It's Hawaii, of course it's beautiful, tropical & a dream come true ! I've stayed here twice, in the 80's & the 90's but now when we go back we stay somewhere a little more private. Don't get me wrong I love the place but if you plan on going back try renting a cottage on one of the private beaches on the other side of the island. You can get away from all the tourists, the traffic & the monotony & really get a chance to enjoy the islands, see the countryside, people & cuisine. There's an entirely different culture & unseen side of the islands if you get away from the tourism racquet. The islands are a beautiful place to get to know & experience. Enjoy

Great location and plenty of amenities. Walking distance to local restaurants and shops. It has a large beach and a private lagoon with great views from the Rainbow tower. Lots of water sports and activities.

It was a great stay! I loved the pools, there were so many of them and they closed late! Tons of time to swim and explore, the fish around the area in small lakes were a great touch. Very convenient and close to the beach. The lagoon was nice as well as the towers. We stayed in the Tapa tower which was great. Elevators are quick and have a nice interior. Lots of shops and snack places close by. We tried the ice cream place as well as checking out the many ABC stores. Great stay!

This resort is our "go to" place for vacation. It is a phenomenal experience to stay here as it is located on Waikiki beach but not in the central busier part. They also had the forsite to leave a good portion of Waikiki beach free for beach goers instead of building their towers right to the water. It has 22 acres of land in total, 7 major towers, a lagoon to swim in, 3 pool complexes, stores, restaurants. It's a little community onto itself. It also features 2 ABC stores! These are rather unique to Hawaii. 4 of the towers are dedicated timeshare towers. That is a good way to get some time there.

Stayed a week in a 2 bedroom condo at the Grand Islander and it was great! Rooms are great and cleaning staff great. The grounds are beautiful and spotless. My only complaint would be you have to rent chairs for the beach, they are not provided. Any other resort I stay at, has a section of chairs on the beach for members. Maybe because it is a hotel too and not just a timeshare place.

My wife co-worker had recently visited this Resort and she showed me some pictures and I couldn't wait to come so we booked a vacation thru a travel agency and we got here I was so disappointed the rooms and the pictures looked nothing like what I saw it's my 20th anniversary and I'm in the Diamond Head towers this is supposed to be Hilton Hotels I can't wait to go home never coming back what an Anniversary gift.

Very clean and nice hotel. Great views from room. Comfortable and definitely recommend to anyone going to Hawaii. I used a lot of Ubers and ordered pizza and went on tours and the designated locations are far depending on the tower.

Metropolitan it is!!!! Busy place, a city all in it's own, with people from all around the world, opening to Waikiki beach.... clean rooms in the tapas tower. Great ocean view, thank you for the free upgrade. Fabulous staff treated us like royalty. Met some amazing people while on the island of Oahu, because of this resort.....

Classic beach front Waikiki. Ali'i tower provides some seclusion and a little step away from the rest of the bustling resort, so worth it in our opinion (traveling without kids). That said our east facing room was right next to the property edge loading dock so the shipping truck backup sound at 5:30am was our alarm (versus birds or waves). Not a huge deal but FYI. Overall very nice and great location (go off resort and explore all the great local food!!)

This is gorgeous beach location the Hilton sit on and quite a luxury place for those who can afford to stay here. The Hilton put on Friday night fireworks show every Friday night at 8pm and people lineup on the beach access platform to watch. If you're lucky like me to get a hotel room high up with balcony facing the beach which allow you to see it all.

Super chaotic and unorganized, had to wait 45 minutes to register, didn't get all of the coupons we were supposed to ($30 breakfast buffet, etc.), no one on staff seemed to know anything about the property or the programs, perks of staying, and we nearly missed our Pearl Harbor tour bus because the bus stop isn't the bus stop we were told to use... They actually have a bus depot kind of facility. The staff wasn't very courteous or helpful. When we checked out we were told we had to go through check out process or be charged $100 for not doing it. And then after waiting for over 20 minutes we were informed that wasn't actually the case, and we could have just dropped the keycards and left. I would look at all my other options before thinking about going back to this place when visiting Honolulu.

The Hawaiian Village is widely lost lightly.

The Hawaiian Village is widely lost lightly.
There are several restaurants and ABC stores on site, which is very convenient.
There are several hotel towers and it is quite crowded, so it is often time-consuming to use the valet service with a rental car.
It's always crowded so even Hilton Diamond members can not expect any upgrades at all.

I stayed at the Alii Tower this time, but when I stayed at the Alii there is a dedicated bracelet, and you can receive various services such as being preferentially guided to the seat in the restaurant!
Although bottled water and coffee etc. in the room can be replenished, it is a pity that there is no food or drink at all in the lounge area below.

Enjoyed my stay at the Tapa Tower ocean view and Rainow Tower ocean view rooms. Lovely rooms, terrific staff. All very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make your stay with them an experience! Many restaurants and activities so you don't even have to leave the property. The pools were clean, appealing to the eye and each had it's own personality. Children welcome here!

It s huge property. We staying at the Rainbow tower. Suite is very old. This rating is based on the first impression / experience with the hotel and the check-in staff. The hotel is very busy so they don t really care about you are happy or not. We came with our 15 month old baby. Reached the check-in counter around 12.30AM after 10.5 hr flight from toronto. Waited for 45 minuets to checkin with just 4 families ahead of us. And when I got to desk I told the staff that the wait is long she didn t even bother to apologize, she said don t know Sir, I just got back from break . And the bus dropped us at the bus station and there wasn t any help or buggy to carry the luggage. With my wife holding baby in her had I had to carry 3 luggage s myself to the main lobby which is probably 7-10 minuets from the bus station.

Nice

Great hotel. Literally has everything you need to do Hawaii right. The beach, snorkeling in the lagoon or swimming in one of the many pools. The starlight luau is one of the best on the island!

Got here, huge walk with bags just to get to horrible wait to check in. Aweful way to begin supposed paradise vacation Super crowded. Now will they provide room upgrade we got with package? NO!! Only have a room with king bed when there are 3 clearly listed in reservation. Then they want to give a cot which is zero room as it is without this. No drawers for 10 nights worth of clothes
Just an absolute joke. Well Wel to pay 30 more per night to accomate the already paid for upgrade. $17 natchos not a normal restaurant in site

Just checked into the Hotel. The most abysmal reception ever. Reception staff were rude. The concierge service was non existent, there was a range war over bell hop trolleys, and one named Gerard dropped one of our bags from a great height apparently trying to break stuff! Appalling lack of service, go somewhere else! One star for valet parking people.

Very nice resort. They have a mini mall on site as well as a few eateries and two Starbucks location. These Starbucks cost more than regular Starbucks. It s about $1 more roughly. The lagoon are nice for swimming with your children.

A little world of its own, right in the heart of Waikiki! Staff was INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful!!! We had a fantastic view of Waikiki Beach from our room in the Rainbow Tower, I highly recommend it!!!

Access to the pool and shops was easy from all the hotels in the village, and the shuttle bus also passed, so I spent more comfortably than I thought.
The room we stayed in should have been a city side room, but the veranda had a good view of the sea and was very nice.
There are also two ABC stores, so it's easy to do a little shopping, you can eat smoothies and acai bowls with Kailua juice from the morning, and there are restaurants that you can ask for take-out and room service!
Walking to the center of Waikiki has a little distance, but in the daytime it is not a worrying distance, and above all, there is no inconvenience as it runs through the shuttle bus.
Ala Moana Shopping Center is very close and shopping will progress
