VERY DISAPPOINTED!

VERY DISAPPOINTED!
We have stayed in this hotel on October 22nd, 2018. The hotel is way below Hilton standards; the room carpet is dirty, after you take a shower the water will drain in the next 15 minutes. The carpet in hallway is beyond the dirty status.
This is the only Hilton what I visit so far that offer only continental breakfest to Hilton Diamond members.
For Hilton Corporation to keep a god Hilton Standard, will be better to change this hotel name to a Hampton Inn, this hotel will not qualify not even for Hilton Garden standards.

I had terrible terrible customer service when booking my room. I had to call the hotel three different times and was disrespected and hung up on from their call center. Checking in upon arrival was smooth and the restaurant had good food. The staff in there was great as well.

Everything is pretty nice! This is a good stay. I think resort feels like an overstatement? But the rooms were nice and clean. Solid 4 star. The gym was open till 9p and is across the street. Pretty inconvenient in my opinion. (And I had no less than 4 people remind me they were closing soon when I tried to go at 8:10p.) The outdoor seating area is nice w great views. Lots of outdoor stuff for kids/warm fires. Front desk and restaurant staff were nice. There is a very very strong fragrance smell in the lobby that is enough to prevent me from returning. It threatens to give me a migraine every time I walk thru! I find myself holding my breath....

Exceeded expectations. Great location, friendly staff, room was nice, and great amenities. The sauna is well worth resort fee. Most of all the staff was very accommodative. All staffing from front desk, restaurant, to the cleaning crew said hi with a smile and cared about our experience. Eric at the front desk went above and beyond a couple times. I highly recommend this location if visiting Sedona.

Checked into room 1086 and it smells disgusting. Went to the pool next to find out they had no towels left. The pool is supposed heated but it was so chilly. Had to go back to the room to grab them and then cart them back to room. Was not expecting this kind of treatment for a Hilton diamond member. Beyond belief!

We did the spa day pass because we are traveling around in our sprinter van and spent the entire morning hiking, biking and sweating, and needed a place to shower. For $20pp it was an incredible deal and a wonderfully relaxing experience. We jumped in the pool, soaked in the outdoor jacuzzi, lounged in the sauna and thoroughly enjoyed the showers. Super clean, beautiful scenery, kind workers, it the BEST spa deal in Sedona! Perfect for bikers, hikers, travelers, couples and families:)

The hotel was very comfortable as beautiful. It had beautiful views of the Sedona red rocks. I didn't give this hotel a 5 because every single pool had more than one chair lift at the pool side which made it feel less like a resort. Also the locker rooms had carpet which smelled a little musty.

We stayed here for one night- Arrived on a week day about 4pm-- went to pool Bar for a bit and had excellent service, This hotel is very pretty and nice-- the staff is top notch all over the property.
We had a very relaxing early dinner with great food. We highly suggest this soothing, quiet hotel!!!

Good place to stay. Pools are really cool. Nice layout . Rooms are clean and new. Suite layout ok. Hotel elevators too spread out. Employees use main elevators to much should have their own. Construction going main elevator made things difficult to carry things up stairs. WiFi was terrible . TV kept losing signal. Breakfast service was good. Has outside patio with heaters. Kids eat free! $20 breakfast bar for adults was ok. Ok stay nothing too exciting.

I've stayed many Hilton properties and this property is very tired and not being maintained well at all... Given the recent events of pandemic and hotels should be extremly clean and sanitary for guests.. our bathroom and shower smelled of mold and found black surface mold growing all around pan liner and walls.. very disappointed Gold member

Most of the hotel staff are awesome, but the breakfast group just sucks. We where totally forgot about and they where mostly talking to themselves. The last part is power went out, not there fault it just hard to do anything or have any type of service. The huge disappointment with staff at breakfast.

We were really pleased with this location. The rooms had small kitchenette and fireplaces with small patios to sit outside and enjoy view. Restaurant for dinner and drinks and breakfast was very tasty and everyone friendly and helpful.

We stayed in one of the recently renovated suites and it was great. The fireplace was a nice addition during our December stay. Large pool area with a hot tub and accessibility features for those with disabilities. The interior design in the lobby was pretty spectacular, with modern, Southwestern decor. Service was great. The bar seemed a little dated, but the heavy pours more than compensated for the aesthetics.

