The room was great but cannot handle the smoke in the casino area. The hotel is huge and near everything you want to do in Vegas.

Great price to stay very near the heart of the strip and feel like you re a part of the action. For me, I d prefer if I couldn t hear club music into the early morning. Great view if you pay for it.
Negatives are a non-functional display built into the mirror, a leaking ceiling (it rained during the stay), and unique characters. It s a cheaper hotel so expect to smell smoke.
If all you care about is a room on the strip then Flamingo is excellent. For a bit more, I would shift some budget from gambling to the room and stay elsewhere. I am not a huge fan of gambling - came more for the food scene, scenic buildings, and shows. It would have been nicer to come back to a relaxing room rather than one where the party continued uninvited. So that s how my priorities line up.
Overall, Flamingo is alright with an appeal to people who prioritize a cheap room on the strip at the expense of other details.
Everything was great, from the service to the room the staff was very nice and helpful, situated perfectly in walking distance from shopping center food places and the strip, definitely will consider our stay here again for our next visit to Vegas.
I had to wait 8 HOURS to get checked into a room!! Horrible experience. Will NEVER return or recommend this hotel to anyone.
Nice place..Great pool area..Great value!! Also great spot on the strip...
The Flamingo Was The First Casino I Went To When I First Moved to Las Vegas. I went to A Show There With A Friend and We Ate At The Steak House and had a Very Good Time.
Chef Shayne Michael's and Krystal Loyd.
Absolutely gorgeous place! The customer service is excellent! I highly recommend this place!!
My wife and I loved staying at the Flamingo. Very clean room, plenty of space, and great decor. The whole place screams Las Vegas! We will definitely be back!
Linens were not clean. actually had a dirty wash cloth with dark, long hair on it. Cigarette burns in balcony window drapes. House keeping knocked multiple times each morning disregarding the do not disturb sign I hung. Safe was not working so after calling the front desk, the maintenance man came and told me he didn't have the tool to fix it and would come back the next morning, which he never did. Altogether dated and not worth the resort fees/price with so many other options on the strip. Check in/out process was easy, staff were kind.
It was dirty. And they were inconsiderate! The rooms weren't Covid-19 ready. The soap was from the previous customers. There's a tube and I don't know where it came from. The pool had a wait list from 4 days back. The pool was not available for us.
Had a nice room overlooking Caesar's Palace. Great time and service. Will be back
Awesome shopping, good food but the slots are kinda tight. Oh...it smells great and the beds are soooo comfortable.
My family had a package deal and when we got there had to wait a near hour to finally get to front desk. They only had 3 people at front desk and there was over 50 plus people in line. Finally getting to front desk we asked if we could upgrade. Overall it was going around decent... we walked into the room and met with magazines that had a sticky substance and used beds.
My family was not impressed with the upgrade we paid an extra 100 bucks. I expected the beds to be actually made with new sheets.
After pointing out the hair and stains to front desk and to house keeping. they gave us a 40 dollar gift card to use at the buffet. Which at that point my family tried to switch hotels. Lot of the places were booked so we stayed.
My experience at the flamingo would be its last and i wouldn t recommend anyone staying there.
(Didn't get any of the photos of the inside the sheets. we didn't check until wanting to lay down. Upon finding out we went straight downstairs where we had to wait another hour to just complain.)
It's great that they still have the live flamingoes in the enclosure
Old school Vegas casino can win big but on the lower scale for casinos by the strip.
Beautiful! Great staff, the habitat is nice, and rooms are very clean. We had a suite with 2 King bedrooms, 2 baths, washer/dryer and full kitchen. Shops are expensive, and food is insane. $8 for a small slice of pizza. $5 for a 12 ounce can of soda.
Clean facility in a very convenient location on the strip
Beautiful inside and out. The flamingos and exotic birds are such a nice thing to see when being so detached from nature in the Vegas scene. Very clean and orderly. Masks and sanitizer stations easily accessable. Only gave 4 stars because our room had a beer bottle cap left behind from the previous guests.
Room look much better than 3 years ago. Customer service is top notch. Free parking through out the hotels strip due to Covid 19, just fyi.
We are staying here and the only reason it's getting 2 stars is nobody told us it's a party hotel. Pool area has a parry vibe all day (loud dance music/rowdy people). Other than that, its clean and the staff are helpful.
Included breakfast is $9 credit per person at the coffee bar downstairs. However all pricing does not include tax so you end up paying $2 for the privilege of getting the breakfast. Also, the breakfast specials are the most grease logged inedible garbage I have ever been presented as a meal.
Room is ok.
Very nice changes to the hotel. The floors are not level in the halls. It made me feel like I was drink even when I wasn't. Still not sure if that's a good thing... Did not strike me as a family friendly place.
Flamingo is part of Caesars Entertainment, which owns about 1/4 of the Strip. It follows many of the same safety policies as other Caesars properties.
They have hand sanitizer dispensers everywhere. A few mask dispensers with surgical masks. Employees all wear masks.
I visited the casino; I didn't stay at the hotel. The gaming machines are still cash-based. There are ATMs with bill-breaking features.
