Okay hotel very good staff, air doesn't work, brok...
Okay hotel very good staff, air doesn't work, broken windows, weird but fun bars open later than the surrounding bars, central location, decent for sure.

Comically atrocious. Dirty windows, furniture in the room worn and frayed, bathroom fittings loose in the room and water damaged in the public toilets. Stayed here for a business conference with meals and the food was also not worth the price we paid.
very busy place, 15min queue for check in & breakfast. not a good neighbourhood
Very nice lobby and surprisingly good cocktails for a hotel bar. Top floor restaurant is poor. Desperately in need of doing something better with the space, view is great but wasted by the ambience and furnishing. Staff need better training in restaurant!
Respected staff
Great hotel
Hilton Hotels are much the same all over with odd exception. All at one time would have been a very good hotel to stop at all that I have stopped at have been fully functional but tired and dated and showing signs of years of traffic. Imo you need a cheap room rate to stay at one otherwise there are better hotels to stay at.
Not the best rock hard bed no glasses to drink from just paper cups for the money it s poor
Hotel near the Edgward Road stop, the attention of the great staff, the rooms a bit outdated, the pool fine but it has no jacuzzi or sauna, the executive lounge very well with food, drink and even free alcohol for those who have that service included.
To visit London is pretty good, it is not a cheap hotel.
After a really poor and delayed lunch at the metropole I was charged a ridiculous charge to park by their appointed parking company just park within the hotel which issues no receipts. I chased a receipt but after 3 request they refuse to issue one. Overall a miserable fusttrating experience. If you can rectify the situation and get me a receipt I would consider updating this review to reflect this
Great hotel in the heart of London Great staff and rooms.
we stayed 4 nights in April 2013. great service and convenient location all underground edgware road. ... wonderful breakfast. ... excellent reception at the reception and excellent staff availability both for tourist information and practice. .. possibility of access to the room PC to make free the first 24 h, check in online with british airways. ....
Location is great, close to Paddington. Rooms are nice and clean. Service has been outstanding.
For what looks like a very nice hotel, I was disappointed with the night I spent there. While the room was a good size, the phone didn't work and the selection of TV channels was very limited. If you like hard beds, this is the place for you! The staff was nice, and the hotel is close to Paddington Station and the Underground.
I will try another hotel the next time I stay in London.
Changed the rating from 3 to 2 after experinecd the other Hilton / Doubletree Hotels in London. This the worst customer service I ever experienced. Discrimination. No sense of underatanding. I've never book this hotel anymore. Once is enough.
A very nice hotel near the airport, the breakfast was great.
big hotel. like shopping mall. always get a london black cab the mini cabs rip you off big time from this hotel.
That place was ammmaaaazing! It was like a small village! It was so fancy! I have go back there!
Nice hotel with a lovely view on most floors, lower floors however have a wall blocked view and the rooms aren't as nice, the little extra you pay for a deluxe rooms is definitely worth it.
It was OK. Clean, but nothing like other Hilton hotels.
Very professional and extremely helpful staff. Event was well catered and well organised. Hopefully we will be back there again next year.
Dated.
Bored.
Lacklustre.
Desperately in need of modernising, and improving. Feels like an abandoned hospital or a block of council flats.
Horrid. Just admire the delightful 1970s formica table tops. Damaged and dirty bath, splash stained light shade. Windows that don't open not even a crack. Noise aircon. Horrid shower and dirty floors.
The bar at the top is sad, tired and really just a bit pathetic.
Also the WiFi has to be paid for as extra and the cost is extortionate... See photo provided.
Superb hotel with a high standard in all areas. From the reception, through the cafe/bar near reception, to the conference rooms and finally the bedrooms. This hotel never disappoints. Highly recommended.
Nice service at the bar, large open spaces with plugs if you need to work
Friendly staff, many speak French. Always ready to inform you. 2nd stays here and I would go back. Heated pool. Hammam and sauna ... various very pleasant service. Very comfortable room whether singles or doubles.
I stayed here in the tower room. The room was claustrophobic and the bathroom tiny. Since we stayed with a large group the breakfast was arranged for us in the lower levels but was good. The staff seemed helpful. The location is good and access to the tube is at a walking distance. M&S is right across the road.
For the rooms alone I won't like to stay here again.
Great location, just 5 minutes walk from Paddington station
Sports bar was nice but tv quality was poor and fuzzy.
Fantastic location with delecious breakfast but A/C is not cold during summer
Enjoyed my stay at the hotel after a long trip and more than 36 hours of travel, hotel staff were very friendly and quick to move me to a quiet room when they discovered my room was a bit noisy. Customer service also called me just to confirm everything went well with my transfer to the new room. After this experience, I am sure to book the Hilton Metropole when I m in London and save the time looking at other hotels online.
