My wife and I decided to explore trading in our Nissan Murano on a Hyundai Veracruz. We had the pleasure of dealing with Chris Todaro. We liked what we saw with the vehicle that was on the lot but none of the colors. A truck just happened to pull in at that moment and there were 3 Veracruz's on it and we really liked the first one that came off of the truck. Chris stated that "I have never sold a vehicle directly off of the truck. This is a FIRST". The oveall experience we received from Chris and Hilton Head Hyundai was Excellent.

Truly a great car buying experience. Started with Jillian from the internet department. She responded within 30 minutes of getting my email. 2-3 emails back and forth I was connected to Corey who was quick to respond to a few technical questions and locked in our price out the door on a loaded Q7. What a great deal showing up with the price negotiations done and nothing but a test drive and signatures to do.
With our own financing in hand, the final close with Jim was a pleasant affair. He outlined a few options for an extended warranty on our used car. All and all a great experience all around.

I was helped by, Thomas, who was very nice, knew his stuff about cars, and also tried to find the best deal for your budget. I haven't had the best experiences at this dealers...

I haven't had the best experiences at this dealership recently. I have a son in the Marines stationed near Peacock. He had just purchased a used ELANTRA and has been having some dificulties with it. The car has been towed there twice for the exact same issue , and nothing has been found to be wrong. Recently this issue happened again, and my son's friend was able to look under the hood and see what was wrong after the car left the dealership and nothing was done. I dont believe the dealership even opened the hood to take a look at what the cause could be. I feel like he is being taken advantage of because of his age and not knowing much about cars. Unfortunately this is the only dealership anywhere near his Marine's base otherwise we'd be going elsewhere.

I purchased my 2017 Santa Fe from Peacock Hyundai in Hardeeville, South Carolina three years ago. I have since had all of my service s completed at Hyundai every three months. They are efficient, knowledgeable and pleasant to interact with. The waiting area is nice & comfortable offering WiFi, coffee & snacks @ their kitchenette. I encourage everyone to go & checkout the new Hyundai s located at the new river auto mall today.

Jeff was very personable and professional. I didn't buy the first time I was there and he didn't try to pressure me to do so either, just was as informational as could be to help me decide what I wanted to do.

The following week I did end up buying from these guys and there was no indication of all the "shady" things dealers like to do that you read horror stories about online. I would have no problem recommending this group if a new car is what is being considered...

My husband and I were not even looking to buy a car today, but Dennis was so helpful and knowledgeable that it was easy to make a decision. My car was sent over from the collision center after an accident to make sure the engine was good before fixing the car. Took 3 weeks to get a response and two weeks after I got my car back the engine starting making a weird noise. When I brought the car to another dealership to have it checked they brought me to the shop to inform me that oil filter a $5 part was damaged in the accident and was puking oil out so the car was running with no oil all because they didn t really check the engine like they said and change one cheap filter would never deal with them again. Finally understand why that guy was protesting the dealership for so long

I went in last week to replace a tire I bought back in July. My appointment was at 9:45 am.
The service department contacted the manufacturer, who gave them the run around.
It took the service department over an hour to inform me.
Ultimately the manufacturer refused to replace the tire, because they thought I hit something and I needed to pay $55.00.
Additionally they told me that I had a tail light out.
Since I was already there for almost 4 hours, I just wanted to get out!
When I left the dealership from my 9:45 am appointment, it was 3:18!
After I got home, a friend came over, looked at my tail light & discovered it was the directional that was out!
Four hours for a tire that should have taken a 1/2 hour & at no cost to me!!
Not happy!!

Best car dealership EVER!
We looked all over for the best deal and it was right here in our own backyard. Our decision was between a Kia and a Hyundai. We asked Stokes Kia (Charleston), Kia Country of Charleston and Kia Country of Savannah to locate us a certain car (and we were even very flexible on the options) and they couldn't produce what we wanted. When we asked Hyundai for the same, they found us exactly what we wanted and gave us a great deal immediately without hassle. The deal they gave us was actually less than the average paid according to TrueCar! I would NEVER go anywhere else to buy a car and I recommend this dealership to everyone who is looking for a new or used car without the hassle. Alex Cochran (our Salesman) and Mike Butts (the Manager) were nothing short of amazing. We will definitely be back for all of our servicing needs!

From the moment I inquired about 2020 Palisade online and contacted by the sales representative I have been in good hands. There was a Limited model that I wanted in Columbia, SC and amazingly the Hilton Head Branch brought me the vehicle the next day for me to purchase. When I arrived at 0940 the subject matter expert of the Palisade (which you can view on Youtube under Peacock HiltonHead) "Shawn Simpson" welcomed me with the upmost professionalism along with the manager and all the staff. Plus I was done with all transaction by 1130 and out the door as a very satisfied customer.
Of course many of you reading may say that was quick but I will have to say that:
1. I viewed the youtube channel that Peacock Hilton Head has to research the vehicle I wanted.
Overall I will deal with them again and recommend this dealer for anyone that is interested in getting a car that is safe and moving into the future.

