Nice hotel on the beach. Seems to be more of a money grabber hotel. $25 a day for valet parking. Was more of a hassle then a convenience. Drinks at the hotel bar was outrageously high. Rooms are very small but clean. Staff was nice and always treated us well. Views from the balcony was awesome. But loud as they had construction going on and all you hear is equipment running. Beach is beautiful. Alot of stuff within walking distance of the hotel.

We had a great time at this hotel. Friendly staff, great water pressure, easy access to the beach and pool. Morning yoga is fabulous. It is close to many local restaurants and shopping. The cabana staff is exceptional as well. Mark is wonderful out there! This is not our first visit and won't be our last.
Very good front desk and staff in general. The unbeatable location. The newly remodeled pool excellent. The beds a little small, a lot of noise from the general air conditioners even on the 6th floor, very cold in the corridors. Breakfast included would be good. The atmosphere in general is very nice relaxed and taken care of.
Tips- Avoid the 9th floor (top floor) if you want to enjoy the view sitting on the balcony. It has a cement barrier, where the lower floors have rails you can see through. The 9th floor balcony barrier also retains the heat of the AC unit so ends up being much warmer too.
The $24 parking fee is whether you valet or self park, each day. This is in addition to the resort fee.
Resort fees are waived if you pay completely with points, parking fee is not.
The bouyah booth will give you a kayak or paddle board rental between 9-10am for free as part of your hotel stay. It was fun.
You have to stop by the outdoor desk to check out towels for the pool, then return them in order to not get charged.
Drinks from all the locations on site and the spotted donkey are expensive and light on liquor. Go across the street or down to frenchies to get something decent for a lot less.
They double park in the front lot overnight when it s full, be aware.
Pier 60 is right next to the hotel and pretty neat with a playground for kids, along with some nice views from the pier.
The hotel has a private beach space, it was packed on the pier side so this was nice, especially during COVID.
They do seem to maintain the exterior and interior quite well, especially considering the proximity to the salt and sea. I was impressed by that.
The pool area has two pools, including a smaller 1-3 ft pool for the kiddos to play in, it was nice. Watch for ants near the palm trees inside the pool area, no fun.
Staff all were pleasant and said hello and were helpful.
Our room refrigerator looked like a dirty dumpster and was warm.
Overall, our first visit to Clearwater was alright and now that I ve been there, I d definitely look for somewhere else to stay in the future just to avoid paying all the extra fees.
Despite the bad weather experience at the hotel itself has been great. All of the employees are friendly and the hotel is in the perfect location on the beach.
Interior is very modern w/ clean rooms and lots of activities (of course the cost is included as a daily resort fee). Outside looks like a remodeled Motel 6
The staff is so friendly and helpful. The hotel went above and beyond for our family and even called twice to see how our trip was going. The restaurants and concierge Michelle were exceptional! Clean and perfect location to beach and activities.
We stayed for two nights and there was no problem. I was just not much impressed by Clearwater beach area though I really enjoyed the dolphin watching with the little toot. We saw some and it was super fun! For decent foods, go outside of the Clearwater area. There are more options.
I didn't stay overnight in this resort. My uncle from Texas stayed here and our whole family came up to visit. This beach resort is beautiful. The location is great. There's a Starbucks downstairs and there's a strip across the streets of shops and restaurants. Everything is walking distance. Parking is not bad. There is street parking with meters or the hotel has valet parking. I cannot comment on the service since we did not stay there, but the room they were in was a tad on the small size, but the beds and pillows seem very comfy. The room was very clean. They had a balcony with a great view. The balcony was the best part of the room! The bathroom is also on the smaller side, but still had a modern design. The showerhead was great! Water temperature went from cold to hot quick (I know that's an issue in a lot of hotels). And I loved the beach..white sands, the Pier, and what looked like a huge slide /bouncy playhouse for kids/teens. I would recommend it.
