Large, clean and beautiful room. Good service and very nice treatment
The Hotel has a great and very friendly manager, housekeeping really needs work but overall I would recommend staying there
I had a wonderful stay. I love the Hilton chain. The room was exceptional and the service was great. The lobby had a great bar and the bar was very lively.
Nice newer hotel with classic decor. I like the dark wood finishes throughout the hotel, from the lobby, the restaurant, and hallways.
Nice place. Restroom vent not working, smelled very damp
Great service and nice rooms, but -1 star for terrible heating system.
Attended a brunch/seminar here and although I didn't get a chance to snap pics of the food, it was great. Typical hotel breakfast but good nonetheless and lots of options. Station for the unlimited mimosas/bellinis/water/apple juice was cool. Loved the whole Brooklyn decor in such a cute and intimate space. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Might try to return and stay at the hotel one day and review the rooms as a guest.
Clean room. Nice staff. Breakfast is pretty good spread. Nice place to stay if visiting Brooklyn heights
DO NOT go to this Hilton. I went there 6/18/2018 and found a BED BUG in my bed. I reported it and it took 2 phone calls and 30 minutes for them to come to my room, and when I checked out the front desk didn t even apologize for what I went thru. I literally kept the bug to show them and everything. New York can have a reputation for bed bugs, but based on my experience, go to Marriott without a doubt. At least their customer service will rectify the situation, seeing as I m now going home and worried about an infestation.
Relaxing stay... I'd stay for a month if i did not have to pay rent elsewhere...
Great place centrally located in Brooklyn downtown. Pricey but worth it.
The hotel is really good, clean, great location. Good water pressure, ample bathroom, good lighting in the bathroom. Comfortable bed.
The restaurant isn t that good, but then, hotel restaurants usually aren t good. There s a coffee shop just adjacent to the hotel that s really good.
I sincerely recommend this hotel.
The Hilton was a great experience. Good lobby atmosphere, great rooms, everything looks new (nice bathrooms, integrated Netflix on the TV). Front desk associates were all pleasant and even lent an umbrella to my wife and I in the rain.
They have something called Urban Fee that is 25 per night. Seems like a racist tax to me.
A gem in an otherwise not great area... This is how a true Hilton should be run. It was recently refurbished and updated, and the overall property is very clean and in great shape. The rooms are a bit compact, but are decorated well. Plenty of accessible plugs and a good bed. The workout room is a bit small for the number of rooms in the hotel, but all of the equipment is in good working order and was clean. They do care about their Diamond guests, and the lounge and breakfast they serve is top notch. Their employees made all the difference, with the front desk staff that seemed to genuinely care about their jobs and doing all they could to ensure my needs were met. Hilton should use this property as the highest standard that all of their franchisees should aspire to. I know I would choose Hilton a lot more if all of their properties met the standard this location sets.
Friendly staff and nice, clean rooms - great location.
Clean nice room and close to Barclays. Got the room through Chase rewards and was upgraded to a n executive suite. Friendly staff, breakfast was a bit weak but the lounge was pretty cozy.
Surprisingly chic hotel in Brooklyn. While the rooms aren't huge, the finishings are brand new. The staff is extremely friendly.
Great Staff , very clean and spacious rooms . I would definitely recommend!
Great service at the front desk. Will be back to this location.
Great hotel, beautiful rooms, the decor is amazing and so roomy! Highly recommend this location for a fun stay!
Very clean hotel. Great people at the front counter. They provided a cold bottle of water at the front counter after hearing about our long flight. We will definitely stay there in the future!
This is a very nice hotel in good location, however has staff issues. We stayed in this place with bed and breakfast rate. The restaurant was offering great breakfast, however the staff were very rude and all waiting for you to put your fork down to bring you the check and rushing you to leave. In one occasion they dropped a fork on my daughter lap ...very unprofessional waiters and rude. It is unfortunate for Hilton
Room were spacious and smell great!
Service was poor. decor is nice. My entire reservation was messed up though I kept in contact with the sales manager for 10 months re-confirming the itinerary
Modern facility with very helpful/friendly staff. Solid morning breakfast and great hotel bar. I'll stay here again.
walls were a little thin. I could hear the neighbors tv late at night
Beautiful stay no issues staff was excellent would stay at this hotel again
A great hotel with nice service and a good breakfast.
Our room was big enough for five, we felt very comfortable.
Shops and restaurants as well as underground stations are around the corner.
Room was OK - little small and could do with a small couch instead of a chair. Breakfast was a farce but very nice servers. They just seemed overworked.
Great staff. Beautiful room. Well stocked executive lounge.
Over priced and rude staff who will have overly abrasive sesecurity knock on your door for "speaking to loudly" while in your paid over priced room.
Great Hotel. The location is in the heart of everything and you will have to park around the corner at the partnering lot for $30 a night. The restaurant was great and the bartender Taury is excellent. The rooms were extremely clean and very quiet. Would stay here again!!
Good hotel but expensive for what it is. Breakfast wasn't great, but room was comfortable and it's close to interesting areas.
Stay here for four nights fabulous, Great service great food, Great hotel!
Beautiful and unexpected in this part of down. Feels like it should be in Midtown or the financial district. It's new and clean
Excellent location and service, with kind staff. I felt safe and well rested.
Friendly staff, affordable rates and great room, food and drink. Easily accessible via train or bus and only a quick trip over the bridge to Manhattan. Would recommend
Besides personell not very helpful once booked out, I have to say, that the rooms are clean, modern and spaceous. Breakfast is solid to good.
