Very disappointed reception and food was not at the appointment
Structure clean but dated, not 5 stars, egyptian style food, 3/4 of us with gastroenteritis ... persinale very nice and helpful; except pharmacy inside the hotel that for two drugs x gastroenteritis has asked me 250 le (qs 12.50 ) that compared to Italian drugs is little, but the price stamped was 20 times less !!! I refused to take them and the slightly more distant pharmacy throughout the 25 (equivalent of 1 ) ... helping you, but not be fooled!
Loved the hotel, a bit more quality in drinks will be welcomed, beside that, wonderful!Lovely staff and comfy rooms!
Very good hotel with accessible location. Traditional Hilton hospitality and welcoming staff. Excellent continental breakfast with a variety of options. Beach and pool with aqua park for kids.
Good rooms and nice buffet meals on all inclusive. A bit noisy and in public rooms.
Very comfortable, cheerful and cozy place. Very helpful staff with maximum support. Affordable price in return of excellent services.
It s already very good in Egypt.
Internationally, only 4 stars can be counted.
Nice pool, garden, beach, food and staff.Everything else is average rooms are old, .... reality is 3 to 4 stars and miles away from 5 ....
Very nice hotel, nice rooms and nice private beach. The buffet is plentiful but the lobby and restaurant above are very noisy. Friendly staff
Friendly staff, great swimming pool and good private beach
+ beach, pool, customer service, large and clean room.
-the food little variable and unhealthy. We had to buy pills for gastroenteritis
Better to ask for a taxi at the hotel for 5 euros, a 20-minute ride to the city center than on the street.
And the best option is to use Uber. It comes out more ecinomico
The rooms were as advertised. The food was ok. The wifi is horrendous! It only works in the lounge. We paid for in-room wifi but received a refund because it didn't work.
Wonderful ambience excellent service and cleanliness of the hotel and swimming pools
The 5th time in Hurgade, the first time in this resort.
Great hotel / resort!
Very well-kept accommodation, very clean rooms and friendly staff from housekeeping to reception!
We felt really good.
We only come to this resort!
The accommodation is very beautiful
But the hotel needs maintenance and furniture renewal
Eating is above average
The staff is very respectful
The aqua park is beautiful and fun for adults or kids
Rooms are good, hotel is great. There is a beach side and a big pool. There is no free wifi in rooms, and thats bad
The service is fantastic, the sea is wonderful! We'll be coming back soon ...
Good service, fresh produce, varying and many fun food dishes, as well as a host of activities and courteous staff.
Cleanliness okay, many traders who want to sell tours, massages, snorkeling, etc. within the hotel complex. Wi-Fi only in the lobby, and with many users rather bad. For an additional charge, there is also Wi-Fi in the room. Clean beach, partly with service. There are also entertainers, as well as events in the evening. The hotel is not in the center, in front of the hotel there is a taxi rank. The food at the buffet is busy, you have to like it. There are also a la carte restaurants. The gym is very clean, some appliances were broken. Overall, a rather conservative, dignified hotel, not a cool location.
Tiny room then they pushed an extra bed in which made it really cramped.
Room wasn't ready when we arrived at 10pm, then room keys didn't work, poor staff management. At least the weather is nice.

If you're a seasoned traveller you'll already know that a 5* holiday hotel is not the same as a 5* international hotel, you get what you pay and in this case stunning value.
Suffice to say we enjoyed this hotel tremendously, a UK 3* in my book. We statyed at Chritsmas 2019, these folks really know how to do Christmas!!!
Friendly staff, good food, nice surroundings. Food similar to a cruise ship self-serve buffet.
Breakfast:
Pancakes, omelettes, cereals, fresh fruits, cold meats, pastries, toast & rolls etc.
Lunch & dinner:
salads, 2 types of soups, pasta, rice, varied, potatoes, fish, turkey, Chicken, beef, lamb
Deserts mainly elaborate sponge-based and often very sweet, profiteroles, Iliebollen, lots of fresh fruits.
4G coverage in Egypt is very good as they focus on major holiday resorts (incl. Nile Cruises) and towns. We drove from Hugurdad to Luxor and had 95+% coverage at least. Many modern smartphones are SIM unlocked but check before you leave.