Very nice hotel on Edgware rd has nice feel about the place and you can relax in the evenings and just relax there are plenty of designer shops.
Booked an executive king room for 5 nights. Very spacious rooms with nice decor and nice large bed. However, service not at all upto the mark and way below the 4 star standard. The mini fridge wasn't working, and the hotel staff kept quiet for 2 days knowing that fact that the fridge is not working. My milk got spoilt and my baby missed a day's milk. When complained they send a new fridge but the fridge should have been changed before my check in as they knew about the faulty fridge. Secondly, requested for extra pillow twice and it came after 2 days. Thirdly, the breakfast in the lounge was sub standard and the service was really v v poor. The staffs lacked basic courtesy, except one, who was sitting in the reception of executive lounge and was v warm and friendly. Except for this one lady all others were either rude or not bothered about the guests. I guess the service really needs to be improved for the price of 24k per night.
Fantastic hotel have stayed here many times and the service has always been great. Near the tube station and the high floor rooms have excellent views of the City.
Nothing to write home about. Rooms are slightly coming of age. Service and staff attentive and friendly. Breakfast (if not already included in your room rate) not much of a bang for your buck. Starbucks and Pret are in absolute vicinity.
Decent hotel, provides sauna and swimming pool and its located bang smack in the middle of edgware road.
You can enjoy the middle eastern cuisines on edgware road, then sleep in comfort.
Helpful staff, big clean roos, yummy family hilton restaurant!
Very listening between the rooms. Newly refurbished but looks like it's done by kids. The bed is so hard that it is only beaten by beds in Greece. Housekeeping was unable to do the job between 0900 and 1630 and arrived at the door first 1800. All in all, not worth the money.
Unbalanced in its price-quality ratio. A lot of staff and service efficient, a bit too much ... the cleaner knocks on the door every day before nine and is coming to clean up . The rooms are slightly worn, the beds are hard and the bedding is uncomfortable. The hotel has large and majestic public areas. Location near Hyde Park.
It is in a very good area and well connected and the rooms are great.
Great service, check in and check out experience. Breakfast had many options to choose from. Close to Paddington station and Edgeware Road. Very much convenient location for public transport.
big, nice, crowded hotel but still the service is really good the staff are friendly2 everything is like at home
Rooms are just ok, tired and dated which is a shame as downstairs, the lobby and restaurants are very nice with lots of choice plus a starbucks!
Fantastic hotel, brilliant service,WiFi not free ): excellent food
Might as well stayed in a travelodge for a 1/4 of the price tv never worked rooms dated and old no where to eat didn't even stay the night checked out and they said sorry we can not refund u anything
It's vibrant, a very lovely little heaven.if you end up there with the right person of course lol
Great location and great service. Breakfast was a higligt in the morning. Also the pool.
Generally nice, but not matching the rating it's given
Second visit here. Great location for access to City.
Forex event, receptionist for it was quite unprofessional
Good hotel however staff lacks training and does not do a good job. Reception staff some are very good but there are others who are rude. Consistency is missing.
Luxurious in the common area because the rooms are small and the luxury is gone for many years
Perfect business hotel. Perfect hotel for a London visit. The Metropole may not be as central as other hotels, but 3 underground lines at the stop nearby, lots of restaurants in walking distance. Friendly staff. Hotel renovated including rooms. This is the perfect mix of price and location and quality.
Excellent hotel. Very busy and in central London. Lifts take a while to get you to level G
Bad Placement. Some of the staff was hard to talk to. But like the rooms. But when you meet the right staff they are very helpfull
The event was held in the monarch suite which was nice and spacious. It was a great experience and leant alot from the Wealth Dragons (John Lee)
Fantastic hotel. Great lobby friendly staff. The kings suite was very comfortable
I've visited the Hilton London Metropole to use the Green Motion Car Rental Service, to which they host an office. I have been utterly appalled by the service I received at Green Motion and, therefore, am reviewing the Hilton as they enable this particular Green Motion office and I therefore consider them partly responsible. Green Motion are a dishonest, greedy and unethical rental company who hide charges and dishonestly withhold deposits for an unethically long period of time - if you are a guest at this Hilton - I advise you NEVER to use their car rental company. I have spoken to their customer service on multiple occasions, who are rude and unhelpful and merely advised me to speak to the local franchise holder, who has never replied to me. I advise Hilton to think carefully about the business they are hosting in their hotel and to use their good name and good faith to do the right thing and stop dishonest business practices.
Park on harbet rd for pick up/ drop off. From edgware rd heading towards a40 go past Metropole, turn left and left again.
