Hilton Pasadena Review

I have stayed at this Hotel on several occasions over the past few years.
My last visit was during a refurb , which I have to say shortened my stay , due to the upheaval it caused.
Thankfully All is now complete, and what a Great job they have done.
The Hotel has still kept it's friendly relaxed manner, and it's staff are all very friendly and welcoming .
I recommend this Hotel to All.

EDIT: WOW. The entire hotel got an amazing facelift. Who knew a Google review could have such an impact? Ha. For real though, the rooms are totally refreshed and the resturant has a great selection of delicious food and drinks. Gotta say, they made up for the horrible experience I had last year. Kudos!

Hotel does not live up to the Hilton brand. Wallpaper was bubbling in room, furniture was fraying and chipped. Showers didn't drain enough, toilets drained too much and made weird bubbling sounds, fan and AC wouldn't stay ON even though it was set to continually run. Hotel is going through renovations so they say, but it just seems to be the lobby and bar they're working on. It's a shame to the Hilton brand to have a hotel in such poor shape. I'm looking forward to having the Hyatt open around the corner so I can never stay here again.

Old hotel that seems unmaintained and not up to par.

Great price for a Deluxe room, and how spacious it is! staff were kind, but breakfast isn't included.

Great meeting rooms, had lunch and a meeting with a large organization I belong to.

Really nice but they are doing renovations that make service to the restrooms a bit tricky. Parking is really good figuring the area is parking congested.

Friendly staff. Parking was $10 for self parking or $11 for valet.

Rooms were so-so. Staff was lack luster and parking is 19 dollars a night...

Wonderful place to stay in downtown Pasadena. Close to great dining and shopping.

Hilton Pasadena was a nice property on the edge of town. It is clean and modern with some slightly older common areas. We didn't avail ourselves if drinks and food, but the bar and restaurant are both inviting. All in all the Hilton Pasadena is a solid bet.

The best Hilton property I have ever stayed at. The staff was extremely nice and super helpful. My room was ready way before I expected it to be and was a nice corner room with a view of then mountains. It is in a great location with quick access to restaurants, coffee, shopping, etc. Although I wasn't here for an event, the ballrooms/meeting rooms seemed nicely sized and a good spot to host an event.

First of all. The older female attendant at the front counter was not very friendly, welcoming, or helpful. The other younger female was nice. The valet and shuttle staff were excellent. Our room while nice was not entirely clean our sheets had some kind of brownish spot on it. The coffee maker didn't make a full cup of coffee and didn't taste very good. I usually love staying with Hilton but this experience could have been better.

It was decent, the room was a little small but it all worked out.

I stayed at the Hilton for a night so I could see the theme parks. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The only downside was the shower, the water shot out so hard that it sprayed everywhere, it was hard to see what I was doing because it was continuity spraying me in the face even after I adjusted the sprayer head down as far as possible.

If in a jam, why not. Place is not very attractive in the outside. Clean on the inside.

Redone on the inside and great location in Pasadena. If you like the Paseo and Colorado BLVD you can walk to both.

Average rooms but the manager is extremely helpful and great service.

Charged for 2 nights of parking when I was only parked there from midnight to 8am...room was decent, bed a little too squishy. Staff was friendly.

Good place to stay, however no meals provided on basic reservation, reason why I'm not giving 5 stars. The gym is awesome.

Went for a bead show. Convenient location. Lots of conference rooms/dining halls. Nice decor. Never went in any of the hotel rooms, but the hotel is nice, clean and stylish. Can't imagine the rooms being shabby.

Not very happy with the fact that we get there and find out they don't provide free parking for their guests. Nor did they notify us in advance. They charge an additional $18.00 to park on top of the over $200 a night room fee for not even a 24 hours stay. Greedy!

Hilton was great. Restuarant within the Hilton was awful. Waited 30 minutes just for appetizers. Food was very over cooked when it finally came.

Had a wonderful experience at this hotel! From the staff, to the amenities, to the location itself, wouldn't have changed a thing. We felt very welcome from the minute we checked in, until the very end. Great food and drinks too!

I love the floor to ceiling wall of glass and mountain/valley views from the 10th floor. Lovely rooms. Pricey parking. Park 2 blocks away for free.

Clean and friendly staff. Bathroom appliances are the worst for water conservation.

Staff was extremely helpful during our stay. In town for a convention, we had a lot of boxes shipping in and out of the hotel. Bell desk handled it all with ease and a smile. Really made the convention possible in many way. Great food at the restaurant, and a Starbucks inside too!

Great place to hold Special Event. Event room are huge and hotel service during the event was excellent.

They have the best food and an amazing staff that is friendly. The food is always fresh and their environment is pheasant.

Not worth it! Old and smelly. The staff is nice but the hotel is not.

Nice and quiet. Newly renovated rooms . I think the sliding barn door-style bathroom doors could use some re-considering though.

No free parking, no free breakfast, bathroom door didn't close all the way, no shelves. Nice staff.

Even though the building is old, the service is excellent. The friendly staff makes me feel willing to go back.

Was here for a quick overnight stay so I didn t get to experience everything. Room was quiet and restful. The staff was perfect with my service dog. Didn t question her being there nor did they distract her from her job. They have a few areas out front for her to do her business. Valet was great too. Positioned the vehicle so we could leave without waiting for other guests.

Wedding Expo
Went for a wedding expo for my sister, their were too many people in such a small hall and it took forevor to get in even though we had already bought our tickets. My sister won a free night stay at the hilton though so i guess it was worth it if whe enjoys that stay.

Nice amenities. Prices for valet parking is $21 per night, and self parking per night is $19. I think these prices are pretty steep.

Beautiful Hotel, modern clean rooms, nice pool and amazing staff! Great Room service!

Attended a seminar at the international ballroom. It accommodated hundreds of attendees comfortably. The air temperature was good and the seats were comfortable enough. Lightning and projectors worked well as well.

My wife and I stayed here last night on a short notice and it was a fantastic hotel. The best service was provided by Marianne Bautista who checked us in. She was friendly, went above and beyond to check us in and to make sure we were happy. We checked in at 10Pm and checked out at 10AM, and she remembered us and greeted us by name. I travel to a lot of Hotels and by far the best check in service and front desk impression. Since I am Gold status, they offer a free breakfast buffet for 2 and it was really good. Just like the front desk, the service in the restaurant was top notch. You definitely won't go wrong with this hotel and hopefully you will be lucky enough to meet Marianne at the front desk.

Definitely a place you want to stay if you're looking to visit Pasadena and want to be treated very well, eat delicious food & a certain lever of comfort.
