We had an amazing stay here. There's everything you could ever want on the premises and tour buses to many local activities. We stayed in the Grand Islander. Very clean and beautiful. We have no complaints.

The grounds of the hotel are great. However, I do have four big complaints. First, the resort fee is ridiculous and the only thing you get for it is being able to rent movies. Second, the parking fee is another ridiculous rate! Third, there is no one stopping people who are not staying at the hotel from using the hotel amenities (ie pool), which happened everyday while we were at the pool. Lastly, the beds are either king or full size. Good luck putting two teenage kids in a full size bed.

Overnight in Tapa Tower Family Suite. The children were still small, so I chose this one with a pool and lagoon rather than the center of Waikiki. (While enjoying the round tour of the island and sunset cruise, it was the end of the hotel saying When can I get back to the hotel? I want to swim in the sea early. ABC store seemed to be more enjoyable.) So I think it is a good hotel for families with small children who are not interested in shopping or sightseeing yet. The pool is open until 22:00, so entering the pool at night seems to be fresh and fun for children.
The family suite at Tapa Tower is large enough to have 3 beds, and the lanai is large and has chairs and tables. There were two washrooms, and the drainage of one of the washrooms was bad, but if I wrote that in a memo and it was fixed that day.
There is something I want to ask, but I can't change it easily by calling the lobby and telling the Japanese staff to change. However, if you stick, you will be suddenly called just moment and will be replaced by the Japanese staff. So please stick without giving up.
Almost all meals were done at the on-site restaurant. Rocky Japanese steak was fine in Japanese from start to finish. We used Rainbow Lanai buffet for breakfast, but price and contents do not match. I thought. All the souvenirs can be done at the shop on the hotel grounds, so I say it many times, but it's a good hotel for families with small children.

Check-in process and rooms could be better, however as overall it has multiple amenities and the Village Shops downstairs a big plus, multiple activities from Beach to water sports for the kids a great Plus. Nice ocean views and fireworks on weekend evenings As Nice. Only downside is outdated building and also far away from Center of Waikiki and other shops.

I stayed at the tour. There was only Hilton, and I was able to spend comfortably. There are plenty of restaurants and shops on the site, but people who are cheap should go out a bit. The fireworks from around 20:00 on Friday night are easy to see, beautiful and certainly one of the attractiveness, but I think that it will end soon in about five minutes, so I think that priority is given to sightseeing in other spots.

As always a great stay. Rooms, AC, beds, pillows great. Nice property to stay on Waikiki Beach. Would have given 5 stars but the location in the Diamondhead tower they gave us was right across from other hotel construction.

Not a bad place to stay on Waikiki as long as you are fine with it being very much a family place so lots of parents and kids were around. the rooms them selves were decent. not the best hotel I've stayed in it it worked for an island get away, if you can get a room with a sunrise view, it is so worth it.

Great place to stay we upgrade for our 40th wedding anniversary and they gave us the elite room with 2 balconies one looking out Diamond Head and the other balcony heading out to the full ocean it's a memory I will never forget. Thank you so much for that perfect room.

The beach and pools were perfect! There are lots of restaurants and shops to visit. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 was our room was on the older side, which is okay, but it was not very clean. That I am not okay with. I had hair in my bath tub when we arrived, the lock on the balcony door was loose, and the carpet had stains in it. A little disappointing after you spend so much money to stay there.

Hotel is a great value for Waikiki access. Great location, good crowds and nice amenities. It meets expectations and has excellent views from the rooms. Rooms are a little tired and could use updating.

The resort is located nicely and staff is very sweet and kind. And very family friendly which is nice. The hotel itself had some issues. One, the very first day our room reeked of cigarette smoke from the previous guest, so seemingly they didn t do much about it. Trying to contact people to remove it was like trying to find a needle in a hay stack. Two, you can obviously see some where and tear in the rooms. Like chipped ceilings, flickering hotel room lights an so on. Three, the rooms are not noise proof which is fine but don t be surprised if you here yelling or talking in early in the morning or late at night. Four, the hotel prices are not cheap. They are VERY overpriced for what they are offering and somewhat inconvenient.
Five, the hotel check in staff is terrible. I waited on line for at least 30 min to just be ignored. I understand that you maybe be tired but that doesn t excuse anything. For a Hilton I expected better. It put a sour taste in my mouth for my first time coming to Hawaii.
All in all it s an ok resort area great pools and lagoons and beach side areas.(Most likely will not be coming here again) in my opinion

Very clean with plenty of on-site shops. It has several bars and restaurants available. Their beach front doesn't allow alcohol of any kind which is a bummer. The sand is a bit rough would highly recommend water shoes.

20181209 // Resort that boasts the same size as village. The room is a little old, but it boasts a sufficient size. You can enjoy the beach as well as the pool and various activities that children can play. There are various shopping malls as well as food. I think that it is the best resort for family unit tourists.