Evening entertainment was very basic, just a few female dancers and then some blokes doing handstands clearly in love with themselves :-)
There was a lone guitarist and sax player later some nights.
On some evenings the hotel held a noisy kids session in the main lounge area up until 9pm so we sat outside.
Nice pool bar, all inclusive recommended, includes cakes after breakfast and afternoon ice cream. Unfortunately there aren't any dedicated smoking areas so we just hid the ash trays where we sat.
Hotel also has its own private beach and beach snack bar which did pizzas, chips etc. Hotel provides 'do not disturb' signs to stop peddles bothering you.
The room wall sockets are regular European 2 pin style, TVs have HDMI and USB sockets so, if you really can't live without TV you could always bring your own video content on a USB stick or HDMI enabled tablet as just the main European channels are avail (BBC world, France 24 etc,). Remember iPlayer and Netflix let you download content before you leave. For serious geeks VPN access works fine in the hotel reception all be a bit sluggish, I heard similar stories for the paid WiFi in rooms the same.
There is a 24 ATM\note changer in reception rates are good with a modest commission. Also a small bank on site.
We found it best to avoid using a debit\credit cards as for trips as in our case priced in UK pounds but then converted and billed to US $ which UK banks would have covert back again, this could put 20% on the overall cost. Mileage may vary of course, bottom line is sterling notes work well here, $ bills or Egyptian small notes easier for tips. Using a public loo often attracts a 5 Egyptian pound payment though I noticed some people ignored the charge.
Big big Caveat, 2 types of room, main hotel rooms and 'villa\apartments' over the road. Main hotel rooms spacious and lovely, several people told us some villas were in a poor state and being refurbished. Best to check with your agent before you leave and insist on a main hotel room if you can depending on how much you've paid. Hotel has its own taxi but local taxis are cheaper, ask for price before you jump in.
The local area felt very safe, lots of Police we're told focusing on tourism.
All in all a nice safe country with lovely people.
For the price in the room the furniture is not new but we came to rest and not to sit in the room.
Beautiful. Music every night. Very pleasant atmosphere.
Old, aged, hotel , mediocre services, high prices. All you can eat option is of low standard. More like an office canteen than a five star hotel kitchen. Staff are great and try really hard but this hotel is at its worst and not at all of Hilton standard. What does work for it are the lovely grounds and pool area. For the rest it is not worth the money. Best to wait until the buildings are renovated as they are still stuck in the 90's
Will be back because we had our happy ending
The hotel has two facilities which are separated by a one-way street. Those who book a villa are on the right-hand side and always have to walk across the street to eat and go to the beach, a bag or backpack is useful here.
The main building has a lobby directly at the entrance, an Italian restaurant on the left and the reception on the right.
During our stay in the hotel, larger groups of Asians and Nielkreuzfahrt groups were accommodated again and again, which led to chaotic conditions in the reception area and the lobby, because the seating options are then exhausted very quickly.
In the reception hall, it is also possible to swim in the outdoor pool, but this does not currently seem possible for technical reasons, perhaps the area is covered with slabs standing on stilts, so more seats for the guests or as an action area for musicians, animation team create. That would be my idea.
Here is my room impression
Regarding the room rating, I have to say that we had some problems at the beginning of the holiday, the first room 7016, the bathroom was not clean and the first spare room 7162 (which we could freely choose from two offered and with which we were also satisfied) there was a technical defect in the boiler in the bathroom, it was changed in 10 minutes (faster service class) but with the support of our tour guide from World to meet (Mo Salah) and the hotel manager Essam Mogleith who upgraded us to one of the newly renovated Room 1210 and free wifi for three devices (otherwise chargeable), compensated for the inconvenience.
The new rooms have a large walk-in shower, lighted mirrors, plenty of storage space in the drawers and cupboards. Of course the beds were very comfortable.
We were happy in this room and enjoyed our vacation.
Thank you Mr. Essam Mogleith (Hotel Manager) and
Mr. Mo Salah our tour guide from World to Meet
Our personal impression of the service:
The service is very good.
In the event of problems, there is quick and uncomplicated help and solutions. Knowledge of English is very useful.
