I really want to give this place 5 Stars. Everything was perfect, room comfortable, really friendly and efficient front desk staff. The location is great. A 10 minute walk to Brooklyn Bridge and a 15minute walk to the Ferry. The only reason I didn't give this Hilton 5 stars was the internet was patchy. Kept dropping connection which meant I had to go to Starbucks to download files for work. Also the Exec Lounge was very low on Soda. Apart from those two things this place is great.

This Hilton is FILTHY and predominantly run by rude, unprofessional and inept people!

I had 6 room changes during my first day!

Filthy stained bath and bed linens. Crumbling wall material. Stained and disrepaired carpets and furniture.
Malfunctioning refrigerators and heating systems.

I spent 4 nights at this hotel in rooms with no heat.
I was given a mini size electric heater that the hotel felt was sufficient enough to heat a 450 sq. ft. room!

The blankets are all some form of static producing synthetic fiber that I am allergic to.

There is absolutely NO HEAT in the bathrooms!

The hotel was built faulty and shoddily. The construction is unskilled and already falling to disrepair.

The restaurant smelled like sewerage! ( A recent guest posted on Trip Advisor that he became violently ill after eating a Fish dish at the resataurant.)

There are far too many problems with this hotel to list!

Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere!

This was a super last minute booking I made (about an hour before arrival, at 1 am) but the staff at the front desk greeted me with a big smile and a nice bottle of water after my long travels. The room was very clean and surprisingly quiet. Unfortunately I had to wake up at 5 and head to work, so I didn't get to enjoy the executive lounge, the breakfast, or any of the other great amenities, but it was a nice stay and I'd like to stay again in the future

The hotel was great. Amenities were great and the staff was very helpful. Just irritated by the construction underneath. We never got any sleep due to them building a cafeteria under our floor. It's not the fault of the hotel, it was just extremely annoying and we were unable to move rooms. Our fridge also didnt work

Made my reservation over the phone through the 800 reservation number. They were really helpful. I paid for the bed and breakfast. Check in was really easy. It was fast too fast. I had to remind The check in agent that i paid for bed and breakfast package so I needed the voucher for the next morning. I never double checked the ticket. She recited the times and i was on my way.The room was smaller than what I expected but then I was reminded that was to be expected because of the location. Otherwise room was clean and nice. When the morning comes and I go down for breakfast at 10am, they tell me that the buffet ended at 9:30 but there was continental breakfast until 11. I was puzzled. I didn't pay extra to have cold cereal and tea. I was under the impression that i paid for hot buffet. I was accomdated but still wasn't happy. I felt like I was giving heated up food. I looked at the menu noticed the prices the continental was cheaper than what I paid when I booked so how was Hilton expecting me to pay for something where the value was off?

Small noisy run down hotel with completely absurdly high prices - based on the reviews and also on the basis of the price we had expected more and were totally disappointed:

As a Hilton Gold Member, I checked in online 24 hours in advance and selected a room on the 6th floor, at check-in the lady wanted to assign us a room on the 3rd floor first and then on the 4th floor. I then wanted to cancel and, miraculously, there was still a room on the 6th floor. I would have better canceled, because for just under 300 euros you can get a larger rabbit hutch as a room! There is only one chair in the room, the bathroom is tiny so two people cannot fit in at the same time. But the size fits the mini room.

The Executive Lounge is a joke: only very short opening times, a few cans of soft drinks as a drink offer and a leafy salad and fried and greasy mozzarella sticks with food. And there are only 2 tables to match the house. It is also amazing that dogs are allowed there, even on the chairs they are allowed to exercise.

The unfriendly and listless staff complete the program, I can only recommend avoiding this hotel!

Most accommodating & hospitable crew working here to really take care of the guests!!! Hilton Honors Gold got us upgraded rooms and all the perks. Great rooms with super nice bathroom. Receptionists and the Host at the Restaurant were quite friendly. A convenient location near all the bridges to Manhattan. A great NYC experience with A+ comfort!!!

Great location and within walking distance to the subway for easy access to all the sites in NYC. Brooklyn bridge is within walking distance. Explore Brooklyn while still having easy access to NYC. Breakfast wasn't that good, but 24 hour access to executive lounge for sodas or coffee was great.

I called earlier today to make a reservation for 1/1. The customer service rep was rude and unaccomadating and then switched me to the front desk where they could not book my reservation either. I love the Hilton but due to this poor customer service I booked at another hotel. It's really sad when you treat Hilton Honors members so poorly.

I would like to say that my stay at the Hilton was not good. I usually stay at the Sheraton but we decided to gave it a chance. It was not a good decision. Hubby and I went out on the town.We came back to our room AND nothing was done it was 10:pm. The bed was not made, they did not clean our bathroom or leave us new wash rags and towels. I notified the front desk he said that the house keepers were gone and they could not do anything. I ask what was we going to wash up with.That our wash rags are dirty.He sent up a man who gave us a hand towel for us to wash up with. I also was bamboozled we had to purchase a 25 gift card a day. This was unbelievable they charged me 25 dollar a day and we had to use it.When I said that we didn't want it they said that we would still be billed! I went to New York to enjoy my niece wedding and unfortunately they interrupted that.