I stayed at the Ali'i building which is right next to the pool and the beach. Although due to covid many stores are closed, I did not find that any limiting as I normally do not shop at resorts. Food-wise, also limiting but I had my car so I drove out to hit the popular local eats.
Room was clean and well furnished, given that I got an upgrade as a diamond member.
Only complaints i have are the availability of staff and elevator speed.
Staff are amazing but they seem to be not enough. I called front desk many times but only got through once. Once I got through they are amazing, but just couldn't get there most of the time.
The elevator. Now with covid it was difficult to get in the elevator. I had to pass 7 elevators as it was filled to the new covid max. I do not believe all three elevators were working as I never saw one elevator ever open.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay greatly and will come back for sure.

Hilton is located in a good place on a nice beach. Staff were disorganized and it took forever to get someone to deal with problems. Finally in order to get the problems solved I had to get rude and demand they solve it (they put a family of 4 in a room with one bed and no pull out couch). Then I was told I had to pay more money to get another bed. Then the next day we had to house cleaning or fresh towels. Front desk seemed disorganized and check in for a diamond guest took 30min and there was only 2 guests in front of me. First room in the conference center tower was tired looking but second room was good.

Lovely hotel! Beautiful views. The beach is literally just steps away and there are a bunch of food and shopping places within walking distance. The customer service was excellent and they were all so kind and helpful.

Beautiful resort everything and anything you want or need is available on grounds, no need to venture out unless you want to. ( Just please get rid of the pigeons they are annoying and unsanitary.) However the luau was disappointing, go to a real one if you can.

The ground are beatiful and staff is great however the hotel is very worn. Cushions in lobby worn and stained. Beds are terrible, Hampton inns have better beds. Rooms need upgate , walls need patched and painted and carpets are worn, ,not the quality hotel of the 90s and 2005. Would not go back. Not worth the money!!!!!

Amazing hotel built right onto the beach. We stayed in the Ali Tower which is fantastic. The staff were amazing and helpful. The room was very nice and had an amazing view. There were lots of shops and restaurants on property. The pools were great and fireworks display on Friday night was spectacular!

I have been here for 8 night which was rainbow tower oceanfront. This is my first time in Hawaii and I had a wonderful vacation here. Beautiful view, clean resort and amazing restaurant all in Hilton resort. I definitely come back here for my wedding photo shoot. I would love to give you more than 5 stars

We stayed at Islander Tower for about 10 days. I'm satisfied with the mini kitchen, washing machine, dryer, bathtub and so on, all in a space where I do not feel stress even in the middle stay.

We rented a parking lot with a monthly contract at Hallekoa, but I didn't feel any trouble at all, as the Islander Tower is particularly close. Now that children can walk, this facility can be moved with almost no car passing place, so at this time you want to walk on your own it will be very easy and you will be able to play in the facility alone. Therefore, it did not go out to the center of Waikiki almost. It is pleasant to walk to the center, so it takes about 15 minutes. If you go to Hawaii more than three times, the center will not go much, so in that sense location is not an issue at all.

There were sliders in the pool, and when it was getting cold it was convenient to have a heated whirlpool.

However, the food in the facility was not good, as the spa was bad. If it says, it is fresco of La Parte ice cream and Italian restaurant. Coco is there. By the way, Hilton Waikiki Starlight Luau was really the worst. The weather was bad, and I was watching in the room, but it was more than 30 minutes to line up with the buffet. Take cold dishes and eat the following dishes at the Sanroku restaurant. I was surprised at this service for $ 120.

I was originally carrying a thick hoodie because it was cold and hot air conditioning in Hawaii, but it is still cold and cold. Most of the foreigners were there, but they didn't feel the show's worth (in other words, it looks like they're doing a lot of similar shows for amateurs, and they get bored from the middle of a long time) Because there were many who exited, we also exited on the way. The African women who were quite plump in the elevator took the ride, but they were so surprised that they were so cold. Although I thought it was a cooling temperature for foreigners, the target people are so cold that I can't really stay there! I was angry that I was scolded in English (laughs) Who was the best?

We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village- Ali'i Tower. We found the rooms to be worn out and smelled musty. I had asked if any of the rooms had been refurbished but they advised no new reno d floors. Not what you would expect at that price, it would have been better jus to stay in one of the other towers for cheaper. The only positive was it was right on the beach.
We had gone on a family vacation, My In laws had paid for a ocean view room but instead were over looking porta potties. Guest services was very reluctant to change their room or adjust the price to a partial ocean view room. In the end, they got a better view but needed roll out beds. Service at Ali'i was just as bad. I found many of the staff were rude (with the exception of some of cleaning staff), for instance I had asked for a spoon as my toddler got very sick at night and needed to take meds. They told me I could walk to the cafeteria downstairs, were very unapologetic. Our blow drier was broken and only blowing cold air.
The most worrisome part was that when brining this up with resort management they couldn't care less. I would suggest staying off the beach at a better hotel and walking

The scenery is wonderful, the rooms are great, the service is even better, so much on-campus shopping, every restaurant is worth your time, and easy access to the beach! From what I saw, it's good for kids too.

Friendly staff, nice rooms, and wonderful pools/beach we couldn t have picked a better place to stay for our first time in Oahu. We stayed in the Ali tower and everything was amazing. My family and I loved the pool exclusive to the Ali More

A beautiful location, walk out of the pool and you are at the beach, gold fish swimming in streams at hotel location with flamingos moving around at their free will. A nice mini China Town within the vicinity.
