Great resort that is a bit outside of the heart of Sedona but has it's perks. Easy to get to right away and easy to leave on the way home. Need to drive to Uptown or other areas so be prepared for about a 15 min drive to those areas and activities. This resort has a phenomenal bar and grille area with fire pits and spacious seating areas. Used the fitness center and is basically like a normal gym with free weights up to 100lbs and an outdoor activities gym as well. Would stay again.

The resort is beautiful. Outside dining with individual firepits and 2 igloo dining areas you can reserve. Rooms are nice with a fireplace. Starbucks inside hotel. Some dining seating inside with shuffle board and tvs. Conceirge is very helpful and informative on activities. Golf course, spa, tennis courts and heated pool. Great location and close proximity to several hiking/biking trails and the 5 famous vortex locations. Highly recommend a stay.

We requested room overlooking the pool but was given ground level parking lot view. 3 guys on guys trip the room was clean but not spacious and beds were too small to handle 3 big guys. We made it work of course, but wasnt comfortanle as we had hoped for $300/night. We were just grateful to be together and so it didn't matter much. Of course no other rooms we were told were available to switch too.
The pool was a highlight and the fitness center was too. The main hot tub was always too crowded at night which was frustrating. But we found the outdoor hot tub at the fitness center to be always empty, but they close at 7pm daily which really needs to change to make this place better. 10pm should be close time. Also, we really wanted to play pickleball so we recommend changing 1 of the 4 tennis courts to pickleball. It's the new game everyone is playing nowadays. The restaurant onsite was fine, we loved their sweet baked goods, but their service at the bar was really careless. I stood twice on separate occasions for 5 minutes waiting at the bar register to buy a couple cookies and sodas, and the bartender and her helper didn't acknowledge my presence or attempt to help, I was very surprised. They seemed to be very wrapped up in making drinks and didn't care much to set those down for 2 seconds to complete my quick transaction. I loved all the amenities this hotel offered and would recommend staying here for that reason alone. Multiple fire pits all around were cool, awesome pool (need another hot tub though), fitness center with outdoor lap pool, indoor workout room, sauna, steam room, indoor hot tub, spa, 4 outdoor tennis courts (1 needs to be converted to pickleball), and a decent location (10 mins drive to fowntown Sedona).

Very nice place to go to relax if you re in Sedona! They have an amazing day pass for $25/person, which gives you access to the lounge pool, all fitness classes, the steam room/sauna, and both the indoor and outdoor jacuzzi. The indoor jacuzzi was luxurious. They also have massages at the spa!

As soon as we walked in the attendants were super warm and friendly. Jennifer was a DELIGHTFUL surprise. Professional and kind. Our room is pretty and clean. My only complaint is that they allow dogs here, which means of course we heard barking all freaking night. I love dogs, I have one, but cmon... if you have a yappy jerk of a dog, be a decent human being and take it to a dog boarding facility. Same with your screaming children...

Not a Hilton Experience: Sedona was wonderful and we had an amazing time exploring, hiking and eating out! Regarding this hotel, it surprises me how many great reviews it gets. I would compare the service and grounds/rooms to that of a nice Holiday Inn. When paying $500+ a night I expect there to not be mold in the bathroom, blood stains on the sheets, dented and beat up walls, carpet and furniture stains, etc. Also, the pool never opens or operates under the scheduled hours. The staff were generally pleasant, but are not at all service oriented. We visited many other hotels in the area and in the future, I d plan my stay someplace else in Sedona.

Had a great experience at this hotel. Staff is always pleasant and accommodate pretty much anything you need. Clean room with daily cleaning as needed. I loved the food, pool and facility. Take your family, do a staycation or use for business reasons. I am confident you will love it as much as we did!

If you are looking to explore Sedona and Red Rock State Park and more this is a great place to call home for a few days.
Relaxing, great rooms, friendly and very helpful staff all capped off with beautiful views.

My wife and I only stayed two nights here but wished we'd stayed longer. We look forward to going back.

Staff were great on check in. We got appointed and lovely room but my wife after three days of walking in Arizona desperately wanted a bath. No drama they team moved us to a room with a bath and a view that was amazing.

The rooms are great. Big beds and a stunning gas fire, perfect for kicking back and unwinding after a a long day hiking in the canyons and parks.

There is a hiking supply shop on site. The lady there was super helpful guiding my wife and on on where to go and what hikes would suits our needs. Devils bridge was awesome.

Breakfast is great. Friendly and helpful staff and a great choice.

A great hotel in a beautiful part of the USA.

Pics are views from our balcony!

