Love all the pink. Great that you can walk underground to Paris
Overall, the Flamingo hotel is the good quality price on the strip. It s clean. Fortunately, they did upgrade us with the Cosmopolitan room, but the room was old (80 s style). You can enjoy the pool, one for party and one that is more family oriented.
Horrible experience if you see the bad reviews believe em ! Spend so much money for nothing exspensive sloppy food .no pool weve been trying for days. Dirty place non professional
This hotel feels old and run down. Bathroom in our room was dirty with very bad water pressure. A/C unit was so loud we had to turn it off while we were sleeping. Bed is in uncomfortable and pillows were inconsistent.
I called the front desk and requested an extra blanket and never received it.
You are only allowed to add 2 devices to WiFi, and then it s 15 bucks per extra device. Who doesn t have a phone and laptop when traveling?
Overall just not a nice place.
I do not intend to return or recommend this hotel to anymore.
We love this place, but our last experience was a story of highs and lows. We took 10 people for a promotion payoff for salespeople. Half the rooms looked like they had never been updated from the original build and the other half were brand new. Loved the flamingo habitat, but had a bad experience being ripped off by an aggressive salesperson in one of the shops in the hotel. We had a great time overall, but the experience made us want to stay somewhere else next time. We reported the ripoff situation in one of the shops to the management of the hotel and then again via an email review sent by the hotel when we got home. No one ever responded to my concerns.
Very hospitable hotel with great, helpful staff. From the concierge, housekeeping, bar staff till the dealer's at blackjack, they're all there doing their best to let you have a great and memorable experience in Las Vegas! Thanks guys !
Just stayed at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas. Very impressed with our room, updated, clean and staff very helpful and friendly. We decided to opt out of our rooms being cleaned daily but the cleaning staff were more than happy to change our towels daily.
We loved the pool area, one note is if you want a seat you should get in line around 8:30 a.m as it fills up rather fast.
Great location! Nothing negative to say about the Flamingo.
Great hotel, rooms very big and comfortable, great casino and service. Stayed at a double room with no particular view.
This will be our go to place to stay in Vegas. Its close to everything and the staff works hard to make sure your stay is good. We did miss having a coffee maker in the room...coffee drinkers need that just to walk across the room in the morning.
Enjoy the stay at Flamingo. Room was very nice if they add Microwave and coffee pot to the room would be 5 Stars. Buffet at Flamingo is a must.
The renovated rooms are great! Wonderful location...right in the middle of the strip. Everytime we walked in someone tried to give us a free show or dinner....if we went to a time share presentation. Some keep pushing after you say no...leave us alone!
I enjoyed my stay. Very nice rooms, hotel and pool. I gave a 3 star only because of the fact that the wifi is terrible and every time you put your phone down and goes off. It s really annoying to keep connecting
It every time I pick up my phone again. Also the walls are very thin, so you can hear music from other rooms and if they have the tv on you can hear it through. Luckily I was tired last night so I didn t need to complain about it and fell asleep right away, but still terrible walls.
Also getting to go to the pool was a headache. I understand this is all for social distancing but it s very annoying to rely on a wait list. We are paying a resort fee for amenities and we barely used them.
PS. The guestlist barcode for t mobile users does not work at all so we had to go down in person right before the pool opened and had to talk to someone hoping they would let us in. Terrible system and unfair to the people who want to use the pool.
Nice older style. Beautiful courtyard. Piff the magic dragon show was a lot of fun!
Booked 2 rooms in celebration of my daughter's Sweet 16th on June(6) 16, 2020. This was also Legend Tupac birthday as well. Gemini season.
Great clean fun love the flamingo and also my concierge Alejandro zepeda goes above and beyond great person.
Trying to enjoy brunch FREEZING!!!! Employees says it's ALWAYS FREEZING. EVERYONE eating with coats on on. Come on paid ytomuch $$$
It's a resort, but nothing is included, you will pay for everything
This was one of the worst experiences I ever had in Vegas. This hotel is old, outdated, and has the worst customer service ever!! Not to mention there was a power outage that no one seemed to care about. I would rather book a reservation to sleep on a sidewalk before the flamingo ever again.
