My tire pressure alert symbol indicated possible low air pressure in a tire. All tire pressures were normal. The alert symbol was cleared from my dashboard, but reappeared after driving away 300 feet and has remained on. My tires are not losing pressure. The sensor was not repaired as expected.
Last time that my engine light was on I brought it to this branch, however, this time they turned me away to have it checked even if I came in 30 mins prior to their closing as they said there is only one person working in their service center. HOWEVER, I clearly remember that the last time I came here and my engine light was on they said they cannot detect the problem and once it is on I just need to stop by so they can take a look at it again. I even asked if someone at least check my tires as the light was on too and I just got off from work all day but they said they re closing and no one can look at it. I get it, Not their problem. What a hyundai service experience.
We had a great experience while buying our new car. Shawn was patient, relaxed, witty, and most importantly attentive. We wound up being "those people" that showed up 90 minutes before closing time.......... on a Saturday........... and decided to buy a car. The entire staff was very patient while at the same time bouncing off the walls. Salesmen rushed back and forth attending to customers needs and juggling some unknown amount of other tasks. The interactions and the way things flow was so well orchestrated. Great deal, great people, all the little bonuses.........just more reasons more people should give them a shot
My service experience went way beyond what I had expected. Austin did a phenomenal job. Our repair took longer than expected. Austin arranged for a loaner and then the next day delivered our repaired vehicle to our door. WOW!!! We have purchased our last three hyundai's from this dealership. We have been coming to this service dept for the last 14 years - Always a pleasure!

I gave you 2 stars, because you gave me my car back. Went in for my first oil change and tire rotation, pretty simple. 2hrs later they gave me another car so I could leave. They were doing an update to the car computer and would call when ready. Whenever I have my tires rotated I remove my wheel locks. Good thing I did. When i get home after a tire rotation I take my lug wrench and put the wheel locks back on. I could not break one lug loose on any of the wheels. Had to get out my 1/2" breaker bar with a steel pipe extension to break every wheel lug and torque them back on by hand. If I had a flat tire on the road I could not have changed the tire. This place scares me.
I recently bought a brand new Elantra from Hilton Head Hyundai, and was so pleased with how professional and friendly the staff were. I am so happy that I chose HH Hyundai to purchase my car from. They worked very hard to get me to the price I needed to be at, and were very helpful and friendly. I was treated like family, and to me that is worth more than getting your dream car, and I got both, thanks to them. My husband and I bought a Tucson limited from them last month. Since we live 1+ hour from this site, we communicated solely through email for a couple weeks - I spoke with Ted Sauter, Bob DelSoldo, and Christina Whitaker (when we got to the dealership) and every single one of them were amazing. Quick response time, no pressure, and made the process of buying a car that much easier. Sidenote - I contact Savannah Hyundai beforehand since they are closer - don't even bother with them, they are rude and SLOW getting back to you. Brought my Veloster turbo in with transmission problems. They quoted me about $1200 for repairs. They did the work then called me that the car is still having the same issues with it and didnt know why it was doing it. Then they called me to tell me it needs even more parts which now brought the price up to $2800. It was like they were throwing parts at the problem hoping one would fix it. I find it hard to believe that the shift solenoids, the transmission wiring harness and the transmission computer all went bad at the same time. It was a bit discouraging that the service consultant said that she personally test drove the car cause she didnt trust the service techs. My wife picked up the car today 7/3/20. She drove it home and and complained of a noise coming from under the car. I found the problem. The front driver side wheel well liner was not reattached properly and is dragging on the ground and the tire has shredded it. That is only issue one. I then opened the hood up and noticed right away that the engine cover is no longer there. The air intake was poorly reattached. None of the bolts had been tightened to hold it in place. Rev the engine and the intake shakes and rattles. Paid $2800 for service repairs and this is the quality of work I recieved. Completely unacceptable. Now I have to drive back to the dealership to retrieve the missing engine cover and have them replace the wheel well liner that is now destroyed.

