The accommodations were very nice. The location was ideas for the 504 Divas (30) Traveling group who decided to take a girl's trip to Chi Town. The location was perfect for the Taste of Chicago, the Hop on hop off transit, and my list can go on and on.

When you walk in, you're greeted with a beautiful lobby. We checked in online and went with the mobile phone electronic key. That failed so we opted for the key card (so much for technology). The room was on the 22nd floor with required key access. Felt exclusive with that. There's a beautiful pool, two hour tubs and a nice gym. It's centrally located to everything! It was a pleasure staying here.

Came here for a professional conference, what a beautiful facility. Great staff , board rooms top notch and updated . Didn't stay overnight though, so hotel side I didn't get to see. Would return.

Was disappointed with my two night stay at the Hilton Chicago. When we first arrived, I had to immediately call housekeeping. Our sheets were incredibly dirty with dark stains which was not the first thing you want to see arriving at your hotel. After waiting about an hour for housekeeping to arrive I decided to brew some coffee. The coffee machine didn't work. There was no over head light in the room, only 4 lamps. One of the 4 didn't work. There was a mini fridge which was nice, except It wasn't cold at all. The next day i wanted to reheat my leftovers. I was directed to the microwave. The hotel was huge. And in the entire place i was told there was only one microwave... which was out of service. The room and bathroom were smaller than expected. Some might say these things don't matter and not to be upset over them, but when you're paying X amount of dollars for a get away and are hoping for a nice place, the little inconveniences begin to get very annoying. Overall, it was not something that was expected out of a hotel.

This place was recommended by our bellman!! It was further away than we had wanted but TOTALLY worth it!! Wings are the BEST!!!! Meatball sandwich was AMAZING! Great atmosphere and friendly staff!!!

We just spent Memorial Day weekend at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant and accommodating. The hotel is beautiful, we look forward to returning. We had a great time!

Beautiful hotel, awesome service. Kind of pricey and there were strikers on the street but I'll give it 5 star for the service that was not on strike. My only complaint is that the WiFi wasn't free but I could live with that

Enjoyed our short stay. Our room was super hot though and didn't seem to cool down very much when we turned the temp down. We finally had to turn the heat off as it was so hot it made it difficult to breathe and sleep. Other than that, the bed was comfortable and we had a great view from our room.

The rooms were ok although I checked in online the day before and on arriving at 3:30pm room still was not ready. The rooms are starting to look a bit worn and could use a refresh. There is no way to check your bill or check out either on the TV or on the little tablet provided.

The biggest disappointment is no executive lounge and they don't offer the continental breakfast. I was told (am a Diamond member) that there would be a 10.00 per person credit toward any establishment in the hotel. Never saw the credit as you have to put it on room bill. That was never told to us. Should at least given coupons otherwise it just takes it off bill (if you know to charge it to room) which goes back to company if doing an expense report. The staff was friendly and polite but overall, one of least accommodating Hiltons in Chicago or many places I've been. Will choose another on my next trip to the area

1) never did a room service staff at other hotels knock on the door to do room service on the day I would check out.

2) never have I been asked to pay if I want to leave my luggage with the hotel for a while after checking out. This is something esp I wouldn t expect from a high-end hotel like this one.

3) there is no sign in the front door indicating where the check in/registration desk is. And I ve met other guests who had this problem.

4) the room interior is mediocre compared to other hotels I ve stayed around the same price

5) I selected a room a day before on the Hilton app, but upon arrival they had to move me to another room cuz the room I selected isn t ready. Why do you have me select in the first place?

6) I asked a question on the app to the staff and got a very cold and answer without addressing my name and any other sort of language that makes you feel you are welcome.

All the above is not something I expected out of a hotel of this price.

The room is good, but if you want to be able to see the lake view, you need to add money a few days before the check-in. There are elevators that look old and are amazingly fast. Baggage is expensive...

Pro: Latasha at front desk is simply amazing!! She went above and beyond with guest service. Breakfast buffet was delicious and the hotel is beautiful and in a great location.

Con: Our room was extremely small. Only 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel were provided. However, we had 3 wash cloths. Wire hangers hanging on lamp when we checked in.

Be aware, they charge $3 per bag for luggage storage. First place I have had to pay for storage.

I wouldn t stay at this hotel again due to price and the room and luggage issues.

This hotel is a great place to stay if you re in Chicago to visit the museums or go to Soldier Field. The rooms are nice in a classic way. We stayed in a room on the north side of the hotel and were able to see Lake Michigan and had a good view of the park across the street as well.

The restaurants offer a good selection of food at different price points. We had drinks and dinner at Kitty O Sheas and the food was good and the portions were just right. They also have an extensive whiskey collection and several different flights available if you want to try a few. The gym is top notch with a track a good sized indoor pool and lots of equipment.

The only complaint I had was the hostess at the restaurant for breakfast was rude to my wife and son so I had to take a star because I believe service is important when choosing a place to relax. The rest of the staff was accommodating (our server at Kitty O Sheas was very good with our son) and made up for the rude hostess.

Stayed for Midwest Clinic. 2 miles away from McCormick Place. Used the shuttle. Arrived at 1am. Front desk professional and helpful. Stayed on 18th floor. 2 beds, 2 closets, 2 bathrooms. Everything clean. No fridge. One desk. TV and all in one touchscreen computer available. Didn't use.

Great old hotel. Lots of grandur and very stately. Huge even by today's standards. Renovated not too long ago means fixtures in the rooms are decently modern. Walls are still a bit thin and elevators are all grouped together so it can be a bit of a walk to your room. Overall a very nice hotel and fantastic ballrooms would be an ideal location for a function or wedding.

Located in the heart of Chicago, the hotel is easily accessible on foot to major attractions. But the room stock is very old, and the service leaves much to be desired. An extra blanket was brought to us from the second time after three hours.

No sheets/ duvet blanket. There was no shampoo in the room among the shower accessories, which also had to wait a long time. And all the requests to back off, a complete lack of customer focus.

As a bonus, historic lobby interiors from the Normandy liner.

This hotel is really wonderful. I haven't stayed there in the rooms, but you can go and have an excellent buffet brunch. Also they host the some Running/triathlon expos, and the space is excellent for that. Very well run.