My room was unkept. The furniture had stains, was old and some chipped too. The carpet could tell so many stories, hasn't been washed for sooo long. There was no tissue paper nor body lotion. we had to beg for it more than once. The restaurant and room service personal need training. I asked for the only vegetarian option from menu but was served sausages. The place is not in Sedona. To get there it can be 30 minutes of bumper to bumper....I so wish to get my $$ back. The front desk messed up my bill. Were charging $500 more than it should. It took one hour to resolve the issue.

Service was great, so was the location. Stunning views all around and a patio and fireplace in each room. We however had some issues with the cleanliness of the room upon arrival. The mirror was filthy, one of the lights were burnt out, and the room key was very gross.

Check in is more difficult than most Hilton's. Problems at the desk and only one Bell on duty at a time. The hotel will not let you use a luggage cart so you will likely hand carry your luggage.

We were there for five beautiful days. Great service, clean rooms, free laundry, pool clean, premises clean. The staff professional and friendly. Juan Carlos, John and Jesus made our stay stress free for my whole family. This is our second time staying and we will be back. THANK YOU! :-)

This could've been a 5 star review if not for complications relating to their package deals (Romance package specifically) and the poor customer service we received at the end of our stay that left us with a bad taste. I had planned a romantic getaway for my partners b-day and booked the Romance Package that included "$100 nightly dining credit applicable towards dinner in a private illuminated igloo located in the scenic garden at ShadowRock Tap + Table," but it seemed no one at the hotel knew anything about how this package worked. I called in advance about where the money was applicable towards, if it could be used for room service, and even confirmed with the front desk upon arrival that we could use it for room service and they said yes. I was disappointed to see our receipt that charged for room service and the igloo dinner. We had to wait around for someone to sort it out and the worker (we believe her name was Carl or Chris) was unsympathetic and rude. She said the $100 credit was only for the restaurant and not room service. I then asked "So if I went downstairs and grabbed it myself I wouldn't be charged?" She said pretty much and I said "Well then I obviously would've done that, but I was told it was applicable." I also pointed out how they charged for the Igloo dinner even though it was literally apart of the package. She sighed and left us there so she could look it over and aggravated she said "I guess I'll take care of it." Her customer service was the worst of anyone there and she didn't even apologize for charging my card nearly $200 more than what it should've. This worker has no business working with guests. Everyone else at this hotel was kind, helpful, and fast, but she seemed not to care about us as we were checking out.

There were however some positive aspects to our stay I would like to mention. The suite was gorgeous and had a view of the red rocks. Overall the room was clean and orderly (except we had an ice tray filled with food crumbs, but they quickly got us a new one). I said it was a birthday stay and the staff all signed a card and provided us with 2 free drink vouchers which was very sweet and appreciated. We received great room service and the server provided lots of napkins, condiments, etc. Our whirlpool was delightful and relaxing. Eating at the igloo/restaurant was delicious, the drinks were fantastic, all though the room service options were mediocre. The staff also brought a luggage carrier to our room before we checked out.

It could've been a perfect stay if not for the ending to this trip

Great location, view is unbeatable. Plenty of good shops and restaurants nearby but not as crowded as downtown Sedona. Rooms are fairly decent but wouldn't say great for that price. Overall a solid resort but a bit overpriced for what it is.

Nice place, friendly staff and some great Sedona views.
It seems a bit odd for them to ask you to be a rewards member or pay for WiFi. I would expect a free and easy process like many places of this quality offer.

We had a blast here! It was on the edge of town which we really preferred! Our bartender, Jon, was hilarious and suggested we check out Page, az for a fun day trip and it turned out to be the best day ever. He basically gave us an itinerary to follow and was a personal travel agent! The drinks and food were awesome, but the deviled eggs were supposed to change each night and never did. Who likes deviled eggs made with black beans?? Other than that and a few weird patrons (not the Hilton s fault), we had an amazing time! Thank you!

I don't know why they have so many good reviews about this hotel, but this has to be the worst Hilton I've ever stayed.
The ceiling is so low, I almost felt claustrophobic. The 1 bedroom suite was so small, even comparing to hotel rooms in New York City.

The place is gorgeous and clean. Customer service is the best, we where given exceptional treatment since we walked inn and even offered an upgrade based on my husbands status with them. The room was great and spacious. We had breathtaking views. Recommend this place 100%

Pros: The suite is really great, with a fireplace, a porch balcony, a kitchenette, and a comfy bed. (The views of Bell Rock are mostly across a parking lot just so you know.) The sound insulation is far better than in a Holiday Inn, too. I also like the location away from busier Sedona.

