Lovely place. Comfortable rooms. Delicious food. A lot of green. A perfect place to relax. Near to the beach.

This is easily the best resort I ve ever been. A real retreat. A paradise to look forward to after a busy working year. Beautiful location and staff. Can not wait to return soon

Didn't stay here (thankfully) but visited the property often as a number of our family were staying here as part of a wedding party. One member of our party requested a wheelchair, and it was practically impossible to get a working one. It took asking three times, including speaking directly to the hotel manager, to get a wheelchair that actually worked and wouldn't dump our nana on the ground. Before talking to the manager, we were offered wheelchairs that didn't have functioning brakes, were broken in other ways, and looked like they were straight out of a 1950's insane asylum. For a hotel this large, and this expensive, not having a working wheelchair and taking so long to actually get a solution to that problem, is just plain bad.

Never rested, but the brand name would still be guaranteed

This is a review for the Thai Thai restaurant at the Hilton - to my second point below, couldn t find a place to review it on Google Maps.

Had a really lovely dinner - and so wish we had found this restaurant in the Hilton earlier. The menu was laid out per regions in Thailand - north, south and so on - which gives you so much more variety than your typical Thai restaurant. We had the mango salad, minced chicken roti, khao soi (that I was craving after a visit to Chiang Mai) and duck confit, with mango sticky rice. No alcohol served as it was Vesak. Excellent food, on par with Mom Tri s kitchen and better, in my opinion, than On the Rock.

Two suggestions for management - maybe we missed it but some overall description on the different regional cuisines would be helpful, either in written form or verbally. We would have been more adventurous with some help ;-) Second, try to show up on google maps. The Hilton hotel does, the restaurant does not. We typically search on restaurants nearby to find a place to eat and Thai Thai doesn t show up.

I wanted to share our experience with Hilton Arcadea Phuket. We visited from 13-Oct-2018 to 16-Oct-2018.

1. The prices that you see on websites is excluding breakfast. To be competive hotel or websities give a lower rate. You check in and you are asked to pay extra. The staff conveniently says its not included. It cost you Sgd 300 for 3 people per day. So your vacation is sabotaged at beginning itself.

2 The hotel staff says bottled water is free. Each bottle is just 500ml. If you order 8 bottles (3 people) they say you have exhausted daily limit of water and have to pay for every next bottle. I went out and bought water for us next morning.

The natural beauty is great but each guest has paid decent amount in my case $910 Usd for 3night stay. It looks cheap to ask to pay extra else raise the per day price so that people can view in totality. Felt cheated and embarssed in front of my wife. Our trip was her birthday gift and i wanted it to be special.

This is the biggest Resort in Phuket and it is located on a very nice Beach but across the road

Very nice resort with incredibly friendly staff and great restaurants on the property. Stayed at plenty of Hilton properties but never one of their resorts, greatly impressed and will plan to stay again if I come back to Thailand.

Centrally located in Karon Beach area. Peaceful big area with enough space. Not full and no sun loungers. Breakfast with good. The gym allows for a varied workout. Several treadmills, exercise bikes, a bench press bench, etc. We had a room with a view of the sea. Very nice with a large balcony on the couch. The only minus is that the age begins to appear in the bathroom, for example, where there are already limescale and signs of use in the shower. In the bathroom there is a bathtub in addition to a shower. The air conditioning was effective and there was no room for adjustment. It would be desirable to adjust to a lower one because otherwise the fear of the flu. Not as small as desired. That's why we pushed away at night, so the room, of course, came back to the heat. Service played well. I can recommend the hotel.

Environment, facilities are good! The room is too old, need new

The beds are extremely comfortable , the free breakfasts are delicious! My family and i loved the swimming pools. It is situated in an excellent place. The restraunt called Thai Thai was horrible, too overpriced. The rest is amazing. There are so many reastruants to choose so don t worry. I definitely reccomend the Hilton Arcadia

nice hotel, a bit old here and there, large beautiful garden's

One of the most delightful places on the planet! Exquisite gardens, beautiful food and a real break away from the rest of the world. The sea view is definitely worth the extra $ and we loved being away from the craziness of Patong yet it close enough to visit whenever you want. Paradise!

Best hotel... Everything was the best including the five pools... One of the best property in phuket for family as well as couples.. Check for offseason and discounted rates that come frequently and make this hotel cheaper than most 5star hotels..

