Hilton ?.... Really???

Hilton ?.... Really???
the one thing you do get is good staff, and the staff here were excellent. but in places this is a very old and dated hotel, we had 421 and as US stds go the room was both quite small, we had a balcony with a partial sea view, shame the air con units on the roof below us were so loud that you could not sit outside and enjoy the view

The room was kind of small for two beds, a desk, chair and ottoman. I now have bruises from hitting my shins on the platform bed and also on the ottoman. Other than that, the view was nice, the hotel was clean, and id stay again.

I will NEVER COME HERE AGAIN ! First off I was looking for a place that had a hot tub, when I called they confirmed they did have one...LIED! Then didnt give me the correct room I wanted, then when I got back home they sent me an email for more charges to my debit card.. I didnt make! Turns out somebody had my last name and room # ..charged exsisve amounts of purchases from this bar and grill out by the pool! Over $300 dollars worth! The Sunday it happen I was up in my room all day sicker then a dog with food poisoning! This person forged my last name and put some initials down which I'm sure were bogus! They are giving me the mad run around about refunding my money and have yet to even call me to resolve this issue. It's been a week and haven't heard anything, called there a few times and excuse after excuse and ( we will call u back)! This is the worst place I've ever been too...not to mention some of the staff is very unpleasant and cannot speak very good English so it's hard to even understand them. I hope this doesn't happen To anybody else, kinda crazy that people could stand by while somebody checks in and get their last name and room # then just go to the tiki hut and grill and start charging their purchases to this person and their room! Not to mention they have a dozen security cameras all over the place that u will not see me on while all these purchases were made because I was up in my room the whole day till the next morning when I checked out being sick!

Location is perfect, right on a beautiful private beach and walking distance to many great bars and restaurants. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped, ask for a view if possible. Service at front desk and hotel bar was efficient but not friendly.

Clowns! We paid $125 to rent a stupid bed/cabana on the beach from these idiots. An hour later I had a couple of yahoo s approach me and tell me I wasn t allowed to have any drinks that weren t purchased from them on their property . The douchbag that was driving the utv refereed to everyone as chap ...I waited for these clowns to drive away and obviously cracked open the beer that I brought. I needed to use the bathrooms I i went into the lobby ( unbeknownst to the Hilton) and it was plastered in human feces all over the place. Wouldn t recommend my worst enemy to this place. If you value your money and your children s safety stay away.

We were planning a conference for about 100 people, checking out the options. The event planner was very good at providing detailed breakouts for costs and amenities. This hotel is a bit too crowded for me though. Close to shopping but also close to noise.

I wish I could post a photo with my review. I booked over three months in advance. I don't get the opportunity to get away with just my husband and no children very often so *EVERY* time we come to the beach we get the best possible view. Why come at all if you can't wake up to a view of white sandy beaches and waves from your bed!? For me, that's the best part! So I purchased 5 nights in the most expensive room available. The title said "The Coast Room King" description said gulf views - what they really meant was "giant HVAC unit and smoking kitchen pipes on a roof that is literally connected to the building and only one floor below you (we were on the 5th floor) and another big rise directly across from you and reeeeaaaaaalllllly far away to the far left you get a glance of coast. Add to that horrible and pricey room service (they got my order wrong both times and pre-tip themselves) - construction nearby was so loud that there was a constant beeping that continued from sunrise to sunset the entire time. (Think alarm clock going off non stop in the next room) - walls were thin, doors slammed loudly, you could hear everything - dogs barking at 5am, kids screaming, drunk people laughing, only about 20 TV channels - I could go on and on point is - don't waste your money! I asked immediately to change rooms and was denied. Horrible. Not what I'm used to from Hilton. The only reason they got 2 stars instead of one is because it was pretty clean.

Nice

Love the amenities and how everything is so clean, especially the pool! Loved the shower and updated bathroom, the comfy pillows and matress made for a great night sleep. The balcony is a great feature and we had partial views of the marina as.well as the ocean!

Basically a good Hotel. But there are some Points, that doesnt match a Hilton Hotel. For example: Eating Dinner and ordering a water, you will get only a plastic bottle of water, you have to order a glas seperatly. The stuff that cleans the room, nearly cannot speak English. The AC flootet our balcony. The water temperature in the shower changed all the time... The stuff at the front desk was helpfully.
The parking is 10$ a day, or a can beer at the pool costs 5$!
Otherwise, the beach is perfect. The pools are heated and clean. The stuff at the pool really great. The food in the hotel restaurant was great.

Absolute perfect location, perfectly secluded and amazing private beach area, complete with tiki bar. Room was spotless and had an amazing view. Only negative was all you could hear on balcony was the giant AC, so no ocean noise. Bed was incredibly comfortable.

There is mold/mildew in our shower, the towel bar is broken (maintenance removed it and never came back). The carpet in our room was wet upon arrival and 2 days later it s still wet.
The elevators are slow and 1 of the 3 doesn t even work. The front desk staff lacks personality and customer service. This hotel isn t worth the price we are paying. Highly disappointed and would NEVER recommend it.

