I have been using Apex since I moved to the inner west 18 years ago. They are first class, helpful and reasonably priced. I would not think about going any where else, because I just am completely satisfied here. Marrickville wants more businesses like yours.

Called the guys this morning and they were able to diagnose, advise and quote over the phone very quickly. They arrived at the specified time and did the work as quoted as well as a couple of general jobs. I've used other local locksmiths in the past but will stick with Apex for future jobs.

Dear APEX Locksmiths,

I required registration for my car and was told the ignition had to come out by the mechanic that I was speaking to.

I was about to pay the mechanic but I thought I would reach out to a locksmith before I would spend a couple of hundred dollars on a new ignition. The great team at APEX were able to cut the key without having to take the ignition out. I was then able to get rego for my car!

Superior service & Well-Priced Safes.

Called & Popped around to Apex Locksmiths to organise the installation of a safe, and like any tradesmanship, service & their word of mouth was particularly important - Friends of ours had recommended them.

I've got to admit this, rarely do I post reviews of tradesmen (Ben), but even from the get-go, Apex was brilliant with the quoting of the safe, and even arranged for installation of our safe (Joe).

Ben, the locksmith who came to our premises, was phenomenal! Ask for him if you can! He went over and beyond, from carefully moving the safe into the house (we have tiles), to the drilling of the holes. He even offered to vacuum the concrete dust around the safe afterwards. Last but not the least, he even removed his shoes at the doorway when appropriate. P.s. He also arrived on the dot as we scheduled!

The service & professionalism offered by that young lad was brilliant, almost akin to a full service at a 5-star hotel. I wish him the very best in his career.

Legends. Helped us with a faulty lock and didn t need to pay for complete replacement. Sorted it all out really quickly and also quietly (we had a sleeping child). High recommended.

Long story will make it breif as possible. Had a bi-fold door installed commercial grade great door life is great. Baby happens. Baby now 10 months old starting to stand. I'm watching the baby do her thing one day and notice she has been watching us and has figured out how we open the door, she keeps reaching for the handle and just can't quite reach it just yet. If she manages to reach the handle the door is going to open outwards and she is going fall flat on her face onto pavers. I've only got about a month or so before she can reach it. Problem. The latch installed is meant for commercial purposes and doesn't have many configuration options. The boys at Apex were able to come up with a solution where others couldn't. Great guys very helpful and they have helped keep the baby safe for another day. Highly recommended!

Been going here for years. Pretty reasonable locksmiths. Generally ruin about half an hour late, so adjust time expectations accordingly.

I have used Apex several times and have always gone away satisfied. They have a wide range of stock from the smallest key to the biggest safe and the staff know all about the products. On one occasion I was after the factory combination for a particular brand of safe and they rattled it off in a matter of seconds. That shows a great deal of knowledge about the products they sell and indeed the whole industry. I could not recommend them enough.

Really quick and responsive, i wrecked a deadlatch like a stooge and they had it fixed in less than an hour! Highly recommend these guys, excellent service

I'm not a regular customer so I was extremely impressed by the help and extra support Joe offered me recently. It's the type of help I would expect after demonstrating you are a loyal or regular customer. However, Joe really went out on a limb to help me as much as he could.

I don't have any personal or business affiliation with Apex, but I appreciate great service, especially when you're in a tight spot and need something done urgently - I wasn't even charged a surcharge, I was offered a discount. Yes, seriously.

If you haven't been in there for a while, their new shop layout is so much better too and there seems to be more staff now. Contrary to another review here, I was served quickly enough - no complaints there.

I also shopped around on the phone before going in and they offered the best prices in the local area.

You would be silly to not give them a call.

What a freaking joke! Apex service is no service at all. They claim 24/7 emergency service, but in reality provide nothing more than an answering machine. In over 3 hours I've called 3 times and the telephone operator could say nothing other than pass on a message to someone, if there's anyone at all. If you don't give 24/7 service then don't say you do. False advertising.

Came on the same day within 30 mins and replaced 6 locks. Great service

I called in at 5 pm to ask if I can come and collect my key. He told me they were closed. I called again and an other lady said they open till 5:30 pm. So which is it? Do you guys work in the same place or do you guys want to close earlier?

The office has been using Apex Locksmiths in Marrickville for years. Yesterday I had to use their service personally to unlock a deadlock, the key of which was misplaced. Not only did Ben the locksmith turned up close to the appointed time, he offered to key the original to like when I asked him to cut a repacement deadlock key. No more needing two keys to open the apartment! The service was faultless - quality and value. Highly recommended.

Ask for a lock which they had but couldn't be bothered looking through stock to find it. Told me to come back in a week. Said I need it today and he shrugged his shoulders. People need locks for a reason. If you have it go get it and stop being lazy.

I brought a safe from these guys now they are saying they dont wont to supply it once they have my money and they are not refunding my money nor are they supplying the safe. You might have to explain it to consumer affairs, if you dont get back to me or return my phone calls...

Polite, punctual, professional and ethical. Stefan was honest enough to fix my front and back door locks without my having to go to the extra expense of having either one replaced. This took a GREAT burden off my mind as I am presently cash strapped. I was so relieved that I offered him a $50 tip which he declined even though I tried to press it on him. He said; No mate you don t need to do that , it s my job, that s what I do for a living! ... or words to that effect. A BIG THANK YOU TO APEX FOR SENDING ME YOUR BEST MAN!

Tried to rip me off, a young guy quoted cutting my new Toyota car key for $35, later his boss came out and want $99... took it to hardware store and got it cut for $5, yes, $5 and it works like a dream. Don't be fooled by some greedy locksmith!

Several weeks ago my daughter's handbag was stolen whilst she was at a funeral! This caused a great deal of distress on top of the sad occasion. We called Apex late in the day and they were with us within a half hour to change the locks at the unit. They charged us less than they had initially quoted and also gave me a lift back to the wake afterwards! The young tradesman was polite and helpful. We highly recommend Apex Locksmiths. The boys have come to my rescue a number of times, both commercially and for residential. They have always been prompt, reliable and pleasant to deal with.

Worst service I've ever experienced. First of all was given the wrong remotes for my garage door, then was left without a remote to my property for over a month and kept getting told that they're "looking into it" to then finally be told there's nothing they can do about it.. Disgusting service

The locksmith that came to visit our office in pyrmont was fun, seriously professional and quick. He sorted out our lock in 2 minutes, cleaned up after himself and was just Generally pleasant. Moving forward I won't be using any other locksmith.

Excellent locksmiths. I had to drive 1+hrs of traffic to get to them due to bad timing, but the locksmiths here are exceptional. They are very skilled, have all the tools AND will pretty much cut any key you can find. I had a peculiar looking key that countless locksmiths and key cutters have refused to cut but the guys at APEX did 2 keys in 5 minutes at 10$ per key. Total champs at what they do.

The service ended when we signed the contract, and at one point the manager was just flat out rude. No customer service, rude staff, long waits for repairs with no hope of changing companies. Definitely not recommended, particularly if you're a business client.

I came into the store this morning to purchase a deadlock, Apex provided excellent service and advice to assist me. They also offered to install the deadlock for a great price. I would definitely use them again!
