Worst hotel in the world!! Absolutely disgusting and disrespectful. No sense of guest services at all. Charged me $3 for bringing plates to my room. Super racist and xenophobic staff. Besides the treatment the hotel it self below average. Extremely old rooms and no privacy at all. Please don't visit this hotel what so ever, you won't enjoy your stay.

Very disappointed in this hotel. I had a business trip that was canceled within their 48 hour window due to an illness, and they still charged me for the room. Our company uses them every time people travel in (which is QUITE a bit), so it's incredibly disappointing they let a rigid policy stand in the way of great customer service. I told the phone agent I wouldn't stay at the hotel in the future bc of this poor customer service and it didn't even phase her.

This is the first time I ve been to a hotel where there is no microwave available anywhere in the hotel. We had ordered our children s favorite dishes as takeout from the Cheesecake factory the night before, and wanted to heat them up for their lunch after the kids played in the pool all morning. But even the dining room said they wouldn t heat our children s food.
Also, we love jacuzzis and this was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. But it was broken...on memorial day weekend...and wouldn t be fixed during our stay.
Otherwise we enjoyed the hotel, and overall the staff is friendly and professional, but these two issues were a disappointment.

The location leaves much to be desired; it is near a highway with nothing much around except the Short Hills Mall across the street. The interior is rather nice so depending on the purpose of your stay you may like this location in the middle of nowhere.

Service was great and room was nice. Noise near my room was a slight problem. Did not complain as the noises from the room next to me was just standard conversation so sound passes through a bit too easy. All in all though it was a decent stay.

We usually thoroughly enjoy a quick weekend away at Hilton Short Hills. While the hotel is still nice, the indoor pool relaxing and the staff rriendly and attentive, this weekend for the first time we had slight disappointment. The breakfast cold buffet has been changed to a small choice. Not a big deal but annoying to have to ask for or choose a bowl of cereal or a toasted bagel. Or a plate of fruit.
Other than that we enjoyed our weekend. We go here a few times a year just to get away and relax.

My stay here away the Hilton Short Hills in NJ has been nothing short of inconvenient, unprofessional, humiliating, and almost humorous in how unreal it is. I had made reservations for a wedding I was a part of a month ago. I drove 4 hours in traffic only to find out that the hotel was completely booked and had no room for me. I had to wait 25 minutes for a room to somehow become available, and once it was I was instructed to go pick up my luggage and wedding gift from concierge. I walked the 5 steps from the front desk and spoke to the woman, noting my luggage cart behind her. She asked for my name, then asked for the name of the bridal party before handing me my wedding gift basket. I then asked if I could get my luggage. She asked for my ticket, something I did not receive from the gentleman that helped me get my several pieces of luggage from the car. He had taken the cart in for me as I went to park my car because I explained that the front desk said it would take some time to find a room for me, and he told me he would leave it in the lobby for me. At no point did he mention I needed any kind of ticket to be able to pick it up. She then proceeded to tell me that I had to prove the luggage was mine by opening every single bag (I had 7 bags) and tell her what was in it before opening it. She made me do this right there at her desk where a queue was forming. It was humiliating to expose my personal belongings and feminine products in the lobby of the hotel. Another gentleman that assisted with luggage came over and she asked him if the luggage was ours. Now, this gentleman had never interacted with us before. And he told her yes, it was ours. And that was sufficient for her. I was floored. She just accepted his word no problem because he worked there but not me, obviously the owner as I knew what was in every bag. At this point I was just embarrassed and tired and wanted to get to my room. The same gentleman escorted us to our room, I unlocked the door, and low and behold, it was already occupied! Another person's backpack, luggage and clothes were in the room. I was half expecting someone to walk out of the bathroom. What would have happened if the person was in there? We were asked to step out into the hallway for several minutes while the gentleman was inside the room (presumably talking to the front desk to figure out what to do with us). We finally get escorted to another room and all seems fine. I ask the gentleman how this happened and he said the hotel doesn't know when a room is empty or not (is that not the job of a hotel? To know when and what rooms have people in them? Seriously?) and when I asked how to ensure my room was never accidentally given to someone else, he just shrugged and smiled. Oh, that's reassuring. The thought of someone else accidentally being given access to my room (outside of housekeeping), with all of my belongings in there, is beyond unsettling. I would bet money they never mentioned this to the person whose room was given to us for those brief 5 minutes. I don't believe anyone ever asked him if he was ready to leave. The night goes on and I go to take a shower. There is hair (head and pubic) in the shower/bath. Seeing as I have yet to actually shower there is no way it could be mine. Gross. I call the front desk and have them send up housekeeping to clean my bathroom, but now I'm concerned that nothing in my room is actually clean. And at this point it is close to midnight and I just want to sleep. But I am so frustrated at the complete mess this hotel has been and how things have been so incompetently handled. I thought this was supposed to be a Hilton, a high class establishment. I would expect this behavior from a random motel on the side of an empty road, but for the money I am paying to be here I am extremely dissatisfied, disappointed, and I would never recommend a Hilton to anyone.

Being hhonors diamond vip and vip for years I never thought a hilton could serve as bad as this did. They look for an opportunity to nickel and dime. Because I did not bother to see my rate due to years of trust they billed me higher than next room and when confronted they just made circles going from one manager to the other. I raised the issue with hhonors but I was face to face with reality. Hhonors staff communicated like minimum wage reluctant employees. Decided to take my loyalty some where else.

UPDATE: After owners response to my review, I gave a chance to call the front desk manager. Awful snarky response from the front desk manager, proving her point for 10 minutes on the phone without letting me explain or talk. WOW! If you are a manager and have ZERO customer service skills than you should not been working as a manager. At this point I am dropping the case of back and forth with this establishment because they are not worth it. PLEASE LOOK ELSE WHERE TO STAY!!!

Had to wait at the front desk for 10 minutes by the time the agent noticed me. She wasn t busy, just staring into the computer for nothing. No bottled water was given to Hilton honored member.
OVERPRICED FOR ITS VALUE. Horrible staff, unprofessional and unpleasant stay.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHITY ESTABLISHMENT.
Uncomfortable night of sleep. Beds are hard.
NEVER AGAIN. ANNOYED AND DISAPPOINTED. REGRET IVE CHOSE THIS HOTEL.

Never buy a Hilton Gift Card. I had a $500 card which when trying to use it was told that there is no money on it! The manager and finance director contacted me, but did not resolve. Still had to dish out another $500 out of pocket on my regular credit card!
Customer service is lousy with no response to resolve the matter. I had to reject payment from my credit card for them to respond to me!
2 months and still not resolved!! Stay at a Marriot, much better customer service for sure!

Rooms are average fun the carpet point of view. Bed, other amenities are excellent. Meeting rooms are functional and convenient for the areas industry. Love the parking facilities which is both converted and open. Very professional and helpful staff.

Comfortable hotel with nice amenities. I stay mostly because it is walking distance to my company's HQ. The staff is excellent and the decor and restaurants outstanding. My only complaint is that my allergies act up in the rooms.

Loved the new and beautiful rooftop lounge! It isn't quite on the rooftop, but rather off the side of their indoor bar, but it is beautifully set up and great for a group of colleagues or friends to have drinks together.

The table welcomes us with champagne, delicious snacks and truffles in the room, and comfortable sheets and pillows for a good night's sleep. I am really satisfied with my stay. I will live longer next time.

Good hotel and amenities. We were told breakfast was included but then got charged extra because went to the buffet. No one bothered to inform us beforehand that part of the breakfast wasn't part of what was "included".
