This hotel is excellent for an Ibis. That may seem like being damned by faint praise but it's not intended as that. Ibis is a budget chain and very good at what it does. This feels like a proper hotel with an even more proper pub!
Great access to West Brompton station and short walk to Fulham Broadway & Stamford Bridge.
Loads of restaurants & pubs around.
I like rooms overlooking The Bridge but odds are you'll have a view of Wembley if you're on other side, whilst a bit more distant it's great when the arch is lit.
This is just a great hotel.

Overall it was a great experience! The location was amazing! Can't get closer to the tubes!! I will mention that the staff promises they will take care of little things, and for the most part they do. Watch out for the mini bar. We were charged for lifting things out to look at them, but had no idea we were charged, even though we put it back. We mentioned what we did to the staff a couple times during our stay. Each time they assured us that they would take care of it. They never did. Our bill was charged $30.00 plus even though we mentioned it to the manager at least twice. Also we were charge some internet charge of $13.00 even though our wifi through Hilton was supposed to be free as a guest. Overall our stay was amazing and I would definitely stay here again. Just don't touch the mini bar...at all!! Hope this helps!!

My stay at this place was a real disappointment. The only two positive things were the offerings in the executive lounge as well as the good internet connection.
Nonetheless, my stay was messed up by the lack of power outlets in the bed area as well as the non-functioning A/C unit. The latter war a real nightmare. The room was as cold as they get and my first phone call to the front desk lead to no action on their part. I called them a second time and then they decided to send their maintenance man over. That gentleman attempted to take me for a fool. I explained that the A/C does not produce any heat at all. I was turning up the temperature with the control button but it kept blowing cold air. All this dude did was hit the temperature control button once and place his hand in front of the register claiming that it was warming up. That was a great solution. Brushing off an issue in the hopes of it fading away. Just the attitude of that individual is enough for me not to come back. I will certainly not come back considering the conduct of this fella combined with the defective A/C and lack of power outlets in the bed area. That was my first and the last stay in this hotel. There is tons of hotels in London. Hence, there is no need to frequent that place any longer as far as I am concerned. I read plenty of reviews posted by fellow travelers mentioning the issue of defective A/C units, I would say the attitude of the hotel management is embarrassing. I guess this is their service standards as they either do not seem to get it together or plainly do not give a hoot.

The only thing saving this hotel from a one star r...

The only thing saving this hotel from a one star rating would probably be it location and good food: the breakfast buffet offers many options and has great staff, and the hotel itself is situated in front of a supermarket and underground station.

However, the rooms and hotel are rather old fashioned and shabby, not exactly worth their price. There is a blatant lack of working power outlets (not even their bathroom has an outlet for their own blow dryer), no interruptors make sense, the bathrooms have incredibly loud plumbing and the shower heads are barely strong enough to allow you to efficiently wash your hair. The overall ambiance of the room isn't exactly romantic nor comfortable, not to forget that the beds are uncomfortable enough to throw your back out.

I believed I'd had bad luck with my room alone, though came to notice that many of my friends who also stayed here had faced similar problems, if not worse ones: no hot water, wallpaper coming off of the wall, hotel room door seemingly partly burnt, very hot rooms due to poor air conditioning (as well as the problems myself had faced).

+ The public bathrooms had defective facilities (sinks and hand dryers not turning on).

I think this hotel surely once was chic, but it'd be in need of some refreshing. I'd reconsider before booking if spending lots of time at your hotel is part of your traveling plan, or if you plan on booking for a conference with many clients.

Reviewing as a contractor. Have delivered to various events here for many years. Unloading / Loading can be an issue, as parking space is limited on Harbet Rd.
But parking on double yellows is safe.
Access via goods lift takes you straight to conference rooms. Or pedestrian entrance off Harbet Rd is close to lifts and stairs.
Conference rooms are large, well lit and have plenty of services.

This is probably the worst hotel I have stayed at ...

This is probably the worst hotel I have stayed at in my adult life. We pulled up on a rainy day hoping for a bellman to help with our luggage; nope! Our suite was very odd in configuration. You never knew what lights would turn on or off with the wall switches. To get into the shower we had to step up over 12 inches; difficult for someone with bad knees! The air-condition worked sometimes and not other times. The food in the executive lounge was horrible. It appears that the standard response from the hotel to reviews is that they are sorry and major renovations will be taking place. Thats all well and good and hopefully they will no longer need to use the air freshener through out the hotel that smells like someone dumped some very strong and horrible cologne all over the place. Trying to get the smell out of our room was futile as most of the staff speak or understand very little English. The odor is problematic for some one with migraine sensitive to strong odors. Our room was also very noisy from street noise, especially ambulance sirens, pervasive through out the day and night. The decor is hideous! The lighting in the bathroom is horrible and there are no air vents in there. There was one young lady who worked in the executive lounge most mornings who is delightful. Unfortunately I don't recall her name.
My advice: pick another hotel until all of the promised renovations are completed. Its just not worth the price.