There are some mildly weird and annoying things about this resort, though:
1. No resort amenities guide in the room. On a rather large campus, it s really hard to figure out what s available at the spa or what s on the restaurant menu, etc. (Why isn t all of this in the app Hilton is so heavily promoting??)
2. The activity schedules as posted online, on the flyer, and in the lobby are all apt to contradict one another, so be sure to check with guest services about what is actually happening, when, and where.
3. The spa and spa pool area feel dated... and naturally both the sauna and steam room are out of order.
4. What s the point in a digital key if it doesn t work at the pool (even though the digital key clearly picks up the presence of a pool door)? After I picked up a physical key, my digital key no longer worked not sure if that was a coincidence or part of the design, but I wasn t warned.
5. The outdoor restaurant is a lovely space at night but left some things to be desired. Cheesy 80s rock set the tone. Service was very slow ever to check in. As for the food, they were not even trying on my Cobb salad the chicken and even the poached egg were cold. I heard the neighboring table complain about cold soup, and the server said they could heat it up but it might overcook the shrimp as if that were the patrons problem to sort out?? (There was also an issue with their tacos.)
5. I saw a room-service plate left outside the door from early evening till at least late the next morning. A frame on a tripod where a sign might have stood outside the restaurant had all kinds of random junk hanging from it. It s little things like this that can just contribute to making a place feel low-rent.

EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE:

EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE:

Tipping $20 (for every transaction) could not train the staff over a week & 1/2 time period. Polite requests made.
(lowest purchase amount for water)

The problem: basic communication. Ordering service for drinks or food. Server brought drinks with ice. Wrong drinks. Brought wrong kind of coffee in morning entirely different shift. Brought plain bagels instead of sesame seed.... a pattern over several shifts of bringing whatever they choose instead of order without telling customer.

No timeline updates on order. No communication. Poor communication. Communication intentionally ignored.

Waiving host, server or waitress/ waiter did not yield results of better communication.

Asking manager for a solution and continuation of $20 tips fir all transactions did not yield results for better communication.

Bottom line.
Jose, Melanie, Chantel, Josh, Emily refused to perform better when asked.

Room stay Diamond Life Member: $1,600+
Food orders $230 per day +

Behavior was intentional with giggling when asked for attention to detail
this isn t our career. Response.

We stayed here for our honeymoon in Sedona and the whole experience was amazing! The staff is very friendly and professional. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The resort was gorgeous with great drinks, food, amenities, and service. We got massages on our first day to start our trip and it was a fantastic experience. We can t wait to return one day for an anniversary trip!

We were greeted warmly upon arrival and given a room with an amazing view. Our room was comfortable and had extra pillows as requested. The following morning we enjoyed breakfast on the patio. I had the chilaquiles, and my husband had huevos rancheros. Eggs on both dishes were perfectly cooked, and the coffee was delicious. We'll definitely be back.

UPDATE: (Original 5-star review below) the place is really nice. However, looking at another reviewer's similar experience, they might be having issues with returning items accidentally left behind. My wife had her boots left in the room when we checked out. We called back the same day before the check-in time (so there shouldn't have been another guest checked in). We were transferred to housekeeping and were asked to leave a voicemail. I received a callback 2 days later telling me they didn't find anything. It is hard to believe that nobody would've seen them in the room.

Nice, clean, pet-friendly hotel. It is not exactly in Sedona, which I see it as a plus if you're going there to relax. If you want to see Sedona (which you should), it only takes another 10-15 minutes of driving, where the views are breathtaking. The resort offers various sizes of rooms. If you're able to get a deal on the suites, I'd highly recommend it. There is not much to eat on the property other than their own restaurant/bar but they had delicious options (especially S'mores skillet). The hotel also has multiple fire pits in the outside seating area. I'd stay here again.

Bad customer service at this hotel. We had one night hilton rewards for this hotel since it is more expensive then most hilton hotels. When we booked the hotel they had a 3 night minimum so we could not use the free night my husband called the manager of the hotel and they told him they could do this at check in. When we checked in we were told to call hilton honors who told him they could not give the free room and that it has to be done through the hotel. This has been very frustrating. We stay at hilton when we travel and my husband stays here when he travels for work and this is the first problem we have had. I would not recommend the Hilton sedona bc it does not seem the managers know the rules. This hotel is greedy just like other reviews I read I will not be staying at this hotel again

Don't come expecting a good night's sleep. The hotel seems to care more about its loud, late-into-the evening outdoor entertainment than it does the evening comfort of its paying guests.

This place is nice! Bar, pool, room, VIEW! Internet sucks though, getting onto "free" internet is a nightmare. Takes multiple tries. Bed sags to middle too so sleeping two to same bed not fun.

My brother and wife were staying for Mothers Days. I was able to make it just for breakfast. We had a nice breakfast very friendly staff. Food was also good.
We then went out and found a nice patio to be able to visit with each other.