The car was brought in Friday night and couldn t be looked at until Monday which was unfortunate, however, it was not the fault of any of the staff. The staff was kind and caring, responding to my questions quickly and efficiently. Once the car was inspected it only took 2 days to repair which was nice. The price was a bit high, but average compared to other dealerships.
I bought my car in November of 2019 and I have several complaints about the overall experience. This is the first car I had to in-fact buy but due to me being younger I dont have a significant credit history. The financial manager lied to me by saying I got FREE 5 year maintenance for my car when in fact it was $2,000 extra for a prepaid maintenance program that wasnt disclosed to me directly but I found out later when a packet came in the mail saying as such adding more to my car loan that I wouldn't have agreed to had I been asked initially. Again, I was lied to saying only one financial institution would accept my loan but 2 did. I later found this out when a letter came in the mail stating this and that it wasn't accepted, the other had a lower APR so my monthly payment would've been lower. My sales person Garrison kept having to leave me for some training and thus left me with others to take care of my car. I waited an hour and a half for them to 'detail' my car and then later couldn't find my floor mat for the drivers side floor. Finally I kept asking for my other cars registration to be transferred to my new one and I provided all the information to do so but it was blatantly ignored because a month later instead of receiving a new registration sticker i got a whole new plate in the mail. For anyone looking to buy a car I would suggest looking somewhere else because had this just been a single issue I wouldn't have voiced my concerns but it seems that all they care about is their bottom line and how much money they can take from your pocket without you noticing.

Attempted to purchase 2019 santa fe limited on 8/2019. While I worked on a sale price with dealership, I also started my car loan with my bank, usaa. Usaa recommended using their car buying service via the internet for members at same time. Did so and the same hardeville dealership came back with a lower price, than previously quoted me, for usaa members. Called dealership back and asked them to validate the usaa price as we had not finalized any car purchase . They refused the $300 difference. Stated limited availability. I filed complaint thru usaa, went down to Savannah dealership next day and bought exact vehicle at usaa member price listed. And got the specific santa fe, because of color, transferred from hardeville dealership to me.
My wife and I had specific expectations for the vehicle we wanted, our budget and a 'comfortable' sales experience. The staff at Peacock Hyundai Hilton Head exceeded our expectations...Garrison worked with us, provided insights & suggestions and exercised some patience. I absolutely love Hyundai since I bought my first car a 2002 that I bought in 2005 in Bluffton. I traded it in and bought a new one 2013 in Savannah. All my servicing has been done in Bluffton. The Savannah Hyundai could not believe what great shape the 2002 car was in. I'd had it for 8 years ( bought used like I said ). The top was great because it had been kept under a carport. I never had any major problem with it. I love the new style of the 2013 and have all my oil changes and servicing done at a Hyundai dealership for sure!!! People ( friends etc) ask me how I like my Hyundai car and I tell them and 2 of the people have bought one and like the cars also! I told the employees at Hyundai that I advertise for them because I really like their cars. I have driven a Santa Fe for 13 years now!! I do like the Sonata and Tucson also. JM

This is our third vehicle purchased through Peacock. Anthony, our salesman, was awesome! He got us exactly what I was looking for! He spent over 2 weeks helping us. He was personable and easy to work with. I don't think I've ever known a more kind and happy person. He worked hard to make sure I got a great deal and finance rate. We thought we would drive home a brand new vehicle with no miles but ended up with over 500 miles already on this vehicle. And also rate of interest is high for the amount we financed. 4.19%. There are better Interest rate offering in this industry around this area (Toyota was offering us 1.9% for 6 year with that same credit score). They could have offered like more like few more oil changes or other extras to compensate. Jeff Ribak was great and very pleasant.

We bought a car from Peacock Hyundai 3 months ago. We were told that we were paying an extra $2000 for a bumper to bumper warranty. However, the financier put it in as a maintenance warranty for 5 years. The financier no longer works there. This is only our second time buying a car. We trusted the peacock brand because we bought our first car from Volkswagen. But since there is no paper trail to what we were told, we basically look like we are making this up because we were lied to. Essentially what happened was the financier said we were paying $2000 for a bumper to bumper warranty- which brought a huge since of ease to me buying this car which was an older model and higher mileage. Then acted as if he was throwing in oil changes to be nice. Which of course left us with a great feeling. But when we brought the car in to get looked at (because the check engine light was on), we were told that we were only paying the $2000 for a 5 year/60k mile maintenance warranty. The financier acted as if he was doing something nice for us, but what in fact lying to us. Unfortunately it appears that this is just going to have to be a lesson learned and that we will not get an actual resolution except for canceling our (now known to be, maintenance) warranty.

