My experience here is not astonishing one as this place lack the perfect ambiance but I am satisfied with the pool and my room was very spacious and neat. I will definitely give them one more chance in the future!!

Great atmosphere, classic design, and more hip bars and restaurants (of varying quality) than you can shake a stick at. The pool area is chill, especially at night. There's a bar right by the pool, which is nice. I didn't stay the night, just there for an event. The event and hotel staff were both polite and professional, especially considering the myriad of Hollywood personalities and tourists they have to deal with. If I have to go to Hollywood for an event, I always hope it's here.
I only stayed there once. In the floor above me construction work took place, which had led to considerable noise pollution, in addition, the cash register initially did not accept my credit card, which was not due to my creditworthiness, but on the phone, but had led to me in the middle of the night on the Wanted to put street. All in all, not a nice experience. However, the hotel is really a historic place, finally there took place in 1929, the first Academy Awards and in such a place you take some inconvenience in purchasing.
The Roosevelt Hotel is far as being an incredible piece of history and is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms obviously have been updated but they're still rather small. And as always make sure to bring your wallet!
Nice staff. They didn't have my room ready so I had to wait. They upgraded me and handed me two drink tickets. Rooms are small, clean and comfortable. Everything is additional charge water in room is $6-10. Internet is $15/day. You can cast Netflix, Hulu, etc. to the TV from your device, but only if you get the wifi.
Stopped for drinks with colleagues in the lobby bar. Lobby was spacious with high ceilings and comfortable couch seating options, but drinks were quite overpriced ($11 for a draft beer!)
A very pleasant and remarkable experience we had with this hotel. Everyone I met there was so cool, accommodating, and understanding. The amenities are good too, where I go to the gym at noon and swimming when around late afternoon. The breakfast has good choices and huge. I love always to stay here. Thank you very much!
My friend and I spent a week at your hotel and have nothing but praise! Everything was absolutely wonderful. We had a large, clean, spacious room with a small, standing room only balcony overlooking the street. What a nice place to relax! I can extremely recommend you to everyone. Good job! A big hand to all of you!
An iconic hotel. I could tell you everything about it, but it's best you just Google search it yourself, and find out different facts and opinions about the place.
Tropicana Cafe - charge account without allowing you to see your own bill! Additional charges included like hotel fee, gratuity and tax without prior notice. Cowboys!
Love this place I feel like I m in a vacation every time I stay here. Pool is awesome the vibe is even better I m a local so I appreciate it this spot very much.
The scene is nice and calm. The bartender was friendly and gave great advice . Since it was my first time there with a group of friends. The atmosphere is outgoing . It's a chill place to hangout and enjoy casual drinks with company.
Just AMAZING! Management and staff very friendly, accomodating, very well informed and professional! The hotel is so iconic, perfect. Thank you and we will definitely be back.
This Hotel is beautiful inside. Love the outdoor heating when you walk in. The security make me feel safe and they are friendly. If your golfing at the Wilshire Country Club this is the Hotel to stay at.
I have been there many times for events when I used to be in the music industry, and also when I was at a comedy event. The rooms bring you back, and it definitely has a historical vibe. Service is good, and room service is good too. Needless to say, I enjoyed it even more because I never paid for my own room. I'm sure I would've complained about prices had I been picking up the tab. However, having stayed at a few hotels in Hollywood, you definitely get what you pay for.
This place is by far one of our favorite hotels. We booked a garden room and it was so private and enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and really accommodating. The hotel vibe and feel was like we were in Palm Springs but in the middle of hollywood. This place is a true gem. The rooms and bed were very comfortable. The pool area was exceptional. We are hoping to spend our anniversary here every year. Such a treat with all the local bars, eateries and comedy clubs. Parking was pretty pricy so we opted to park across the street at the mall for $17.00 a day. We got 3 days for the price of 1.
Chose this hotel due to the glowing reviews. The best part of the hotel was the pool area and restaurant. Room was small, decor nothing special. Bathroom tiny. I appreciate that it's an old hotel so size of rooms reflected by that.
Soooo I haven't google in a while so my cred' game might be weak but I do know I try to be as bias and give the benefit of doubt. I've been to really high end places to hole in the wall places with better ettiquette than The Hollywood Roosevelt.
The view was amazing, the room was clean, I enjoyed the antique feel, and the luxury of the tv and bed. Only thing that was a bummer was parking, and no free Wi-Fi. It's 2017, wifi should be free everywhere. 4/5 due to wifi and the spooky haunted feeling I got in the elevator!
The room are quite expensive but if you just wanna sit at the bar that's alright the lobby is really big it has this ambiance of old Hollywood very comfortable sofas comfortable and the light is low enough to cover your indescretion a real classy palce from Hollywood past people that hang out are usually respectible and quiet.
The room we were given at the beginning was sad, very small and with noise from the outside air conditioning machines (we paid $ 300 per night). We complained and they exchanged us for a suite at the same price, so in the end we could enjoy the stay.
Poolside and some fabulous snacks. Drinks a little pricey. And by a little pricey we mean a lot. And it's gotten a little touristy since our last visit. But a great way to holiday relax.
We went there for the spare room which had two spare rooms. We rented it out ahead of time for two hours and had service brought drinks there. We also had a nice room on the 12th floor and visited the heated pool at night.
The lobby is beautiful, well mixed cocktails served quickly - on the pricey side - but its to be expected in such a beautiful hotel. We had a great night in the bowling alley and bar upstairs and will definitely be back on future trips to the hotel