Absolutely terrible. Wasn't even a hilton hotel was more of a construction site with power tools going all day. Wi-Fi didn't work neither did most of the channels on the tv. When I checked out they tried to overcharge me $211. Disgusted with the service and lack of responsibility. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

If location is the best in Clearwater beach with playground, the beach, the boardwalk shops and restaurants just steps from the hotel. The service is moderate and varea, but apart from that and the aforementioned, as a Hilton does not seem. The hotel does not offer many food options, the only restaurant inside is outrageously expensive and not of quality. The rooms have the facade of old and you will notice several things broken like carpet or broken, in my case the phone did not work. The pool is small and the service there is not very good. What you pay for in this hotel is basically because of the location and the name and not for being a nice or luxury Hilton resort.

Good hotel but it may be better to enable game rooms such as billiards or pin the summer sun there are times that requires being indoors and it would be a good time for these activities nothing to make it even better because it is very good but you always have to pretend to be best

Attended a wedding at the Hilton Clearwater Beach. The wedding was held on the beach and the reception at one of the decks adhacent. The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was very well handled by Hilton staff. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Disappointed from the rooms to the poor beach view everything cost money here nothing is included except a towel card. Paid $1300 for 3 nights for a gulf view room that was dirty when we arrived, the view was from the 6th floor overlooks more of the beautiful scenic ventilation system of the roof below. The room is very bland, bathroom is tight, the shower door would not stay closed just kept rolling open when u try to shut it. They will get every penny from you here, want to rent 2 chairs on the beach no problem $50. Free breakfast? Don t think so $25 a person for a mediocre hotel buffet with less then mediocre service, had to get up and ask for coffee and condiments 2 separate times. Better of just going to one of the local places. I will say the location is nice it s near everything.

I like Hiltons in general and specially having breakfast at this place because it has the right selection of food the only thing that bothers me is management been unfriendly and anxious about me paying the bill even though I am a regular, they treat me almost like they wish I didn't visit.

I had an amazing experience from making my reservations to the people I encountered during my stay the staff at the pool were working hard to ensure everyone was attended to. The manager z who took my reservation took the time to explain everything to me and helped me tremendously. The room was very clean and I felt comfortable. Thank you Hilton team. !!!!

This location was amazing. Right on the beach, valet parking included, beautiful views, walking distance to great food, shopping, & night life. Entire staff was great!! Definitely my weekend getaway spot.

I stayed at the Hotel for 4 days in May and when I left they told me I did not owe anything and when I arrived in Uruguay, they deducted 200 dollars from the credit card that I had presented at check in and that they asked me as collateral and when consulting through my Travel agent was told that it was a tax for use of the pool and towels. Do not show any cards that kill them later.-.

Too many people, it was like a shopping mall in the middle of the holidays season. Beach was across the street and public. The hotel is new and very nice, but what I state above made it impossible to bare, so I left the day after I arrived.

The staff was great, but the add-on fees, charge for parking, small rooms, fake beach, etc. make this less than perfect and poor value.

Don t trust claims that you have oceanfront. There are no oceanfront/oceanview rooms- the best you can get is a partial view of the north and south of the beach, even in the suites.

Don t trust claims that this is the best beach in America. It s fake. I d guess even the sand is brought in. The beach is raked each morning for algae and dead things, so there are no seashells. There was a heavy algae bloom in the ocean while we were there. The color of the ocean is dark green and unhealthy. Probably fertilizer runoff from golf courses.

Don t believe anyone that says this is a normal town. The Scientologist have taken over Clearwater and bought most property. They won t pay taxes for basic infrastructure and claim to be religious. They won t let outsiders use their resources.

SUGGESTIONS- Please fix the outdoor cleanse shower by the pool. Please have coffee in the lobby and not just the restaurant. Please be more environmental. I did not see any water bottle refill stations. I did not see recycle containers in rooms or the breakfast area. I have not seen any sign of active recycling programs. Where is the solar water heater for the pool and hotel? Why aren t there instructions to reduce waste, and reuse towels? Why are the soaps, amenities and breakfast item packed in disposable wasteful packaging?

Well we stayed, this past week. I will say the staff is great and rooms are clean. I would like to say the beds are super tiny ,a tad bit bigger than a twin also , we had two dogs barking in the room next to us which was a inconvenience for the price .Also our bathroom door was broken . I would say we are Hilton members but I was expecting more.

Location is great! The hotel has great beach services such as umbrella and chair rentals. There is tons of fun things like jet ski and parasailing right next to the hotel. The rooms are small but have everything a person or family would need and guest service is pretty good. Also just a hop and a skip away from a 24hr wallgreens that has everything you would need like sunscreen to sushi. Overall good experience; good hotel at a great location!

The location of this hotel is great. It's in the center of everything and restaurants, CVS, and activities are within walking distance. The beach is directly behind the hotel, which is great. Stayed during the week and the beach wasn't too crowded. The only downside is that hotel charges a $25 dollar a day resort fee... which only includes free towel rentals, bike rental, free beach shoot with one print and 10% discounts at Bouyah water sports behind the hotel. You can kayak or paddle board for free from 9am-10am though if you are interested in that (we found out on our last day.) I guess my only complaint is that with a resort fee, you would think they would provide free breakfast buffet... luckily we didn't have a car which would have been I think $20 a day.

Just be careful with your bill

I was charged over $100
