanding part of our stay. Super friendly, very accommodating and really made an effort to get to know you. Front Desk... checking in, the guy who helped us seemed annoyed with us checking in at roughly 2:15PM. He kept saying check-in was not until 3. That is fine, but no need to repeat. He also covered their operating rules - only TWO people allowed in our suite (okay, but other rooms had way more than 2 people), no service unless we requested it, certain common areas closed, etc. He made a point of stating how clean their rooms are and their website covers how they take that seriously. I will say that the young man who helped us later when we got our keys was very friendly and kind. We dealt with him later and he was always gracious. Tropicana Bar great drinks/food - service slow. Cabana Suite - Room 108 - I go back and forth about this. The room was spacious and the private patio was super awesome. It had a private outdoor shower that ended up not working (get your stuff working for people dropping $$$ for these rooms) along with the fireplace that did not work. Y'all have been open a month at this point right? The room itself was lovely, although seating was minimal with one stool... one chair and a sofa. We could not find the remote for the sitting area TV until the next day when we found it under the curtains and we quickly sanitized it. There was confetti all over the floor in the sitting are as well and the patio so it was clear that the prior guest had a celebration of sorts. At that point we started worrying about the actual cleanliness of the room if these items had been overlooked. On day 2 in the afternoon... I went to grab the ironing board (be mindful it is a table top ironing board) I see this room key cover on the top shelf and think okay yet another housekeeping item overlooked and threw it away. As I grabbed the ironing board and look down there is a room key and another card with a bunch of white powder substance. Presumably cocaine or some other drug given the layout (of course we took a pic and I sent to my Hubby who is retired federal law for his thoughts). We called down for a manager who quickly came up with someone probably from security, then followed by someone who sterilized/cleaned it up. They were genuinely apologetic, I was conflicted. How clean was this room really --- and in COVID-19 times no less? Not to mention the drugs in the room from their prior guest I am guessing given the previously mentioned confetti/under the curtain smudged remote. They offered to take off my late check out (which I did not even use anyway) and $200 off my bill. Not impressed, but not worth the confrontation or interaction about something that is pretty disturbing on two fronts.

For a $1400-ish 48 hours experience ... it fell very short.

Went to the pool for drinks and Night Swimming. It was easy to get into. The line seems long but moved quickly. The bartenders were fantastic! Just a heads up there is a service charge included in all the checks. I still tip on top of it but it just means you don't have to tip as much.

All the valet, servers, bellhops were friendly and helpful. The desk was a bit cold (both when we made reservations and at check in) The room was simple, clean and pet friendly. All the help bent over backwards catering to our dog. They took pictures and treated him so wonderfully special. That meant a lot to us. Unfortunately we only got to stay one night in attendance of a wedding. Needless to say that event turned out to be a fun time. All in all the experience was a nice one. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the other amenities.

I went there for evening with friends to have some drink and after all I forgot my little bag which carries my sons t shirts and toys ... I called 2-3 hours continuous in night no response at all. What can I say. The customer service at the Roosevelt was absolutely TOP NOTCH. From the front desk crew, to the valet attendants, to the bartenders and servers poolside, this place treated my family like gold. My wife and I took our 14 year son and his friend to the Roosevelt last week. Never once did we feel uncomfortable. The pool gets rockin and the hotel crew do a fantastic job at keeping non guests out. We met Courtland early on in our stay and he made sure we were takin' care of the entire week. I'm not sure if the 25 Degrees restaurant is part of the hotel, but it was absolutely fantastic. Best burgers on the planet!!!! We ate there twice. The boys would go down late night and get milk shakes. If I had anything negative to say about the place was the roof and bowling alley. We thought hotel guests had access to the roof at all times. We envisioned having drinks on the roof overlooking Hollywood. Turns out the roof is reserved for functions. Oh well! We thought the kids could go bowling when they had some down time. Turns out the bowling alley is a bar and 21 and over. The kids didn't care so neither did we. No biggie. I most likely overlooked both of these factors when I booked. They were not big deals just an oversight on my part. I took this photo while we were having a drink at the pool on 4th of July. The Roosevelt kicks ass!!!! Thank you to your staff and especially Courtland.