Nice inexpensive place. Would be nice if more valet parking spaces were available. There was no parking, so we parked pretty far.
Loved staying here. The remodeled rooms are very contemporary and comfortable. Nice size too - I've stayed in some shoeboxes before, but this room actually had some space to move around in. No bathtub, but a well-lighted mirror and a make-up mirror, plus the king bed comes with a chaise lounge near the window, and a small table. And a fridge! That was a pleasant surprise. I got a great deal on Cyber Monday, but I know prices are usually pretty good in September too, just a hint!
The room was recently remodeled,, clean, and comfortable. The hotel was also clean and conveniently located (center strip). The staff was friendly and we enjoyed the casino, sports book, the garden bar, and the flamingo habitat. The buffet was just ok though, nothing special. All in all a great stay.
Great hotel! The casino can be a little brutal, but overall everyone here is very nice and informative. Convenient location on the strip. Would recommend and will return!
Flamingo is great with plenty to do even in the pandemic...however the rooms are just bland.
Worst worst hotel I have ever visited in term of customer support. We wasted more than 3 hours after checking in since they give us room full of dust. They promised to clean it even when we requested for room change. We were out for 2 hours but the room was not cleaned. The manager was the worst part, changing words every time and she does not think the hotel wasted our time even though we wasted more than 3 hours to get room changed with 3 times visiting the front desk!!! First room in the photo was the old building with really poor room condition. They finally gave us a room in the new building on LinQ side. The remodeled rooms better than the old ones but can't sleep since you can hear the club music through the night on weekend.
Room was ok, nothing great. Casino games are kind of dated. Great staff.
Good food and great service. The waitress noticed we were watching Liiberty high school beat Bishop Gorman and the waitress changed the TV neatest us to the game without us asking.
Stayed there couple of days and unable to get in the swimming pools pools, waste of money and time. Never going back.
Pros - Location, right across Caesar Palace, easy to walk on Vegas Strip. Newly renovated room.
Important Cons - we booked a high roller view double bed room, we check in near 10pm, register told us no room is available, instead of upgrade, we are given the downgrade option of no view and asked to come to counter for room change between 10am to 2pm, who would be so free to standby for room change when it is a short visit.
The kids and I were very happy here. Very clean and very friendly staff. Gorgeous pool.
Best hotel (as of yet!) I've stayed at. Beautiful on the outside and in.
Outside garden before the pool area with live flamingoes and birds. Free to anyone. Beautiful but parts by the water/animals did smell. Church is so small and sweet. Perfect spot for an outdoor wedding!
Pool is open for everyone, as far as I know its free! Dress code is very strict! Pool is clean, lots of spaces to sit in and out of shade. Upper area seems more family friendly for kids. The bar staff were so friendly! Best variety of drinks.
Check in and out process was so simple! Included in my stay were coupons for the restaurant and bars in the hotel.
Staff was so friendly and giving. As crazy as it was there you could tell staff was genuine caring to help.
To rooms are not very modern. But we just slept there so it was no big deal. They did start remodeling close to our room at about 900 AM. Payouts weren't very often on the machines. Bar maid service was horrible. Lobby and the habitat were very nice. Location on the strip was good but if you had to go down the strip past the hotel, it was not very user friendly for disabled people. Buffet was good, lots to choose from but pricey if you have no comps. Buffet service was good. Bed was comfy. Look for room deals.
The hotel was very nice. Check in lines were not bad unless you wanted to speak with someone. When we arrived to our room I noticed that I had recieved a non smoking room. I had booked a smoking room 3 months ago. When I went to the desk to ask to get it changed they had said that they dont have any available. So that was really my only complaint.
Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Great view as well.
Great buffet and loved the wildlife habitat area. The flamingos were beautiful!
The place is great! Modern, CLEAN, roomy! We are staying in the queen bunk room and it's fantastic. The seating area is great for relaxing at the end of a LONG day! Loving it here!
Great rooms but customer service needs some work. Front desk messed up credit cards and maintenance took too long.