Chair/Cabana rental is a joke. They set you up too far from the water then non-renters set up cheap umbrellas/coolers. Trashy attire and music allowed through out resort member area Ridiculous. I never return or recommend
Expections were not met after paying over 250 per night. This does not include the daily resort fee that you are charged that only really includes 2 bottle of water a day The rooms were clean. Bathroom was only big enough for one person and very dark. Not enough pool chairs. Had to be put on a waiting list to get into the pool. They don't provide any beach chairs. You can pay $20 pp for the day. The free water sports that is included in the resort fee you paid, is only from 9-10 am for every one staying at the hotel. The food is average and way over priced. Maybe I set my expectations too high. But for the price I paid, i expected a resort experience and I did not get that at all.
They charged me 500 for a room that was not what I oredered they brought Me a blow mattress instead of having my 2 beds I had rooms for 40$ better tgan this
I would give 5 stars BUT this hotel most definitely needs quite a few upgrades! It doesn t look like it has been renovated in 2017 IF that s accurate at all. The location is undoubtedly great and the front desk manager Ekatrina is an asset for the hotel. Very kind n courteous. In fact the entire front desk staff was a delight to interact with. Besides this, quite some work needs to be done at the property. The bathroom doors are so very hard to slide open or close! The adjoining room doors were incredibly dusty n moldy, the carpet inside the rooms needs a steam clean atleast, if not a change and the rooms need to be repainted to get rid of the black dots/spots on the ceiling and the damp smell. We had to change our room twice (Ekatrina was so very empathetic about our situation-5 stars for the service she provided) so - incredible staff, great service but hotel needs improvement.
Nice, clean. Perfect location to the pier, movies in the park, live music, bars and beach eateries. Rooms appear to have gotten some new upgrades -- new bathroom tile and shower doors, very soft beds, big flat screen Tv's. One little quirk that was odd and annoying, since we had kids with us -- no lock on the sliding bathroom door!?
Great host hotel for a conference! Everything was easy to get to at the hotel due to separate elevators placed correctly for convenience. Room service was amazing. Loved the pool!! Nice having one side set up for families & the bar on the other end for those who wanted to have a drink. Also playing great music! Hotel is nice short walking distance to beach, shopping and restuarants. Loved the sand art that was being built while we were there. Wish I could have seen the finished structure!! :)
Overall was a good experience. Here are some tips if you want to stay here... The Gulf view option is misleading unless you get a top floor. We got the third floor and experienced a beautiful view of the parking lot. Beach amenities are not included in the resort fees so you would have to pay extra for chairs and umbrellas, If going to the pool make sure you get there early because we were put on a 3 page waiting list (During COVID 07/18/2020). Not trying to rag on the hotel, I m just sharing this to save somebody else the headache that I had. I would definitely go back but under different conditions. Big thank you to the girls upfront for understanding our situation and accommodating to them.
Worst Hilton I ve ever stayed at. They treat diamond members no different. Couldn t give me late checkout, didn t lock my car in valet, toilet leaks, guest services can t help on anything. This place is a motel 8 at best. Don t pay their inflated prices. Not worth it. Stay anywhere else.
Two reasons for not giving this place 5 stars: Small rooms and LOTS of noise from the clubs and traffic outside.
$300 per night would be OK for an upscale room, but the one we had, a "Gulf View double" was really just a nicely appointed Best Western or Holiday Inn style room. Really nothing memorable about the room and it feels like a ripoff had the rest of the facility not been as nice. Our room did have an OK balcony with a great view overlooking the Clearwater strip/roundabout, the Pier 60 park, hotel pool, and Gulf.
The rest of the facility, however, was beautiful. Private beach with tiki bar, good restaurants, Starbucks, nice pool and poolside bar. Easy walk to shopping and night life.
The thrum of Clearwater night life outside can be heard and felt until 2am - so if you party, great. If you are wanting sleep, good luck.
Be aware there is only valet parking and a "resort" fee that will cost $25 and $20 each per day. The fee does not cover beach canopies, loungers, or umbrellas - those are $60+. But you can check out a towel. The dining is great, but very expensive. In fact everything is expensive here, so don't be shocked when you check out.