Stayed at one of the cabanas and loved it! The room was very clean and the housekeepers did an amazing job. Nearby attractions include the walk of Fame, several well known movie theaters, and a metro station.

From the moment we approached the front desk until still today, the service and care and attention from the staff at this wonderful hotel is first class. We were greeted as if they had been waiting for us, told they had a special room just for us (and it was) how smart! Every employee around greeted us at all times and asked if they could help. And Bri has followed up to send me some lotion I loved while there, that I cannot get anywhere else. They make it look easy to give awesome service. Please stay here when visiting Hollywood. I will stay nowhere else. Thank you!

We stayed at The Hollywood Roosevelt for my daughters birthday. They were under construction at the time so we cut our visit short. Explaining my situation to the Front Office Manager, Sabestian Knight he compensated us tremendously. He went out of his way to make sure he could make things right for us. The staff and security were very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay there again, but without my kids next time. This is a very nice hotel in the heart of all that is happening in Hollywood.

Ate at 25 degrees. Burgers were amazing but it did cost $20. That's budget around there anyway and the milkshake was super yummy. Not a low calorie meal for sure. Walked through the lobby of the hotel and saw the pool. It's definitely older but beautiful.

Beautiful historic hotel with excellent service. They do a great job keeping the charm even with all the craziness of Hollywood drive right outside the front door. The pool was a great relaxing spot even in the middle of December.

I've only been to the bars in the place, never stayed there overnight. Every bar in there has a good to excellent liquor selection, while some bars have better cocktail choices than others. If you're going there to just have some drinks, I Trevino going there on/between Tuesday and Thursday to avoid the biggest crowds.

Architecturally, a nice historical venue catering to the self-described "classier" clientelle of LA. Ageing lifts make for very slow and crowded journeys to and from your room however, and it was often quicker to take seven flights of stairs.

Staff are friendly and accommodating while the location is as central as you can get.

The Hotel Roosevelt was a great place to enjoy a cocktail after a long day of work. Though the bartender was not that knowledgeable in craft cocktails, she did her best to work with new and make something I wanted. They were holding a social event there so we couldn't stay very long. The place looked very classy and old timey so it felt like being in a 1920's movie. It almost reminded me of being in the tower of terror ride in Disneyland. Great place to have a pricey cocktail. I'd recommend this place as something to check out one time.

I really enjoyed the stay and the nostalgic experience. My experience with the staff is that they were very kind, understanding and accommodating. This meant a lot as I'm not use to boutique hotels and would normally stay at a posh Beverly Hills property. Staying here really has the feel of old Los Angeles.

The first room I was given (6th floor) was a big disappointment for several reasons. I was in horror getting off of the elevator and I'm sure it's no secret to hotel management that some additional renovations are required and I'm sure that makes their jobs a little more tough but Holly quickly relocated me to a room on the 12th floor which was so nice and comfortable. Note: this hotel allows pets, so if you're not a pet lover, sensitive to pet odors or have pet allergies you should let this be know before given a room assignment.

I would certainly stay here again. Room service was pretty good and fast. The 24 hour burger restaurant attached to the hotel boasts the best burger I've ever had in my life which is a big deal as I'm a cheeseburger connoisseur!

The pool cabana suites are where the fun is at though. If I returned I'd either stay on the 12th floor, in a specially suite or a cabana suite.

Great ammenities, extremely close to the airport and not incredibly expensive. Definitely would stay here again if I was in la again and would recommend to any of my friends looking for a great hotel to stay in if they came for a vacation here.

Breezed through the lobby on the way to "A Conversation with Jim Carrey and Jerry Saltz". The state of the hotel feels like they could have spent 25% more and had something really first rate.

The hour spent listening to Jim the activist and political cartoonist was wonderful. Roughly 400 of us in the audience got a one hour glimpse into his candid feelings and humanity. Bravo Jim!

I truly enjoyed this hotel. I like the classic look outside and the new renovated look inside. The staff all the way from the valet to the check-in desk people were very helpful and patient. The location is very near In and out hamburger restaurant which is always nice.