Many restaurants and shops are closed. It was somewhat quiet.
Room was remodeled which was really nice. It was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had to bring identification for the pool which we have never had to do at other hotels. Had to go all the way back to our room to get our ID. They basically have no lawn chairs to speak of. The majority of the guest had to sit on the cement. Other than this the Flamingo was fantastic!!!!
Great place. If you want to have fun and be social. Bird bar is there spot here.
Incredible place, with a party atmosphere at the go pool everyday through out the summer, age range in my opinion would be 21-40
Cool original Vegas vibe. Right in the heart of the Strip.
Great location. I'd recommend to stay at The Linq instead...but still a great hotel to enjoy Vegas from.
Since the redo Grrat place center of the strip lots to do
Now that's what you could say have a lot of common courtesy to be there
Love the flamingos and the fish. Nice place to visit and get some great pictures.
Easy contactless check-in, centrally located and friendly helpful staff! Beautiful landscaped pool and center outside patio walkway area. Parking garage was a little hike from rooms but the indoor mall and shops along the way will keep u spending money lol.
Not a 4star resort but an amazing location at good prices. The first room I got was not clean and was not great. Once we switched rooms it was better. The day pool is awesome and a great time. Drink service in the casino could be better.
We had a brunch buffet which us available until 2pm. At groupon you will get a discount for that. We have been there the second time and it was good.
I still think this hotel is just too old and I really feel bad in the summertime when the birds look like they're dying. But it's the least expensive hotel in the middle of everything!
Piff was great and awesome that the whole show came out to let you get FREE photos with them
Best value for money.
Pro- Right on the strip. Allows one to get to strip quickly. Rooms are very spacious. I visit Vegas 1-2 times an year and this is my favorite hotel. The property is in middle of major attractions at the strip.
Con- very long check-in times (even at automated machines). In hot tourist times, the hotel often does not honor the room type chosen.
Right in the middle of the strip. What more could you ask for? Great pool, restaurants, attractions and the casino. Loved staying here, would recommend and I would stay here again.
Most convenient place to stay on the strip for me. Easy access to multiple casinos. Friendly staff members and overall relaxing vibe. I could do without the timeshare people constantly bothering me as I am attempting to check in though.
Friendly staff. Checking in and out is easy, but can get crowded during peak hours. The location is nice and close to so many things. The pool experience was fun, although the water in the GoPool was cold in the morning, but do not forget your ID card for the GoPool. Pool is free for hotel guests.
Ate at the Mexican restaurant inside the Flamingo hotel....our waitress Denise was very nice and we loved the food and loved our big tall red glasses!
I loved it.my daughter won 1500,the rooms were beautiful. The price was fantastic...
Casino was very nice. We didn't stay there we just stopped in and lost some money.
This is one of the oldest hotels on the Las Vegas strip, they still have phenomenal customer service, great food, amazing shows, and a fun casino floor.
Outdoor flamingos and fish and birds was pretty cool! Server's were really bad at all!
Love this hotel. Gorgeous and fun. My husband bought me this bracelet from a store inside! Stop and see the flamingos!!
Great pond with turtles, flamingo and the bigger koa you have ever seen!
It's a decent hotel along the Las Vegas strip. Room I stayed in was clean and the view from the room was okay. Only issue I had was the towels. Some had some areas of black spots and some had what could be blood as it had a small area of faint colour red. Also common area of the hotel is really smokey but I guess that is common for all Las Vegas hotels on the strip
My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay here. Great room for the price and great location on the strip!
One of the older, yet still in good shape Vegas hotels. The location is unbeatable, our room was big, clean, comfortable and had an incredible view over the strip.
The only downside was that there was only a slide door to the bathroom and it didn t have ventilation.
Here for my Mums 60th Birthday. Checking in was a bit of a nightmare for the lthers in my party although i did manage to check in very fast using the Express Checkin. Some of my family had to go to the service desk and were greeted with slightly rude staff. We paid for upgraded rooms but have the standard! My sister also required a cot and hot water facilities in her room to sterilise the bottles. They were told they would have to be downgraded and would have to pay and extra $30 per night for the cot. The reason they do not have coffee machines in the upgraded rooms is because the want people to buy coffee from the shop in the lobby!!! Doesnt make sence to have basic rooms with coffee machines but upgraded rooms with nothing. This was eventually sorted it. Another member of my family had a room that stunk of weed. They were asked if they would like them to come and spray air freshener! They later discovered a bag of weed on a sideboard, therefore the room cannot have been cleaned properly. We had to clean the bathroom before we could use it in our room. So definitely wouldnt say they are great at cleaning. The buffet in the hotel however is AMAZING. Its well worth the $29 dollars. Whether it be for breakfast, lunch or dinner, they have everything and really really good. Would definitely recommend.
We only visited The Flamingo to see their "Habitat", which was home to pink flamingos, large koi, a variety of ducks, and more. It was a peaceful break from the hustle of The Strip. The birds are beautiful, and the subtle info displays along the walkways were interesting. Well worth the trip!