The staff is always friendly and our wishes for the breakfast egg (well donated) were always fulfilled.
As usual in Egypt, a TIP is very useful and the staff is happy.
On the beach, the towel service by Ibrahim A. Elaal is great, we always had our desired lounger and good service.
At the beach bar and the bar lobby, we and Israa and her colleagues always had excellent and friendly service.
If other guests write that the service at this hotel is poor, they should perhaps change their own behavior.
The food was enough for us and our demands, the preparation tasted good, salt and pepper are on the table, so you can add seasoning. A large variety of dishes awaited us in the Peppels on the 1st floor. Here you should already queue up at 6.30 p.m., otherwise you might have to wait until a place is available again, unfortunately the restaurant is too small for the number of guests, especially if a large number of new guests arrive at mealtime and rush them to eat immediately. The offer on the beach is of course not that extensive and here too there are too few seats if you go to eat from 1 p.m. Personally, I missed the serving of French Fries (fries) in Peppels, these are only available on the beach, where you can also have lunch, but not in the evening. For some dishes it is not enough just potatoes, rice and the like. to range.
New March 2019
We have booked again and are currently on our own beach where we are looked after by Ibrahim again. He always makes sure that we feel comfortable. He make his job very very good. 5 ***** for him
No where near 5 ..... place is very run down, front desk staff have a chip on their shoulder.. think they can play god... moved us mid holiday with no notice and lied to our holiday rep when we complained about our treatment.... only good thing about the place is we wont be going back..... Hilton need to get this hotel sorted out... dragging their good name through the mud.... ended up with building work onsite and next door, work started at 7.30am and shook us out of bed daily!
Gibberish and shame. The level of Odesa's'European 'period.
I like the hotel. I really enjoyed the hospitality and the pool was our favorite place. We like animation team. The staff was friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Annika from the Animationteam
Great hotel, everything was very clean. Nice spacious rooms, lovingly furnished. Very courteous staff!
Changing shows and animation program. From Egyptian tradition to modern times.
Very large, fresh, changing buffet with international cuisine and Arabic specialties!
Incredibly large, clean and intact pool area
Diving school on the hotel complex highly recommended! (me as an experienced diver)
Very loving dealings with children and newcomers.
German-speaking instructor present.
There is a nice souvenir shop across the street that also sells shishas, far cheaper than your own in the hotel.
Gladly again, see you next time!
Perfect for family travel. The weather is gorgeous in winter although windy at night. There are plenty of pools for kids and adults. Water games are pretty cool for having fun.
When it is fish day, do not leave the buffet whatever happens. Sea food is always fresh at coastal places like Hurghada.
Animation team is so friendly and taking care of your kids.
My stay was wonderful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was awesome the beach and the pool was great.
The only thing that wasn't statsifying that the Wi-Fi in the rooms was with extra charge.
A resort of the most normal located in the town of HURGADA. Of which there are dozens on many coasts around the world.
Despite the name of HILTON leaves much to be desired to that category of 5 stars that they attribute to the tourist brochures (perhaps a high three or a low room, according to Spanish standards, would be more appropriate).
The cleaning in common areas is clearly improved, especially tables that have not received a vallet for cleaning them for a long time. On the beach there are times when the thunderous music makes the idea of relaxation and rest a utopia.
But the worst, by far, are the rooms. Old, poorly maintained and dirty. They remind me of our hotel rooms almost half a century ago. The attached photos say it all.
Clean rooms, excellent sea view , clean pools, but the food is very very bad !
(Stay from 03/15 to 03/30) Stay booked with Promovacances, no one from their home to welcome us, introduce us to the hotel and tell us what we were entitled to (All exclusive) Great hotel staff, except 2 or 3 More
I liked. The food is not the best, but you can rest well.
Old worn no service
Drinks don't go at all
Tables are wiped down once a day
Never ever again
Great service and amenities very nice and helpful stuff like the pool and the beach animation is great. We had so much fun and it's a great family destination not the first time to visit.
Too many dysfunctions in the rooms. WiFi point in the lobby very noisy.
This is the worst hotel in Hurghada.
C'est le pire hotel de tout Hurghada.