I bought my car here back in 2011. I was given strict instructions to only bring it back here to get my tires filled when they get low because they have nitrogen in them. The reason for this is to keep the pressure from fluctuating and also to prolong the life of the tire. For the past almost 6 years I have brought it back A LOT. Sometimes every few weeks. I finally spoke to someone the other day that confessed they have been putting air in my tires after it turned a year old. They always told me it was nitrogen because that's what i asked for when I'd bring it in. I am very disappointed that they have lied to me! They have wasted my time driving 30 minutes out of my way when I could have just been doing it myself if I knew it was regular air. I was planning on buying another car from them but now they will not get any more business from me. I caught them lying about this, what else have they lied about?

Visiting from North Iowa on my way down to S.C the...

Visiting from North Iowa on my way down to S.C the light that illuminates the gas gauge suddenly went out while driving in the dark. I showed up @ the dealership in hopes that they would look @ it and possibly replace the bulb. The gentleman @ the service desk informs me that they didn't want to even look at it in case it was something more than just a blown bulb because I'm leaving to head home to Iowa early in the morning. If I had shown up @ say 4 in the afternoon I could understand and even accept the logic. But I was there @ 10 a.m. when they close @ 6 p.m. tonight they didn't even bother to look at it in case it really is as simple as a blown bulb that could have been handled.
I felt like I was blown off and what really upsets me about it is you literally can NOT see the gas gauge in the dark while driving and I have a child in the car with me its a 22 hr. drive home from here.. You'd think they would've at least looked at it before blowing me off because it MAY or MAY NOT be something more than just a blown bulb...
They may be an excellent dealership to buy a car from but I wouldn't even consider getting service done here. Not working on my car and a situation such as this where it can be very serious and have serious repercussions disgusts me and based on THEIR supposition without even looking at it in order to know DEFINITIVELY.
Thanks for putting my life and my daughter's life in danger because you didn't want to get too involved with something that may or may not have been more than a blown bulb...You don't deserve a single star too bad you don't offer a thumb's down icon...

This dealership LIED and told me that I could get out of my 2017 Elantra lease 4 months early. Hyundai Finance said that IS NOT TRUE. I was tricked into getting into a 2020 Elantra under false pretenses. 6 months later, I was contacted by Hyundai Finance requesting the balance owed on my 2017 for over $2,200. When I contacted Hilton Head Hyundai they made it seem like it was MY fault and had the audacity to play the victim. When I called Hyundai Finance, they said they do that all the time just to sell a car. They advised me that I should always call the finance company 1st to make sure the dealership isn't lying to me. That's sick and unethical! DON'T BUY HERE!

Just bought our first Jeep here, the customer service is beyond excellent! We were helped by Dennis and Alex and each of them were so patient with us during this process. They went completely out of their way to make sure we were totally happy with our purchase. Even after the sale was done, Alex made sure our Jeep was perfectly clean and just how we wanted it. I would definitely give 5 stars but my detailing after I purchased the vehicle has taken over an hour so far and I have an 1.5 hour drive. Staff was friendly from my rep to his sales manager, to the finance and then the insurance agent. Very professional and quick. Glad I waited to buy my car.

Had been looking for a new SUV for a while and went to many different dealers looking for the right one. Decided to test drive a 2019 Santa Fe and glad we did. Our salesman, Shawn Simpson, was amazing - friendly, knowledgeable and most important, not pushy. Was able to get a good deal with little hassle and they found the car I wanted. Shawn was great and the other folks at Peacock were wonderful as well. Have already recommended Peacock (and Shawn) to a friend who is definitely interested. Overall, well worth the 5 star rating!

My Santa Fe KeyFob was bad, so I bought a new one for $322, then had to schedule a reprogramming of the KeyFob for about another $140. I got home and my wife's KeyFob doesn't work. Nobody in service told me that I needed to bring in the other KeyFob associated with that car. When I called service they seemed to think that they made no error in this transaction. So $460 for a stinking KeyFob and insult to injury. It's the first car I've purchased from them and will be my last

Bought a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe from this dealership in October of 2017. Went for the first oil change which was complimentary. Went to change the oil myself for the next oil change and the oil pan bolt was on so tight I could not remove it. Called the dealership and they would not return my calls. Called the Hyundai USA number and they would do nothing. Customer Service here is lacking. I have owned 2 Hyundai's and I believe this is my last. Poor customer service all the way around.

My husband and I did a ton of research on cars and called many dealerships looking to purchase the right used vehicle for our growing family. We had some unique credit issues, and many places didn't have the resources to deal with us. Chris Browne at Hilton Head Hyundai was a positive, persistent, knowledgeable salesman. He really listened to our needs, and, I have to say, we were a little surprised when he showed us a nice, newer Hyundai Sonata with very low mileage.

Honestly, we'd never thought of looking into Hyundai. We had a great test drive, and we knew right away it was the right car for us. I'm so thankful to have had Chris on our side. I feel like he considered all of our needs and our price range and chose the PERFECT car for our family.