We paid A LOT of money for our two nights stay. We encountered a bunch of problems all very poorly dealt with by the staff. Check in took forever. Car service was more than one hour late. We waited for concierge to help us with our luggage for more than 40 minutes. We suspect we had bed bugs in our room and was not compensated at all for this. Duty manager Peter promised to have our room checked by pest control and then report back to me regarding their answer and compensation. I have not heard back at all. I am most disappointed at this hotel and the prices in contrast to the service is outrageous. Nerver again a Hilton hotel! On the plus side the room was clean and the hotel had an excellent location.

Huge hotel and a bit of a maze, with not enough lifts for the number of rooms. Rooms a bit tired but bar area was well designed with a long bar.
I prefer smaller hotels with friendly staff, but if you prefer to be anonymous, at least you know what you are getting with a Hilton hotel.

Avoid a room in the tower block. The whole place is in need of an update. Bathroom was pretty dire, small and in need of replacing. The changing rooms for the gym were pretty grim.and nothing like Hilton's I have stayed in over the last couple of years.

On the plus side the bars and Whisky lounge etc were bang up to date.

I can't comment on other rooms in the east or west wings.

If you get out in the tower, think premier in rather than Hilton.

Stayed here recently (weekend of 28th August).

Let's start with the car park: designed decades ago, but never was designed for 4x4 vehicles. I don't have a 4x4 however the car park showed me a couple of things, which was the very poor standards of parking for those who own 4x4 (parking in 2 bays, diagonal etc) and once the 4x4 are parked - how you even gotten out the vehicle must have been a mission due to the doors not being able to open due to virtually touching the cars either side lol.

Reception and check-in: due to the size of the hotel (can handle 1000 guests at The same time) it's evident the staff are churning out a cattle market. No personal touch to any conversation nor designed to help too much. My personal checkin was straight forward.

Breakfast: cattle market, with cold toast, rubber eggs and hoards of kids running wild.

Room: decent size, tired looking - bathroom acceptable but battered. Beds springs coming through.

Location of the hotel is perfect. 10 mins walk to Oxford Street etc. Plenty of restaurants on your doorstep with it being in front of Edgware road.

A very battered and haggered Hilton. I understand why after reading the reviews that it's the worst of the Hilton hotels. I don't even want to imagine what it's like after being at 100% capacity.

Good location, close to tube station. Tower wing rooms are starting to look a little dated, but I think they have refurbished rooms in other wings. The car park is very, very tight. Was a challenge in a Golf, would be almost impossible in a larger car.

Writing on behalf of my father: "Very disappointing. Had a problem with our check-in and the lady at the front desk did absolutely nothing to help. She said everyone was super busy so ... Anyway, after we sorted it out on our own, we went to the lobby bar for a drink to unwind and waited for maybe 30 min bc the bartender forgot our drinks, then got very upset at us about it. Had to take my medicine in the room so I opened the mini-fridge for some water and found absolutely nothing inside. Why would one even put a fridge in a room, turn it on and let it gobble electricity if there's nothing in it anyway? But my main problem was with the unwelcoming and neglectful attitude which was wound in almost every aspect of our experience with this hotel."
How's that for a nice couple's trip? My family has stuck with Hilton over many years and destinations, but this was the last time we did. All things come to an end and you should never feel like you're essentially paying for a hotel's long past glory instead of enjoying your own trip here and now.

I was here last week and I really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful hotel. My room was really huge, I was here with my mum and we had two big super comfortable beds. The view from our room was amazing, we had a big window that was looking at the London streets. The location was also great, Metro and Bus Station were 2 minutes from the hotel.
At the evening we went for a drink at the sky bar at the top of the hotel, and in the morning we enjoyed in a rich breakfast. The staff was really kind and helpful, I just loved it :)

I stayed in this hotel 4 times, the best rooms are located in the West wing but without beautiful seen. If you want a good seen take the tower section (East side) considering that the rooms are updated without a good finishing. Generally the hotel is great but expensive for a 4 star rated hotel. The reason for me to comeback is because of its location on Edgware road (also called Arab Road).

Best thing about this Hotel is the location on Edgware Road, loads of halal eateries and restaurants, Paddington basin just round the corner, with the superb fan bridge, brilliant, peaceful walk at night after a big meal. Hotel rooms clean and reasonable value for the central london location.

Clean, large-size rooms for London. The staff was extremely professional, courteous and responsive. Lots of dining options in the hotel and within walking distance. Close to two Tube stops and Paddington Station for ease of travel to/from Heathrow.

Terrible hotel, asked for a taxi they tried to send a private car that was nearly twice as expensive as the far cheaper london taxis on the rank outside. These are best as the traffic is horrendous and use bus lanes

The rooms are good, clean and we even had a thrilling view of the big city. Parts of the lobby staff and breakfast were incredibly friendly and talked to us very nicely for some time. Special requests were fulfilled and there was even a greeting from the kitchen and an extra dessert. The breakfast was busy and you had to wait a few minutes in the morning every now and then, but we always needed a table for 5. All in all it is a great hotel in a good location and we would love to come back.

Lovely overall hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. Main function room that we were at was modern and we'll equipped with sound and lighting systems. The downstairs conference rooms were a little dated.