Image of the private beach from the main level restaurant.
perfect location, clean rooms. Book it on right lobby, cheaper than Booking and etc. But was surprised by additional charge $25. Overnight parking is $25.
Beachfront which is nice but it is on a very loud strip and I would not recommend if you are trying to have a quiet weekend or have kids. Cars blared music all day driving by and bars are open until 3am blaring music. Tiki bar and beachfront was nice, but I would not stay again.
Exquisite! Excellent friendly service from the entering the parking lot to check-out. The rooms are so modernly decorated with quality and state of the art accessories. If I hadn't had a desire to get out and slay the area (beach/shopping/playing), I could have stayed in the room the whole time.
Hotel itself was meh for the cost/location. Rooms were ok. The bathroom doors slide shut on a track, ours was incredibly hard to open and close and left large gaps so privacy can be an issue. The heated pool was nice, no hot tub. Beach chairs, umbrellas, ect have to be rented daily and aren t cheap.
The staff was what made the difference. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Particularly David from Texas and Michelle from FL.
Love this hotel. Perfect location, service is great and managers are very accommodating. I enjoyed my weekend stay here that they made extra special. Talk about the view from our room. Wow. Would definitely recommend, close to everything.
They charge you a resort fee along with a parking fee per day which is kind of ridiculous. A lot of other hotels will give you free parking. The whole building feels like it's just a nice coat of paint on a really old building. Rooms are nice and clean though.
We stayed for the weekend and while the location is great the hotel is dated. We had a gulf view room but since it was on the 3rd floor we couldn t see the water. The room was a standard size but was clean. We had the continental breakfast included as a gold member but it was certainly worth the $4 up charge to have the full breakfast.
Biggest downside is you have to rent chairs on the beach. Very tacky considering they charge a $25 resort fee which really gives you nothing.
Hotel is nice and clean. Only problem is the breakfast is not free for diamond members. $4 extra? Really? This seems to be normal for the Florida Hilton chains ....regional manager should be fired.
Nice hotel on the beach! Also, the food here is good. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that there is no full-length mirror in the room. This is the first hotel I've stayed at that doesn't have a full-length mirror in the room. I even spent a good 5 minutes searching for one because I couldn't believe there wasn't one. I am staying here for a conference, and I asked a few of my colleagues about it, and they too said they were surprised to not find a full-length mirror in their rooms. I'm not trying to sound vain, but I like to be able to be able take a quick glance before I walk out to make sure I don't have a zipper unzipped or a skirt tucked into someplace it shouldn't be. I bet these rooms were decorated by a man.
Beach was beautiful and view from the room amazing. Pool was nice but did not like having to wait in line at 7 am to get a chair. Rooms were very outdated. Beds were horrible along with the pillows. They charge a parking fee daily while also allowing the public to park there for $10/hour to use the beach. Resort fee is pricey and WiFi (which is included in that fee) is sketchy at best. Fee to rent chairs/cabanas on the beach was very pricey. Only some of the elevators were functioning which always made for a long wait. Very congested and touristy area.
It seems that they forget that attention and cleanliness should be paramount .... Hilton has forgotten those qualities ....... They could be more efficient and attentive ... the rooms are not properly cleaned and the service leaves a lot to do to wish
If anyone is trying to find good deals for hotels and resorts go over to . booked a resort on there and these guys had the best prices any where!
We had such a lovely weekend getaway here. The beach was perfect, sunsets gorgeous, hotel is beautiful and clean. There is a fun tiki bar down on the beach and water sports available.
Location. Staff. Cleanliness. Everything was absolutely wonderful!! I did not have enough time to enjoy everything. The room was very comfortable. The bed, pillows and linen were so comfortable. I asked for a room upgrade and late check out and they delivered. The parking is iffy- I got there late on a Saturday and there was no parking. I had no choice but to utilize valet parking but, thankfully Hilton did not make me pay for it. This resort is wonderful. I will definitely be going back.
