Room was very clean, and I was able to actually sleep. I would have wished to check in earlier, but understand.

The restuarant was really really good...my reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 was they were out of a lot...of their menu items. So not really prepared for the load of guests staying there.

Overall good experience though.

Great location and quite clean but the service wasn't the best. The front desk people were blah and so were the valet folks. Our bath tub wasn't draining well so we asked for someone to come fix it. It took them a while but he came and left. We thought it was fixed since he said it was but it wasn't. We asked for some extra toiletries and it took them over 50 minutes to bring them - this was after calling them twice to remind them. We were also told that they could only bring three things because our stay was too short and we shouldn't need more than that. Who manages these numbers? shrug* The front desk lady also told us about the breakfast buffet as if it was free. I was a bit confused and suspicious so I asked if there was a cost and then she mentioned that it was not a complimentary breakfast. We all felt a bit mislead.
Anyhoo .. would I stay here again? Yes for the Priceline deal that I got but no for full price. We also found free street parking around the side of the building for handicap placarded cars so we did that and were able to skip the parking fees. Too bad the staff stunk. It would have been a lot better of an experience.

Experience ruined by sliding bathroom door gap. Nothing worse than trying to go #2 while seeing family members walking by through a half inch gap between the door and wall. No privacy! They hear everything your doing in there. What were they thinking designing their bathroom like this! I'm here typing this at 1:02 in the morning taking care of business while the family is sleeping because it was so uncomfortable, trying to do it two hours earlier. The bathroom is extremely small too! I'm close to everything. I can put my finger through the half inch gap while sitting here on the pot. What is this, a bathroom stall at a bar?! It's bad enough we have to pay $21 to park per day after paying for the stay and $10 for wifi. Yet, as annoying as that is, I can accept paying more for larger hotels nickel and diming us when, in return, we get a quality stay. But I'm so blindsided by this horrible bathroom, that I don't even notice anything else about the room. It might be nice and clean and fit for a king, but my focus has been taken away from all the things you would normally read in a review. I apologize for that, because I normally like to point out the good along with the bad. I also thought to myself that maybe I should wait to write this review after I have cooled down. After all, I just finished driving for seven hour. But then I thought to myself that this is exactly what needs to be said. These hotels are in the business of giving their guests a pleasant stay. That is what we are paying them for! I did a Google search and found that there are other bad reviews and picture concerning these bathroom doors. I see that Hilton reps are even response to some of the reviews. Talk is cheap. I hope they don't just listen, but, instead, actually do something about it. I settled on 2 stars because near the end of this review, I walked out of the bathroom and noticed that the actual room looks decent. But that's all your getting from me, Hilton!

Bathroom what's a sliding door and that did not lock. Thermostat was deceiving and that there was a thermostat for the room as well as the thermostat for the air conditioner that could have been better explained. There was no fart fan in the bathroom. Aside from that everything was pretty decent for a hotel of that age.

In general, Hilton Pasadena is a normal place to stay, but it's nothing spectacular. Ultimately, I can't in good conscience give a 4-star to a hotel that still doesn't give free Wi-Fi.

The pool is small, and looks nowhere near as nice as it seems in pictures. There is no bar for the pool, so don't expect this to be a lounge type pool area where you and all your friends can hang out. You can have a decent amount of people at the bar inside, and the events space is quite spacious.

The fitness center is small, but workable and clean enough for a hotel gym. Parking is a bit expensive in my opinion. It's $21 to get in/out privileges.

I visited for for the rose bowl parade with the donate life organization as a floragraph honoree family member. The Hilton was incredible to all of us. They had specially made room keys for us and they decorated the whole hotel in honor of the float. I am so thankful for what they did to honor us and our lost loved ones.

The hotel on it's own was fine but Hilton's model is a bit off-putting. I didn't like having to sign up online to get free WiFi. The hotel itself is pricey too without much separating it from other hotels. The staff was really attentive though, which might be one reason to explain the price. They tried to help me find a phone charger when my phone wouldn't fit the ones already in the room. The bar downstairs and lobby area are spacious and decent looking. Rooms were clean.

Rating for meetings / food and beverage service on...

Rating for meetings / food and beverage service only. Well organized and efficient set up and service. Everything provided as agreed, but you get what you negotiate for in detail only. For example, coffee service for guests is regular and decaf only, not hot water and tea which has to be explicitly arranged for separately. Service timing also is precise, starting on time and ending at agreed time. Parking is not inexpensive and it can get very busy at hotel entrance before and after events. You must plan to allow for entry and exit parking time consequently.