Great location in Brooklyn, pretty close to DUMBO and Barclays. The room was clean, spacious, and had a great view. However, I had booked a room on the executive floor and was given a deluxe king room (not an executive room, not on executive floor). Once I realized their mistake, they told me that I had booked a regular king and they did me a favor by upgrading me to a deluxe king room. Once I showed them my receipt, the story changed. I was then told that they had overbooked the executive floor, so had to put me in a different room, but the one I had is bigger and better. It may have been bigger, I don't know, but it was certainly missing many of the key features that I paid for by booking an executive room. I was told nothing could be done and no refund for the difference between the two rooms could be made because I prepaid for the room. I had to call Hilton corporate and file a complaint. After hotel management told corporate that the room I had received was more expensive, I decided I needed to call and talk to this manager myself. He admitted to me that they messed it up and were in the wrong, but still would not refund the difference of the two rooms. Instead, he said he would give me some Hilton Honors points (yippee?). Customer service here was absolutely atrocious and corporate would not help whatsoever. I've been a loyal Hilton Honors member for many years, but now I'm making the switch to Marriott.
*This was not about the money, it was about the principle. They accepted my money for a room that they then sold to someone else, then gave me a worse room and told me it was upgrade. I just don't stand for this kind of customer service.
The location is convenient for travel. Ithe regular room was smallish but very clean and comfortable. The Suites are much nicer with a separate bedroom and living room but if you're going for a short stay the standard room is more than enough, if it's more than a week or you just want to be able to invite a few people over for drinks and want some extra space...get the suite. Bathroom are nice and clean the 24h hotel market downstairs is a bit expensive considering you are walking distance to several drug stores. Beds and sheets are comfortable and AC/Heating worked perfectly. Staff was friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend and stay again.
The staff was extremely friendly and accommodated all of my needs.
Staff were wonderful. One of the best hotel at this location. Bar section was well organised and beautiful. Architecture was beautiful. I liked the decor. Great atmosphere. I liked the view from my window of room . I enjoyed the spa. Very facility was provided. Services was amazing.
Pleasant new hotel close to Brooklyn's downtown. Your basic Hilton rooms, but spacious by NYC standards. Clean. Pleasant staff. I would stay there again.
Good location for work in/around Metrotech. Clean rooms and helpful staff.
Stayed for one night in November of 2020. This Hilton is in downtown Brooklyn 1 block from the Hoyt-Schermerhorn subway station. There are several shopping streets nearby, with plenty of restaurants in the vicinity as well.
Room size was decent and had all the expected amenities. I did not notice any issues with sanitation- it was visibly spotless. My feeling is that the number of guests was abysmally low. There might have been only 1 or 2 other occupied rooms on my floor. This made for a quiet night of sleep which I savored.
I have literally no idea what the desk staff told me when I checked in about a $25 meal voucher. My impression was that they were charging me $25 to eat in the hotel restaurant regardless of if I actually ordered food there or not. However, my credit card bill reflected the amount I intended to pay with no evidence of the extra $25 charge? So I'm not sure what the staff told me after all.
I am honestly writing this review to bring awareness to the injust the folks go through working at spaces like this one. Just did a gig here through the food app Pared. I arrived at 6:30 am and asked to see Chef Antonio (which the app stated for me to do.) I was told he was not there and to go downstairs, where a staff member will direct me to the locker room. I followed instructions, where I asked a staff member to do so and was immediately barked on disrespectfully. I stated no need to be rude, I clearly do not know since I do not work here. Nevertheless, I worked hard with a smile amd great attitude. Around 9:30 am, a frantic employee whispered to me my manager wants to speak to you. Okay, I said and followed. The manager gave us duties to do, which was not at all stated in the app as our job title for the day. However, I agreed to do it. Then, he glared at me up and down and had the audacity to ask if I was allowed to work with those COLORED nails. I asked politely what was wrong with my nails, especially since I seen staff with nails on!! He said the rules were stated in the app. I told him the app did state a uniform policy which my nails were not apart of the rules given. I also told him I work in restaurant management as well so I know how to handle myself with nails but if I am putting you in an awkward position, I don't mind working out of view of guests or leaving. Especially since I am a staffer for the app, I do not know company policy. He then further proceeded to say I am getting defensive and aggressive, which I was not. I am a black woman and he is a White man, so I took a lot of offense to this. Especially, after I told him I felt like I am getting picked on and explained what happened earlier in the morning. He told me he does not care and why am I talking about what happened earlier and interrupting what he is saying now. I also explained I am a floor manager at Champs Diner. I gave him perspective of how his delivery is not beneficial to flow service and he dismissed me . i felt insulted and discriminated against. NOT EVERY BLACK PERSON IS ANGRY. STOP CALLING US THAT. ITS DISHEARTENING. I complained on pared but this for folks who see support staff working hard or to the management that do not appreciate them. People like me make the culture of food and service especially in Brooklyn. Tip your server and do not treat staff like slaves. We are people with feelings. Stay and dine here. Just know upper management is biased bigots.
Clean and large rooms with very cozy beds. Conveniently located near public transportation.
Great location if you re looking for a place near the Barclays Center. The room was very nice. The hotel lobby and bar was good. Walking distance to shops and bars etc. The staff was friendly. The price gave good bang for our buck. I would certainly stay here again!
The hotel was in a good area and I was very surprised at how attentive the staff were. The rooms were well kept, the showers were clean and the bell man Khalik had an amazing humor that made the hotel stay extremely welcoming. I definitely recommended and will return on another business trip.
Very clean, bigger room than expected given the location. Food is good, staff extremely helpful and friendly.