Questionable service. Brought in for driver side headlight on/off. Could not dup issue. But the confusing part...why did it take almost 2 hours of waiting to then have service advisor to announce " you're all set"? As soon as I started car, got the error message. Returned following day for complete new headlamp Assembly. The service receipt lists the part AND the error code # caused by connection "short". On first visit, Service should have confirmed code & had me on my way in 15 minutes. Keeping customers waiting 2 hours does not build brand loyalty. Twilight Zone management.

Waited late and helped us get the car my sister wanted. The sales guy was a little clueless but the manager Matt was very helpful and made sure to answer any and all questions to get the deal done. We have since had an issue with the details of the extended warranty and still Matt has been helpful in trying to resolve the issue.
Jeff was great. He let me in to the dealership before their listed opening time, took me straight to the vehicles I wanted to drive, didn t push for anything extra that I didn t want or need. Absolutely excellent service all around.
Savannah was so kind and helpful. This was my 2nd time in the service dept. The first was a month ago when I had a low tire and was on my way back to Illinois. I stopped in with no appointment, and she was more than willing to have someone look at the car. Turned out, I had a nail and needed a patch. Thank goodness I had not tried to drive back. Today was my first actual service appointment, having moved here and now having near 6000 miles on the car. She explained what would be done, and that it was all covered. And again, so accommodating and nice. Great service!!!!!!
The only reason I'm giving this review as high as four stars is due to the outstanding professionalism of the general manager of Hilton Head Hyundai, Angelo. Otherwise this would be two stars at best. When I bought my vehicle, I was charged an additional $494 "closing fee" that the website clearly stated was included in the price, and was charged $500 more than the written and specific e-price quote I received. When I pointed this out, I was quickly refunded the $494 but the sales manager, Matt, adamantly refused to honor the written price quote and refused to refund me the $500 I was overcharged, even after he learned I had received a specific written price quote and had received legal advice I was on sound footing. I was finally able to contact GM Angelo and he quickly made everything in this regard right, for which I am thankful. But then....I received a hefty tax bill from Jasper County because either Matt or someone else lost the registration for my trade-in. This was after I clearly told them at the time of sale the registration was in the glove compartment. Not to mention Matt's final offer for my trade-in was far below Kelly Blue Book's value, even for a car with mechanical difficulties (my trade-in had a minor problem which could have been easily corrected, according to my mechanic in Ridgeland.) In short, I am not impressed by the sales manager, and I can see why there is a protester outside the dealership often. By the way, I talked to the protester, and the way he was treated, if his story is accurate, was abysmal. Since Angelo told me he only came on board in March, hopefully he can straighten his sales manager out to be less stubborn when he is clearly wrong or makes a mistake. I repeat Angelo is a man of great integrity and high professionalism, and solely because of him I will continue to have my car serviced there. Also props to my salesman C.J. He did a great job and showed a lot of integrity, too.
I do not own a Hyundai. My friend and neighbor for over 30 years does though, and when I was helping to replace the spash shields that were damages by debris in the road, I noticed some oil leaking from around the oil sump drain plug. Clearly the Kwik-Lube place he s been to did not understand the concept of a crush washer which as the name implies is designed for a single time use and gets crushed creating a gasket sealing the oil. We decided to stop by Peacock Hyundai and get some advice.
Trina Parrish is the Parts Manager at Peacock, and truly one of the nicest, courteous and genuinely smart. I mentioned the issue of the leak from the flat washer to her and said I would order some online.
Well, this is where my jaw dropped. Not only did she bring us enough crush washers for 5 oil changes, but she also offered to sell me the official Hyundai oil filter for less than a recommended by WalMart Fram Filter.
So to whoever is the parts and service exec, let me tell you that you have a true Diamond in Trina. Again, I ve never even considered a Hyundai (no I don t need a new car right now either) but if I was in the market, I would seriously consider Peacock Hyundai PURELY for one reason - one person who demonstrated genuine care of a customer, and that person is Trina Parrish.
