Did not stay in this tower, but enjoyed the HHV shops. If you stay in HHV everything you need is on campus, restaurants, convenience stores etc. The campus is beautiful and is close to the beach, Duke kahanamoku lagoon, and offers many pools.

I love the Location, it is right there by Waikiki, there is a boat Harbor walking distance, beach is within arm's reach so to speak, the bars on the beach, and the pools make for a very enjoyable evening. I haven't attended the events / activities that occur around the village to comment on them. I felt room service and hotel staff were very professional, friendly, and easy to understand. The souvenir shops, specialty shops, and convenience stores are plentiful, and varied, to keep your interest. My only negative of the Hilton Hawaiian village is the choice of restaurants offered on the hotel grounds. I feel there is a lack in variety , and walking distance off hotel grounds can bet you much better choices.

There are many types of pools, children are delighted, and views from Lanai are good. The room feels a little old, but it is clean and satisfactory.
Basically all the facilities can be provided on site, and the staff is kind and good.
It is a little away from the center of Waikiki, but there is no problem if you use the trolley bus, I recommend it to a child companion.