Got drunk and ended up lost, couldn't find my room lmao big place
Good for gambling. Didn't stay there but it was fun.
Went here to see Piff the Magic Dragon. Decent hotel in lobby, but hard to find where the shows are. Would be 5 stars if able to find the stage area for the show. This casino is definitely worth going to just to see Piff and Jade Simone....they're so funny together.
I'm here now what a great hotel's. The staff are warm and friendly even the cleaners are fabulous. Great location I'm loving vegas and this hotel.. There is no tea or coffee in the room that is a disappointment but the new refurb room is so clean
Most of my visits to Las Vegas are spent at the Flamingo & it's neighboring Casino Harrah's. If I'm not sleeping there, I'm eating there and definitely gambling there. Beautiful rooms and love to check out the critters in the nature area too.
I like it as a casino but their parking situation is pretty confusing at times
First night was horrible somebody got shot and they locked the hotel down and wouldn t let us go to our rooms. We re sitting ducks while they searched for the shooter locked down til 3 am. Then let us up without explanation or compensation for the inconvenience.
I love the flamingo casino. It is centre of the strip and a very busy area! There is resturants to offer in the area. They offer an awesome pool area which usually has a DJ there.
The hotel itself is a older hotel. But they up keep the hotel very well. The rooms are a bit older but are cozy, clean and up to par!
Despite the onset of COVID-19 and the additional precautions that accompany such an event, the staff was courteous and the room was pristine.
Loved the casino. Great customer service. Renovations made it so that our room either had no running water at times, or no hot water other times. Fantastic view of the strip.
During the summer poolside is loud, but winter it is the quieter side. If you're close to the nightclub at Drai's Crowmwell, stay out gambling until 4am :) Go Rooms make for a comfortable stay, with desk and fridge.
The lobby and common areas are definitely outdated, but the rooms were nice! The desk in the room could've used a more thorough wipe down, as there were some rings from previous guests' drinks, but overall everything felt clean. Great location in the middle of the strip.
We stayed for the weekend! It was a great trip! Very friendly, our room was clean, casino was clean.
Pretty views. Recommend to stay or just take a walk through
Amazing hotel in the heart of Las Vegas. Definitely will return.
Also, the best comedy magician in the biz. Piff the Magic Dragon.
Drinks are great
It was fun sitting outside.
Didnt stay at hotel
Hotel has a good vibe. Great location and has some great amenities however the rooms are starting to get super run down and out dated if your ok with that then i definitely recommend this hotel. If you are going during Covid-19 just know alot of areas are closed and reservations are required to use the pool.
First the staff is amazing especially Jameson. The rooms are much nicer than I had assumed.
Had a great stay. 4 Stars due to COVID restrictions only. No fault of the hotel.
Best hotel /casino in the strip for the money. I enjoyed the wildlife area, large daily pool parties, and the linq promenade right next to it.
Room dirty and dusty, AC didnt work at all maintenance came up no mask and said "oh it's okay it's what is does" , elevators barely worked half the time, had to ask many times each day for towels. Front desk staff very unpleasant
Beautiful, clean fun. New rooms were great love this place and everything and everyone
Didnt stay here but walked through to get to the little street with tons of shops and restaurants. Right next to the ferris wheel. But had to go to the place Ive been missing for years. In n Out Burger. Oh Baby I have Missed you Animal Burger and fries.
Booked a room with King Bed for romantic stay with wife and got two queens instead. Was told no Kings were available, these people run a hotel and don't know what the word reservation means. Booked directly through hotel. Would not recommend. Old, smoky, loud, charge for parking, 39$ a night resort fee, restaurants lame, only good part is access to Linq restaurants and shopping. Get way more for your money elsewhere.
Welcoming greenery in the Strip..a waterfall thrown in for a cool effect and can watch some birds, very theraupatic..
It's an older hotel on the strip and it's going through some renovations. Room was big and comfortable but the bathroom was tiny. Unfortunately, very noisy at night even at 2am with music blaring from an outdoor club. Can hear it even on the top floor. But great views at sunset of the mountains behind the strip.
Great atmosphere most of the resort. Most terrible party was the SUPER long wait for check-in. Then to get up there and they have to scan the booking person's ID. I booked but in my husband's name so I had to wait on him to come back from a friend's room. One manager was awesome and helpful though. We got a room somewhat near our friends which was convenient. Overall good stay. Clean room. I had 1 fluffy luxury pillow and the comforter was cozy also.
Clean hotel we had a pet friendly room and it smells like pee
Perfect location on the strip. Our room had quite a bit of wear but staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The bed and pillows are too hard. Take your own pillow.
Stayed in modern updated room. Very clean! Vegas is busy busy, but staff was helpful. Only annoying thing is timeshare pushers.
I just came with my man to see the flamingos and everywhere we turned the staff was harassing us to take vouchers even though we said we weren't staying there, gambling, or going to the restaurant ... Very pushy and off-putting but the place itself has a lot of cool shopping places as well as the flamingos.
I loved the hotel and the Tacos and Margaritas restaurant located inside of the hotel!!! Very nice
