Great location! There was a slight issue with our tub not draining when we first arrived. Friendly and attentive staff had it resolved less than an hour later. They also have a convenient fitness center. FYI, if you are a light sleeper, be aware you are near the criminal court. There will be occasional police car type noise nearby.

Just came back from a 4-night stay at this hotel. Chose the Hilton Brooklyn because it featured large rooms with queen beds and was a short walk to the subway. Overall, we were all pleased with the cleanliness, modern touches, and friendliness of the staff at this hotel. I would definitely consider staying here again!

Great hotel in close proximity to transit, restaurants, shops, Macy s & Brooklyn Bridge Park. Staff is friendly & helpful. New hotel with modern decor and large rooms. You can t find better in Downtown Brooklyn.

I went there for a conference and the service was good the front desk automatically led me the where i was supposed to go, the conference room was smaller than expected but overall clean and tidy place no complaints

We booked our stay oct 13 to 16th for a family wedding. I noted that for this event, the cost of our room was elevated- twice the cost of rooms on any other date. I surmised that the cost was attached to this event only. I regret that we were not better shoppers. We paid 269 for 3 nights instead of the advertised 110. Plus tax a night commonly charged. In addition to this, a 75.00 a night security deposit was held as a debit decreasing my spending power without being advised. This lack of communication caused undue distress for what began as a glorious occasion. I will not return to this hotel in the future.

Staying at the Hilton Brooklyn was a fantastic experience. The staff here are all very nice and attentive, the dining room serves phenomenal food and drinks (my compliments to the chef), and the room itself is large, well stocked, and up to date with all modern amenities. There is free WiFi available for any entertainment needs, and there is even a secured ethernet wallport to accommodate for business without having to find a special business room as with many other hotels (of which I took full advantage for work). Best of all, the price is very fair and much less than I would expect to pay for all of the above amenities in the center of a very busy area of downtown Brooklyn. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to friends and family if they find themselves in Brooklyn for an overnight stay.

Girl at front desk was friendly but when I walked in room it wasnt clean went back down and had to wait 20 minutes for room. When checking out everyone was talking at desk an no one helped me. Not clear where to park.

Really lovely modern, classy design. Very comfortable, and a super helpful staff made it either the enjoyable time. Lack of their own parking was a bit difficult, but hey, it's Brooklyn!

Been in the hotel for one week.
Rooms were always perfect clean and the staff friendly.
Really absolutly nothing to complain.
The price and a few minor things prevented the 5th star

My housekeeper was absolutely amazing. Wish I had the chance to thank him/her in person. The breakfast is decent, but the restaurant isn't that great. The bartendress was a bit dismissive as well.

This review is regarding the poor service of management, not the actual hotel room.

I am a very loyal Hilton customer. I booked a weekend stay at the Brooklyn Hilton several weeks ago. A day and a half before our visit, my wife came down very sick. We contacted the hotel to cancel our reservation. The hotel has a 48 hour cancellation policy. We were outside of the cancellation window. We called the hotel and begged them to allow us to cancel. They refused, they said sickness was not a good enough reason to cancel our room.

The manager we spoke with on the telephone was rude. The manager kept us hold for 15 minute increments. My instinct is that the manager was doing so, in hopes we would hang up. In the end, we were NOT refunded. We were charged the full amount as a cancellation penalty.

Hilton Corporate was helpful, and tried to get us a refund, but the local branch would not respond to corporate's requests. Hilton is not going to lose our business; however, I would HIGHLY recommend that you think carefully before staying at this particular Hilton location, if you have any issues during your stay, I do not think management will be considerate or helpful, their only concern is taking money from your wallet and putting it into their wallet.

Everything was great, except the shower was broken when I tried to take a shower in the morning and that kinda threw a giant wrench into the works! Better oversight and maintenance of things like that would make it 5 stars.

Extremely noisy. Tiny room. You cannot even close curtain all the way due to airconditioner being right underneath of the window. Mediocre service. Just too many guests. I guess that the location apeal to many people. Since Hampton is doing a great business, I am sure that Hampton Brookyn does not care my return. I will never contribute my money on that place again. I

So far this place has been on top of it's Covid-19 cleaning concerns for the public. Sometimes you do get ghetto crowds very few but over all it's a great place,however the food that use to be good needs improvement especially the breakfast I would give them a 4 star but the food aspect has fallen dramatically.