The room was really nice and the bed was comfortable. All of the amenities were modern and I'll to date. The location was very convenient and walking distance to restaurants. The self parking wasn't the most convenient as all of the closest spots were reserved.

The Hilton Pasadena is a wonderful venue. I visited there recently for the Pasadena bead expo so K cannot speak to the hotel portion of the venue however everything was layed out well. There were refreshments available to us through the bar as well as a Starbucks. All in all is was a comfortable venue for an expo.

Angry, Stressed out employees.

Angry, Stressed out employees.

I was checked in by two Asian women who did not smile and did not greet me. They were very "testy" during the check-in process.
I asked about the parking situation. The older Asian receptionist just said "$21, $23". NO smile. Just stiffly said the price.
Then, took my credit card info and gave me back my card.

Then, when I was lounging in the cafeteria, I asked one of the servers if there is a way to get "coffee". The server just said "I'm just setting up!". He didn't even acknowledge the question or tried to find out what I needed.

I don't know if the problem is that the employees get treated badly by the company, which they resent and take it out on the customers. Or the problem is that most of the employees here are either Asians and Hispanic, who don't have good command of the language. Because they are definitely "defensive" with any interactions or requests by the customers.

Nice hotel, comfortable beds. But terrible service.

I received far superior treatment from a Motel 6.

I stayed at this hotel 3 days in November 2012. It is a good branch of Hilton. I enjoyed my stay here and visited Wiltshire Boulevard and Los Angles from here. Next time I will probably stay here.

Very friendly staff. Best check in experience I've had in a long time. Bellman proactively offered to drive me to the convention center, as i was here for a conference and had some heavy equipment.

Room was clean. Customer service was good. But parking wasn't free. Need to pay 21 dollars per night for valet, even self park cost you 19 dollars per night. The parking cost is quite steep in my opinion.

Had the worse two Airbnb experience in LA downtown and this is definitely a treasure out of this whole vacation so far. Was hoping Hilton will be a top notch hotel; but if you look close up, it s just one of those lower version that charges just as expensive.

First of all, I called several times for room service in the room and no one answer. So I basically left and went to a decent restaurant after a long day of battle with Airbnb. Came back again, and still made a few calls for housekeeping, no one still.

The room has no hotel slippers, no bathrobe, no boiling kettles. The comforter is only sandwiches between two flat sheets (first time I see this cheap option) and the washroom have limited bathroom accessories.

They charge $23 USD for valet parking. their service is more friendly than the front desk.

If it s just a nice to sleep, I had no complain. But don t expect true 5 stars service.

For a "3 star" hotel it was definitely one of the most ghetto I've been to. As you walk in the front doors, you're greeted by a beautiful lobby and bar area. everything looks like you're in for a lovely stay, and then you get into your room. $130+ a night gets a room with two twin beds, a TV that doesn't have a guide (but don't worry, you can still pay for over priced movies) and that's about it. If you want to use Wi-Fi and would assume it'd be free (like it is literally everywhere else) but no, if you want to get on the Wi-Fi you better be ready to pay. But paying only let's you add 3 devices. The room appeared to at some point have had a mini fridge but that got ripped out judging by the damage to the wood. There was also no microwave. The only positive about the place were the employees were very nice.
TL;DR: less amenities than a $40/a night motel and nice people

You'd think that for over 200$ a night you'd get decent customer service. I needed to cancel my reservation to attend the funeral of my wife and I's very close friend. (Words cannot describe this.)

I was told "you would need to be immediate family and we'd need to see your name in an obituary". Followed by "and we already documented that he was your friend".

In short, stay at motel 6 instead.

Here for a training in the conference area. Lunch was arranged in advance through the restaurant and it was very delicious. Got to walk nearly 2 miles afterward through the beautiful Pasadena neighborhood. Ordered the flatbread for day 2 and it was very greasy. Only ate half before I changed to a side salad. Salad was ok, probably should have tried the house citrus vinaigrette.

The location is nice and close to everything you need. Our room was very accommodating and had a separate sink in the kitchen area which was a plus. Large balcony and no problem with the AC. We received a cot upon request which fit nicely in the kitchen area, the staff is also very friendly.
