Hilton Sorrento Palace Review

Amazing experience, great room and fantastic service

Good hotel for a seminar, a bit old but ideally located on the heights of Sorrento quiet but close to the center.

Great property both to stay and for conferences. Well maintained and with excellent location and view of the gulf.

For attending conferences this hotel is perfect. It has a big auditorium, plenty of conference rooms and good air conditioning. The breakfast was adequate with a nice view over Mount Vesuvius, the garden/restaurant area was spectacular, specially in the evening. The views from the rooms on the front side of the hotel was pretty nice, overlooking the valley of Sorrento and Mount Vesuvio. For a northerner not used to the heat, the air conditioning in the whole of the hotel was appreciated. All in all I had a really good stay here. Might have chosen a bit more of a pitoresque place to stay if I traveled for holiday, but I can recommend it for business trips.

Nothing to say if, the beautiful structure, the pool is a dream, like everything else.

Had a lovely sea view suite on 4th floor. Executive lounge is a must and offers undisturbed views of the bay of Naples, whilst providing all day refreshments. Garden restaurant is a beautiful setting, whilst the food is above average, there are many better places to eat in Sorrento. Unless you want and enjoy a noisy people watching experience with your dinner the the Terrace restaurant is best avoided. Staff have been first class all around the hotel, which for me always signals great leadership by hotel manager as Hilton experience can vary widely. Overall a very enjoyable 7 night stay.

Hotel with 90% English guests. High price with tip already included. Large outdoor pool. Poolside bar service with little staff. Efficient and kind reception.

Beautiful place, for heaven's sake, though ...

... when you pay 14 for a grappa and an amaro, and you ask:
"But are we in Capri?"
..and they answer you:
"No, it's the Hilton of Sorrento ..."

In my opinion it is a unique hotel of its kind in fact this is the 11th consecutive year that I spend my summer holidays here. Not to mention the excellent cleanliness of the rooms and other areas reserved for customers. In my opinion it's not just a 4-star hotel but a 5-star hotel especially after they do some minor renovations.

Perfect hotel but above all the hotel restaurant I would say superlative as food, courtesy of staff and fair prices! Well done !!

Executive rooms are perfect, amazing view and the executive longue is perfect for relaxing after a hard day of traveling (Tough life). Everything is taken care of. Downstairs is So romantic in the restaurant with the sax player, the staff are amazing. Giuseppe is the best. Thank you. Oh yeah a short 10 - 15 walk from all the action.

Fantastic hotel just behind the city center. Rooms are big, clean and some of them has a nice sea view on the Vesuvio. Breakfast provided by the hotel is very good. Recommended

I had expected much better services and much better room facilities. The hotel is overrated for what they offer.

We expected more from the Hilton brand, the staff wasn t welcoming and rude at times. Breakfast was good until our last meal when the eggs were like mushy grit. Overall experience was lacking and would look elsewhere on our next trip.

Spent a few days here on a short holiday in mid-February, 2017. The entire staff was exceptional; especially Giuseppe, Gennaro, Pina, Daniela. Will definitely return for a future holiday.

Excellent hotel in a strategic position to spend time in Sorrento

International event venue CINEMA DAYS has been around for decades, offering participants all the charm and potential of the hotel

The hotel has really huge spaces available, looking carefully you can see elements from the 70s / 80s in the whole structure, but which on the whole do not clash. The staff is very kind and helpful. We are also on cleanliness. Large rooms and bathrooms, not particularly refined in manufacture and sometimes outdated. Spectacular view of the hotel ... especially from the seventh floor! Rich and varied breakfast.

Excellent staff. Gorgeous room. Great location. I was able to get a private driver in a brand new Mercedes for $300usd for 8 hour's for the almafi coast.

Service exelent.Rooms a bit sparsely furnished. Without wardrobe and pictures. Pool area was great.

The structure is equipped with all the comforts and the qualified and available staff.

Amazing views if facing mount V. Also diamond status members get access to the amazing views and a great executive lounge including infinity pool. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent spot over the whole bay. Giant room, perfect service, perfect breakfast. No cons, actually. Highly recommend if you can afford it.

Wonderful vistas, beautiful grounds, gardens and pools.