Front desk staff seemed a bit annoyed (possibly from previous guests and or situation), wasn't efficient in accommodating our reasonable needs as Hilton Honors members! We reserved a room and encouraged friends from out of town to book a room as well and we're poorly greeted and informed about our room situation this past Sunday night at the Hilton located in downtown Brooklyn. Front desk female host seemed impartial and also had a slight attitude. We will not be going back to that location and will stick to our normal Grand Central location in midtown Manhattan.

Great service, food, room and location makes it easy to get to places around town. You can have breakfast, lunch or dinner at the hotel. I would recommend this place for others who want to visit Brooklyn, New York.

Just opened 7 weeks ago and is nice, but has some bugs to work out. 3 different rooms in one night. First someone started smoking and it came into our room through the vents. Second room the heater wouldn't blow hot air. Third was mostly good except that heater ran really hot. Noticed other small things like the toilet handle about falling out because whoever installed it forgot to put the retaining nut on the back side. So a lot of little things that need to be sorted out. Many good things though. Place was clean and new. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially with the issues above. Had breakfast in the executive lounge and it was good.

Honestly I never write reviews because I am fairly quite lazy. However, I could NOT leave with a good conscious without leaving a SPECTACULAR review for this branch. As a Hilton Diamond member, it's to be expected to be treated with respect, leniency, etc. However, that's not always the case. It really depends on management. Simply put, I requested to be checked in early (really early) and they accommodated me. I did have to wait awhile though (no lie) but they did the job. They followed through their promise despite my crazy request. Not to mention the entire staff was lovely to me- from Marissa to Paul with their welcoming smiles, knowledge of the city and exuberant energy to Carlos, Jelecia and Zachary for their help in checking me in and finally to Trayvon (bellhop) and Sivad (restaurant host/server) with their gracious hospitality. I will forever return to this hotel. Amazing staff and hotel. All amenities you can possibly have they do. I found my home base!!!!

Nice hotel, great beds and pillows, but the restaurant could be run much better, plus the food is quite oily. Joe (on front desk) is exceptionally pleasant and helpful and it has been a pleasure dealing with him.

This location lives up the Hilton name. With great staff, big rooms, professional services and top notch hospitality. The bar has a wide variety of liquor and wine. The pomegranate martini is delicious. The dinner menu has just enough choices to please any appetite. Love staying here when I come to NYC.

We were very dissatisfied with our recent stay. Our room had been smoked in by a prior guest, though we didn t realize it until after my husband had suffered an allergic reaction. There were bags on the smoke detectors clearly left by the prior guest. We have reason to believe the hotel was aware there may be a smoke smell because they called about an hour after we checked in to see if the room was ok. We reported the bags, but did not otherwise complain because we didn t yet recognize the issue. It was only early in the morning after a long, uncomfortable night that my husband's allergic reaction set in and he complained to the front desk. They said we should have complained earlier if there was an issue and merely issued a breakfast voucher. They claimed because we had booked via HotelTonight that they could not issue a refund. Given our level of discomfort, we felt this was a poor response. I was told the manager would call to follow up on my complaint and she never reached out. For two tired parents of a toddler on a rare night out, this was quite a disappointment and a missed opportunity to catch up on sorely needed sleep.

A lot of noise and construction in the area. Pretty good restaurants around the area. Lots of policy action SD incentives it's across the street from the Brooklyn detention ctr. Pillows need improvement as they felt like bean bags. Hopefully things will improve as its only been open for 2 weeks.

Stayed here last year. Had purchased a bracelet for 600us which was left at the hotel by accident. Called them after leaving the city and they advised they found the bracelet along with a white shirt and shaving blades. Said I would need to pay shipping to Canada to retrieve the items. After paying over 100 dollars for shipping received the shirt and shaving blades with a note in the bag stating items they found such as shaving blade white shirt and bracelet however my bracelet was missing even after stating they found it. Once I contacted them saying my bracelet was not even in the bag and why else would I pay for shipping they advised what was found was found and they can't do much. They said they will follow up to see if it was misplaced but never had any follow ups.