A very relaxing, familiar place and next to the beach. Our very spacious room overlooking the beach. It has restaurants within the complex. Highly recommended :)

Great experience beautiful view all the rooms are sea facing

Nice hotel, friendly staff, upgraded rooms are worthwhile but be prepared to pay. Overall happy with our stay. Good for kids if you like water activities. You could spend 2 weeks here and not need to leave the resort. Using the Hilton vehicles for any outings is worth paying a small premium for. Drivers are great and trustworthy.

Overall the garden, the swimming pool, the structure is well done. The garden view room is also great for feeling the nature. It is so nice to have breakfast as well as watching the scenery. There are many pools, so you can use the swimming pool slightly different. Just across the road is a beach, so it's easy to get to the beach. I am just a little tired of having the same breakfast every day. There is no tasty menu, but there is no particularly delicious menu. Breakfast is a little disappointing compared to a similar hotel. The staff are very friendly.

I would give 5* for the hospitality a
And friendly stuff. 1* less because of the bad organised transport. We should get private transport to the ferry but we got a bus which is collecting people from few places and the driver was not friendly. The hotel is old but clean and well maintained. The surrounding is tropical and nice, it's full of pools. The beach is 3 min walk across the street.

Huge place, need a hotel transport just to get to hotel lobby. Stayed just accross the beach so we can se the sun set.

We had a room with a view of the sea (across the road). The beach does not have its own sun beds, you need to go to the side for rent. We used towels from the hotel, especially for the beach. The sand is wonderful-crisp.

The hotel is huge, green. We did not even have time to examine it! Since there are a number of streets where you can get a massage, have lunch, dinner, make a purchase.
We rented a car, it s better to do it at Orange car phuket, they have a new fleet, everything is well organized, we really liked it. By the way, right on their website you can order a car.
Sooooo many Chinese, hold the plates tight in the buffet!
They make delicious pizza nearby.

Nice hotel with a huge territory on the first line of Karon Beach. Several pools, surrounded by greenery, walking areas. Each room has a balcony, good organization, friendly staff. Relatively high service - reasonable prices.

We booked three nights here for our honeymoon. Soon after we entered our hotel room, we realized it's not quite what we expected. The room is very small and out dated. In the night neither of us could fall sleep well, due to the air conditioning and refrigerator were making big noise. At 2 am, we finally decided to contact the lobby for help, then we realized the room phone was not working... In the end, we had to walk to the lobby at 2am. The manager there was nice and willing to change another room for us, however we decided to cancel the other nights due to the bad experience we have had.

Location is beautiful, with the ocean side pool giving a fantastic view out over the ocean. Although getting down to it can sometimes be an issue due to the traffic on the road. The rooms are well furnished, with new appliances & furniture, although the floor is slightly old (but still good) looking.

The resort it well lit, and paths to the resorts various facilities are almost all undercover. At night there are a variety of cats roaming around, and while it is probably not advisable to pat them, they are friendly and will naturally walk up to you.

Toilet & shower facilities in the room are very new, with fast hot water and plenty of pressure. The covering on the windows into the bathroom however, is slightly too low and can let others see you quite easily while using the toilet / shower. There is plenty of space in the bathroom however, with a bath / shower combo also available.

While you will get plenty of cell coverage around the resort, there is ample coverage of Wi-Fi around the pools, rooms and facilities. The speed is good, with 5 mb/s from each device connected. However, each access code only allows for 3 devices.

All in all, the resort is fantastic to stay at with the ocean & markets easy to walk to and the Jungceylon shopping mall a 15 min tuk tuk (or taxi) drive.

I loved the place and the view from the 11th floor room so much I came back to Phuket, to just stay here. Property is sprawling and very well maintained. Breakfast spread is as expected. It s across the road from Karon beach. Tuk tuk stand across the entrance. spa on the property.

Very nice hotel right on the beach. Multiple pools here and restaurants onsite. We had a wonderful time, everyone is so nice. I d like to thank Lee for checking us in and showing us to our room. We had a relaxing stay and felt very welcome. We enjoyed the convenience of the location and being able to explore Phuket at our leisure and not being stuck in a wildly over-touristy spot. We hope to be back soon!

No taxi access. You have to ask the hotel to call a taxi for you (they are not allowed in otherwise) and they then add 50% charge. Terrible rooms (junior svit is a joke) location not great. By far the worst 5 star hotel I have been to.

2nd year staying here and wow.... far enough from the hustle and bustle of Patong and Karon precinct. We paid the extra for a better room and package which was well worth the extra $$$$ at $500 au p/n. The room cleaner Tam is excellent. We'll be back again.

Me and my girlfriend who has never traveled overseas before stayed here for a week, the staff were very friendly, the facilities are impressive and with the beach just over the road we had a great time.