Very nice location and beautiful hotel. You can see the rock formations from the hotel, short distance to amenities and restaurant/bar/Starbucks on site we're all good. Pools were nice and lots of kids activities.

Beautiful venue for conferences and workshops. Friendly staff and wonderful hotel layout. The restaurant has delicious food and wonderful wine selections.

The rooms are beautiful and the one I stayed in had a fridge, fireplace and balcony. Some of the pictures I've posted are from the balcony of the room I stayed in.

The hotel is in the magical town of Sedona and there are many restaurants and bakeries within walking distance. Worth checking out!

The stay was o-k but definitely not what I expected for a resort. Some things I want to highlight: Shelby at the front desk had a terrible attitude during our checkout. We opted for the green and she would not credit us, claiming we had to tell them from the beginning. Really? can't you see in your logs that we never had housekeeping come in. Or forget that what about that what about just giving us the credit for being diamond members, nope. Our credit for our breakfast was not added for our last day. The breakfast was overpriced and comparable to a motel 8. One of the only 2 dryers was down, that was a lot of fun. The only good thing they have is Jesus, he was awesome!

Very nice facility and amenities. Unfortunately, not enough staff available, and customer service training is needed here. Out of 8 employees that we interacted with, only 3 know the true meaning of customer service.

Edit: Saw previous post. My kids did NOT eat free, and I'm a HH Diamond member. Over 150 hotel stays/yr. Stayed here on points.

Also, had to wait for 7am same day to get late checkout and gave me till noon - one extra hour 'complimentary!' like they were bending backwards for me.

WiFi was terrible! Agree with previous comments.

Breakfast is very expensive. Be prepared to spend $50+ if you don't have HH points/status on family of 4.

Serve coffee without spoons in their silverware setups? Very very odd. Then have to wait for wait staff for a spoon.

Put free coffee out in main lobby, but wait till 6:30am to do so? I was on Eastern time zone, up at 5am, woman at concierge desk was 'put out' that I even bothered her to ask what time coffee was offered.

Erik at the front desk was fantastic. I was not feeling good coming into this trip, but I arrive to the hotel and he completely changed my attitude and made me very happy to be staying in Sedona. and he's tough times, it was refreshing to have someone like and who still cares about the guest experience. He is also very knowledgeable and gives the best directions.

Arelli at the restaurant was very helpful as well. I am looking forward to returning to hotel as soon as possible

Our family of 4 (2 adults & 2 kids) stayed at this place for 4 night and super enjoyed everything about the hotel. Super clean rooms, friendly staff and it was also both relaxing as well as entertaining.

Lovely hotel and location. I would have easily given 4-5 stars if they hadn't stolen my things. I was absentminded enough to leave behind everything I hung in the closet. Totally my fault! I felt really stupid about it. Happy to pay whatever for them to send me the purse, 2 belts, and 2 sweaters. I was told that housekeeping was a seperate area and I would need to file a detailed claim. Okay, no problem. Not a single item was found. No one reported my closet full of items to the front desk and no one ever intended to return what I'd left behind. I can only assume that someone took it. I feel so foolish and also angry. The front desk person basically told me that they couldn't call me for leaving items behind, because they could be items from the next guest in the room. What does that even mean?! I can never go back. Don't make the same mistake I did.

This hotel offers spectacular views outside of your windows and from your decks. I recommend asking for a room on the third floor for clearer photo opportunities not obscured by trees. Lying just south of Sedona, this hotel offers many amenities that the younger customers will enjoy, such as exercise areas, classes, and the like. However, for us older folks, I was expecting a newspaper by the door every day and was disappointed not to see one. The shower heads are of average height, so tall people will need to do a bit of Pilates to wash all of your parts. Glass shower doors, in our room anyway, leaked water so have a towel on the floor while in there. Beds are comfortable although softer than what we would have liked. Additional blankets are kept in closets. Automatic fireplaces have a timer to them, but it wasn't long enough for us. Gift shop was under construction at the time, so we drove to supermarket within two miles and purchased things there. Room safe was standard size and a nice touch. Coffeemaker in room but it was not a Keurig, so that was disappointing. Restaurant lunch was very good; breakfasts are offered but we did not take advantage of them. It would have been nice had the employees been dressed more like Hilton employees instead of wearing jeans so that we could distinguish between employees and guests. Also, the use of our name at any time by any employee would have been welcomed and would have impressed us, but it was not meant to be.

