Love the location of the Flamingo, monorail station stops right at the hotel and it is easy to walk around the strip. Lots to do and see near the hotel. Our room was large but the bathroom was in need of a remodel in a bad way. Tiles missing, wall paper pealing, no storage (the vanity has a solid front), rusted fixtures, etc. Also not enough outlets in the room and no USB plugs, a weird strip extension cord under the desk. No fridge or coffee maker in the room. The room was a disappointment but Vegas is always a fun trip!

From last guest. Bathroom
Smelled like cigarette smoke. Loud dance music from outside until 4am. $186/night. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere

My family stayed here one night as part of a road trip. The hotel room was large, clean, and beautiful, with a nice view. The hotel is centrally located, with a beautiful courtyard area with flamingos. The parking garage was a bit hard to find, but we had a great short stay at this hotel.

I would give this hotel 5 stars if there weren't some flaws with my room. One of the lamps wouldn't turn on, and the little caddy for the electronic mirror remote would not stay on the wall. There was a tissue box holding it in place, as if they knew and this was their way of fixing it...but not a big deal because the mirrors were inoperable due to coronavirus. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel. Not only are the hotel expenses some of the lowest of all the resorts, but there's plenty to do within it. You have rooms with beautiful views of the high roller and other lavish sites, the crystal clear pools, the flamingo habitat which also homes gigantic koi fish, ducks, and black swans, several stores, and the casino is huge! Luckily, the Flamingo is also part of an alley way full of snack stores, daiquiri bars, and more. A fabulous hotel that's not overpowering on glamour. Definitely a must.

We just got back from staying at the Flamingo and my first trip to Vegas! I absolutely loved this hotel! It was clean and looked great! I even loved that the lobby didn t smell like smoke when you walked in. We visited almost all of the other surrounding hotels on the strip and when you walked into the lobby they smelled like smoke! The only thing I would say they need more of is elevators on other sides of the hotel and not just in the one spot. Outside of that we will definitely stay at the Flamingo again!

Desperately needs to be remodeled. My shower was rusty and the room was poorly cleaned. Understanding it s one of the oldest hotel in Las Vegas but it still should look a little more decent.

It's a great location. Just needs an update. A lot of the stuff is still the original. The flamingo exhibit was great. The wifi was inconsistent in the rooms and not worth the resort fee. The gym was well equipped that you could do the workout. The breakfast credit was great and made meal planning easier.

We had a fun stay at the Flamingo. There for a pre-NFL weekend. The sports book was convenient and not overwhelming. We hung out at the Garden Bar for one game and was totally comfortable hanging out there. We had great dinner at the Center Cut in the hotel. The buffet was excellent for breakfast. All the bartenders were attentive. Centrally located and easy to get around from there. Like most of the hotels, getting a Lyft pick up there was tough. We usually took a cab from there then Lyft d back.

Excellent location. Rpoms look recently renovated and beds are very comfortable. It's not a huge casino/hotel so getting your bearings was very easy. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend it and stay here again

Staying for 3 nights was put literally in the last room of the floor. Have to walk like a half a mile to get to elevators. Will not be staying at any caesars hotels anymore. Considering I gamble thousands of dollars at my home casino in isle Blackhawk co I figured I would be treated well like I am treated in Colorado. Was not the case and will be changing to Boyd property's in future because of this stay.

We have stayed at the Flamingo many times. Always found it to be clean, and check in a breeze. It s not the high end of the strip hotels but the price, the location is perfect for us. Love the pools. One thing..the music at the pool gets trashy. I mean we re not prudes or anything but reel that back a bit.

The Flamingo is a nice place to visit. Truely a place for the senses. I didn't stay at the hotel but, I did gamble. My only complaint is, even when I was hitting at the tables no sever asked if I wanted a drink. I had to bring my own to the tables and buy one when I walked away.

We just checked in at 7pm. We were told our room wasn t ready yet. When talked to an agent to check us in they gave us a down graded room that is very old and nothing special. For the money we are paying and being a platinum member...I expected better service. Especially since the pandemic shutdown and Vegas trying re open. Disappointed in our experience so far.