You can enjoy pools in various places. Breakfast is satisfactory beyond thought. You can eat a variety of breakfasts, including handmade jam and cheese, although they are different. Also, please make your room clean.

Stayed for 4days during holidays. Such a nice place to relax! So much NATURE!

The Hotel is showing ist age. I stayed here 8 times but the Service and the Hotel itself have decreased through the years. Unfortunately the majority of guests are now chines bus tourists and the Hotel caters totally to them only.

Awesome place to stay the staff and service is fantastic, definitely stay here again.

Great stay and I recommend getting the suite as the space really makes it feel easier to relax when traveling with the whole family. The food was great and my kids loved everything on the kids menu.

Huge hotel in a decent location. Various aspects of our room (and the building) were in need of repair. We had a power adapter plugged in that shorted out and blew up with a loud bang in the middle of the night. And our room lights quit working twice during our 5 day stay. Needless to say they have some power issues. The beds were comfy and the views were good. The staff was friendly and we were very happy with them overall.

I recommend this hotel only for the family who has kids. This resort is too old and too big. That is both a plus and minus. The worst thing is that the hotel is not properly soundproofed, so I can hear everything that goes on next door. I stayed at Junior Suite and It was waste of money seriously..

Absolutely awesome stay.... What a picturesque family resort to be Inn..we along with 3 family stayed for 3 nights n kids loved this place.... Surely Will come back again n would highly recommend this Hilton Arcadia resort n spa...

It is tired and not as well maintained as it should be for a Hilton property. Also have poor policies on renewing your charge authorization by locking you out of your room until you re-present your credit card which is likely locked in the room.

The highlight of my trip is the Hilton. It's beautiful with 3 pools. It has security guards on the entrance at the gate. It has a guard by the beach exit. Great restaurants. Great service

After a 6 day stay at the hotel ... all I can say is that we will definitely come back, we were happy in all areas ... Thank you very much for all the amenities you have offered .. I highly recommend it.

From the moment we arrived it was beautiful. A huge resort with 3 pools, bars and restaurants throughout. As a diamond honors member we were offered a bottle of wine since there was no upgrade available which was an excellent surprise for us. Access to beach is very easy and there is a nice mini mart and pharmacy a stones throw from the property to grab some cold ones for the fridge. A great resort for the money. Restaurants are a bit pricey compared to local restaurants, but for an extra couple of bucks I'd rather stick to the resort in the evening. Overall I would recommend!!

It is a 5-star hotel, so it is useless to list the merits.
In this case it is the defects that make the difference, such as the cockroaches that walked between the buffet courses, like the cockroach that rose on my wife's hand while taking toilet paper in the bathroom, like the absolute lack of common sense when, despite the dark clouds, they organized an outdoor dinner and a storm made us run like wet rats, like the medical center that sent us to the pharmacy for the sunburn taken under the sun (on foot, in the sun ), like the afternoon tea in which they gave us the breakfast stuff and not even a glass of water.
The structure is beautiful, but not worth the 5 stars.

If you do not want to burn yourself by the hot water in the bathroom, please DO NOT CHOOSE this place!
I had a terrible experience here! The shower system did not work!! The water suddenly turned super hot and burned my arms even if I set the temperature low!! And it would turn super cold in a sec and made me chilly! And the repairman came into the bathroom with his boots on...everything was just messed up!(Look the picture)

Wanna know more about it? Well, the phone in the room did not work so I had to use the one in the bathroom to report the issue...and it seemed that all facilities in the room came from the 1970s...I felt like I was in my grandma s house. Couldn t believe it!!

Great service - friendly and attentive staff in all depts. Very good daily breakfast with a good attention to detail. Well worth the stay. Just needs a little renovation here and there.

Good hotel but not the same standard as previous guests

My second stay here in last 3 yrs..surprisingly what is so positive about this property is that the more old this property becomes the more beautiful and well maintained this property turns into... usually people destroy nature and build their property but here first the property is built and later they have grown the nature... just hats off to the people the way they are maintaining this resort

Good resort with many amenities inside. However if you are planning to explore phuket then better stay in other hotels. If you are looking for complete relaxation then this is good resort

It is an old but good resort. I have visited three times since 2013. It is a good place for a leisurely holiday with your family.

We enjoy sunday brunch in Hilton Arcadia in Karon.
A extended buffet with oysters, crab , and a big choice of Thai and international dishes and desserts.
Live music outside.
Free use of swimming pool is possible.
Very friendly and proffessional service