Was supposed to stay at this hotel last month but due to the travel bans put in place I was no longer able to take my trip. I was told I could cancel my reservation for free but have been charged half of my booking amount! Have been chasing up the hotel for over a week but still no response! Very nice hotel in a great location. Close to shops and the subway. Barclays center. Lots of food options close by. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and quick to help or answer questions.

There is some good some bad. The rooms are 1/4 the size of a regular room. I was placed here for a long term contract and working hard to move to a different location as fast as possible. They have larger rooms but want for me to move 3 months worth of items for 2 days and then move back into the shoebox. The front desk people are very sweet. I don t want to go into detail until I move to a different hotel ... but if your here for more than an overnight I wouldn t recommend.

The staff was nice the food excellent my room was a decent size. My only issue with this place is there is bad cellphone service!!! I even had to move to another room in hopes of better cell service but it was the same thing. They charge alot they need better service.

Hilton Staff very friendly and knowledgable. Beds were comfortable and rooms clean at check in. With in walking distance of many restaurants and shops. The restaurant attached is pricey but food was very good. Highly recommend you try the local popsicle's they sell in the small store. Overall great stay.

We experienced some very disappointing series of events. The room that had the issues was 542 and the room that we had to move to was 346. Here are the issues we encountered:

1. The thermostat and heater did not work properly. We did not have heat and the room and it was very cold. We did not notice this until Friday night as we had business to conduct and when we got back, it was late to have maintenance come and deal with that issue so we slept through it. The next day, we called and the super came to see what the problem was and acknowledged that there was a problem. After this, he brings up to small space heaters and plugs them in as we were initially told that there weren t any other rooms available. Then the heaters blew the breaker and we lost power in the room. The Super had to come back and reset the breaker for the power.

2. We got downgraded to a smaller room when we paid to have the bigger room. This was an inconvenience on it s own as we had to re-pack and move all of our stuff.

3. The water in room 542 was not consistent and it fluctuated a lot (either too hot or cold). Super came to look into this issue as well.

4. We put the privacy tag on the front door but the room got cleaned anyways. We called about this and they said that it wasn t on the door but when we arrived to our room we saw it on the floor in the hallway in front of our door. The tags do not stay well on the doors and even someone walking by could ve knocked it down. I would assume they would see it on the floor and think this as well as I wouldn t leave the privacy tag in the hallway on the floor.

In the downgraded room, the water in the tub would not drain properly and we were showering in lower shin high water.

All of these issues combined and with the amount of time the engineer came in the room (Super was very helpful though) overall it was a very bad experience and unacceptable at a hotel of this caliber. I am never a complainer and I usually just accept certain things but in this case it was not just one thing, it was a series of multiple dissatisfactions.

We were told to contact the Manager via e-mail and we did this and followed up with him and till this day I have not received a response. Due to these issues, I decided to write a review.

Excellent Service from Afar!! In this time of Covid husband presently working away from home multiple mos staying at the HB. We recently had our 20th anniversary and I wanted to surprise him long distance with a special anniversary dinner. I can not thank the guest services staff enough for all of their wonderful attention helping make this happen. Hotel food services was closed at the time so a member assisted me in locating a nearby upscale restaurant that also offered delivery. NY scenario at this time quite different from other parts of the country with very limited rests open and offering delivery. Husband also works in a hospital without a routine schedule so logistics in making this happen to provide a lovely hot meal took time. Thanks to Sam, Joe and Stephanie in Guest Services front desk (day and eve shifts), and to AZ in Hotel Rest Hospitality for all of the time/efforts you put into this. Your attention in pinpointing the estimated time of his return to the hotel on set day was wonderful (and your ways in getting this info most creative). The special attention provided in the food delivery and set up in his room right down to replacing the plastic take out utensils/paper napkin with upgrades, as well as the added beverage suggestions and personalized dessert was simply over the top! I am unfamiliar if this particular location officially offers Concierge services but this experience I have to say is likely the best we have received to date!!!! I hope soon I will be able to visit your location and thank you all in person expressing my sincere gratitude. Without a doubt you showed that Kindness can be Contagious :)

Visited 3 weeks ago. Told maid to her face not to clean my room (we just got there and things were everywhere). Returned to my room and it was cleaned. When I packed my things the next morning, I was missing my Tiffany's necklace. I had a plane to catch and could not afford to miss it. At the airport I called the front desk and asked for a manager, they eventually hung up on me. I called again, left on hold for over 20 minutes. Called several more times throughout the week. Reached out to a lawyer friend. She recommended contacting headquarters. I was told that there is nothing they can do, and to contact the hotel directly. I emailed with the head of maid services and she basically said, she doesn't care, nothing she can do. I called the Hilton in Brooklyn again and spoke to a security personnel who stated the most they can give me is half of what it's worth, $250 and a check will be sent out. This was June 26th. When I called to ask about the check I was told that their check system has changed and they are learning the system and to expect it by July 15th. I have 23 emails between myself and the Hilton headquarters and Hilton in Brooklyn. Basically, their staff are thieves and the company will do nothing about it.

This is my go to hotel anytime I'm in NYC. I have stayed here 3 times in the last few months and every stay has been perfect. The lobby has a great layout with a great bar and a restaurant in the back. The rooms are very well maintained and large by NYC standards. The location cannot be beat - located in a great Brooklyn neighborhood with an easy commute to midtown.
