The grounds are huge and there are restaurants, general stores, clothes shops, ABC stores, BARs, LOUIS VUITTON, and even a small supermarket! !
I wonder if there were about 4 pools! !
You can take a walk after a walk! !
Garlic shrimp from a shop called Blue Water Shrimp in this site is highly recommended! ! Eat there, or take it out and eat it on the hotel veranda or on the beach

There are no toothbrushes or combs in the room, so you should take them with you! !

Also, if you are on the premises, you can use the hotel's Wi-Fi.

HHV is a huge resort with a handful of guest towers, some better than others.

The Ali'i is the newest tower. It has a private pool, bar and front desk so the usual long check in/out lines and fighting to find a pool chair are not an issue. This pool also offers XL towels as the regular resort towels will cover half of a chair. You also recieve free in room bottled water in this tower only.

The Rainbow tower is the closest to the ocean with the best ocean views.

The remaining towers are more average (dated) but are reasonably priced for the area considering the property amenities.

Pros:
Huge attractive beach, lots of dining and shopping options on site and close by, numerous pools and well cared for grounds.

Cons:
$45/day resort fee for the internet (not optional), $18/day per beach chair, $45/day self-parking or $52/day valet, rationed pool towels (large hand towels).

The Paradise pool (family pool with water slides) was the only area we found to be neglected. The bathrooms were awful and trash was overflowing from cans placed around the pool.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. The Starlight Luau on site was excellent. From the talent and quality of the performance, organization, and food, particularly for a buffet (we always avoid haha) made it worth while.

Overall a quality experience though it helps to know what you're getting before hand. Unless you're venturing far from Waikiki, it may not make sense to rent a car the entire time. Uber and taxis were plentiful and low priced to get to local restaurants, shopping and attractions. Most of the tours will provide transportation as well.

There are many Hiltons in Hawaii, but there are many Hiltons concentrated in the Hawaiian Village.
The hotel this time is a building called a lagoon tower and the lagoon and the open sea can be seen well from the veranda, and the sunset was very beautiful!

Great place to be if you are there for the first time looking to relax. They have beach right down stair with shopping opportunities nearby. Pretty everything around it is designed around tourism, so the price tend to be much higher than local infrastructures(shopping/parking/food...etc). Highly recommend folks to venture out a bit to local spots to get a feel for the local vibe.

Beautiful room.... but who cares because THIS was the view from my balcony. We stayed in the rainbow tower with ocean front views. So amazing. I could lie on my bed and just watch the waves and hear them crash all night. Down the elevator and a few steps and your on the sand. Use your towel card and get a free towel to use and then toss it in the bin in your way to dine alfresco by the pool on an amazing jumbo hot dog and fries and dont get me started about the beautiful swimming pools. I would come back and stay again and wish I could stay a month just to to take advantage of all the incredible things to do.

Had so much fun here. Really nice swimming pools, beach and lagoon. I extremely recommend Hilton for families and also a quite getaway. If you want a quieter area to relax I recommend booking the Ali'i building where you'll have a private pool overlooking the beach, fitness room, bar and priority dinning. There is a ton to do here! Don't miss the fireworks every Friday. Food is delicious but a bit pricey. Hilton is the perfect Hawaiian vacation!

Worst hotel I have stayed in. This Hilton village is overly crowded with families and screaming children everywhere. Too many people crowding all the pools and the beach. It took so us an hour just to check in at the lobby after an 11 hour flight. The hotel beach is filled with rocks so you need to be in a float to go in the water. Nothing is included in the stay. You will even have to pay for a small hula show by the poolside if you want to see it among the crowds. The firework show on Friday is so crowded that you will be blocked from even seeing it and will be elbowing people the whole way through. If you are used to hotels that are secluded and relaxing than DO NOT GO HERE.

Loved it

"Even though it is a first-class hotel"
The pillow smells.
The water pressure in the shower is weak.
It's beautiful, but it's not particularly beautiful.
The sound of water is flowing in the toilet forever.
The sound of closing the door is noisy, probably because the next room is near.
There is little electricity in the room, and it is good in the daytime but dark at night.
No toothbrush
The wind pressure of the dryer is weak.
Although it is an ocean front, the floor is low and the impression is less than I imagined.

Even though it is a first-class hotel, it is a prerequisite.
It's a shame because the price is high.
Enough to spend normally.
I reaffirm the high quality of Japanese hotels.

Wow this place went above and beyond on customer service. First, we were able to check in early, then they allowed us to check out late and allowed us to use an empty room to shower after we'd checked out. Bell services were friendly and accomodating. Housekeeping was always on time and thorough.

