Amazing view (on the volcano), close on foot to the wonderful little town, upscale hotel (very comfortable beds;)), nice service. I recommend evening walk to the town where you can find romantic restaurants with delicious food. In my opinion, the best place to spend an unforgettable holiday

I'm really not sure what to make of this place. In photos it looks better then it really is. The general facility is beautiful, but the rooms are nothing special. Outdated moldy smelling bathrooms. Service ranks from fair to very good. Concierge services are not the best compared to other hotels I stayed at in Italy. The Hotel nickle and dimes you for a lot of things. No free WiFi in the room. There are better and more convenient places to stay in Sorrento.

One of the largest property in the area. Rooms are nice and clean. However the staff are very rude. Also they don t really honor diamond status. Loved the pool. Would avoid the restaurant onsite. Nothing fancy and overpriced. I think you are paying for the view but if you have a room with the same side, walk to the center.

1. Despite the note left in the bathroom to spear the water and energy, ALL the towels were changed (even those left on the hook) dayly. This was hypocrisy...
2. The water temperature couldn't be adjusted and it was quite hot...

Beautiful hotel!!!....Dinner was excellent with the ambiance and our head server Guiseppe who made every evening at dinner special.
Now....the horrible
For 2 months going back and forth with a confirmation for an amalfi coast boat ride on the morning of our boat tour they said sorry no. Now, I was very upset....then we waited while they worked on a solution...they came back and said we have it all figured out!!....I hugged the reception staff because this was the main event for me on our 2 week vacation and we had already taken our anti-nausea medicine....turns out the cab driver dropped us off in positano with our towels etc and told us to go shopping!!!!....What a horrible day.....we only had 2 full days to spend in Sorrento.....they did nothing to make up for this. Then we found out they gave our boat tour to 4 women who had no reservations....obviously it was our tour......So be very wary.....they also charged our credit card for the tour and the refund took 2 weeks!!!...ridiculous!! I will not return nor will I trust them with booking any tours!

3 stars for the view. The restaurant is terribly overpriced for what you get, just walk the 15m down town for much better and cheaper options. Avoid taking the overpriced taxis if you can, just walk.

Used all my Hilton points after a few years of business travel to secure an executive suite with an ocean view. The hotel is situated a km from the ocean above the historic part of Sorrento, high enough so you have a fantastic view of the city and the bay, cliffs, and mountainside. Easily walkable, depending on how heavy your luggage is, from the ferry (use the lift/elevator!) or the train station. The executive lounge with the private deck and short infinity pool was the perfect way to wait for our room to be ready (we showed up at 10:30 AM, a touch before 3 o'clock check in). We enjoyed a few cappuccinos and light snacks, some water, lazed in the sun, had some wine, all complimentary with the room. Our room was newly renovated, modern and simple but very nice. Separate shower and large bath, large closets, small fridge, safe, TV, etc. There is a larger pool that all guests can access that is more appropriate for swimming and children, multiple restaurants and a bar if I'm not mistaken. The staff speak English well and have been very courteous and professional. No complaints regarding any aspect of my stay.

Poor breakfast and poorly stocked. At the request "I can have a mandarin" the answer was ... "we have no more".
Wi-fi in the room for a fee. Inadequate room temperature (cold).
Small improvements are needed

One of the most renowned hotels in the world. Excellent waiters and fabulous buffet service. All employees in uniform, beautiful and clean, always with a smile on their face. You can eat very well in the restaurant in the hotel. The rooms are all beautiful and maintain international standards.

As a regular at the Settimo Club of the Hilton, I noticed a drop in level.
The breakfast is not really convincing. Coffee, for example, deserves better than an old machine ...
And the food is quite limited, from breakfast to all day for that matter ....
The swimming pool is starting to age, as well as its surroundings.
No service around the pool either.
The aperitif ends at 8 p.m. Much too early.
We are asked to leave the swimming pool at 6 p.m. Why?
All this to say that the additional services of the Settimo are not up to the price that one has to add to stay there.
On the other hand, the rooms of the 5th and going together with the Settimo are very beautiful.
A bottle of water in the bedrooms would not be too much, for example.
In summary, the services for the Settimo are to be honestly reviewed.

This property looks incredible, all marble and artwork/sculptures that is top of the line. Food is very good the pool is also nice, indoor grotto was not very hot at all. Only downside of my experince at this hilton is the lack of customer service that doesnt feel like your pulling teeth to get. I was here for 2 nights and maybe saw one smile, everyone seems to just be busy and doing the bare minimum. Noone went out of their way like the other hotels i stayed at in italy. Would recommend if you dont care about customer service and just want a beautiful property and room.

Ummm...Palace? No. We were extremely disappointed with this hotel. I have stayed in efficiency 3 star hotels with higher quality accommodations.

When we asked for two different rooms, their attempt to address our concerns was to offer us two worse rooms. We politely declined.

The lobby is gorgeous. The public spaces are pretty. The website has some beautiful photos. Do not stay here.

My wife, son and I booked two rooms. Both were embarrassing. These are supposedly their newly remodeled rooms. Please see the photos. The doorknob is falling off the door. The key card security system is falling off the wall and the porch looks at nothing but a bunch of chipping paint. There is no closet. If you would like to hang your clothing on a hanger, please be prepared to stare at it on an open rack night and day. The security safe is from the 1980 s and required a key.

On top of that, our stay started with a visit from maintenance to repair the blinds which would not close, followed by the maintenance man leaving and locking us out of the room.

The air conditioning did not work in one of the rooms for two days.

We have stayed at many hotels in the last few years. A small issue now and then is fine and easily forgivable. It is rare that I am so surprised by the failure of a hotel. Here, I was surprised.

For the price, there are easily twenty hotels to better suit your needs. I recommend you look elsewhere.

Note: This place is outside of town. Be prepared to take a long walk or a taxi anytime you would like go to get lunch or dinner.

Typical hotel for US clientele. Rooms with minimalist decoration. Spacious and nice. In general, good facilities. The breakfast, very fair in quality and variety for a hotel of its category. The fair value / quality ratio.

Very 70's but .... super space with style. Somewhat worn in some rooms. Tip ..... ask for a nice room when booking.
Good food and the pool area ... but you quickly savor the food here, and then it is better to eat at some of the small cozy restaurants in the city center which is very affordable with fantastic food.
Located one piece up the pedestrian street, but walked there in 7-8 min from the hotel.
Fantastic park facilities in the hotel that I only discovered after 2 days.

Nice location and room. Walls are super thin and we could hear everything going on in the next room. Service at the hotel restaurants were mediocre. Front counter representatives were very helpful and nice.

Breakfast was good, everything else was terrible. Not a Hilton standard. The staff was mostly arrogant and rude. Location was awful, unless you like going up and down on hills. We've came with a large group and all I heard was complaints. Not coming back.

Been here two days now. Service is terrible in all the bars and restaurants. Very surprising as we stay in Hilton Hotels quite often in the US. A waiter just came up to us at the pool bar and took my wife's water away. I just went to the bar and got it myself. He stated there was a family with a dog here earlier and he thought it was the dog's water. Incedently, dogs are not allowed here. (We have seen four dogs since we checked in). I don't understand the lack of courtesy and professionalism.