Rooms are decent, but not what I was expecting for the $350 per night price tag. Everything is outdated. I was 104 degree on the day we stayed, and we went to pool and they only had a hand full of umbrellas available. So many people could not find any shade to get out of the sun. The Eforia spa looks like it hasn't been updated since the 90s and the locker room were very moldy smelling. We went the Eforia pool hoping to find lounge chairs with umbrellas to sit under and again were let down. There was only five people at the pool and only five umbrellas. Won't be coming back.

Lovely staff allround from reception to pool side to the restaurant. Fabulous suite with a fireplace. Restaurant had a great athmosphere with live singer and table heaters- good food and minor issue was sorted quickly.

Excellent location, restaurant, landscaping, and the staff from the front desk to housekeeping I give a 5 star rating. We were there for six days over Christmas 2019 and we loved every minute of our stay.

Can someone please explain to me how this is considered a luxury hotel and why their prices are outrageous? Honestly believe this is more of a 2.5-3 star hotel. It s pretty old, rooms are small, layout of the hotel is outdated and inconvenient, the towels are rough... there is nothing luxury or even above average. They don t even have complimentary breakfast, or coffee, or a banana for crying out loud.

The recent bad reviews are piling up for this property. Where they got a 4 Star hotel rating is beyond me. Old and outdated room hides the poor service. There was dog pooh on the walking trails for days, beer cans, dirty towels and food on the floors and pool area all day. I will no longer consider my Hilton Honors points for luxury accommodations. There is no such thing in the Hilton System

Pleasantly surprised. The grounds are beautiful with contrasting colors against the landscape. The staff was very friendly especially our pool waiter, Carlos? (Can't remember his name). The breakfast was great. The facial at the spa turned out to be one of my best. I initially wasn't impressed but the following week, I noticed a lasting brightness as she said I would. The massage I recieved was misleading in its description but the therapist was very pleasant and accommodating. My friends were disappointed that the adult pool was full of young children. Turns out that they are allowed if accompanied by a parent. The suite rooms were spacious. Overall, I would return.

My experience here was good and the views were beautiful, however what put it over the top and really made a difference for me was their gym! I m an active cross-fitter and not only did that have your typical gym they had all the equipment you would find in your regular crossfit gym. It made keeping up with my workout routine extremely easy.

Fantastic hotel. Great pool, gym and facilities. Very clean rooms, friendly staff and excellent covid compliance. Only slight downside was the breakfast. Very overpriced and not great quality, very slow and poor selection. IMO they should stop doing the breakfast packages until it is safe to have the usual excellent hilton standard again

Awful! My interactions with all staff (aside from the Starbucks barista) was severely lacking in the customer service dept. There were cigarette butts in the pool, I called to notify staff and in return was hung up on. I made 2 other staff aware and their lack of concern was apparent. The bed and views were amazing - I would never recommend this place to anyone.

It is an OK Hotel, nothing special.

Great location and friendly personnel.
Room not so clean, there is a chicken without any cups/plates/forks.
A small bottle of water as welcome would have been very appreciated.
Wireless is something unbelievable bad.

We arrived at 10 PM and checked out at 10 AM the following morning and the cost of our room was $500. There could have been a rate for short stays and without the resort fee. I will not use this hotel again nor will I place any of my clients here either.

Excellent experience, great rooms, wonderful bed and pillows. Loved the balcony as we soaked up the sun after traveling from the cold snowy north. Spacious room with fireplace that's quiet and peaceful.

It was not the nicest decor and for the price I was very dissatisfied with how cheap it looks I've stayed in La Quinta with nicer furniture and decor in it and you get breakfast with that stay This Hilton was a huge let down and will let all know and we won't stay there again I even took pics of the furniture with marks on it. Worst Valentine's day wasted at a Hilton

A whim brought us to this resort in the middle of a blizzard for an week. The weather improved nicely. The room, grounds, pools, and spa are all very nice. I never know what to expect and this exceeded expectations. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

One of my favorite Hilton's with the BEST employees. Thank you to Eric, James, Jed, Chris, Patti, Jesus, Cherry, and all the fabulous people here. Thank you for always making us feel welcome and at home. See you soon!

The worst customer service experience of my life. The worst coffe, hospitality, cold people and staff, no sense of service, high charges, no sense of the brand and hopefully the last time I will stay with the brand. Badly spent $250 for the night. By the way the coffee in the room is also very bad. I wish the hospitality matched the location.