The spa service was amazing as well- we came for a massage quite late in the evening, so didn't have a lot of time to enjoy the spa afterwards. The staff gave us passes to use the spa the entire next day so we could fully enjoy it.

After we'd checked out, we realized we accidentally dropped important papers in the trash. Housekeeping literally dug through the trash to find them for us. I couldn't believe it.

Overall, our stay was very pleasant and would highly recommend staying at Hilton Hawaiian Village.

I went to Hilton Hawaiian because of Atlantis Submarines. That's where you park and get parking validated. Validation for parking was $10 for 4 hours which is good compared to $29 for 4 hrs. Luckily we were able to find parking on the 2nd level. Other than that the only other thing I was able to notice during our short visit was that the place was clean.

The Hilton Hawaiian village is hands down one of the best places to stay while visiting Hawaii. The hotel is clean, organized, and has a great view of the ocean. The Rainbow Tower lights up at night, so you can see the colors if you re walking the streets at nighttime. The hotel is also close to a lot of local shops and boutiques as well as eateries located on the campus. The spot is located right on the beach, there are 2 pool areas and a lagoon to chill out at. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the fact they didn t have a jacuzzi tub. Everything else is pretty spot on. Would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean and staff was friendly. We had a fun staycation. The only drawback is the pool design. It stays in the shade a lot of the day so it can be kind of on the cold side. It is also on the outskirts of the strip so it takes a little walking or a little drive to get anywhere.

This was our first trip to Hawaii and we stayed the Hilton Hawaiian Village in the Rainbow Tower, ocean view. It was BEAUTIFUL! The room was perfect, the staff was courteous and extremely helpful and our view of the ocean couldn't have gotten any better than it was. This was one of our best vacations and I encourage you to visit them.

Beautiful resort. Rooms are a little outdated but overall a wonder stay. Spa was pretty basic for a compared to other resorts. But the weekly rate to use the spa matched the spa amenities. We had a wonderful experience and would stay again

Poor food and over priced. Save your money and eat outside of town. Not much to do on the resort either. $35/day resort fee which includes the basics and $47/day to park a car on top of your nightly room rental. Lots of sales pitches anywhere you walk. Just say no!

I absolutely do NOT recommend this hotel whatsoever. It is not safe. Guests minding their own business get physically assaulted by drug crazed homeless people near & around the hotel! They need to AMP UP their SECURITY...tenfold! Enter at your own risk!

We stayed in Rainbow tower. The room was no so great for a resort. Just like any other hotel rooms. But tge resort facilities are good . 5 different pools ,very nice restaurants, lagoon(not so clean). My kids loved the paradise pool. Staffs don't look like very happy and inviting.

The resort was great and staff were helpful. Unfortunately its overpriced for the quality of what you get - The hotel rooms are quite dated and are due for renovations. Otherwise it was a lovely resort.

We stayed at it's Rainbow tower for 4 neight s. Most of our stay is enjoyable, but few things are very annoying: the elevator in the tower is definitely out of date, running very slow and require long time waiting particularly when go up; there is no touch less bottle fill station and very few water fountain at the resort; many of DVD box at the tower we stayed does not functional. Not like many other hotels have business center where customers could print out documents, this place requires customer email the printing documents or web page to hotel print center email address, get response code, then go to mail and key desk to type in the code, then get doc print out. We follow the procedure, and never receive the code sent to us. The lady work there is pretty rude, not helpful at all. Hope they improve those things.

I mean everything in Waikiki is expensive but this was pretty outrageous given the facilities. Nothing hugely wrong to fault, I just don t deem it worth the money. Would prefer to try an Airbnb or other option than the hotels.

Beautiful hotel, check in was fast. Awesome swimming pool, good music, amazing fireworks, good food, man made lagoon is cool, etc. Only thing is that it is always packed with SO MUCH people!! To much people!! Definitely wouldn't be able to get privacy, only in your room.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. Lots to do and easy access to all the nearby attractions. Great food across the street. Super friendly staff and really cozy accommodations. Friday night includes free fireworks. You can hear the music on your balcony. Would happily return.

Room is very nice. Kind of confusing for a first time guest to find their way around. Service is as fast as it can be. Desk and other things are usually very busy. The around is very nice for shopping and eating.

Beautiful lagoon and environment. Wonderful beach and great place to have a gathering with friends and family. The ambiance became even more special as the sun set in the sky. The view of Diamond Head was staggering.

We visited here to have a look through the resort as our friends were staying here. We enjoyed a cocktail near the pool and were fortunate enough to see some entertainment that was happening outside. This is a beautiful resort in a great location. Our friends were really happy with their room and the facilities. We look forward to staying here next time.