Had the worst experience when we chose to stay at this hotel. To start with, we booked for a king, non-smoking room; but we were allocated a 2-queen bed smoking room(which we never knew it was smoking until we went inside our room). As soon as we entered the room, there was heavy smoke. Immediately we complained to the lobbyists and they said we can t change room. It was almost 11pm, but not much energy in both of us, we came back to our room and decided to live in that Smokey room even if it is just one night. We used our deodorant in the room, to overcome that smoke smell. I wanted to shower before hitting the bed. When I went inside the bathroom, they never had any toiletries as travel-size bottles. Instead there was a boxed container for each toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion(as seen in pictures below). Worst part, body wash, lotion and hand wash never worked - meaning they were empty. Again front desk folks never bothered to care for it. They negotiated our request saying house cleaning will come in the morning - around 11am and they ll refill it. When I told that it s checkout time for us, and they never bothered.
My gentle advise - please don t book this hotel even if you re staying one night.
So far the hotel has been amazing g and super accommodating. The pool randomly closed and I requested a room credit and was given one. Shouldn t charge resort fees for a closed pool, no pool....not a resort! Other than that great deal on a room with a view!
Family and I stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay! The location and price are unbeatable! Rooms were decent sized for standard rooms. Very clean throughout the property. No check in or check out issues, very easy. Use cash for your deposit on your rooms so you get cach back at checkout. If traveling with small kids there is not much of course for children and pools are not geared towards kids either. Decent sized casino floor with all the fun games and slots! Food court was not too expensive did not eat buffet. Definitely will be back!!
Good place Animal outside flamingo birds turtle Some people smoke
We love this hotel. Our stay was amazing. Big rooms, clean, cheap, good views and not noisy. We've stayed in other hotels before but always very noisy.
Self check in was easy and quick. It even ask you if you want an upgrade
Passing thru to visit the habitat..Clean inviting atmosphere with a 1920s style and feel. Loved the Flamingo habitat...most were not wanting to move as it was cold and early...
Love this place bc I always WIN! No frills just a great place.
Had a great time. Guests were respectful to the whole covid situation. Stayed inside for the most part but enjoyed a day in the pool. Overall, a great experience.
Rooms are decent but you can't beat the location on the strip!
Our view was amazing! The room was nicely updated, but they forgot the bathroom. The heater only blew cold air. The staff were wonderful and very welcoming. Overall it was good!
This place has changed a lot. Many more entertainment options. Wish there were more dining options in the hotel.
This place was AWESOME! Beautiful scenery! Such a beautiful place! We enjoyed it completely! The night life was worth it as well!
Didn't stay here but loved the shops, casino, and ambiance.
Flamingo Hotel
I was told that this was one of the most affordable hotels in the middle of the strip so I was definitely hesitant because I knew that would attract a certain crowd of people. However, upon arrival I was surprised to see a variety of guests of different ages! The decor of the hotel itself is very nice. Lots of bright colors and fresh white tiles. The check-in line took a little bit of time but there were only 5 reps attending guests so I guess there wasn't much to complain about.
Checking in was a breeze! My rep was Ronnell and he was a young, cheerful rep who was very customer-friendly. We had a lovely chat about the types of events that were taking place during our stay and he recommended a few ideas for my party. Ronnell even went so far as to upgrade our room--now that's what I call customer service! The room we stayed in was the Go Room, 1-king bed with a view of the high roller. We had an amazing audio system with a subwoofer and lots of space to host our own parties before stepping out at night!
This hotel loses one star for their terrible room service. During our stay, our sliding bathroom door fell off its hinge and we immediately called guest services to go ahead and have a technician fix it. We called several times during the day and expected it to be fixed at some point but we didn't get it fixed until the next day... Talk about an awkward situation for everyone who came over! My only other complaint is that we had gotten noise complaints from having our music play too loud and we were treated very rudely by security. What's the point in offering a subwoofer stereo system if we are just going to get in trouble for blasting the music?
Overall it was a very good experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who's looking for an affordable hotel located conveniently at the center of the LV strip.
