It was good. Not amazing. But would stay here again. Centrally located to everything you need on the strip. Check in was smooth. Check out was easy. WIFI was a little in and out at times. Only complaint was the pool. We didn't get to use it once. And you cannot bring outside drinks. It's a party pool. Staff was pleasant, and we opted for the room credit in exchange to not get our room cleaned. Black our blinds were a real treat!

As with most Caesar's properties, Flamingo has a unique vibe to it. The garden and animal/zoo area is fun, and the casino has a good offering of slots. Fun place to gamble to mix things up a bit.
The food was alright at the buffet. But our server was pretty mean. I got the $5 add on for mimosas and bloody Mary's. She didn't ask what I wanted and brought me a mimosa. when I asked for a bloody instead she snatched my cup off the table and brought me one, but didnt make eye contact or say anything when she came back. Just an overall rude demeanor. It was really cool to see the live flamingos outside of the buffet area while we were eating. The price of the buffet here ($25) is a great deal for a Las Vegas strip buffet!
Not impressed at all. The room was dirty. The carpet was filthy. Found marijuana in the room and other things. Shampoo and conditioner dispenser in the shower (good for saving the environment) but terrible products in the dispenser. No soap to wash my hands at the sink. The bed was uncomfortable (and we "upgraded"). I travel the world and domestic often, and this was among the disappointed stays I have had.
Place was fun. A bit obsessive about social distancing. Our party of four kept getting split up. We were told we couldn't stand anywhere either. They require you to "Keep Walking Around".
The worst come to have a nice relaxing night and at 7 am construction noise very loud if they would of told me before I would of stayed some where else
Good location, but a little sketchy and definitely dated. Didn't really enjoy the atmosphere personally. The pizza place in here literally charges $40 for a cheese pizza and $5 for a bottle of water. Spend $15/$20 bucks more a night to stay elsewhere.
LOVE this hotel, great rooms, reasonably priced, pool is awesome! Just be aware of all the covid 19 restrictions, especially the pool, GET IN LINE BEFORE THE POOL OPENS!!
Service was generally good. Room temperature did not adjust properly. Room uncomfortably cool. Layout confusing (at least to me,although I overheard similar comments.
Clean, great location, affordable. Checking in took a long time. Lots people checking in but few employees working the desk. When I checked out, I needed to see an employee. Took so long because they were understaffed. Everything said, I'd stay here again.
You MUST text to get a placement to use the pool. As a Flamingo guest you'd expect to get "1st dibs" when you text but we didn't receive any notice whatsoever to be able to use the pool. Also, controls and features to use stereo equipment and television in the bathroom were not working and/or not batteries in control. You had to leave a voice mail to receive extra towels. Don't think we'll ever come back unless they really work out their glitches.
The story of Flamingo is so interesting, one of the first hotels to open in Las Vegas and still remains, if you're visiting Vegas you should check this place out, the Flamingo conservatory is beautiful, I can't speak about the rooms since I didn't stayed in this place, but the building is old and so is the interior, strong tobacco smell and some poor maintenance, but I'm sure the rooms are average looking
Its central to all of the strip. Extremely clean and your room cleaned on a daily basis. Staff are very helpful and food areas plentiful and you dont wait to long no matter how long the queues are.
Very nice! All of the staff that we have come in contact with have been very professional and friendly. Everything is very clean! Our room was large and comfortable!
Beautiful hotel right in the middle of the strip. Has all kinds of goodies. Clean. Crisp. Great views. The pink and green light in the room was a plus!
I enjoyed visiting this casino it was very clean and the machines were more seperated. They have a bird sanctuary on the back side of the casino that you can go view also with beautiful waterfalls. I enjoyed looking around and exploring. Also, enjoyed taking pictures.
The flamingos location is very nice it s close to so many great things like the high roller and a few of Gordon Ramsay s restaurants. However, there is not a lot of service in the casino itself. We had much better luck and a lot nicer staff at other hotels. The people in the lobby trying to sell you things got quite annoying. We had the same guy approach us twice in 15 minutes for something we didn t even qualify for. It got to the point where we just avoided our own hotel lobby.
