We bought a car from Peacock Hyundai 3 months ago....

We bought a car from Peacock Hyundai 3 months ago. We were told that we were paying an extra $2000 for a bumper to bumper warranty. However, the financier put it in as a maintenance warranty for 5 years. The financier no longer works there. This is only our second time buying a car. We trusted the peacock brand because we bought our first car from Volkswagen. But since there is no paper trail to what we were told, we basically look like we are making this up because we were lied to.
Essentially what happened was the financier said we were paying $2000 for a bumper to bumper warranty- which brought a huge since of ease to me buying this car which was an older model and higher mileage. Then acted as if he was throwing in oil changes to be nice. Which of course left us with a great feeling. But when we brought the car in to get looked at (because the check engine light was on), we were told that we were only paying the $2000 for a 5 year/60k mile maintenance warranty. The financier acted as if he was doing something nice for us, but what in fact lying to us.
Unfortunately it appears that this is just going to have to be a lesson learned and that we will not get an actual resolution except for canceling our (now known to be, maintenance) warranty.