Dated casino, but classic. The casino floor itself is heavily perfumed, likely to cover the years of tobacco smoke. The games are fun, and the dealers are entertaining. They have beer pong and pub games at one bar, and amazing drink specials. Overall fun, but the place has seen better days.

Good hotel... If you are traveling with kids, make sure you have a Microwave in the room to warm the milk... It's tough to go out in the middle of the night to cafeteria to warm up the milk while your baby wakes up the entire floor crying....

Markasha Hopper deserves a raise!!!! The most kind and caring person. She totally helped me out when I was inebriated. She stayed with me the whole time from finding my room to wheeling me around and then getting me keys! Markasha, thank you so ver very much! From the bottom of my heart, I thank you!!!

I didn't really like the old appearance of the rooms. I know that people are drawn to it because of the fact that it's the first casino but it really needs to be updated. There's a cd/dvd player in the room and no one has those anymore so it was useless. I did however, enjoy the mexican restaurant in the lobby and the casino. It needs an update but my friends and I had a good time.

Most of the staff don't treat u as a guest, most of them are ride and way overbearing about having ur mask on! It ruined my gambling experience and interrupted my vacation to the point where I'm even more tensed up and irritable. The Wi-Fi was a joke and would disconnect while I'm tryna make a call or browse. Hands down Worst hotel in Nevada

I did not stay here but came for the buffet. I would have to say the buffet was excellent. As I don't live near the ocean, I gravitated to the sea food. I thoroughly enjoyed the offerings and they tasted very fresh and well prepared. The selection is immense and met my expectations of what I have heard of the legendary Las Vegas buffets. I would come back again just for the crab legs alone. The shellfish were also fantastic. Staff were decent. It was a memorable part of my first and likely only visit to Las Vegas.

This is one the older hotels on the block but it stands up pretty well. The room is nice but not over the top great. The staff was accommodating and brought everything we asked for. The casino is small and has a personal feel to it. I loved the live flamingos and other birds in the court yard area. Today we check out the pool!

Really nice casino with excellent machines and tables for those who like to gamble.

I personally preferred the wildlife and took GREAT PLEASURE in watching the rescued birds do their thing. So cool that the animals were able to get another chance by the kindness and dedication of the folks at The Flamingo.

Wanna gamble? Check out the Flamingo! Want well mixed drinks? Check out the Flamingo! Want to see rescued birds and lots of other awesome stuff? CHECK OUT THE FLAMINGO!!

The room is very rundown and dirty. Our first night here water stopped and we couldn t even use the toilet or wash up. On top of that, while waiting what seemed like a life time for the hotel engineer, I looked over at the night stand and there were a bunch of old boogers stuck to the side. I m so disgusted and disappointed with this hotel. It s great location on the strip yes but next time i d rather spend more and stay at the wynn!

Soooooo disorganized! Rooms were old and outdated(no microwave) Really!! Check-in was a nightmare, getting an answer about anything was horrible and unresolved. Never stay here! Aweful. We were there for Halloween but realized it was a "trick" that offered no "treat"... Yeah, it was BAD!

My best friend and I spent our birthday week at the Flamingo! It was great! The hotel was beautiful. The Go Pool was awesome! We spent two days there. The location on the strip is perfect for seeing all the sights. We opted to upgrade and get early check-in which may have been our best decision ever. I will probably never stay any where else in Vegas!

I have stayed in the Flamingo 3 different times for academic conferences. The event spaces are very nice. The rooms are nice as well. It is very conveniently located on the Las Vegas strip.

Location is the only reason this place gets any stars. The new Go rooms are also pretty decent for one of the lower end hotels on the strip. The casino itself is so dated and boring. The staff all seem to have attitudes like they hate being there. The drink service is appalling. They really need to pay attention to customer service because staying center strip will no longer be my priority when so many surrounding casinos are doing so much better.

The Flamingo Las Vegas IS Las Vegas... that's all ...