He worked very hard to get us the best deal possible, and we left the dealership extremely satisfied with his (and the entire staff's) professional, courteous, friendly treatment. So many thanks to Chris and the Hyundai team! We never really considered a Hyundai before, but we're now extremely proud and happy Hyundai owners!

The people at Hilton Head Hyundai are amazing! Craig and Mike accomplished getting me and my family into a BRAND NEW 2015 Elantra limited fully loaded car, which is something me and my husband never thought we would ever have, we were upside down in our van by over than $5,000 and had gone to more dealerships that I would like to admit to try and get out from under it, and no one was ever able to work a deal for us without putting a very LARGE amount of money down $3000+ and withen our price budget, we even went to Savannah Hyundai and they couldn't even come close to what these guys id for us! Not only did they get the deal done, they were able to do it and keep us in a price range that we could afford and unlike other people they didn't make any false promises or ask for me to test drive a car before they ran numbers and found a car that would work WITHOUT PULLING CREDIT FIRST! They did not make any promises until they new we could work a deal with just black and white numbers which almost no dealerships will do unless you come in and pull credit first and when we did pull credit they let us know how many banks they were going to send it first which is amazing! I cannot say enough about them, except if you want a good deal, and with good people, that are not going to give you a load of BS and make false promises and make you fall in love with a car to just be let down, go see these guys!! By far the best dealership we have ever been into, in and out in less then 2 hours and amazing with us and 3 kids that were running around, even offered to buy pizza for them while we finished everything up!! You all have a customer for life! Thank you so much for what you have done!!!!

Wow, these folks are great. My son-in-law and daughter bought a Hyundai Santa Fe here in Kissimmee, were driving back to Fort Drum when the engine gave out (dreaded rod knock sensor!) in Hilton Head.
They limped into this dealership and were absolutely taken care of. Mickey in Service is efficient, professional, and just plain nice!
They got them in a rental, ordered a new engine, and send them on their way, with plans to line-haul their Santa Fe to them when it was fixed.
Wow!
If I were in the market for another vehicle, I'd drive from Kissimmee, Fla to Hilton Head just to deal with this dealership!

Top-notch service and fast turnaround... Here's an update to my review. I think that the people in service should give Savannah a huge raise. She was fantastic helping me understand what was wrong with my car and what Hyundai was doing to fix it. She provided a free rent a car while I waited and I'm going to get all of my servicing including oil changes and everything else at peacock Hyundai. Keep up the great work

Update: The Finance and Sales managers at this pla...

Update: The Finance and Sales managers at this place are horrible. Their customer service is awful and they are mean & rude. I still haven't gotten my tag and the temp tag expired on the 19th and they refused to extend the temp tag or tell what I need to do so I don't get pulled over or a get a ticket. I've been leaving messages for the tax and tag department and they don't even bother returning my call. It's been a little over a month and I had to do an oil change on the car I just bought. They told me they do maintenance checks and change their oil on their cars before they sell them but it was obvious from the how dark the oil and oil filter were that they hadn't changed the oil in quite awhile. I was going to go buy a new car for myself in the next few months well I guess I won't be going here after all.
Delarian McCorvey was our sales rep here at the dealership and he was Awesome! He made us feel very comfortable and was not pushy. He showed us plenty of cars to choose from and was very knowledgeable as he answered any questions we had. My daughter was the one purchasing the car and she was thrilled.

I just wish I had bought a pricer cars so he would get a bigger Commission. He helped me find cars that were in my budget and low and behold I got a used Toyota Matrix 2010.
The car buying experience was easy and stress-free. I will definitely go back to the auto mall from my next car.

Went in to trade in my lease for a new car and was setup with Aran as my salesman. He was very knowledgeable on the cars and was very helpful in getting me the information that I needed. I explained that I did not want to "wheel and deal" and just wanted their best price and approach on the car trade. He came back quickly put together a great deal and was able to get me moving quite quickly through the process. I was in a bit of a rush, and was able to close all the paperwork within 40 minutes. That was about one of the fastest and easiest car dealership experiences that I have ever had. I highly recommend the dealership and particularly Aran as the sales person!

Service department is probably the best customer service I have ever had! They truly care about thier customers and go out if thier way to ensure you are treated well! I would give more than 5 stars if i could.

The whole process of buying a car was a great experience. Jeff Ribak was one of the reasons. He was very knowledgeable and guided us in our personal direction. Everyone at the dealership is friendly and made the process enjoyable. Peacock Hyundai is the best.

If you're looking for the lowest price on a Hyunda...

If you're looking for the lowest price on a Hyundai, this is not the right dealership. I shopped prices at several dealerships in the Southeast and my results were that Lee Hyundai in Florence, SC and in Fayetteville, NC were both at least $500 less expensive. I provided Peacock with the right price to hit and they could not even come close. If you get a quote from Peacock Hyundai for a car, I would call Lee Hyundai and ask them to beat the price.