Very pretty architecture. And I enjoy the buddha and the flamingos
We stayed here years ago and came back a second time. Back then, they were just building the ferris wheel. Now it is nice to just have it practically in the back yard of this resort. The best thing about this resort is that it is blocks away from the strip, without the hustle and bustle of the strip. Actually, it feels like you are miles away from Vegas yet you are in the heart of Vegas. The pool area is quiet. It was very relaxing to swim and use the juccuzi after a long day of walking and sightseeing. There are no resort fees. Each unit has a full kitchen so that you don't have to go out to eat every night. They have resort activities, but we did not participate in any of them. We were too busy going on day trips to the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon and Zion.
Parking is priced at in picture. We where there 1 hour so it would have been $9 when we left they charged us $20. They claimed that there were special event parking on Saturday morning July 6 and that there is a sign posted saying it was $20 parking for special event. We were not there for a special event we were there to eat breakfast. The sign that is listed in the picture below was up in every entrance including the elevators with nothing over it saying a $20 fee.
Fun casino. We went in hoping to find some $5 blackjack but $10 was minimum (getting to be the vegas standard). Still had a good time.
Scored on a couple slots and did some souvenir shopping.
The flamingo sanctuary was neat and very relaxing beautiful.
Stayed for a week and had a great time. Rooms were large and comfortable only down side was the bathroom doors left little to the imagination! Casino and shops were nice and location was perfect.
It was really interesting to walk through some of the vegas hotels, I really wouldn't want to spend too much time in them, they stink of smoke and bo, and dissappointed dreams but really enjoyed walking through the flamingos park, and it has free wifi
I usually decline housekeeping because I tend to have expensive gear and in the past I've had jewelry stolen from housekeeping. So when I showed up to check into my room, there's signs encouraging guests to decline housekeeping & get a $10 credit for food & beverage. This works great for me. EVERY other hotel I've ever stayed at, will put a nice note under the door or call and check up on you if you don't have service for a couple days. I get it, making sure all is well. Apparently, here at Flamingo, when you refuse housekeeping you are consenting to someone entering your room without permission and inspecting your personal belongings. If I know ANYONE, including a housekeeper is ever to enter my room, I put stuff away and don't leave personal items laying around. I walked up to my room yesterday and noticed my door was cracked open. Scared, I waited for a bit before entering my room. Knowing I have gear out, I didn't know what I was going to walk in to. SO many questions wondering why my door was cracked open. I anxiously opened my door to see a man who had stepped over personal clothing standing by the phone looking at my stuff. I looked panicked. He claims he was doing a well check. UM...a well check?!?! If he was doing a so called well check, it shouldn't take more then 2 seconds to see that I'm clearly busy and in and out of my room. Also, if they looked at my account, I was just at the spa that was billed to my room. It is HIGHLY inappropriate to have a man go through a women's room without any knowledge that this was EVER to occur. This so called policy is not being informed to guests during check-in. It was triggering and I feel violated and I do not feel safe. If I could, I would go stay at another location but I didn't book this room for myself due to work. I don't need someone to come into my space without consent or knowledge. They claim it's only a well check making sure the guests aren't dead or in need of medical. If that's really the case, this policy needs a serious re-working because what I just experienced is not appropriate in any way shape or form.
The location of the Flamingo in Las Vegas is what really made the rating this high for me. You just can not beat this location, conveniently in the middle of the strip with easy access to Caesars Palace and the LINQ promenade (steps from In In-N-Out Burger!). The pools are also really great with tropical landscaping. What the Flamingo is lacking is housekeeping. We checked into a room later in the evening and while we found the room adequate with a great view of the High Roller, we realized the next morning that the room was quite dirty. There was makeup on the lamp, and questionable stains on the walls near the mirror and bathroom. We did switch rooms, and were moved to a much cleaner room. Despite this we would stay here again. The value and again location can not be beat!
If you're in Vegas and looking for a pool party the GoPool dayclub at the flamingo is amazing! We had a cabana and if you have a group it's worth it! We had Brandi as our cocktail waitress and she was the best waitress I've ever had, we had an absolute blast. We were there for throwback Thursday and our only disappointment was they didn't play any throwback music.
Great location and good prices. Cant ask for a better combination. Check out the live flamingo exhibit with ducks and Koi. Right next to the Linq promenade.
The paradise buffet is very good with a beautiful view. I enjoyed the food so much.
