Hareena sohi Review of Hilton Hawaiian Village

We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village- Ali'i Tower. We found the rooms to be worn out and smelled musty. I had asked if any of the rooms had been refurbished but they advised no new reno d floors. Not what you would expect at that price, it would have been better jus to stay in one of the other towers for cheaper. The only positive was it was right on the beach.
We had gone on a family vacation, My In laws had paid for a ocean view room but instead were over looking porta potties. Guest services was very reluctant to change their room or adjust the price to a partial ocean view room. In the end, they got a better view but needed roll out beds. Service at Ali'i was just as bad. I found many of the staff were rude (with the exception of some of cleaning staff), for instance I had asked for a spoon as my toddler got very sick at night and needed to take meds. They told me I could walk to the cafeteria downstairs, were very unapologetic. Our blow drier was broken and only blowing cold air.
The most worrisome part was that when brining this up with resort management they couldn't care less. I would suggest staying off the beach at a better hotel and walking
