Hilton Short Hills Review

Construction woke us Up early morning with headaches...no no...

solid hotel. gym could be better/bigger. pool is nice. breakfast at restaurant was excellent. rooms are nice, though despite being a non-smoking hotel, I definitetly detected 3rd hand smoke in the couch in our suite (326).

Great hospitality from everyone we encountered during our weekend stay.

Attended a half day conference. Water coffee and cookies were good.

Went to visit a friend. We hung out in the bar. The drinks and food were great and so was the service. This is the second time I have been there. Both time were excellent

Was there for only one night but nice sized rooms and free coffee in the morning

Attended a 3 day conference there. Very nicely decorated hotel... free parking was a delightful surprise. I did not stay over so I can't comment on the sleep rooms. The meeting room was light, and comfortably. There was also outside seating during breaks. The restroom was the cleanest, well kept I've seen. I also enjoyed the food served to us during the lunch and reception provided by the host. I felt this venue was a step above others that I've been to for similar small business meetings.

Room was clean but there was dust behind the TV stand and dresser. No microwave in the room or on the premises.
The website advertised their spa but when we called to make an appointment we were informed that the spa was closed since May and that it was permanently closed. 4 months is enough time to update the website.
The only bright spot was the young lady who helped us out at the restaurant.

The bar closed early. The restaurant was very expensive. The mall across the street is very convenient. The rooms were clean

The hotel is very good, its the only hotel in short Hills so it's little expensive, however is located in good location, its quite and thats what i like about the place. They have open restaurant behind the hotel facing the forest and a dine-in as well. Also they have a very good bar with nice sides if you like eating when you drink. The rooms are very spacious and bathrooms are kept clean. They change the sheets every 3rd day. They have a small store if you like to have chips, water, soda or chocolates. They also have use and throw shaving blade. They don't have anything in the fridge kept in the room, so your best chance is to buy from their store. Also if you don't want to have food from the hotel, there is a Mall right across the street, you will find some good food options there.

My company is hosting a large event in the main ballroom and as a result I'm staying the night here at the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The event space has been very attentive and professional.

This Hilton needs a make over. The staff has no moral. I hear the rooms are only okay. This used to be a 5 star property.