Room was comfortable and hotel overall was excellent! Walking distance to several great restaurants, entertainment and pier 60! Only drawback was no hot tub. Sounds minimal, but would have enjoyed experience more. Especially at the hotel price point!
We had an excellent stay. Everything you need at an affordable price with the beach just steps out the door. Great pool area as well. Restaurant food is pricey and portions are small for the cost. Food is average at best.
The hospitality at the Hilton was okay. The bell service and valet were very helpful. The rooms where clean, but nothing special at all. The doors were jammed and you had to slam the door with your hip to open. The showers water pressure was awful. All rooms have a side view of the ocean unless you are one of the few to get a full ocean view. We booked our stay a few months in advance and requested adjoining rooms which they weren't able to accommodate for us, but were at least able to put us in side by side rooms. Of all the rooms you think they would be able to work it out so two rooms could be adjoined. The resort is on the beach and does have a great tiki bar which also serves food and has live music in the evening. The food and drinks were good. The beach was nice and of course you had to pay for the chairs and umbrellas which is worth it, but when you pay the resort fee you think it might be included. The service overall wasn't what we would expect considering all of the additional resort fees that are not included in the room charge. The overall experience was okay. The hospitality was lacking in the front desk and other areas, but the valet, live music by the tiki bar and the tiki bar itself was redeeming.
I booked this hotel because it s right on the beach close to restaurants, bars, and coffee shops so it s convenient to everything walking distance! The only problem I had here was in my room #304 the shower didn t have hot water and the tub couldn t drain! Just know if you guys stay here it s a hotel fee of $25 per night...They do have valet parking or you can self park! My room had a balcony and was facing the pool and beach so that was nice and it was clean, had free WiFi, cold ac, complimentary water/coffee! Lobby was confusing to find at first since it was under construction you have to take the elevators up to get to the lobby....This wasn t one of the best Hilton I ve stayed at!
Getting to the hotel was the worst part. Traffic was backed up quite a ways. However, our worries melted away as we pulled into the lot. The gentleman at the gate assisted us into the lot. There was ample parking available and I feel it was a secured location. The gentlemen directed us to the lobby and bar area where we were directed to our event. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
DO NOT STAY HERE, THEIR EMPLOYEE ENTERED MY ROOM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT MAKING ADVANCES TOWARDS ME. I was in complete and utter disbelief!
I booked a 4 night stay with the Hilton Clearwater Beach location and to say the least, i left disrespected, disregarded and traumatized by a male front desk employee.
My fiance and myself planned a vacation to stay at this hotel. We got in an argument after traveling all day and sleep deprived. I decided it would be best if i got my own room. I went down to the front desk and got my own room knowing we just needed some space and everything would be fine in the morning.
The man at the front desk was "eyeing" me up to the point my fiance was concerned, but didn't think too hard about it. Around 3 am i heard a knock at my door and it was the man from the front desk. After i didn't answer, HE ENTERED MY ROOM! He was literally standing in my room, #646 (i believe)! making sexual advances at me. I was absolutely SHOCKED. When my fiance and i brought this to managements attention, they had the nerve to ask us to leave, which was fine because i was scared to ever come in contact with this attacker again. After one of their employees do this, they ask us to leave?! Then they wouldn't give us our money back for the following 3 nights PLUS they wouldn't give me back my property that i left in the hotel room! What i found very interesting was the room that he put me in had no surveillance near it and after the fact, i noticed how poorly the doors actually close on their own meaning that my door very well could have been ajar for him to push open.
We are so incredibly disappointed by the Hilton's unprofessional behavior. My concern besides myself is how many other women this has happened to or will happen to. The Hilton has done nothing but deny deny deny. They have even denied that a male that i described works there! They are a huge company though- we all know how bad it would be if they admitted it.
My advice, DO NOT STAY HERE! There are so many great hotels in that area, don't give these types of people your business.
I can t say enough good things about this hotel. From the front desk to the servers. They all have been very pleasant. I will only stay in a Hilton from now on!