Long line to check in. Non smoking room smells like smoke. We booked a king size bed, and we got 2 queen. Phone in room does not work. Front desk people are rude. Our view is a concrete wall. We were told are room was newly decorated. Furniture is damaged. Not clean. Will not stay here next time.
Perfect location on the strip for a base, hotel is lovely with the bonus of it being such an integral part of LV history . We stayed on the 28th floor (top floor) the rooms are very spacious with plenty of storage . Would certainly return to the flamingo . Staff are lovely too
This place need customer service classes..Especially the manager Tyrus... Super rude.. and please don't waste your time with pool they have one and don't rotate properly....this hotel ruined my trip..they are not organized... alot of other guest was complaining as well
Not too pleased with the customer service. Front desk said the pool is 1st come, 1st serve and to get there by 10am due to COVID-19. Get to the pool and they said no, to txt a virtual waiting list and you ll receive a txt IF something opens. We texted last night and early this morning and still no txt. Waist of time, just wait until everything goes back to normal.
Great facility on the strip with close access to everything you want and need! Health spa (gym) free to use for exercise. Great views of the Bellagio and Caesars properties on one side and the red rock canyons on the other
I visited the Habitat. It is in the back of the hotel pass the slot machines. It's a beautiful garden with plenty of places to sit and take photos of the flamingos. What I liked best was that it had a small gate or wall around it so that small kids wouldn't fall into the water which was filled with large fish and ducks. Please like if my post was helpful .
We stayed two nights at the good old Flamingo Hotel at the strip and our experience was sadly not good at all.
First we had a bad experience with an unfriendly manager at the front desk with the check-in. We did not get any information we requested as well not how to get to our room.
Second issue was a not so nice room at the 19th floor. It was not clean and loud from our neighbours and at night the Omnia club on the other side of the road was so loud, that sleep was impossible from 2 till 5!
Third issue was then checking-out: our car was booked twice for parking. It took a while to sort that out. Then we where told that we have to petbe resort fee of 39.95$ per night even if we had a confirmation of the travel agency that this was covert.
For me the Flamingo Hotel is no longer a option to stay there on future trips.
These are just the major issues, a list of minor issues is present as well... Closed pool, ice machine not present, defect carpets nearly allover, elevators ar very slow same like the internet at this hotel. Our room service switched off the refrigerator even we had drings and food stored in it. List goes on and on...
I booked a room at the Flamingo via a booking site. I realized my friend whom I'd be sharing a room with would be arriving several hours earlier so I added his name to the reservation via the same booking site, per Flamingo's instructions. I received a confirmation email with the upgraded reservation..so great!
Fast forward to the next day and the staff wouldn't give my friend the room keys. He had to sit in the casino for several hours waiting for me to arrive. When I asked what the problem was, it was shown that Flamingo had a clerical error and it appended my friends full name to my first name, so his first name appeared as my middle name! In spite of this, Flamingo offered no apology and no refund. They gave me the runaround to the booking site in spite of admitting fault, and and did put a dent on the bachelor party we were attending.
I assumed any hotel located on the strip would have great service, and I was mistaken. Honestly, if you're looking to save some money go to a cheap off-strip hotel and Uber it back and forth, you'll save money and it'll be a better experience. God forbid there are any hiccups with your reservation or your stay, do not expect any help from management. Their goal is to extract every last cent from their guests knowing another cohort of visitors is a few days away, that is their business model.
Honestly I have never stayed at a hotel that admitted fault but then refused to budge, if you stay at the Flamingo after reading this, any negative experiences are on you.
Stayed a week would not go back too many other better places to stay . We had an issue with excessive partying a few doors down till pass 2am and when I complained they dismissed it as if that s what we do here , yes do it on the strip not in your room. I also wrote an email to their management which I received no response. I have already expressed my displeasure to many friends and acquaintances as that is our only recourse to keep people from booking
We just stopped by to take pictures and tour the grounds. It was soooo pretty. There was a ton more that I didn t get to experience because the rest of the people with me wanted to leave. I ll go back another time to see it all!
