Visited 3 weeks ago. Told maid to her face not to clean my room (we just got there and things were everywhere). Returned to my room and it was cleaned. When I packed my things the next morning, I was missing my Tiffany's necklace. I had a plane to catch and could not afford to miss it. At the airport I called the front desk and asked for a manager, they eventually hung up on me. I called again, left on hold for over 20 minutes. Called several more times throughout the week. Reached out to a lawyer friend. She recommended contacting headquarters. I was told that there is nothing they can do, and to contact the hotel directly. I emailed with the head of maid services and she basically said, she doesn't care, nothing she can do. I called the Hilton in Brooklyn again and spoke to a security personnel who stated the most they can give me is half of what it's worth, $250 and a check will be sent out. This was June 26th. When I called to ask about the check I was told that their check system has changed and they are learning the system and to expect it by July 15th. I have 23 emails between myself and the Hilton headquarters and Hilton in Brooklyn. Basically, their staff are thieves and the company will do nothing about it.
