Hilton Pasadena Review

First of all it's a Hilton, so their standards are still there. But it getting pretty old.

I attended a professional seminar in one of the meeting rooms at the Hilton Pasadena. The room was very nice and clean. It was well prepared for the event. There was a lunch service provided and the food was very good.

The hotel was great was suppose to have a room with a Mountain View however there was no rooms available on the higher floors. Now they should of said something at check instead of getting to the room and seeing that your view was of a parking garage and not the mountains. Now you are probably asking your self why a 5 star rating. Well it was because of the manager on duty ( I wish I could remember her name) she was great, it was not the normal I m sorry BS they normally give you. Don t get me wrong she did apologize but was very sincere about it. Then asked what I thought would be a fair price for the room. The room was very nice. I said a 75.00 dollar a night discount would be fair. ( I was already at a discounted room rate ) she did not even hesitate she updated the system right there on the spot. Then she even sent a 6 pack of beer and peanuts to the room and gave me a night of parking free. This was done with out even asking. I really wish I could remember her name as I was really impressed and she is responsible for 98% of the 5 star rating.

Very clean rooms, nice setup. Easy check in and out.

Hosting events but no parking. It has been repeated experiences.

Breakfast was an amazing experience. Me.Victor was very attentive to all the guest I seen him encounter. Just as well as all the other staff. The room was clean and we'll laid out with lots of places to plug in my devices for charging and they all worked!!!! That's rare...

Ehhh. There were no roaches............other than that ehhh..

We ve had a truly wonderful stay. The entire staff was helpful and welcoming. Many went above and behind. Having worked for many hotels in the past, I know how rare it is to have a staff that as a whole, from the front desk to housekeeping, and valet, is on their game every single day because they want to do the best job they can. And y all got that going for you. A couple of things: My husband and I were here for 5 days (he was here on business) and I had my 1 year old w/ me. Everyone was so thoughtful, accommodating, helpful, and kind. Jamie who checked us in was great (super helpful). I d also like to mention the woman who helped us in the restaurant almost every morning. I have forgotten how to spell her name, but it starts with an A. She was so kind to my daughter and beyond helpful to us. Everyone at breakfast was phenomenal. Thank you again, and we will be staying here again soon!

Great location, accommodating and friendly staff. Extremely comfortable bed with a balcony facing a lovely city view.

The people that work here are so nice. Hotel renovations make your visit worth while.

We didn t stay @ the hotel but we went for a drink @ the Corner in an uncomfortable freezing lobby .

Like most of big city, the quality of hotel cannot meet the price. However overall it is clean and well maintained

Comfy beds, great service, coffee in the lobby. Pretty much all you need.

The location was perfectly located near the convention center. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!! We ordered a chicken sandwich and I have rarely had food this great! I would definitely come back.

I was about to book this hotel. Thankfully i read these reviews and I am giving one star because any hotel that can have this much unsatisfied customers especially for a brand name is a bad one.

The rooms are really nice, I'm not a fan of the bathrooms not having fully closable door, seemed weird, and their lobby is pretty small but that only matters to people who like to hang in the lobby like me and my friends. Their beds are great, staff is friendly, valet is a cool addition.

I only stayed few minutes for a function, but valet attendants were nice enough to give me a discount on the valet fee

As I was taking a very needed shower after having fought my way through the LA traffic, I looked up and saw two placards next to the sprinkler head in my Hilton hotel bathroom. They read 'Do Not Hang Items From Sprinkler Head' and 'This Will Cause Flooding'. Baffled at the prospect that people could be so careless as to hang items from a sprinkler head, and, equally baffled at the fact that someone felt that it was necessary to write the warnings in full title case, I stepped out of the shower to discover that showering also causes flooding.

Unlike any roadside motel in California, this hotel lacks free Wi-Fi, free parking and a complementary breakfast.

Rooms are nice. Stayed there only for a few hours only.

Did not like the guy in the parking lot. I have booked a room in a different hotel, they over booked and transferred me to Hilton. I was told at the front desk the parking fee anf taxes are already paid for me. But the guy in parking lot said that I have to pay for parking. He said that he did not know what I talked to front desk as if I was lying to save 18 bucks. Asked him to call front desk and his phone was not working. I was upset about this and asked him to use his cellphone. Instead of being sorry about the whole situation he rudely said that I am trying to figure it out if you let me. He was also kind of hearing impaired or something because I had to scream to make him listen. I came out of the car to shout in his ears and suddenly his manager remembered the conversation from last night and I was out of there without paying anything. Lol.

Pool was out and had to walk to the Sheraton for a swim. Also service was slow in picking up tray left outside by previous customer. We did get a microwave and mini fridge by request. Pricey parking $19 a night!

A party in a conference room. Room was great. Coffee and dessert was good. Lots of dancing. Parking was ok. Had to walk down stairs in long dress, bummed that no elevator was available.

Power outlets -everywhere-, finally!! Very nice and recently remodeled. Comfortable bed, reasonable shower (no bath though). Cafe and bar downstairs, though did not have a chance to try either. Very friendly service, and convenient location if you have business or pleasure around the Pasadena area.

VERY nice hotel. It's under construction so it's hard to get inside. But once completed it will be beautiful.

What a GREAT stay! We stayed in the Delux Queen w/mountain view. From the 8th floor the view awesome! Tons of room for 3 of us. Very clean. Front desk staff was courteous both upon check in and check out. The booking was a bit last minute and we were taken care of by the Hilton Pasadena! Definitely coming back here when we visit!

Great suite space for the event I attended. Easy location with paid and free parking available. Restrooms are clean and well stocked. Staff is courteous and always helpful.

It was a fund raiser, the service was quite good and the food was tasty considering they were serving about 500 people. Parking wasnt great.

A nice n clean place to spend a night with the family

Room and bathroom were clean and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Downsides included thin rough towels, and thin walls. We could hear muffled conversations in neighboring room, and noise from the downstairs bar due to location of our room. I woke up in the a.m. to the loud sounds of someone turning a shower on in an adjacent room.

Wifi was not free rooms r small . But atmosphere is good.

The rooms were nicely dated 90's style, hotel was completely empty. They wouldn't let me park on the property unless I paid 20 or 30$ and I am and have handicap tags. I booked the room through 3rd party but was hit with a 50$ room deposit when I checked in. It has now been 9 days since my stay and still havent recieved my deposit. When i called the operator she told me it was going to be another 5 to 7 days till I will receive my deposit back. Not very cool of the hilton to rack up bougus charges during the covid19 pandemic and then hold on to customers deposits for 2weeks+. I will no longer be a loyal hilton hotel customer anymore "no matter how beautiful Paris Hilton is"

Good location for SCaLE conference and generally good amenities. A little pricey on the parking but ok if you valet.

Walked by to visit a event, staff are super friendly and the place is really clean.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I got in and out quickly and there were no hassles. Bed was one of the best hotel beds I have slept in, in a while. I recommend this hotel.

We attended a Xmas party, staff was great and very attentive.

I went to a work conference, it was good. The best thing was that the bar was close, the waitress Yani was very nice.