They didn't have the Diamond Lounge when I was there. I heard they made a steakhouse out of it.
The rooms were spacious and clean. Check in/out was a bit tedious. No microwave in the room nor coffeepot but small fridge and safe was nice. I enjoyed my stay..
Room was fairly nice, but no extras. No coffee, bar or snacks. Room service was running over 1.5 hours behind. I really hate how this particular hotel has sales people that attack you trying to sell you god knows what every time you go in the lobby. Asking how long will you be in vegas? I m no prude because I realize what Vegas is know for. Sin city right? But if I want girls dancing in my face I feel I should go looking for it. The casino loses class at night with girls dancing on table tops while your trying to gamble. Ugh. This was tasteless for us. Had to go across the street to play tables.
A perfect location. For the Vegas trip this place is where I would always want to stay. Not too costly (we get deals occasionally) and right in the middle of the strip. Both sides of the strip are in walking distance. Not just this hotel but for the hotels I hate the fact that they charge parking fees. Also, the registration is very crowded sometimes.
One money has fun great drinks will return and bring some friends
Easy check in. Great price for a quality room.
Great location. My first visit to Vegas and it didn't disappoint.
Room was beautiful until a roach ran across my bed.. horrible service had to have my room switched prior to this incident. Never will I stay here again.
Only talking about the pool/pool party here.
Kind of an older crowd. Like 30-50 years old, versus the 21+ crowd at other places. We got this package through World Crawl (awful by the way ) which included access to this pool. I would not pay to enter this place. There s a stage for dancing, bathrooms are clean, the bar isn t too crowded.
The pool is not heated like competitor Drai s and doesn t nearly pack the same crowd. The Ferris wheel is immediately behind so can make for nice pictures. It s fine, I wouldn t return.
Goid place, but did not get to use the pools! Waiting list, so if you go here, get on the list right away!
Good. Beds were okay. Was on non-smoking floor but the smell came through the vent. We went out and bought an air freshener. Very convenient for the monorail.
Very kind staff Casino was very clean didn't win a lot could have been better but that's Vegas for you we had a great time and we enjoyed our stop at the Flamingo
The casino was amazing but the servers were really white Brenda. Even though I was putting money in left and right every time I would come over they would kind of ignore me even though I spent hundreds of dollars. Other than that the casino itself is cool and there's plenty of attractions nearby
Older Hotel/Casino, but very nice rooms and very strategicly located on the strip. Also just walk out the back entrance and you are on the link. Excellant dollar value. We stay here every time we come to Vegas.
ROOMS ARE CLEARLY NOT CLEANED. THIS ROOM HAD DUST ALL AROUND AND UNDER OUR BED, YOU CAN SEE IT AROUND THE FURNITURE. THE COMFORTER ITSELF WAS YELLOW NOT EVEN WHITE. WE HAD A NON SMOKING ROOM BUT IT DEFINATELY SMELLED LIKE SMOKE. WE PUT TOWELS TO COVER ANY OUTSIDE SMELLS FROM COMING IN WHICH HELPED A BIT. I AM SO GLAD WE TRAVEL WITH OUR OWN BEDDING & CANDLE. WHEN WE BROUGHT THIS UP TO THE FRONT DESK & SHOWED THEM THE PICTURES & VIDEO. ALL THEY SIMPLY SAID IS THEY WILL MAKE A NOTE FOR HOUSEKEEPING!!?? WHAT? NOT ONCE DID THEY APOLOGIZE, OFFER A REFUND OF THE "CLEANING FEES", OR OFFER A DIFFERENT ROOM, AND FINALLY NOT ONCE DID WE HAVE HOUSEKEEPING COME TO OUR ROOM. I WOULDN'T EVEN GIVE IT ONE STAR BUT THERE'S NO OPTION TO DO THAT.
This place is an oldy but goody, the staff is really nice and professional. We had fun losing and wining. Now I know why people from all over World come here. It doesn't matter if you win or loose, what matters most is that you have fun doing it.
Not bad. Came here for a conference and they did a great job hosting our group! Check in took long (about 30 minutes) and it seemed a little outdated. However, love the location and being right great food and shopping!