The Flamingo Las Vegas IS Las Vegas... that's all there is to it.

One of the few remaining bastions of the past, it has undergone renovations in recent years, successfully recovering it's former position at the forefront of luxury accommodations available on the Strip in Vegas.

The first time I ever visited Las Vegas was in the mid-80s and I was about six years old. My parents were visiting for a tourism conference, and were booked to stay at The Flamingo Hilton.

I will never forget pulling up to the hotel that night. Following our arrival at Las Vegas airport, we took a taxi over to the strip and arrived at our hotel. I can still see this image in my mind: twinkling pink lights mixed with bigger, glowing bulbs, shiny marble surfaces, sparkling finishes- it was flashy, swanky, and ALL style. This was my kind of place.

Of course, the mid-80s in Las Vegas was no place for children, and my parents promptly shipped me off to stay with some family friends outside of town for the duration of their stay. I never forgot that special feeling I felt during that short visit to this hotel, it was an experience that stayed with me for the next 30 years.

As fate would have it, my family relocated to Utah in the mid 90s. With closer proximity to Las Vegas and I would travel through or to the town numerous times over the course of the next ten or so years. It was during those years that the flamingo Hilton experienced its downfall. The hotel was starting to become tired and worn down. Unlike it's newer competitors at that time, the Flamingo was not investing money into rebranding or marketing of any kind, so it's no surprise that I never happened to stay there in all those times I was in town.

In fact it wasn't until this past fall that I would return to this place of magic I so fondly recalled from my childhood. Much to my dismay, we touched down in that lobby and I relived those moments from 33 years prior.

And that's one of the many things I love about this resort. They have managed to do what is ultimately in the best interest of both the hotel as well as the city of Las Vegas itself. That is, they have successfully captured the essence of the original style and appearance that made the Flamingo Hilton famous, and subsequently put Las Vegas on the map.

Today this hotel is a perfect combination of that style from the past, combined with the modern luxury and convenience of our present. Here lies the epicenter of Las Vegas tourism: a smorgasbord of everything this town has to offer, served up on a hot pink platter.

Indeed,Flamingo Las Vegas is the embodiment of Las Vegas history, future, culture, style and energy. For these reasons, among others, I will only stay at the Flamingo when I travel to Las Vegas and I highly recommend that you pursue this experience for yourself.

This is a great value for a hotel on the strip. Refurbished rooms are clean and modern. If you have a strip view room on the side of the Cromwell, make sure you get a high floor, otherwise all you see is the ugly side of a building.

I don t usually recommend hotels, but this one is so clean and comfortable. Modern design and decors. A very nice option. Beautiful building and amazing garden!!!
We stayed at 2 Queens | High Roller View room, impressive view and good for families stay. Buffet is reasonable price, staffs are friendly. Also super convenient to the nearby places. Definitely on our next come back stay list.

No room service or care about people actually social distancing or wearing masks. We were not informed about how to make pool reservations so we only got to go swimming on the last day. Food is good but significantly overpriced. Also you can only have 2 devices connected to Wifi per room.

Classic Vegas hotel. It's been here for a long time. With that being said, I would have expected the condition of the room to be rough. I was impressed at the cleanliness of the room. The decor was dated but the beds were comfortable and the hotel was conveniently located on the strip. Reasonable bill for two nights considering where we were. Vegas ain't cheap. I will consider staying here again next visit.

So the first room was really nice, however it was not what I asked for and the air wasn't working properly. The suite was very dated and I was warned before she changed the room. The view from the suite was amazing. Overall I enjoyed my stay

Not staying at the Flamingo so cannot comment about the rooms but visited the gift shop and the bird sanctuary at the back of the hotel with the live flamingos and other ducks and birds. So pretty!

If I ever visit Vegas again I might stay at the Flamingo.

I stayed at this hotel in January 2019 on my first visit to Vegas. The experience at this hotel was amazing. The atmosphere is tons of fun. The casino is huge. My whole experience here was great. I would love to stay here again.