Choose any other hotel in Hurghada but not this one if you want good vacations. Mercure, Giftun, steigenberger, sea gull, Sindbad are really ten times better. This Hilton is absolutely not a 5 stars hotel, maybe 3. The first day we arrive at 14:30 and our room were ready at 17:10, quite bad. Too much sound in the restaurant, you can't here someone sitted in front of you. The food is not good. Too much good potential but the management is too bad.
A place to add and comfortable ... but there is one of the foreigners Balmoyha on the outskirts of the pools
One of the supreme places you can hit up while on a tour. The place is huge. With every possible luxurious activities for you. And with all the necessary services. You can literally live life king size here.
Fantastic hotel, beautiful room, wonderful food and most of all staff who really excel
Large spacious Hilton chain holiday hotel on the Red Sea Riviera (sic). Nice spacious rooms and good facilities. The food is plentiful but bland, seemingly to cater for the Belarus/Ukraine clientele. You can't get a spicy kofte or a kebab here for love or money.... The staff are friendly and try hard to please.

2 weeks a good holiday, as a family, spent with 2 school children. We were satisfied. It is an international hotel. Englishmen, Russians, Germans, Egyptians were there. Food and service very good. Half of the hotel is currently being renovated (completely abandoned part of the hotel) big shortcoming for us were the bad to mediocre e animation, which consisted of young people who were not trained. Not to compare with animation, shows, children's program, in other hotels. That was disappointing ... Here the hotel seems to save well.
After many Egypt vacations in good 4 * hotels, we thought we would treat ourselves to a 5 * hotel, but we were disappointed:
Location: The hotel is in close proximity to the airport, but we didn't feel disturbed by the aircraft noise. The resort is nicely laid out and has a lovely sandy beach. Complexes are currently being renovated, they are nicely suspended and you hardly notice anything about the construction project, but this should have been pointed out on the website when booking.
Reception: This lady welcomed us very nicely and helped us a lot in the end because our flight was canceled.
Room: The room was "clean" but shabby, the furniture is showing its age and the tile joints in the bathroom urgently need to be repaired. The cleaning was okay, but the used glasses were often not renewed and on some days the shower bath and the coffee were not refilled.
Pools and beach: the beach was always clean in the morning and there were enough loungers available, but no cups were collected in between. The beach bar was okay, but you also wish you had better service at lunch in a 5 * hotel. The pools are both showing their age, broken tiles and missing joints as well as the ladders urgently need to be replaced. The pool bar by the large pool was very well managed, it was apparently clean and the drinks were well prepared. The pool bar at the smaller pool in the relaxation area (V10) was very disappointing. The bar was apparently not prepared for daily operation, it was dusty and the service employee sat comfortably with the lifeguard over a cigarette and the mobile phone.
Kitchen: The breakfast was okay, selection of fruit and vegetables, desserts, variety of bread, sausage and cheese and someone was there who prepared omelets every day. These were very tasty. Lunch at the beach bar felt the same every day, but it was enough for us as a lunch snack. The evening buffet was okay, mostly themed evenings, these repeated after a week. There were different warm dishes, some freshly prepared, different salads, fruit selection and desserts. But even there I expect in a 5 * hotel that the freshly cut tuna and roast beef are not so dry that they are difficult to enjoy.
Service: Always tried, friendly but poorly trained. Order vodka orange juice, get vodka fanta or vodka mango. Espresso after dinner in the lobby, soluble Nescafe with little water, the first time I thought it was a mistake, but the next evening it was served exactly as it was, although vending machines are available. The range of drinks was also very manageable. On the first evening in the restaurant, a service employee comes to the table with a serving trolley and offers us different wines, when asked whether there are no free wines, he said no and we bought a bottle with a 25 percent discount, this discount was in the end on the Invoice not shown. From the next evening we drank the free wine, which of course was there.
Animation: The animation until April 30th. was nice and discreet, we didn't take part in shows, so we can't judge them. From May 1st there was a new team, the appearance was better suited to a 5 * hotel, that's all we can say about it. The daily live music in the lobby would have been a little more subtle, much more pleasant.
Conclusion: The hotel with the location and the beach is nice, but for us it is not sufficient in terms of price-performance ratio.