Best budget hotel if you book in time. Great service. Clean. And you can ask for rooms with good views. When there is long queue for checkin they open a back side concierge.
Down side... smoking rooms does not have any ventilation. So If you smoke in your smoking room, you might get choked
The lottery/text system that is set up for the pool is immensely unsatisfactory. Marijuana smoke should be limited to just being outside and off premise. Since children are permitted in the facilities I find this to be highly unexceptional and a form of child abuse. If no housekeeping is to be done during this time of a pandemic then extra towels should be kept in the closet without being inconvenienced with having to call housekeeping. Also like many other reviews I have read detailing of the room is an aspect of fail you d hope not to hear a complain about. Miscellaneous pubic hair was behind the toilet, the grout is entirely a different color than what it used to be, a build up of dust along the wall. Also left a pair of $100 wireless headphones in room 17083 but are now M.I.A randomly. Oh well.
I always enjoy staying at the Flamingo and honestly it's probably my hotel of choice on the Strip these days. Many good food options, the linq promenade is right there with tons of bars/food options as well. Parking is easy for both self or valet.
Monorail stop is right there and easy access to go to airport quick.
Not as fancy as some other hotels, but really who needs that anyways. I would like to see the sports book updated some as its lacking a bit compared to other places.
I really enjoy the atmosphere at this resort. The pools are amazing and border a beautiful park that has flamingos, koi, and other wildlife to enjoy. The pools do have privacy fence so you don't have to feel like you are one of the exhibits. I enjoy sitting on a quiet bench in the shade to read a book and just unwind from the exhausting foot trek that always accompanies a journey on the strip. If you have kids, this is a perfect place to take a break. It's free to the public.
Outstanding , newly remodeled rooms. Courteous staff. Tiffany at the 21 table most energetic positive attitude making our experience memorable. Danny bell man so informative, check in at VIP quick and friendly service . Overall we will return. Thank you Flamingo Las Vegas.
The staff was Awesome. The upgrade was incredible. We could not have been in a more central to strip location. Walking distance to more variety and shows than we could have imagined. THANKS FLAMINGO RESORT!!
I really enjoyed my stay, i booked a renovated room and thats what i got. Only down side was room distance the elevator but that was just me being a lazy american. I would recommend staying at the Flamingo
I would recommend this hotel to everyone.... It's right in the middle of EVERYTHING!! Rooms are clean, service is very good people are so friendly! I heard flamingo is one of the oldest hotels here but definitely one of the best. Be careful with the timeshare people inside the hotel.
Nice hotel, employees was wearing the mask and gloves also they made sure all patrons in the casino wore mask. The pool for 3 days was in maintance and they did not notified until the day of opening.
Returning guest, upgraded our room to a high roller view which overlooks the roof below. Have to say we won't be back, not what we were expecting, small bathroom, $30 charge to get in before 4pm, pretty disappointing!
First time to Las Vegas. Reserved a room in March for July, 28, 2019. Arrived at 5:52 pm the 28, room was not ready. When we was able to check in they added an incidental room fee of $50 a day. We had pulled all money from account so no money was on card. We tried to pay cash but would not accept cash. So we have driven 1800 miles, 27 hours and no room. Don t know what we are going to do. The casino could care less. We are stuck. Will not come to Vegas ever again.
They gave us a room that was upgraded to the 27th floor ,and the bathroom was immaculate as well as the view ,you could see the belagio waterfulls from our room , thanks flamingo for the great hospitality, you are a class A location
To start with, they don't have enough parking for hotel guests. Two of the 3 nights we stayed, we had to park either at the Cromwell or across at Caesar's Palace. Walls are apparently paper thin as I was woken up On a Saturday morning at 7 by guests in the room next to us yelling at each other which lasted for around 3 hours. King size bed was comfy and we paid extra for a room with a view of the strip.