Hotel nicely located. Ca. 10 minutes walk to the center. Excellent swimming pool. It is a shame that some of the staff are unfriendly and uninterested in the guests. The Japanese restaurant is nice but dying expensive. Party in the garden was well cared for. And very strange that if you watch the football World Cup inside, the pianist keeps playing and the sound of the TV is turned off. Breakfast is adequate but from a Hilton hotel I expect more than sweetly made orange juice. A pre was the whipped cream with the fruit!

I had a horrible experience at the Waldorf Astoria Rome and was worried about Hilton properties in Italy, upon arriving here all my worries were forgotten. A stunning property with service to match.

Ive been here 2 times! Great hotel! A little out dated, could use some refreshments! But Still one of the best in the area! sorrento is offcourse a good spot to explore the rest of the amalfi coast! This is a good hotel, good food, good relaxing areas!

I was lucky enough to stay from 11th to 13th October 2019 in this wonderful hotel ... beautiful, huge and brand new suite ... The citrus grove where I had lunch has bewitched me ... thanks to the sun and the beautiful days. Thanks to Pina from the very kind and very nice reception and to the friendly and helpful waiters. I'll be back

Very nice hotel ... very complete ... but the location is not very comfortable.

This is a lovely hotel on the hills overlooking Sorrento. The pools and rooms are nice. A bartender at the poolside bar, her name will not be mentioned, needs a lesson in hospitality. She is very mean. The Hilton needs satellite service. These two small items would not stop me from staying again if I was ever given the chance to travel thousands of miles to Italy again.

Beautiful property with incredible views! Our room was simple and modern with a balcony and amazing view. The executive lounge was one of my favorites I have ever experienced as it offered an excellent selection and views. The hotel restaurant was delicious and we enjoyed some of our favorite pizza there. Staff was kind and helpful throughout, and the location is a quick walk to many restaurants and shops in the city.

Hilton Sorrento Palace made my vacation unforgettable, the staff was super attentive, they really cared to make us feel comfortable, spacious and clean rooms, the restaurant overlooking the Vesuvius is impressive, and the hotel is very close to the train station train.

Disappointed enough for a hotel in the category of palaces. While there is indoor and outdoor pool, conference room, the exteriors are neat, the rooms when to it do not deserve 5 stars.

Fabulous hotel with attention to details. Rooms are up to date and the bedding is luxurious. Views on the ocean side are spectacular. Only issue is that the pool bar closes at 6pm and the pool closes at 7pm. The Garden restaurant was fantastic as was the main level restaurant and breakfast buffet.

Wonderful hotel, panoramic terraces where the gaze is lost. Eat in the garden in the shade of citrus trees. Beautiful room with a Hilton mattress where you wouldn't want to get up anymore.

Gorgeous public spaces and the rooms are nice too. The staff is fairly friendly and the food is about as good as you d expect of any decent hotel.

The walls are very thin so be prepared to hear everyone on your hall. If you have any problems, be prepared to be rebuffed and discouraged.

The hotel is out of the way so it s not great for sightseeing or going out.

This hotel is 5 stars all the way! The Sorrento restaurant inside was amazing.. so much that we are there 2 nights in a row.
Franco the service is a true example of a professional, attentive to our every need, what silverware we will need for the next course, offering to have the kitchen split our appetizers so we could try more items from this amazing Chef Valentino.. Thank you Franco and Chef!!
I was a Chef for 14 years and I was as blown away both nights with the food and service. This is NOT your typical hotel restaurant, but something worthy of a Michelin star

We just arrived at this property and have had an excellent first impression! Bright and modern, the property is first class. The restaurant stayed open for us even when we checked in just as lunch was ending. More to come as our stay continues!

When I got to the hotel- I was so relieved!! It is absolutely beautiful. It's clean, classy and professional. Staff are polite and helpful and it's 5 star all the way. Room service is nice and so is breakfast with the fresh crepes and waffles. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. I'm a very happy customer! Will 100% stay again when in Sorrento.

Definitely recommended pro: rooms are large, comfortable and quiet. High quality in every detail. Amazing view Cons: the service in the various restaurants is different. The one near the reception is not up to Hilton standards in my opinion, despite the very good quality of the meal.
